Remy's site now has a new gallery of this Japanese-release Megatron, and we finally get some really clear shots at the new head for this remolded toy!

For some reason they look alot better than what they did last time and they still are only gonna cost $15.

Last time I checked, 8000 yen did NOT equal $15. And that's the Japanese-only release, not the Hasbro release.

Maybe, maybe not; I figured, because it's a BW toy, it would be in in the BW section. But eh, whichever.

It can fit in either section, so I think it's fine to leave it here. But thanks for keeping an eye on things, WW.
That Megatron toy is pretty nice, although while the face has his trademark smirk, I'm not sure if I like it. Meh, maybe I need to see it in RL to make up my mind. I wonder - will this be available at this year's Botcon?

It'll probably depend on whether or not any of the dealers present will have the item "in stock". There's a chance that, between now and BotCon, dealers who import the toys from Japan could very well sell out of the item, but you never really know. Also note that this Megatron is part of a 2-pack with a similarly re-decoed Optimus Primal, and it also comes with a multimedia CD-ROM designed to resemble the golden alien disk (but the content is Japanese, given that the item is from Takara).

I don't think you understand. It's a
Japan-exclusive item, which means that Hasbro is not carrying this set.

I dare to disagree I have found a place online where they where selling the single figures for $20.00 USD or the whole package for $90.00 USD.

Hasbro isn't carrying the item. It's being made by Takara. That doesn't mean that shops aren't going to import it.

I read it wrong. I thought he meant there was no way it was coming to the U.S.
