Hi all,

I know I've been like a ghost this year, but it's been very busy for me and it's even busier now that I am at University (and inundated with work). That said, I finally have a bit more free time this coming week so I want to update BWINT. I thought I'd give everyone a few days warning so if you've got any fics/art/bloopers/pics/whatever you'd like to submit, then feel free to do so now.

Secondly, I was thinking about doing a monthly Bwint E-newsletter. I'd need a team of contributors. There'd be reviews on toys and comics, we could have short fics/poetry, some showcased art, some fan debate - whatever strikes your fancy. It'll be done purely for fun. I'll probably put it in Word or PDF format and email it to anyone who subscribes. Because it's monthly and a number of fans are contributing, it shouldn't be too difficult for me to manage. Does anyone like this idea and is anyone interested in being a regular contributor?

That's my piece for now. Leave your comments here or email me/PM me. :)

The newsletter seems like a good idea Sapphire. I would like to contribute but i'm not sure if i can be a regular contributor as im getting snowed under Art College work. *re -reads post* Oh, but if its monthly then im sure i can help with a little something most months anyway.

Well, Im notan expert on Beast Wars toys or comics..but I do draw, i could help with the art-side of things and comment on things if you wished
im pretty good at evaluating artwork now :)

I really like the idea! I'd want to help. Though I'm not an expert on toys or comics and my scanner won't let me post any pictures.

I can contribute some short stories or poems (But they'll be rubbish XD) and I can review stories and pictures.

I know! There was this idea in a Transformers magazine, that one of the readers said whever or not could their questions and posts be answered by the Transformers.

What if we did the same thing like we pick a couple of questions and a different Predecon and Maximal each month to answer them? Yay or nay?

You don't need to be a professional at anything to do this, and even if you can't contribute every single month, that's cool. All this project needs to work is content and enthusiasm, so if you think, for example: "I am no good at reviews, but I COULD draw my own Transformer comic" please put that forward! I'm totally open to all kinds of suggestions. Your idea, Nyx, seems like a lot of fun. If enough people want to jump on board with this then we can form a team, pick and choose ideas and eventually put out a structure/assign tasks. It's only for fun, after all. So keep the ideas coming. :)

I'd be willing to debate.

Oh, and I don't own many toys, but I may be able to do mini stop-motions, if the newsletter would have a link to them or something.

This sounds fun!

Me contributing toy reviews to the newsletter would be a snap, since I write them for my own website anyways.

*snaps fingers in realisation* I could draw a short strip (1-3 panels) something simple and comedic, what'd fit snug in a newletter, then that leaves plenty of room for other artists to contribute. It'd be beast wars related of course and it'd be something i'd really enjoy to make ^_^

If you want Sapphire, i can email you a prototype of what i was thinking of if that helps.

Feel free to do that, Renegade Artist. Thanks! I am going to leave this thread up for a while to give people a chance to pitch in with their ideas and once we have enough people and an assortment of ideas, we can get the ball rolling. :) I'm really glad to see it's already had a decent response!

That... is... AWESOME!!!

Hey, why not do a 'previously' newsletter for the first we can put up one or two comics that have already been posted to peek some readers interest, we could even take a page or two from a couple of fics (or a scene) and add it.

(what I mean is that we stick parts of different fics on the e-newsletter and let them know where it is if they want to read more)

I'd love to contribute. I have the weekends off now and don't have to go to bed on Fridays (for now) so I'm in.

I buy every Transformer-related comic that comes out. :D I'd happily write up reviews for those. Along with the toys, if BeastBot doesn't beat me to it.
