SLAG THAT PERSON WHO MADE A FALSE REPORT ON MY TIGATRON AVATAR!!! I MADE THAT AVATAR MYSELF AND I DIDN'T EVEN RIP THAT PIC FROM ANYONE!! CURSE THAT SLAGGIN PIECE OF F****** UP S***!! I MADE THAT AVATAR MYSELF!!

Well, the only you can do and is try to clear it up and tell those mods or admin that you created that avatar.

That would make me very annoyed.

Starshadow, what site did this happen on and what was the message you received? How did you find out it was deleted?

On D.A. They sent me 2 notes and it said someone reported my avatar is copyrighted and was automatically deleted. SLAG THAT STINKING TRASHY JUNK HEAP!! I CAME UP WITH THE HUGGING IDEA ON MY OWN!!!

D.A is pretty strong on their anti-theft/copyrighted material.. If they felt it was apparent through someone else via a posted date that's hard to fake, then perhaps they were in the right.

Ask them for a detailed reason on why they felt it was in violation of their policies. You might be able to argue it, depending on the reason. However, no, there may not be much you can do if they decide their evidence for removing it is strong enough.

Do you think you can post an image of that avatar and the picture drawn by the accuser?

I saw this topic and had some minor worries as I've had to remove a few avatars lately for being a bit too large... the timing was impeccable to say the least, lol.

As to the topic at hand, send a message to the DA admins asking politely why action was taken against your avatar. While I sympathise with the urge to vent your frustrations on them it will get you absolutely nowhere if you want this resolved.

If you can supply proof that the image in question is an original of yours, do so. It will definitely help your case.

was it that one with that screenshot of Tigatron looking up and saying "Hug?"

if thats the case, they might have been refering to you using a copyrighted image thats all

PS if that is the case, then the mods on DA are really not doing their jobs well, since half of DA is just stock photos people comment on lol

I have to defend DA there Aesir. Stock photo's are a completely different thing then copyrighted images from television shows.

A stock image is defined as something you the artist created and took, and are allowing others the permission to use, so long as they inform you. Some have rigid rules, and do not allow their stocks to be used for profit, or outside Deviantart.

A copyrighted image is illegal on DA. Take my signatures. If I posted a picture of Rampage, and merely altered the color a little..it's still a copyrighted image of Rampage, and thus, not allowed because it is not something I created and is not mine.

I was intending to send that avatar to Sapph. Oh wells!! what's over is over...
