In the thread, "How it's going to start", it was discussed whether or not we would start the role play in the first episode, or shortly before the probe, since many original character players wished to have their people come on a rescue craft in a manner similar to the probes in that episode.

Most wanted to start on the first episode (Plan A), but Razor One came up with an additional idea:

"If we're going the rescue craft route, we could have two semi-seperate RP threads, one on Earth Focusing on the Beast Wars, another on Cybertron leading up to selection of the crew for the rescue craft and being sent off.

That way those that want to play their OC's get to do so without being bored while they wait for a piece of the action."

Do we still intend to have a thread for that? I know we're trying to get our bearing's strait on the first episode still, but then, these are, for the most part, different players who would have to be concerned about that alternate story line, and since they would be a collection of O.C's there would probably be a lot less bureaucratic hassle along the lines of having to stick to episode scripts, largely established personalities, etc.

So... Greyback, Aurora, Razor One, Nightscape? That's right, I'm talking to you.

Sounds good to me... I think in the excitement of the beginning of the RP, we all forgot about that particular idea.

However, all characters on Cybertron may have to submit TWO profiles if they have a vehicle mode on Cybertron, then assume a beast mode later on in the Beast Wars. But perhaps all we'll have to do is tweak the format a little bit... this is just for the sake of consideration.

Maybe... some of the already judged O.C.'s could just go to that story and come that way?
