BW Ravage

Description from dA:

After I distributed my G1 Ravage drawing, several of my friends asked me to draw the Beast Wars version of the cool Decepticon, so here he is!

His left eye on the drawing with him holding his guns was aggravating me. I couldn't get it right, and then I did something I don't normally do after I've penciled in so much. I... *gulp* ...attempted to erase it to redo it. For shame! LoL Trust me, it looks better than it did before I erased and redrew it. Overall, I think it's rockin'.

Those of you who haven't seen these episodes with Ravage, the ship is NOT what he transforms into. He still converts into a small tape cassette but I couldn't get a nice screenshot of that so I decided to draw his ship because it played a significant part in his arrival and his death. And it looks schweet. XD

Pencil

sigh, OOP, you insist on making me tell you how much you rock in two places. Alloyon next?

again, you ROCK!

Beastly: at the end of the Agenda pt 2 when he cries, "Decepticons forever!" he transforms back into a tape and inserts himself into the ship's....tape holder thingy

and he looks like a cat coz he was a cat in G1. and he's been reprogrammed and rebuilt as a Predacon, meaning some modifications were meaning, with the energin preservations and what not

and OOP's not too fond of colours, are you OOP? :P

<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 it, OOP.

I think the left eye looks fine. I'm not sure if you intended it to look that way or not, but I couldn't help thinking "You feeling lucky, punk...?" when I saw it. He has a confident, challenging look which goes wonderfully with the twin pistols casting their laser targets at the viewer.

I know I say it a lot, but excellent work!

Awe, come on. I've seen better than me. Thank you, though. ^_^

 Am I that predictable? XD Jagna and Rainshade are right, Beastly. When it comes to Beast Wars, using a regular mechincal pencil is muuuuch easier for me. I have only two acrylic paintings that I've done in color which take hours to do (those are around here somewhere if you wanted to see them). I haven't done another since '06 but I'll be doing one for Reboot soon. Colored pencils don't shade well enough for me and I don't have enough practice with pastels to do a nice drawing. Besides, they're too messy. These drawings with just pencil take me several hours and I don't get to work on them non-stop. If you want me to draw someone, though, I'd be happy to do it. However, it'll be a while until I get to it. I have three projects to work on, two of which are due in February so I'll be working on them through January.
sigh, OOP, you insist on making me tell you how much you rock in two places. Alloyon next?
 I told you! "I don't rock and roll. I buuuurn!" Thank you, Jagna. No, I haven't posted any artwork there yet.

Yesss. Thank you, Rainshade!

 Thank you, Moosey! Love the hearts. ^_^

LoL Nice. You really think so? I'm probably too picky. Still, now when I look at it I think it's far too dark around both his eyes. XD Oh well.
He has a confident, challenging look which goes wonderfully with the twin pistols casting their laser targets at the viewer.
You're too kind. ^_^ Those laser pointers on his guns were a challenge themselves. It's very hard to make something look illuminated on paper with pencil. Especially when the beams cross a solid object. Meh. It came out as well as I could make it.
I know I say it a lot, but excellent work!
Awe, that's okay. You haven't been around enough to spout off so it's all built up inside of you. I understand. Again, it's great to hear from you. And thank you! *hug*

#rolls into the room after perusing the G1 Ravage pic# Oohh. Another one. I love the shading work that I've seen of yours and this is definitely no different. Read about what you were saying about Ravage's eye (and I along with everyone else think that it great as is), but if you wanted to run with an alternative, you could have given him an eye patch and made him pirate Ravage. :D

YAHAARRGGHH!! #grabs hold of handy rope# "You're mad!" "That's good, cause if I weren't, this probably wouldn't work." #bang! and Silver flies up and away#
It's ok sir. I'll be fine...

Just listen to your commander, bonebrain!

Yes dear...
