Alright folks, I've booked my flights. So, FYI, this is when I'm arriving and when I'm leaving (and all times are times the AIRPLANE arrives, so you also have to factor in a good hour-and-a-half-ish between the hotel and the plane):

Arriving at Providence Thursday, June 28th, at 10:00 am.

Leaving from Providence Sunday, July 1st, at 5:30 pm.

Thanks WW! And thanks for the email, Sapph! I sent it to my Mom, and we are now booked for June 27 - July 1 at the Marriot! *starts dancing*

Update: Okay! So Sinead, we'll be driving in to town on the Sunday. If anyone thinks they might need a ride getting from Providence to Sinead's town that evening, feel free to email me and we can try to work out a plan. :D

BTW, Is anyone else leaving on the 5th?

The BotCon site was updated today. They basically said that they don't have the brochure completely ready yet, but there will be pre-convention tours on Wednesday and Thursday, customizing classes on Thursday, and everything will be over at 3:30 on Sunday.

The customizing classes tend to fill up fast, so if you're interested, now's the time to sign up.

What Spec said. From what I heard the customizing class was totally awesome last year though so if you have the time and the exta money for the class it's well worth it.

My mom was thinking that the tour of Newport sounded like fun, does anyone else want to go?

Mom: looking forward to meeting everyone!

*waves to Nurann's Mom* I'm so glad to be able to meet you both this year! I can't wait for everyone to be getting back together in June/July!

Uhm . . . *thinks* I had more Botcon news, but I can't remember it. Darn. I'm sorry. I'll write it down next time it hits me.

Hi there ho there fellow BWinters,

Looks to me like I'm going, unless something horrible draws plans to a screeching halt. Still gotta find a plane, but I'm holding out til I know about Botcon packages cuz my money is reeeeeeaaallly tight. I'm nervous about getting things right but it should work out so long as I keep getting help from good friends.

And my mother doesn't spazz on me for entertaining the whole idea of it all. >_>

Anyhow, Primus willing, I'll see ya'll there!

Botcon registration forms are UP, peoples! Go to botcon.com and get your form in ASAP!

Highlights--
- Convention boxset will be the completion of the Classics Seekers. This likely will be the MOST HIGHLY sought after set of Botcon exclusives EVER, peoples. If you can possibly afford the $279 it takes for the Primus package do so-- you will get a LOT of money back for those if you sell them.
- ADVANCE MOVIE SCREENING. 'Nuff said.
- Hasbro tour-- and it's free! However, it's only guaranteed if you're one of the first 400 to sign up for it-- the others who sign up between now and June 1st will enter a raffle for the remaining 100 seats.
- David Kaye will be a guest this year!
- Target partnered with Botcon this year and is offering a special package to attendees-- a special Target-TF comic book, a folder and a Target gift card.

Actually, unless you're a member of the club, packages are $329. But it's stlil worth it, and if you want to sell the figures (which I might), you can probably make your money back. I saw pre-BW Megs and Waspy go for over $400 on ebay.

...I lack a stamp and an envelope. D:

You can fax 'em, you know. That's what I'm doing soon.

Oh yeah, forgot about the whole "non-member" thing. Honestly though, if you live in the U.S. and plan on getting a Primus package you should join the Collectors' Club regardless if you're interested in the Club stuff-- basically because the club costs $40 to join, and you save $50 on a Primus package.

*is assailed by Beastbot's logic*

I'm currently in the process of locating a fax machine, but I'll probably wait a few hours for communication's sake.

Also, DAVID KAYE.

I just sent mine in-- rejected it the first few times, but it accepted it the third time, and it should only get easier to fax it in from here on out. Shouldn't be too much trouble.
