After a couple minutes Wintersong arrived to the halls where the quarters lied, having indicated some other places along the way. "Well these halls lead to the quarters and some of them should still be vacant but other then that your welcome to decorate it, make yourself at home."She told Silverstreak with a smile,"Besides that there's not much else to show but your more then welcome to explore for a bit and I'll let you settle in." Letting the silver fox go to settle in, which the tigress didn't think it would take that long considering how eager she seemed to get to know the others, she headed back to the bridge and came in as the others were now waiting for those at the alien site to return. Though she noticed Ironclaw seemed distressed about something and Starshadow was out of the CR chamber at last.

"Well Star to answer your question that runt is a new teammate, her name is Silverstreak and quite frankly I think this place could use some good news after everything that has been going on. Not that you'd be concerned about it."Wintersong said, still having a neutral attitude towards the panther for the time being and moved towards the badger when he seemed in such a state."Ironclaw something wrong? You seemed fine not too long ago."She asked with some concern.

Watching as the Maximals went inside the alien structure Megatron began to look at it from the outside, still finding it disappointing he had gotten here too late to try for anything that might have given him more secrets to the Vok's power. None the less he hoped perhaps inside the Maximals would suffer even more and maybe be destroyed in the process, leaving only a few handful for them to finish off and at last win the Beast Wars, after that the Predacons could focus on what Megatron had come here to truly accomplish from the very beginning. Yet every time he had tried to achieve his ultimate goal the pesky Maximals had stopped his plans at every turn and the aliens had begun to even become an interference up until now, now they just might have been one of his best assets next to the treacherous Tarantulas. Oh yes, one way or another victory would be his no matter what it took.

After a time he began to hear movement once more at the opening made by Scorponok's toxic spike, seeing the Maximals begin to emerge once more but the sudden sound of Primal's agonized cries made him grin,"Ah if only I could have that sound to lull me to sleep at night..."He said in a wishful tone before he at last turned to Scorponok,"And we shall do what we do best Scorponok,"He said before he transformed without saying the command and aiming his t-rex head that held his fusion cannon towards the Maximals once they were out, powering it to fire.

Onyx pushed himself up carefully, shaking his head from the sudden blow that made him briefly see flying stars and his vision blurred for a short couple of seconds before he finally could focus again. The stallion was really beginning to question his judgement of Megatron already, even if it had been a short time period he had been among the crew of Predacons and greatly wondering if he had made a decision that could cost him his life. This was especially on his mind since Onyx had long since lost the need for violence all the time, instead he only sought it when necessary or when provoked and right there he hadn't seen what was wrong in voicing what he was feeling but it seemed Megatron didn't take lightly to hearing from his subordinates. I need to watch what I say and do from now on, he thought with a sigh as he was quick to recover from being knocked over and could only watch as the Maximals were the only ones to enter the structure, making Onyx wonder why Megatron didn't follow when he had seemed in such a hurry to get there.

Though perhaps his plans had once again been stopped with the Maximals being there first? It seemed likely and the only real logical reason, but for now he could only wait and watch, seeing the structure begin to close up which made the stallion nervous. No sooner had he thought that they wouldn't get out did the four Maximals do so, but the reason for only four of them was soon known when Optimus' cries sounded from inside which Onyx cringed a bit at the sound and how Megatron seemed to find satisfaction in knowing his nemesis was being likely tortured inside. Were the aliens really wanting to rid of them? Or was this just another test of their's? The black equine though could see he might not get his answer as Megatron and Scorponok were quick to take action against the Predacons but this time he was a little hesitant.

============================

SIlverstreak followed Wintersong for those few minutes, taking in everything they passed and every word the tigress said before they arrived to the halls lined with quarters and from the looks of things several of them were occupied as it was. "No problem Wintersong, I'll find one no sweat and thanks."She said watching the taller femme leave before going to work in finding one for herself which she did in no time, stepping inside for a moment to see how it looked and could see what Wintersong had meant by decorating it. For the most part it was bare except for the recharge bed, a desk, monitor, and shelves. "Oh I'll definitely be giving this place a make over, but for now I think I'll see what's happening at the bridge."She said to herself making sure to put in a personal code for her new quarters before sprinting back towards the bridge, not wanting to miss a single thing.

Ironclaw ignored what Starshadow was saying but turned to see Wintersong which provided him with some comfort. However he still couldn't shake off the fact that Aurora had gone. She asked and he would easily answer, he trusted her. "Aurora, she's missing. Nobody knows where she is" he exclaimed. He kept shaking his head in dismay. He then frantically turned away from Wintersong and headed towards the lift. His hand came up and slammed the top edge of the lift, forcing himself to stop. He knew Frilla was rIght, there wasn't much he could do. Tigertron was best suited on this one. It still didn't feel rIght to just do nothing. He brought his other hand to his face and rested it, unsure what to do or think.

Nemesis watched in amusement as the Maximals entered the gaping hole left in the side of the mushroom, in a desperate attempt to rescue their team mates. It seemed like a foolish choice given the recent interactions they had with these aliens. Yet borderline insane as the actions of the Maximals were at this moment, it would prove to be Primal's choice to stay behind in there that would surprise her the most.

Albeit remaining on the outside of the alien construct, the avian female did move closer so that she might see what was going on. She could hear voices inside, both those of the Maximals as well as some incomprehensible noises she could only assume were created by the construct itself or whoever built it. Before long she could also hear a voice screaming, recognizing it as the Maximal commander's. Either he had been prevented from leaving or he had chosen to stay willingly while his comrades were being pulled to safety.

The Predacon took the chance of converting to robot form at this time, having heard Megatron's and Scorponok's brief comments in the background, while waiting for the other Maximals to emerge from the opening. Primal himself appeared to have met his fate inside, a fact she found both alluring and disappointing at the same time.

Nemesis' opinion of the Maximal leader, although one she would never share with anyone, was a strange mixture of hate and respect. During their lengthy discussion at the time she was held captive, she had opened up to Optimus about her past. It was a gesture she both regretted and enjoyed at the same time, never being one to expose herself like that to anyone, yet at a vulnerable moment she had done so regardless. And to him of all.. It shamed her that she'd been reduced to that level. But if Primal died in there, now, her secret would be safe. On the other hand she actually believed him when he swore never to share her past with anyone and Primal seemed like the type to hold up to such a promise. Even after what she had done.

Starshadow just shrugged at that. The runt looked like Snowtrix's good side.
"Ironclaw something wrong? You seemed fine not too long ago."
"Aurora, she's missing. Nobody knows where she is"
"Awww do you need toys to coax her to come back?" she said it in a sacarstic manner as she batted her optics, "pretty puffball doesn't need a babysitter if she just leaves like that. You maximals need to let your kiddies run around in the wilds to learn to fend for themselves.."

Cecaelia would've smiled like a cat if she were in robot mode when he patted her mantle.

She let out a sharp sigh, showing her disgust at this black widow's actions. She was weak. Letting her problems get in the way of intelligence, control her, and now, she will be controlled by Tarantulas when she realizes or not. And if Arachnitron finally realizes that? She will either be trapped or it would be too late. Pathetic.

"Not foolishness, little widow. It's called survival."

She tossed the transwarp cell for Arachnitron to have then waved her pincer with a smirk, "I left a little gift on it..."

"That is an explosive I designed for a special occasion. You see, little widow, Tarantulas isn't the only who is crafty. Want to guess what the explosive does?"

She cackled with laughter, "I give you a hint: don't try to remove it. It will explode. Maybe we should wait for Tarantulas to arrive? He will know." She winked, cackling more.

"Indeed I do" Tarantulas replied coldly as he finally arrived after having vanished into the flickering shadows of the burning woods, appearing like a ghost right behind Blackarachnia before smacking her across the side of her head with one of his pincers, sending her falling into the dirt from the surprise attack.

"I KNOW that you are a suicidal fool who's too stupid to follow the simplest of orders even if her own LIFE depends on it. This isn't another one of your silly little power plays for Megatron's irrelevant throne, Blackarachnia, this is the END OF THIS WORLD, I LITERALLY HAVE NO TIME FOR YOUR SELF-RIGHTEOUS NONSENSE!" he menaced, his inner psycho shining through as he viciously kicked her in the gut several times before finally storming over to Arachnitron to snatch the Transwarp cell from her grasp.

He silently examined the device Blackarachnia had attached to his last hope of escape for several cycles before wordlessly turning his gaze back to his treacherous creation, a reflection of the forest fire appearing in his optic visor as he glared at her for what seemed like an eternity.

Tarantulas hated no one in the entire universe more than he hated Blackarachnia at that very moment, his one free pincer snapping shut like a guillotine as he leveled his machine gun turrets at her and lethally whispered "Remove it, NOW."

"That's not how we work here Starshadow,"Frilla said as she listened to them from where she sat and turned in her chair as she stood, crossing her arms as she gave a glare towards the panther."We actually care for what happens to our own, unlike the Predacons if something is wrong with a teammate we try and help if they want it not just leave them to suffer. You don't like get your furry skid plate off this ship and go back to the Preds where toy belong!"She said in a low hiss before looking towards Wintersong and Ironclaw."And Ironclaw you need to relax, she will be back. Like I said she may need time to gather her thoughts and Tigatron is getting her back here but if you need something to occupy your mind come help with monitor duty until the others return."She told the badger, trying to not be harsh in her tone but knew they had to try and do something while they waited.

Sighing the frilled lizard turned away and went back to monitoring for the others, hoping that they would return safely.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I guess you have a point,"Feralnight replied to Dinobot, not having really thought about it before but had no doubts Megatron wouldn't be trying to find some way to keep his other troops in line. Especially new ones that had arrived now or would arrive in the coming future. That's if they had a future due to the return of the aliens all of a sudden, which normally resulted in something happening and how bad this would get was still a mystery save for those who were at the site itself. "Guess I haven't been thinking in my right state of mind lately,"She muttered as they walked.
"There's that," Steelclaw replied to everything Cecealia had mentioned, "but for our side, the crazies are..."
He chuckled. "Well, maybe I should just give you the list of those who aren't. Uh... no, seriously, there's a panther--Starshadow--to watch out for, a bat named Sonar--and I have no idea where he's disappeared to as of late, a spider name Tarantulas... and Blackarachnia isn't too much better. And me; well, I'm the worst."
Cheetor looked worried when Whitegrazer pulled herself to her feet, but he smiled when she stamped a hoof in defiance and started walking.
"Come, let's get--"
Cheetor was cut off by Optimus' screaming. On instinct, he turned around.
"Big 'Bot!" He didn't want to leave.
Isn't death preferable than living as a disposable slave? Though, it seems you are going to learn that the hard way."
Arachnitron thought about "the others," her alter egos. She still thought of them as actual beings separate from herself. She suddenly wasn't sure if they were really separate from herself or if they were just feelings and emotions that she was so unfamiliar with that they felt as though they were coming from someone else. Now that they were gone, she wasn't sure if they ever existed. She sighed in frustration. She could tell by the look of disgust on Blackarachnia's face that she didn't truly understand the choices. She probably never would. There is no way any one else could ever understand the torment of carrying more than one personality inside of one mind. It was easy to understand the frustration of the Maximal and the Predacon. The Predacon and the Maximal both had their differing opinions and ideas about what their life should be like. They were merely thrust upon each other, forced to share the same body. Almost as though two bots who didn't get along are sometimes forced to share the same room. Everyone knows what that was like.
The Hybrid's plight was different. The Hybrid was imprisoned. Neither the Predacon nor the Maximal ever asked her opinion on anything. They always...."advised"....her about what should be done. Almost as though she was neither Predacon nor Maximal; and thus, she had to be "taught" how to be one or the other. The truth of the matter is....she was both. But they didn't see it that way. They told her what to do, told her what to think and if she didn't do their bidding, she was tortured. Yes, she was a slave to Tarantulas, but hadn't she always been a slave?
"I am a slave now and I've always been a slave," she muttered to herself almost as though she were answering her own question. "It's all I've ever known."
Arachnitron's expression grew somber as she stared back at Blackarachnia. "My choices were to serve Tarantulas....or the voices in my head. Their existence alone caused me excruciating pain and their voices kept me in a state of constant anguish. You have no idea what that feels like. My only logical choice was to eliminate the voices."
As she thought about it she realized that death was never an option to her. When it was clear on Cybertron that the Predacon scientists aimed to remove her spark, the Predacon programming could have accepted that if she wanted, but she didn't. Or more accurately, she wouldn't. She made that perfectly clear to the Maximal and Hybrid. The Maximal wasn't afraid to die for the right cause. The Hybrid was never offered the choice. She didn't want to die now, though. Did she want to die then? If the voices were still in her mind driving her to madness, would death be preferable to that? She wasn't sure how she felt about that, but she was pretty positive that the other two personalities would have made sure that did not happen. Ever.
Blackarachnia tossed the transwarp cell to Arachnitron interrupting her thoughts. She caught it carefully with both hands. She looked up as Blackarachnia spoke to her.
"Not foolishness, little widow. It's called survival.....I left a little gift on it..."
Blackarachnia smirked as Arachnitron looked down at the transwarp cell. Her expression suddenly changed. Her optics widened in shock. She gasped. She knew the other spider had tampered with the device, but she assumed she had just placed a sort of locking mechanism on it to keep it accessible only to herself. She looked up at Blackarachnia. A mixture of fear and panic mounted in Arachnitron's chest.
"What were you thinking?! You'll destroy it!" she cried.
But Blackarachnia was unphased. She cackled and gloated:
"That is an explosive I designed for a special occasion. You see, little widow, Tarantulas isn't the only one who is crafty. Want to guess what the explosive does? I'll give you a hint: don't try to remove it. It will explode. Maybe we should wait for Tarantulas to arrive? He will know." She winked, cackling more.
Arachnitron shook her head in disbelief. She was not getting blown up with this planet. She was leaving and that was final. Blackarachnia was going to fix this.
It was then that Tarantulas appeared seemingly out of nowhere behind Blackarachnia. He smacked her on the head with one of his pincers and raged at her:
"Indeed I do. I KNOW that you are a suicidal fool who's too stupid to follow the simplest of orders even if her own LIFE depends on it. This isn't another one of your silly little power plays for Megatron's irrelevant throne, Blackarachnia, this is the END OF THIS WORLD, I LITERALLY HAVE NO TIME FOR YOUR SELF-RIGHTEOUS NONSENSE!"
As he spoke he charged towards Arachnitron and grabbed the transwarp cell out of her hands. She gave it up to him without a fight observing his mania for the first time. She watched him examine the device on the transwarp cell wordlessly. He then turned his gaze to Blackarachnia. Arachnitron stood frozen next to him waiting to see what he'd do. His glare was menacing. Finally he raised his weapon and aimed for Blackarachnia.
Tarantulas hated no one in the entire universe more than he hated Blackarachnia at that very moment, his one free pincer snapping shut like a guillotine as he leveled his machine gun turrets at her and lethally whispered "Remove it, NOW!"
Arachnitron watched this all play out silently fearing that if she made a wrong move, Tarantulas' wrath would shift to her. Her weapon had been put away so she could more effectively chase Blackarachnia. She slowly pulled it out. She knew Blackarachnia was not likely to do as she was told.
(Short post incoming!)
Since our arrival on this planet, we haven't exactly been the best of tenants. These aliens have the right to expect some answers.
"Optimus... nooooo" Airazor cried out in vain as Rattrap continued to pull her out of the green mushroom. On the other side of the hole awaited the Predicons and Manterror, who had his claws poised and ready. He would shoot a saw blade right threw the hole if Megatron commanded him to.
(( OOC: I've been waiting for una's post, but I'm just going to move on now since the game kind of died. una, don't forget what happened in my last post in case you want it to impact Whitegrazer in some way.
Hope you had a good vaca, Blazemane!
Also, physically, where are the spiders located right now? They need to infiltrate the Maximal base and start programming that empty stasis pod before Optimus and his team returns, which won't be much longer. ))
Once the green, translucent planes stopped traveling across his body and disappeared, Optimus laid there quietly with his eyes closed, suspended in the air, almost unconscious. Had this been what it felt like for Airazor, Whitegrazer and Cheetor when they were electricuted? Primus, the pain was nearly unbearable. Parts of Primal's body involuntarily trembled from the anguish and harm of the alien scan. He could only hope the others were far away, out of harm's way.
"Scan complete," a deep, neutral voice said in the darkness above the Maximal leader. "This is the speciman we analyzed before."
"Ugh..." Coming to and regaining his bearings, after realizing someone had spoken, the gorilla opened his eyes and looked upward into the pitch black. With the restraints still confining his movements, he decided not to try escaping now that he may be able to finally find some answers. Not to mention everything still throbbed and ached inside of his entire body after the incredibly intrusive and careless scan. "Who... are you?" he asked, the pain slowly beginning to subside.
Out of no where, yellow and gold particals began swirling and forming something very large above the Commander. After a bright flash that caused him to turn his head and close his eyes until it faded, he looked back up only to find one of the most feared and planet-sized TransFormers, or at least his head. At first glance, Optimus widened his eyes in surprise and horror. "Unicron!"
Then the levitating head of Unicron began to speak. "We have no physical form you could comprehend," it explained. "We chose this figure of authority from your data tracks."
Were these aliens really that "all-knowing" and powerful? So, technically, the Vok was't physically there. Then what did they want this time? What was their next attempt at wiping them out? "If you've scanned me, you know we did not come to this planet by choice!" Primal defended himself and his Maximals. And they called that painful procedure scanning?!
"Yet you are here," the Vok said as if nothing else mattered and anything the Maximal said would simply be disreguarded.
"We mean no harm," Optimus pleaded. "To you or this planet!"
"It is too late. You and your enemies have already contaminated the project. The harm has been done." Nothing he could say would change the Vok's mind. "That which does not become part of the One shall become void."
"No! Wait!" Primal retaliated. "We can fix whatever damage was done!"
"We are not interested. The experiment will be sterilized."
Sterilized? As in... wiped out? Destroyed and either left at nothing or to be started over? What experiment?! What exactly was it that he and Megatron and both of their factions had done that couldn't be reversed?! Growing angry and intolerant of this decision, the Maximal leader said, "You can't do that! There are living creatures here! You with all your power... Even you have no right!" Why was it so difficult and impossible to reason with these beings?! What gave them the right or the desire to destroy the entire planet, along with all of its inhabitants and the Maximals and Predacons?! Now the magnitude of the situation was beginning to settle in and suddenly their future looked very insignficant and bleak. He had to do something! Do what? Anything to stop them!
"We have no choice. There is more danger than you know," it said as the head began pulling away from him, higher up toward the dark ceiling.
More danger than he knew? Of what? What danger?! What was it talking about? Frustrated, worried, and scared, Optimus began squirming in the ropes that were constricting his limbs, stomach and neck, trying to work himself free.
"Begin termination sequence." It was the last thing the Vok said before Unicron's head "imploded" and vanished into thin air, leaving the Commander there alone in his bonds.
"NOOOOOO!" Primal hollered and frantically tried breaking free while the illuminated patterns on the floor below him began flashing as if they were shorting out.
(( OOC: I'll give Megatron and them a chance to duke it out before Optimus flies out of the dome. ))
-----
"Big 'Bot!"
"Optimus... nooooo"
Also hearing their leader's cry, Rattrap knew they couldn't go back. Not yet. He and Cheetor had to get these injured ladies out of there first; boss's orders. So the small, brown rat continued pulling the falcon toward the opening that was luckily still lingering open. "Optimus can handle himself," he tried assuring them. "Right now we gotta pull ya outta here ta safety." And with one more big tug, Rattrap threw himself and Airazor backwards right through the opening, landing on his back on the dirt outside of the alien mushroom as dusk was falling upon them. After catching his breath, he looked up at the Predacons...
((OOC: Yeah, I know, OOP. I looked at your post and facepalmed myself. Duh, Una, connection....pain....write it! :lol:
The spiders will now being going to the Axalon now. We got to get that stasis pod ready! :lol: ))
Whitegrazer noticed Cheetor's smile when she looked down at him. She smiled back when she bowed her head, face cringed in pain, shaking. Optimus' screams echoed towards them. Whatever the aliens were doing to Optimus, she was feeling it. What were they doing to him? For a split second, her beast mode's eyes lit green. She neighed softly. There was a sudden urge to lose control and stomp around like some crazy stallion to ride away the pain. Again, she stomped in defiance. It would have been easy to just cut off her connection to ease the pain. But inwardly, foolish or not, she didn't as she felt it was cowardly of her to cut away from teh pain. She had felt alot of pain in her life. She could take it. She had to. If she did, it would feel like she adandoned him. She never abandoned anyone she has connected with and she wasn't going to start now. Slag the pain she was feeling!
Lifting her head up, shaking it, she just kept a solemn face.
Airazor didn't want to leave Optimus and Whitegrazer didn't either, but she knew nothing bad would happen...yet.
"H-he will be fine." She strained because of the pain she was feeling in her soul...in more ways than one.
Then she shot a reassuring smile at Airazor. They were near the hole. She waited for Rattrap, Airazor and Cheetor to go in first. The hole was closing fast. They needed to get outta here.
Soon, everything was flashing and through her connection with Optimus, there was despersation, shock, and rush to escape.
That was not a good sign.
_____________________________________________________________________
Tarantulas' surprise attack threw her through a loop...literally. Her body flipped though and landed on her feet so she wouldn't hit the ground headfirst.
Blackarachnia would be furious now, but she was too happy inside to care for Tarantulas' attack. She smirked at Tarantulas' screams, going ballistic at her intereference. Well, then maybe he should have thought twice before crossing her. He knew she was as smart and crafty, better even than him.
"I am a slave now and I've always been a slave," she muttered to herself almost as though she were answering her own question. "It's all I've ever known."
Arachnitron's expression grew somber as she stared back at Blackarachnia. "My choices were to serve Tarantulas....or the voices in my head. Their existence alone caused me excruciating pain and their voices kept me in a state of constant anguish. You have no idea what that feels like. My only logical choice was to eliminate the voices."
Well, she couldn't actually say that she had what problems Arachnitron had faced. If she had other voices beside her own. That would drive her nuts, but despite that, she would have fixed the problem herself, not let some lunatic inside her mind. Leaving herself vulnerable to crontrol or somethig else...never.
She was silent before she spoke.
"Well, I can't take it off now. What's done is done?" She winked, "The explosive can only be taken off if you guys can figure it out. But I doubt you want to waste time, trying to. I mean how much time have we wasted chasing each other around."
Something in her words were right. She felt time was at the essence now.
"We need to get into the Axalon. The Maximals have intact stasis pods. Arachnitron's pod is too damaged." She was walked towards the direction of the Maximal base, "I know how to breach their shields."
"Well, fellow spiders?" She turned around still walking with no care in teh world, "You two better follow me as that explosive..."
There was a clicking sound, "is hardwired to me so if you guys don't want to explode, stay close to me. I know you would love that, Tarantulas."
She chuckled softly.
Though a little surprised by the frilled lizard's sudden harsh tone Wintersong just gave a low growl at Starshadow,"Just back off panther, or you won't have to be worrying about going anywhere."Turning her back to the panther and forcing herself not to lung at her, like many times they had done in the months past, the white tigress rested a hand on Ironclaw's shoulder in silent reassurance before heading to the monitors and sat in another chair to help keep track of things. So far there wasn't much else they could do besides wait and listen, which normally made many of them edgy and with what was going on so far they seemed to have a good reason to be.
