Clear out several hours, this makes for good reading and the crosslinks will keep you busy for some time to come.
Heel Face Turn.
That said, the bad guy defecting to the good guys side... but still remaining bad... can be a very effective plot tool.
Not to mention it can make for some brilliant writing.

If it's a really bad guy, there is a very slim chance.
If the bad guy has a redeemable quality like Dinobot's honor code, maybe the chance increases.

I believe yes. However, when I think of characters like Unicron, all the Megatrons from all the series, etc. I would say no. They could be good if they wanted to, but I do not think they would ever want to be. In an episode from G1, Blitzwing left the Decepticon cause.

I don't remember the name of the episode, but it was an episode in season 3 where Blitzwing confronts Galvatron at the end of the program and defies his orders. Galvatron says something like, "You'll suffer Blitzwing, you'll suffer greatly for this!"

Razor, I told myself "I can't spend
hours on there. I really shouldn't."
That idea remained wasn't contradicted for 59 minutes and 59 seconds. But then...
References to Inigo Montoya and the Terminator galore. So much to read...

Well is it toward the end of season 3 or the begining?

I'll skim through season 3 today on the dvd and get back to you as to what episode it was and the plot of the story.
