"I'm coming too." Snow Trix left the bse transofmring and running after them silently thoruhg the undergrowth, almost not even visible despite the white color of her pelt. With the lone wandeirng and alll Snow Trix had elarned to campflaudge ehrself nwo,with out mud, and was about to moeve through this environment easily now. When the waterfall came into view the fox slipped slently to a tree she had perched on awhile ago and crouched under a bush. HEr eyes wer enarrowed, focusing on the entrance,watching for a signal from Glowstick to attack.

(Once again Warwulf and Pheonix have left their characters to me, their lives are too busy to post..*sigh*)

Moonshine watched the group, listening to the music coming from the communication channels again, pondering what the words "Navigational radar" meant. Navigational radar.. Wouldn't that imply the Predacons have a vehicle or a member of their team with radar abilities like Orcariner?

Icebreaker walked towards the broken Stalagmite sitting down Could be.. They're rather crafty critters.. Icebreaker then pulled a lever on his gun as it switched to missile mode. You know I've been thinkin'.. instead of a holographic projector wouldn't it of made more sense to put a door at the front of the cave? Even with the rushing water, a well enough explosion would just rush in..

Moonshine shrugged We just didn't have enough material, even the CR chamber isn't covered with doors to allow privacy.

Icebreaker then looks towards Xzuk So now what boss?

Luna and Tantrum walked in pair towards the location that the Predacon base was, Luna lowered her head sniffing the burnt grass with a frown. She disliked the prospects of damaging this planet, even in the slightest. She then turned her head pointing into the forest Come on meat head. It's this way.

Tantrum snorted annoyed, holding back the urge to simply gore the canine though his cattle form didn't even have horns. He followed the wolf reluctantly as they headed into the woods. Luna followed the scent of burnt fuel then came to a sudden stop as her head smacked into the vehicle. Ow.. What the.. huh?.. That Squid outdid himself.. she then said looking over the craft. She then transformed Luna Terrorize! Wow.. this thing is bigger then you hamburger! she then stated, feeling over the vessel until she found a hatch release causing the back door to lower like a ramp, she then walked inside.

Tantrum roared as he transformed to robot mode, carrying a pile of gun parts in his arms. He has his uses.. for now. he then stated walking into the craft. He dropped the pile onto a bench, then sat down next to it. His optics shifted as he noticed the scent of energon in the air, lifting a cup from a machine Well I'll be.. he then downed it in a swig.

Luna looked at the computers inquisitively, then noticing the communication system activating the predacon channels. Uh.. testing? Glowstick are you there? We're here now, the turrets are a bit messed up, no thanks to Baby-back ribs here. Where are you guys?

Glowstick descended into the forest just outside the range of the maximal base. He set Lineos down as he then transformed landing on the ground, suppressing his glowing and shine he looked over the environment, then received the radio message.

This is Glowstick, we're out in the field at the moment. Luna, stay at base and guard it. Have Tantrum's Gatling gun scanned by the CR bed, then have him converge on our area. I'll send coordinates now. While your there, you can scan and try to use that alien technology to be productive.. or just get more familiar with the ship.

Glowstick then looked over the river and waterfall, he turned towards Lineos I'll get closer to see if any targets are in there, you get in position.. but be on the look out. They could be anywhere.

Glowstick then sent his tentacles out towards a tree branch, lifting and swinging himself, he then landed in the river with a splash, though with the roaring of the waterfall the sound went unnoticed. He then proceeded to swim up river towards the waterfall.

Luna looked at Tantrum Well you heard the fish, get on the bed while I play doctor. she then giggled, Tantrum got up moving towards the CR bed and sat down, the scanner extended scanning over his stomach, as it finished he smacked it away, then slammed his fists together as he transformed to his cattle mode walking out of the ship.

Luna waved Good riddance.. Now lets see what I can do with these.. she then said to herself pulling a lever near the exit, the ramp raising and closing on the back of the Predacon tank. She then moved some of the parts onto the bed and proceeded in scanning them.

Orcariner finished sculpting the first tree. From afar it would seem like the Maximal had created a massive toothpick, but as long as it met his needs he did not care. Picking up the second tree, the giant proceeded to perform the same carving motions with his arm blade.

If all of the Predacons are coming, we're going to need quite a few of these, he thought.

Making it to the waterfall, Glowstick started to climb along the rocks, he then shifted peering into the cave, his transparent body seeming to blend well with the roaring water.

His eye shifted as he counted, then slid back into the water to the bottem, swimming with his fins towards the others, the predacon radios then heard him I count 4 in there.. the whale is missing but the fox, two birds, and some dinosaur are in there.. begin the attack and be on the lookout for sneak attacks by that giant.

"YES!" roared Lineos. "Now we fight!" Lineos, terrorize! As he transformed, Lineos looked over at the waterfall and began to charge at it with a gradual increase in speed. In mid charge, Lineos pulled out Lasos and Galvos. With Lasos firmly aimed, he began to fire at the fall.

((I'm waiting for another maximal reaction for Cerano to began fighting.))

the shots could be heard from the distance as Tantrum rushed on his way towards the coordinates sent to him earlier, he gave a angry grunt while he began to run Those lubebags started the party without me! he then shouted to himself.

Glowstick remained in the water watching, his transparent body making it difficult to see him as he settled near the bottom. He knew his weapons would be useless in trying to destroy or lure the enemies as they used focused strikes, not pressure damage like a bomb. It also seemed wiser to him to pay attention to the area in case of any sneak attacks by the whale or other unknowns..

Moonshine grabbed onto a stalagmite as the area started to shake What's going on now?! It really is a attack?! she then said in a panic, the idea of being in a battle was really the last thing that came to mind to her.

Icebreaker growled raising his Break shield We're like sitting ducks in here! I'll distract that firepower from you guys, you just try to get out of here. he then stood up with his gun held firmly.

"You're not seriously thinking of taking on those Predacons on without any backup, right?" Was Cerano's response as he took out his shotgun and a wrench.

Finishing with the last tree, Orcariner lifted the enormous javelins onto his shoulders. He was ready for war and despite the seemingly unorthodox weaponry at hand, the Maximal was drawing his attack plan loosely inspired an older tactic used by the Decepticons. It was ironic that it would be their idea that was being used against their descendants. Orcariner was quite a ways from the home base, but as long as he reached the battle before it was over, the Maximals may very well achieve a hard earned victory.

Xzuk looked around the cave checking to be sure the supports would hold against the attack, sure enough, they were doing fine. But the others were right... No where to manuever wasn't a good thing.

"I'm movin out Maximals, give me cover fire."

He turned and bolted for the waterfall. He needed to get somewhere he could make effective use of his rifle. Not to mention he had a plan for changing the tides...

"Maximize!"

He changed just before diving through the waterfall and he readied his charges.

Let's see what happens when the ground you've stolen... falls from beneath your feet...

He smiled as he planted six detonation charges beneath the Predacons before swimming back towards the mouth of the cave. Once he broke the surface of the water he went back into the base with the trigger for the charges in his hand.

"When I pull this, get somewhere with better cover and optimum sight. And make it quick. This wont keep them busy long."

(Sorry to keep you lot waiting. Worst week of my life...)

As Xzuk exited the cave, Icebreaker suddenly moved forward to the cave mouth leaning out he pointing his gun out firing off a missile towards Lineos. Suck on that lizard! he then shouted before moving back.

Moonshine hid behind some of the stalagmites as the events unfolded, in a panic she held her laser rifle shakily.

Glowstick raised an eyelid as he watched from the water Xzuk dive in, plant something, and leave. What the.. He's either suicidal.. or.. oh slag! Glowstick then shouts on the radio MINES!



In the distance Tantrum continued to charge along towards their location by himself, huffing snorts coming from his nose, his heavy cow body not really designed for running like some species.

[Xzuk]

Xzuk nodded to the other Maximals and slammed the button down. The explosion could be heard even from out of the water. A smile spread across his face as he pulled out his rifle.

"Move out!"

He ran out of the base and used his jump jets to clear the close range combat. He landed on a cliff face and took some cover behind a few boulders.

Lets see... Lineos is a pretty big target...

He smiled as the rifle charged up and he fired a beam towards the Predacons main muscle.

Luna finished the final touches on the base defense system she'd been working on, but she was getting bored being stuck at the base by herself. The others had left to battle the Maximals.

Maximals..

Luna scoffed at the thought of those pests. It was their fault that the beautiful planet was now in danger of suffering. The sooner they were vanquished the better.

Yet she was stuck here, unable to see for herself what damage was being done, and more importantly.. prevent any further damage from happening.

Images of burning trees and helpless native animals getting slaughtered raced through her mind..

Not able to withstand it much longer, the canine started preparing to head out after the others.

At the Maximal base Moonshine was at a loss. Her hand holding the weapon was shaking, in fact, as she contemplated what to do. They were terribly outnumbered and would likely soon be overtaken by the attackers. So part of her wanted to help defend their new base and her comrades. Yet she also feared she'd inflict damage on the invaders. Moonshine was a medic and it went against her beliefs to inflict injuries on anyone. But her friends needed her help..

Sighing she took aim at the invaders, attempting to get her shots close enough to scare yet not close enough to actually inflict injuries.

with the detonation of the bombs, a shockwave ran through the river knocking Glowstick out of hiding. He transformed in midair holding his head with a tentacle. Ug.. my head..

He looked up towards Xzuk as his teal optics shifted to bright red, he raised his tentacles holding them together as the main photophores's iris on the two tentacles opened wide for a moment like a rather creepy eyeballs, then narrowed as he fired a focused laser from the end.
the beam flew towards under the barrel of Xzuk's gun to knock it out of his hand.

Glowstick then spread his tentacles whipping them out into the trees, then retracted and released in a slingshot maneuver sending himself up towards the cliffs.

Landing softly in a crouch he then stood drawing a sword from his back pointing it towards Xzuk, the strange blade oozing a blue slime from along the sides onto the edge and collecting as a blob. It's rather lonely up here just shooting us, why not try for something more two player?

Icebreaker suddenly rushed out of the cave after the bomb blast, his gun held ready. (Now no more striking Lineos until he posts. Kay?)

His optical scopes were not spectacular, but Orcariner was close enough to see the base surrounded by the Predacon horde. Skimming the river and its surroundings, he could only see Icebreaker and Moonshine returning fire against the overwhelming odds.

Can't really tell if that's all of the Preds, he thought, Scanner's still offline.

The giant set down the sharpened logs and picked one up with his hand. Grunting, he threw the massive javelin into the air towards the enemy lines. Optics widening, Orcariner watched as the makeshift weapon spun in the air with horrendous accuracy and land, not puncture, on the grass where no Predacon stood nearby. Eyes turned towards his hiding spot in confusion.

Blast it! I forgot one end needed to be heavier for this to work!

Panicking, the Maximal continued to throw the remaining toothpick-like logs into the air, hoping that the raining javelins would hit at least one target.

As Cerano charged out, he decided to toss his wrench at that lizard. With Ratchet-style accuracy, The wrench curved perfectly to strike the reptile right in the skull. "One hit, one... up?" was the response to excess of 800 pounds of berserking lizard not even stumbling charging right at Cerano.

That hurt, Maximal. As a shot struck Lineos' armor and something hit him in the chest, Lineos reflected on the good old times... and how maximals back then tasted better. He only got a few seconds of thought before something struck him full in the head.

That triggered one ugly reaction. With a roar of energonlust, Lineos charged down at the reptile while subspacing his weapons. Why slice him up when I can just rip him apart was the thought as Lineos tackled Cerano. What Cerano noticed that Lineos didn't was that Icebreaker had also been caughtin the tackle.
