Beast Wars video game
Did anyone play this? Can anyone tell me more about the Skriix than what the TF Wiki tells? Or are they just the Vok before the Vok were named?

Oh yeah. I've played this with a friend of mine.
I don't think there is much to the Shriix other than they want to destroy the Maximals and Predacons. And they are hard to beat. :p
How far have you gotten in the game? A friend and I have gotten to the volcanic levels on the Maximal side, and I believe there is a weird Shriix boss on that level. I'm not home right now, but once I get home (around the end of the month), I can look on my save file to see if there is any introduction for the volcanic levels.

Well, the little intro blurbs at the beginning of each zone didn't yield many results. But here is what I can tell you...
Basically, the Skriix are generally colored brown.
I believe this picture (http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Imag ... me_wtf.jpg) is of a Shriix monster. These creatures run towards you and then blow fire at you.
There are also some worm-creatures in the game that I believe are Shriix, but I'm not completely sure. In the desert levels of the BW game, these worms are generally brownish-green in color. They continuously pop out of nests on the sides of walls. Once you get to the polluted levels (as seen in the screenshot above), the worms are purple in color and are usually coming out of nests on the ground.
In either one of the polluted levels or volcanic levels (the final two zones), there is a Shriix boss. I've only seen it once, and I didn't get a good look at it (because it killed me too quickly). From what I remember, it has a brownish-humanoid form and shot powerful fire/missiles.
