I did this to get a song out of my head. That didn't work, but I'm quite satisfied with the video. If you have my name on Deviantart, go to my latest deviation for details of the making of this video.

There's more to that than meets the eye.

I realize I could go to Deviantart, but I don't have your name on there and I'm feeling a bit lazy at the moment.
What codec was that rendered in?
What song was that?
Now I've got that song stuck in my head.
Did you use a capture card and record that video from the DVDs or VHS or did you just download those clips from the good old Interweb?

Codec: DivX player
Song: Across the Stars from teh Attack of teh Clones Soundtrack
I downloaded the episodes. So there is a vid card that makes it possible for me to make vids from DVD's and possibly VCD's? I'd love to use that instead of teh slow, unreliable torrents.
Resolution: I have a really high resolution version on my hard drive. Want me to email that to you? As for DeviantArt, I'm SilSolo. What's your name there?

I don't have a name on Deviantart.
Yes, there are cards that allow you to record video to your computer.
Here is the one I have in my desktop
The one I use in my laptop is no longer listed on that site but it is also made by the same company as the capture card above. Now, to use one of these cards there are certain specifications your computer must meet. The ones posted on the site are not quite complete. If you post your computer specs I can tell you if you meet them.
Processor type and speed
RAM amount and what type (PC100, PC2100, etc.)
Hard drive size, speed, and cache size, or just what kind it is if you don't know that stuff.
Sure, but I don't think you could email me the video. Most email services will only send files 8MB or less in size. Have you ever thought about hosting your video on Google video? It's free and you can host any resolution video no matter how long or how big the file is. Just go to Google Video and sign up for an account. I don't know if you need a Gmail account to get the service or not, and I don't know if you have a Gmail account or not, but I'd be happy to send you a Gmail account invite to make your own if you need it.
