((OOC: Oh boy. I think I should warn you guys, but a hurricane is heading towards my state. Now, the forecasters are still watching it. It seems that my area isn't going to be hit that hard, but they are still tracking movements. It could change. I'm praying for it to miss us completely as well as that our power stays on. We should know by Saturday or Sunday what to expect. ))
Whitegrazer understood Rattrap's skepticism, but she hoped that the Vok would muse over what they gathered from her. Especially, with the virus they were fighting. She wondered what would happen if Rhinox and Aurora found a cure. If they did, it could be a good stepping block in softening them up. After all, she had no doubt in her mind that she would willing give them the cure, with Optimus' blessing."Yeah right," "I'll leave dat kinda optimism up ta you and the Boss Monkey."
"Well, don't worry, I will keep it a brief lesson," she said, grinning, but that grin changed to a more sorrowful look, "It was the last battle before the Tripredicus Council finally ordered all the Predacons to drop their arms against us and signed the Pax Cybertronia. I was there. The fighting was brutal, and both sides were losing bots. Adding to that fact that we were trying to protect one of the our biggest factories where the protoforms were stored. My true origins remained a secret to the Predacons. They didn't know. They just thought I was just a freakish Maximal. And I was... a different being there." She stared at her spark before she continued. "I don't know. I was so focused on the battle I didn't sense what happened until I felt it. A Tripredicus Council Agent slipped inside the factory and blew it up. I felt the cries of the protoforms and I... retaliated. I was the only one still standing." She shook her head and let Rattrap process what she just implied there. "My mission was complete. Yet, I failed.""Eh, I ain't a historian,"
"Maybe not, but doesn't change the fact that I was involved. At least with the experiments that Nemesis and Zodiac and countless other bots were forced into." She sighed softly, "This type of thinking can drive a person mad, can't it? I guess... I just want to make sure I get it right this time." she wanted to know if she was doing the right thing now. Would this time be different? She prayed so. "And I hope that the Vok can take that into account as well.""Look, 'Grazer, not everythin' is yer fault. You gotta stop takin' the blame fer others' actions. These things coulda happened with or without yer involvement. Sooner or later, they start messin' around with tech that dey shouldn't be because somehow they acquire it one way or another. Trust me, I know how the black market works on Cybertron. It takes corrupted minds with filthy hands. And even if it was you, you can't speak for the others who coulda just as easily walked away from the questionable projects. That's on them, includin' Optimus. Let 'im own his mistakes. At least he's learnin' from 'em and actually advocating against future circumstances,"
Whitegrazer just laughed, "I think the CR chamber would just have to take care of the rest. Just like that shot you took there." She pointed at the blackened spot around Rattrap's stomach area. "And thank you." She said in gratitude for him nursing her wounds as well as listening to her."What de heck are we gonna do with yer spark like dis?"
Whitegrazer stood up slowly and dropped down, "Thank you for the lift, Landslide." She was worried about Optimus and Banshee. she could open the link, but she didn't want to overwhelm Optimus with feeling her wounds. By the time she got repaired, Optimus and others would be back already."Coming in for a landing" "I'll take care of loading Starshadow and go back to get the others. You two just heal up."
"No one has found my weakness," X said undeterred. Whatever plan tthis Megatron had, X didn;t believe it for one second could do him any harm. "One person thought cutting my head off would work. But I think that only works for organics.""Because Megatron is guaranteed to take advantage of it. I don't know how, but he obviously appeared with a plan. And since he wasn't able to implement it, that still leaves us in the dark. Whatever it is, it will be for his own interest and not yours,"
X wanted to ask about his dear old friend, but it really didn't matter now, did it? He knew he would come to him eventually. He always came."Tell me more about this Megatron." He chuckled. "Irony, again, an Optimus and a Megatron fighting against each other. Life is funny, isn't it?" He felt...something. He looked around, seeing nothing until he looked up to see a flying cat? Life was funny. "Is he one of yours or one of his?" X said, pointing upwards."What is it you wish to discuss, X? Hm? You want to talk so talk."
