Did you ask Borders if they would consider ordering the comics?
While I like the fact that they're finishing the series through comics I'm also a little uneasy about it for three reasons:
1: I'd like to hear them talking and the action and a comic could take that part away from me.
2: There's never any information (outside of the states) as to where and how we can get our hands on the comic.
and 3: Do they EVER finish a TF comic series? (my big concern)

I could but they'd probably look at me funny.
Wait, didn't they finish the Armada comic book series? I know they didn't finish the Energon one because the company doing it went bankrupt or something.

You could have just worded it wrong, but just in case-- this is NOT definite. They COULD be finishing the series through comics. It's in the prelimiary talking stage now, nothing concrete's been set (and even it is, that's still no guarantee, as "The 13" miniseries was set and has now been canned).Wicked Woman wrote:While I like the fact that they're finishing the series through comics I'm also a little uneasy about it for three reasons
Yeah, but that also requires a LOT more money than a comic. Hasbro is focusing on ROTF and then whatever the series after that is going to be. For what is now a dead series, quite frankly we should be glad for any sort of official conclusion at all. (I'm also ecstatic they're releasing the rest of the ENTIRE planned Animated toyline at some point, I had figured except for a few molds that had already reached the painted prototype stage we weren't going to see anything more in that respect.)1: I'd like to hear them talking and the action and a comic could take that part away from me.
If you guys look hard enough, I'm sure you can find something. Plenty of sites sell comics that are willing to ship internationally.2: There's never any information (outside of the states) as to where and how we can get our hands on the comic.
In their "main" IDW G1 continuty, when it comes to the overall fiction? No, because then they'd have no main continuity to draw readers to. However, they've finished any of "alt universe" miniseries, such as Hearts of Steel. If you create a miniseries with the express purpose of giving a more satisfying conclusion to Animated, I can imagine you'll see it end definitively.and 3: Do they EVER finish a TF comic series? beastbot is mostly got the right of it.
1. Well most of us would prefer a tv show, but have some hope that Aaron Archer et al has said that they see animated as the standard for TF shows at this point or some such similar language, heavily implying that they want to continue a show with good characterization and humor and all the other things that make animated awesome.
2. IDW is almost the #3 comic distributor if you find a comic store in your area chances are that they will have the TF books. Also check Amazon, Buy.com, etc they should ship to most countries.
3. Disregarding the flop of Dreamwave, IDW has finished every mini-series so far. All of their G1 stuff feeds into new stories, but well that's kind of the point of continuity. It seems quite likely that if they do any sort of Animated comic it will have an end of the story arc. It might not answer everything in Animated but at the least it would tie up a majority of things introduced in said comic, and hopefully address various nagging problems from the show, but that doesn't always happen.

Yeah but for real transformers cybertron ahd no connections to Armada and energon. They just made it a part of the other two shows for some weird reason in the dub. I'm referring to the stupid energon series. it sucked.

Because it was supposed to be the sequel to Energon, but the Japanese writers went their own way with it for whatever reason. Hasbro always intended for Cybertron to be a continuation and marketed it as such, even going so far as to explain away some of the discrepancies (like Jetfire's accent) in the Cyber Key Code info on their website.artemis-lady-warrior wrote:Yeah but for real transformers cybertron ahd no connections to Armada and energon. I never understood why Red Alert's accent changed though...I mean it was the same actor...Beastbot wrote:Because it was supposed to be the sequel to Energon, but the Japanese writers went their own way with it for whatever reason.
