I'm CabooseMoose7103, although people usually refer to me as Moosey since they don't want to type my full name over and over again. This looks like a nice forum, a nice site as well, really cool looking. Now let's see, stuff about me...

Me:I'm from a small town in upstate New York, I'm 16 years old and soon to be 17. I'll admit that I'm not as well versed in Transformers, or even Beast Wars as probably many of the people on this site (especially Safeguard  man you've seen a lot), nor have I really been to any conventions or had the chance to meet any of the voice actors ever ( I am so jealous of those of you who have) although I would like to meet Scott McNeil someday. I have seen all of Beast Wars (MANY times) and would love to do 3D animation someday. I'm slowly learning how to use 3d Studio Max, although it's a powerful program it is very complex (I don't know if anyone here has experience with it or not).

Interests:Plotting World Domination (humoruos plots that I devise in study halls when I have no work, best use of my school assignment book ever :D, maybe I'll post one sometime), Machinima, Xbox Live games (I've made many friends on there), 3D Animation, Programming (I'm learning C right now), Video Production stuff, Computer stuff (I actually run a small IT business on the side; doing networking, maintenance, computer repair, and security consulting, and I also do some video editing projects for people as well), Hot-air ballooning (been doing it all my life, absolutely love it), robotics (I'm a member of a FIRST robotics team), hanging out with my friends, and I think that's it, oh wait, Nintendo games are cool too, okay NOW I'm done...I think...

So, long story short, Hi I'm Moosey!

EDIT: Yeah, I realize my avatar isn't BW related, but it's the one I've been using for awhile, it's a picture of me on Halo 2.

Greetings Moosey. I am Wicked Woman, poll manager and local viewer of BWINT (though I have been known to be MIA for a bit).

Finally, someone else interested in using 3D programs. Unfortunately I haven't used any of them (3D Studio Mac is too darn expensive).

So who's your Beast Wars Character and how long have you been a BW fan? Hope you feel at home here.

Hi and welcome Caboosemoose!
You're interested in 3d animation? I certainly see the appeal,
i once thought of becoming an animator myself but i'm more
into writing.

Like WW i'm wondering who your BW favorites are but also the
characters you don't like or feel indifferent about.

I like each and every one of them for different resons but the
characters i like the most are Megatron, Rhinox, Rattrap, BA,
Primal, Tarantulas, DC, the original Dinobot, Inferno, Rampage
and Waspinator.

Oh yeah and i might as well say that i'm an oldschool Transformer
fan who's been around the general TF fandom a while and watched most TF shows eccept some of the older Japanese toons.

Hi all! Sorry it took me so long, my internet decided to take a nap yesterday.

I've been a fan of the series since it first aired in the US and have never stopped loving it. I did watch a little of the original Transformers when I was younger but I never really got hooked on it in the same manner in which I got hooked on BW. I think part of it was that I was probably too young to really appreciate it, and that it was done in regular animation. I've just always been drawn to 3D stuff with it's limitless possibilities to create anything, including entire worlds, plus the acting and writing in BW was excellent.

I've always liked Cheetor. He's kind of goofy and immature at times (okay most of the time) like me. Dinobot and Rattrap are on my list as well. The two of them just seem to go together like peanut butter and jelly and I've found myself laughing at their antics everytime I watch an episode. Silverbolt is a personal favorite of mine as well. He and Cheetor are probably my two most favorite characters, I have the toys for both of them and will probably never part with either one. There is just something about Silverbolt that says "cool" to me, I don't know exactly what it is. This may sound kind of corny but I also use him as a sort of role-model for the way I interact with other people. I have a pseudo honor code that I live by; I try to be a bit more chivalrous towards others than the average person is nowadays. Then of course there is Waspinator, I can't for get about him now can I? He's always hilarious.

As for characters I dislike, I can't really decide, they're all good and they all have their moments. Although if I had to pick I would have to say the arachnids (sp?). I like their personalities but I have a touch of arachniphobia so their beast modes are a bit creepy to me.

Yeah I know what you mean, I would never be able to afford a copy of 3ds Max on my own. Autodesk is a sponsor of the FIRST Robotics program I mentioned above, so as a member of a FIRST team I have access to a free copy of the latest version of both Autodesk's engineering software Inventor and 3ds Max. I have come across a website where you can obtain a copy of 3ds Max and many other programs for a reduced price, it's called Academic Superstore. It offers a copy of 3ds Max 8 for about $300 US as opposed to $3000 US. Maya and Adobe programs are available there as well.

Thanks! I'm in awe of your photoshopping skills, I could never figure out how to do any of the pictures you've had in your sig.

You're welcome!

 Awe, thank you. ^.^ I was trained in college for digital art, and the primary software was Photoshop. So, you can imagine I've had a lot of hands-on with it over a 2 year period. However, I just can't remember it all. But I absolutely love it.

Heh, looks like you remember enough to me :) I enjoy digital art stuff too, although I'm not a very talented artist. Still, I can create more than stick figures.

Maybe what I remember I just think of as the basics because I use those techniques the most. Heh. But there's so much to the software that I just can't remember. I don't think I was taught all of it, anyway. Ah well.

That's spiffy! Hey, what's wrong with stick figures? I think just about everyone, if not all, have some sort of their own artform on here. It's really cool to see and read it all from so many different people. I'm sure you'll fit right in. :D

I certainly hope so. I haven't been here that long and I already like this forum. I've never gotten such a warm welcome anywhere else.

Hopefully I will have something to contribute soon. I have other videos I've done, but they're not BW related. I saw a thread topic on here about different theme songs for characters and such and it got me thinking about doing a montage for certain characters (I say "certain" because I don't think I can stand to sit there and manipulate video of animated arachnids). Sort of a tribute if you will. I need to get at least the Season 2 DVDs before I can really create a video. Not sure which character I'm going to do yet though. It'll probably end up being Dinobot.

On the subject of programs. Instead of payin $300 or $3000 just download it for free. 3dMax is all over the net along with Photoshop CS2. Pretty much all of em are out there for free grab. I enjoy playin around with Photoshop CS2, don't do a lot of digital graphic stuff. I stick to Macromedia Flash etc.

Welcome to the boards though, enjoy the stay. ;)

Yeah I know, I've done that. I've got quite a few audio mixing and video editing programs along with Photoshop 7.0 and Acrobat. I'm personally a fan of Limewire, never bothered to learn how to use torrents.
