Anybody working or schooling?

Unread post by starshadow »

I noticed when I logged in, there were very little users online (examples: Night-Hunter and NaitoKage)
Sooo....Who's working or schooling?

For those who are working:
Okay...I understand. After work, your muscles starts aching and you're tired and need a rest. Have a shower and take a nice break.

For those who are schooling:
*sighs* I one of you students...Wake up early in the morning and then you get tired after you reach home, having a headache and more stress on homework and blah blah blah...Poor us...

For those who are "24-hours free people":
Good for you...But the bad news is that if you are online, I'm offline because I'm sleeping and I only would be online at night (my place would be day).

Only 7 days left before I go back to school. This first year of high school is not going to be fun.

PS: if I seem irritable, then it probably has something to do with cross-country (8 miles without walking) or school.
Because there's a phrase for people who drive out into the middle of very flat, open country while being chased by Starscream in his F-22 form. "Sitting duck."

I'm starting the third year of college in Dallas, and it's super-intense and we just finished one week of it. I have stuff to finish before Tuesday, and projects up the wazoo .... lol. But it's going to be a fun trip. On top of school, I'm also working to pay off my school as I go. So what little time that I do have is probably going to be spent online.

Doing both, but I voted school since that's my primary "occupation".

I'm one of the "old" farts here who was done with college five years ago and works full time. Blah! And if anyone is curious, my schedule goes like this: I start work at 7am (EST) but I have to get up at 5:20am, and I don't get home until a little after 5pm (Mondays through Thursdays). I get up the same time on Fridays but I'm out of work by 11am, so it's pretty nice. Although, time flies at night after work because it's only like five or six hours that I'm home awake and then I sleep. Hopefully I can make a career change soon.

Both. At the same time.

What little spare time I get is dedicated to world domination. Sleep is eliminated from the equation completely.

Sleep is for the weak. That's what Mr. Fluffles told me. He says many things. About many subjects. And about many people. He told me that if I... removed certain roadblocks towards our iron fisted rule, he would reward me with cake.

Cake and Pie.

Mmmmmmm.

Ouch at OOP and Sinead's schedules!

I'm at college. Poking people's insides and wondering whether they're supposed to turn green when I do that.

Oh, and Razor One? Awesome....

I had school in January-May, but I'm going to quit it. Business information technology is too hard and boring for me.

Instead I'm starting comparative literature in an open university later this month. ...It means I can get academic credits by doing one of my favorite pastimes... READING. 8D (I'm especially excited because Ovid's Metamorphoses is on the list. I've always wanted to read it and what could be a better time than this?)

Also, the lectures take place from around 5 PM until like 7 PM so it will be easy and fun. Plus, if I get through the course with flying colors, I'll sail on over to university and continue the programme there. On the other hand I could also try to get into other programmes - linguistics, history, geography, East Asian studies, stuff like that.
