Well, I don't see it here, so here it is:
TFCon
From what I've been told, it's much better than Botcon.

Also helps that it's a convention run by fans, for fans. Check it out, I have yet to have a complaint about it.
I also need to stop lurking around here...

The link does not work, and I'd be very surprised that anything could better Botcon.

A working link.
'Better' depends on what you're looking for. But, yeah, it's the biggest unofficial TF convention around, it's run by cool people, and for some of us, it's as local as it can get.

Gregg Berger rules. TFCon had him as a guest last year. He makes a great drinking buddy.

Officially, no. But word has been given as to, unofficially, who has agreed to attend.
I would say who, but my blood will be shed if I do.

lol, If I met with Gregg Berger, that would be great, the main reason i'm going there though is to get some hard to come by robots

I might go to Auto Assembly this year. It all depends on when I eventually decide to go to Australia. IF I do go I'll post up a thread about it to see who else is going. Would be nice to meet up with some British Bwinters at the con. I went in 2006. It was very good and I got to meet David Kaye and go out to dinner with him and the convention organizers. Too rad! XD

That's great, Aesir! I'm jealous because Ian's going to that one too. I met Gregg in '01 and '03. He's such a sweety. I hope you have fun!

I didn't know that, Sapphire. Is that why he agreed for the lot of us to eat lunch with him at the 2007 BotCon?

That was fun. It was such a treat to eat and hang out with so many BW Inters.
I remember eating out to dinner with Alec Willows, Scott McNeil, Garry Chalk, and a bunch of others with the MechaCon back in 2006. That was a blast. You just never know what's going to happen at these conventions.

I hope this year's BotCon will be just as entertaining and spontaneous as it was in '07.

Well, if I'm allowed to say who is attending before they announce it on the website, then I will do so, and you guys will be one of the first to know.
But they're still calling around, so it may still be a week or two.
