Well, I made it.

I'm in Dallas, and I'm finally in college. It's been a long, long, LONG road to this place, but I'm glad of it. There has been so much to learn, and now here I am. Safe and sound and with reliable internet until Christmas!
We'll have a phone here soon, and my cell phone is up and working again. I'll have a new number come February, since that's when my phone runs out and I will not be signing up with Sprint again. I'll keep you all updated with that as life goes on and the months progress.
Just letting you all know where I am, what I'm doing, and that I'm back!

Congratulations, Sinead! It's so good to hear from you and that everything is well. Yay!
I only ever hear bad things about Sprint.
Cingular wasn't too great when I had that either. I'm
very happy with T-Mobile, though.

And that wasn't even planned. Ouch. I'm being absorbed!!! And I think I like it . . . ^.^
ANYWAYS. Thank you all for the kind words and supports and whatnot. I'm happy and hot and not very liking the 100 degree weather, but oh well. It's Texas, after all, and they like their AC very much, thank you. And I like it, too. SO!
Here's hoping that it continues to be nice!

Awesome, Sinead! Except for the excessive hot weather. >.< I heard how hot it's been down there. It was pretty hot up here in Pennsylvania all week last week! Brutal! But it seems to be finally cooling off after today. Mid 80's is gooood. Being in the 90's or more is evil.
Stay safe with that tropical storm down there! Or whatever level it's at at this point. o.O

Yay! One of my few fellow Pennsylvanians is returning! XD It's going to be a really nice weekend here weather-wise. ^.^
Sinead, keep an eye on Hurricane Dean! I hope it doesn't hammer Texas too hard, if at all, if continues on its projected path. o.O

WOO WOO!! Our fiesty irish gal is off to bigger and better things.
It is such a great life experience to get into college and finally be able to start focusing on the things that you really and to do. No peripheral "I'm never going to use this" subjects and being surrounded by people who are there for the same reason is such a positive step. I hope you have a blast and remember if you're ever in doubt just think of what Charlie the Unicorn would do.

Yeah, Hurricane Dean should end up weakening by the time it hits Dallas, if it hits us all. But we're getting a lot of people up here who have been evacuating the southern areas and the coastal thing.
Aaaannd now a roommate is telling me that two people were shot yesterday, in two different places around this area. Greeeaaat. That's something I needed to hear. >.<
Oh well.
