The next series after the movie is not related to Animated in any way, shape, or form (and that's all I know). Sorry.

Oh good. I didn't really want them to make a season 4. Maybe they'll just like leave all the unanswered questions up to the fans to figure out. It leaves a LOT of room for ideas. Including a little resurrection. Bwahahhaa.

stop looking at me like that Prowl.

Prowl: .............

Aww...well I need an actual conclusion to the Animated Series...whether it be Comic or from the Japanese.

Yeah, I wanna cry everytime I think of Prowl's last smile, but yeah it would had been a good finale if there still weren't any loose ends.

maybe they'll make comics that tie up the loose ends. I'm sorry if my sig (if that's what you're refering to) makes you cry but that smile is just too CUTE, even if it's the last expression he ever made.

If after that movie, are indeed plans for a new series, i'm realy interested in it.
It would be neet if they can either come up with something original, or use something like G1 and continue it or something.
Though, thats unlikely.

But before that........i cant wait for Transformers: The Revenge of the Fallen.

Trust me, I really REALLY want an epilogue/conclusion too, but it seems increasingly unlikely. We'll know for sure by the end of Botcon, BUT:

-Direct-to-DVD-- All remaining Animated toys have been cancelled (likely because of retailers not wanting them and wanting ROTF instead), Hasbro has signed onto a new channel with Discovery Kids that will be in direct competition with Cartoon Network come the latter half of 2010. Considering CN has partial rights to Animated, this seems unlikely without any product on the shelves and CN and Hasbro not exactly on the best of terms anymore.
-Comic-- The first Animated comic series didn't do that well sales-wise.
-Japanese-- They normally wait until American series reach 52 episodes before they bring them over there (Beast Machines was an exception because it was a continuation of Beast Wars). Animated did not reach that many episodes.

For me... biggest dissappointment of finales. Everyone is right, there were far too many loose ends. The Dinobots, the Constructicons, Waspinator, Blackarachnia (the whole Elita One plot), Sentinal's reign of terror...Blurr... What HAPPENED?!?!

They'd better not parade Prowl's corpse around. I don't think he'd want that. It would seem disrespectful.
Arcee: Well hello there young bots :D
Kids: Hiya Arcee!!!
Arcee: Now today we will learn that sacrificing your spark is a noble thing, and to prove that I have 2 guests today *opens a cupboard* Prowl and Yoketron!!!
(2 greyed corpses fal forward)
Kids: AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Arcee: Alright then...who wants to touch em!!!!! :D
Leave it to Aesir to make fun of it. XD ROTF. Good on ya for making my day. :D

Venatrix wrote:Next up: Beast Wars Animated ? ^^

Optimus Prime is sent on a mission to recapture the escaped Megatron, and ends up on prehistoric earth, where Black Arachnia and Waspinator already rule the planet.

We all seen Rattrap a while back, so it is a possibility ^^
*Sigh* I wish. Beastbot you're gonna have to keep us posted on the next TF series... even though I WISH it'd be Beast Wars Animated.

I think I'll rewatch season 1. Things felt a little different then than they do now.
After doing some thinking season 3 seems a little fragmented. As if it was missing a lot of pieces.

that's cos there was meant to be another series after this one, and they didn't alter the endings

Think of it this way:
Since there's so many loose ends, this gives us a chance of a new series to continue it, maybe in the future
