"OC Episode #5"

[New Moon]

Frilla nodded quickly at Tigatron her attention going to Manterror as he flew from the pit and she was surprised by the sudden volley of razor blades. Whitegrazer took care of one and Frilla used her pellet gun as a shield to stop one other that embedded itself into her weapon. "That will be a pain." She said to herself but gasped when seeing Airazor tackling Manterror and the two disappearing into the forest."Airazor!" That was a hard fall and if the falcon got up from that, hopefully she would.

[Optimal Optimus Primal]

"Yup you could say if we were being chased and shot at you might want to hang on tight then."

"Yeah, thanks for the advice," Rattrap returned with more sarcasm. "You know, I fell off of Optimus once when we were under attack in mid air an' thought I was gonna die until I kicked Terrorsaur's featherless butt while free-fallin'. Never forgave the monkey for that! Just sayin'," the rat grinned teasingly.

"Yea during the small alliance against Primal's clone she turned against me and shot me in the back. Typical Predacon attack which isn't surprising. Seen it plenty of times with my old gang since they..."

"Yep! Typical cowardly Predacon att-" Rattrao began until his thoughts rewound to what he last heard her say. "Wait. Eh? Gang? You were in a gang, Feralnight? Dis I gotta hear!" he said, curious and encouraging her to elaborate on this new development.

"AHHHAHAHA!! THE CLEVER MANTIS RISES AGAIN! PREPARE TO BE DISMEMBERED!"

Just when they thought Whitegrazer had taken Manterror down, he quickly sprang back and immediately began attacking almost everyone at once. Tigatron, taking his attention of the frilled lizard, applied some pressure with his index finger to his gun, nearly firing it until both Whitegrazer and Airazor intervened. They certainly were quick to react.

"That will be a pain."

Since the other two females had stopped most of the blades, the taller Maximal next to Frilla watched the razor sharp disk escape and penetrate staight into her pellet gun. "Impressive block," Tigatron complimented her. "Perhaps you should always carry a sheild with you as well."

"YOU CANNOT RESIST LOSING LIMBS MAXIMALS! GIVE IN TO ME -- huh?

"Airazor!"

"Airazor!"

Just as the others had screamed her name, Tigatron watched Airazor plow herself right into Manterror. Airazor! he thought to himself, greatly concerned now for her well being. He couldn't see her. He didn't have a visual on either her or Manterror. On instinct and impulse, he almost sprinted after them but then he caught himself. He had to remain there with Optimus and guard him. Tigatron knew Airazor was tough and could handle herself, and reminding himself this gave him some relief. Still, he wanted to be by her side and protect her. "Hurry after them!" he hollered to Frilla and Whitegrazer, volunteering himself to remain by their leader's side.

[Wintersong]

"That's about all we can do Cheetor, beast mode." Wintersong transformed and began to pace back and forth near ORcanier and the two mechs, ears going back though when she heard the crash. Had the others run into trouble? "That can't be good.."She said looking concerned but there was little that they could do without risking the chance of an unexpected attack. Hopefully it was nothing to be too concerned about but it sounded like whatever had occurred wasn't going well or it just had been something else. "I hope Feralnight and Rattrap hurry, we're exposed out here."She said looking around the battle field.

"Ugh..."

After what felt like an eternity, the Maximal finally moved. Slowly, she rose from the ground into a sitting position, making sure to take a quick note of where her adversary was. Manterror however, seemed to still be knocked out. Either that, or he was doing a very good job at faking the condition - you just never could be sure with Predicons, especially this one. Still, he was of no immediate threat and Airazor decided to simply keep a close watch on him.

Luckily, she hadn't sustained any major injuries, although she had a few scratches and bruises which hurt like slag, but weren't really anything dangerous. Besides that, she was suffering from a very bad headache. Lowing her head slightly, she raised both of her hands and placed them on her temples. With a quick glance at Manterror, she closed her eyes and rubbed slowly. The pain seemed to die down slightly from the massage. It felt good, but she knew the moment she stopped rubbing the pain would likely return. "Perhaps this wasn't the best idea I've ever had. At least it stopped..." She said to herself as she opened her eyes again. In that short period of time the Mantis had somehow escaped. "Manterror?"

Luckily, Whitegrazer and Frilla had shown up a few seconds later. "Hey." She greeted them in a non-energetic manner. Her headache had returned again. She was also a bit disappointed to see that a certain cat hadn't joined them. "Where's Tigatron?" She asked almost immediately. She would have thought that he would have wanted to be sure she was ok from the crash, but instead he stayed likely with Optimus. While she couldn't necessarily argue with the decision, she was still a bit disappointed.



Manterror had activated his Stealth-mode just in time. The other two Maximal's had arrived to check-up on their comrade and he was able to evade them before they were able to catch sight of him. This meant he would have short time to get to Optimus - who was now only guarded by Tigatron. He had no plans of getting into a fight with the Maximal however, the fall had damaged him quiet badly and he was in no condition to battle. Luckily he felt almost no pain, but it was clear just from looking at the Mantis, that he was not in the best condition.

Moving as fast as possible, the Mantis quickly reached Tigatron thanks to his impressive speed. With his Stealth-mode still activated, he snuck up behind the Maximal and gave him a hard hit to the back of the head with the side of his claw. It stunned the cat enough for Manterror to turn his attention to Optimus Primal and grab him with both hands. He then ran as fast as he could. If the Maximal's caught up to him, he would be dead meat for sure!

[New Moon]

Frilla nodded at Tigatron as she hurried with Whitegrazer to see if the peregrine falcon was harmed or Manterror as well, though it seemed as they arrived Manterror was already gone. "He's back with Optimus." She replied though glanced back to where the mantis had likely been, wondering if he had retreated but TIgatron was left alone with Optimus so unless..."I don't think he left! MAnterror is going after Optimus!" The frilled lizard exclaimed. The bug was persistent and she doubted a hard head like him would give up that easily,"You two check on Tigatron." She said and transformed, quickly trying to follow the faint scent since Manterror did have surprising speed it barely left much of scent trail to follow.

Flicking her tail she peeked through some bushes, seeing Tigatron unconscious though Optimus was gone. 'He might be slowed down.' She thought before seeing some drag marks and quickly got up on her back legs and took off running in bipedal fashion instead of four legs,"Hey manterror! You cowardly insect come back and fight like a mech!" She called knowing he couldn't be too far hopefully. She though suspected he was in stealth form and would be ahrd to find, but she went on scent alone as she ran, following the predacon the best she could. Though quite honestly she wish she did have a sheild like TIgatron had commented on earlier, perhaps having one might not be a bad idea.

Feralnight laughed at Rattrap's teasing, she could only imagine how that fight went down with Terrorsaur but certainly quick thinking on Rattrap's part. If not then wlel he really would have been dead. Though as Rattrap became curious and encouraged her to elaborate her laughing ceased, hesitating to reveal much of her past since it was something she didn't think would go well with many. "Let's just say I was young and in need of getting away from a 'rich' life Rattrap, just got mixed up in a bad crowd." She said simply and in a dismissive tone, a sign she wasn't going to say much else on the matter. Not yet at least.

Though it wasn't long before she arrived at the Axalon anyway and flapped her wings,"Hold on." She warned before folding in her wings slightly and did a nose dive towards the ship, eyes narrowed a bit as she waited and flared out her wings once more, flapping them faster to slow down and land safely. "Still got your lunch?"She asked in a tease and crouched a bit to let him off.

She felt something was wrong when Airazor was alone but she was glad that Airazor was okay.

Seeing Manterror snatching Optimus made her fluids inside boil a bit. Poor Optimus was unconscious, unaware of the danger he was in and she would be very disappointed if either of them bought him more harm. She was behind Frilla with a flash of determination with a hint of frustration and anger, feelings she knew she shouldn't have clouding her judgement but for some odd reason, she just couldn't let it go. No time to analyze her feelings, though, so she quickly rid herself of those negative emtions. She kept going, closed her optics and blocked out everything except the nature around her. She threw her gun away and kept her optics closed, hearing nothing but the disturbance of her feet, Frilla's and Manterror's on the ground. Her spark's beatings became muffled, concenstrating on the beats on the ground. Chirps and whistling from the birds, the slight hissing from the snakes indigenous to the region, and everything that the forest spoke said volumes to her. Her direction had changed, eyes wide open as she climbed a tree that had a firm vine. She hoped it could handle her. Optimus, when in his beast mode, always seemed to swing on these so if they can handle him, they can handle her. Though, she wasn't a gorilla. Problem was Manterror was in his stealth mode. She pulled on the vine and hung on it for a bit to test it. Yes, it can handle her. Good old nature. Closing her optics, she listened to the nature around her, focusing on the beats again. Technology was never perfect. Manterror can still be heard and smelt. Frilla was relying on scent. She was relying on the footsteps on the grass and dirt. A deep breath escaped her and she swung down to the ground, hearing the wind gushing passed her auditory sensors. It was cool and refreshing yet very exhilrating that if this wasn't a serious situation, she would have giggled. No wonder Optimus did this. It was fun. She switched positions swiftly, hands hanging down ready to grab and her legs the only thing keeping her from falling on the ground. Nope, it wasn't Manterror she was aiming for though. Her target was Optimus. Her hands grabbed Optimus, wrapping him tightly, not wanting to let go.

She did this all with her optics closed.

A giggle escaped her as she flipped to land safely on a tree branch.

(( OOC: Normally, I would make a big stink about what you did with Manterror, WorpeX, and not giving me the opportunity with Tigatron to react to his attack because I think he'd have been on full alert and would've noticed him, but I like that someone actually took advantage of the situation and tried kidnapping OP. Much like Cecaelia and Starshadow did. So I'm going to play along. And poor Airazor. I feel bad that I left Tigatron behind wth OP and not rushing to her instead. Just thought he had better firepower out ofthe three Maximals to protect him.

Also, sorry for the late reply. Been busy!

As eager as Tigatron was to hurry to Airazor, he felt that his duty was to remain by the Maximal leader's side. She would be all right, especially with both Frilla and Whitegrazer assissting her. No doubt the peregrine's tackle took him down.

Then, seemingly out of no where, the taller white cat felt a hard hit to the back of his head. Without even knowing who his attacker was or what had just happened, he fell forward as everything turned black, landing on his chest and dropping his gun. Tigatron was unconscious and Optimus was left vulnerable to the world around him with no one to protect him.

While Primal's body was passed around like a hot potato, he remained unconscious through everything until he fnally landed back into the white mare's arms. Groggy, and a little incoherent, his eyes opened and adjusted to focus on her face. "...Whitegrazer...?" he asked in a quiet voice. Perhaps it was the positive energy that she gave off so tramendously that awoke him suddenly, despite the condition of his body. Or the concern and protectiveness she carried for him. Or just his spark being closer to hers. Whatever the reason, the "boost" of energ would not last very long.

Oh how the brown rat wanted to learn more about this and pry, but Feralnight was saved by the Axalon. It didn't sound like she wanted to talk about it and was regretting having it let slip, but when did that ever stop Rattrap from finding out more? Nevertheless, she would probably trust Optimus with that information long before him, so now was the time to focus on getting Orcariner back to Base.

"Hold on."

Rattrap gripped her fur tighter with her warning and held on.

"Still got your lunch?"

After the Fuzor's smooth landing, the rodent climbed down from her while she crouched for him and smiled in his beast. "I may not like flying, but I don't get air sick," he told her before maximizing to his robot mode. As soon as he ordered Sentinel to stand down, Rattrap opened the hangar bay door and walked inside to the Nomad, immediately jumping inside and climbing the ladder up to the controls. Firing it up, he steered it out of the Axalon's hangar and piloted it back to the others' location with Orcariner.

(OOC: Well Manterror was in stealth mode, and I never said anything about Tigatron being knocked unconscious, that was New Moon. It was just a punch to the head used for distraction purposes only. In fact I specifically used the word 'stunned' because I didn't have any intentions of Tigatron being knocked out. Not like Manterror has had the opportunity to react to being thrown into a hole or Optimus getting yanked from his arms either. Strange that my post would be the one called out and not the rest. I really just wanted to get someone else besides Whitegrazer to do something, but it didn't seem to work out that way.)

(( OOC: You're absolutely right, WorpeX, and I apologize for not addressing that. And thank you for trying to get others involved. Between Manny and Tigs, I just didn't think any bot, in stealth mode or not, would not be able to make any kind of noise on a forest's floor (twigs snapping, brush rustling, etc.), and cats can hear better than dogs, so I thought Tigatron would be able to detect Manterror anyway. Not that it really matters now because everyone took off before I could even react with Tigatron at all. But like I said, I liked your idea of snatching OP like you did, so it didn't really bother me that much. I shouldn't have had said anything.

While it was una's choice whether or not she wanted Whitegrazer to fall into Manterror's trap (I thought it would've been more fun had she fallen and the others would have to help her get out ), I do believe after that that she made one too many moves on him before you should've been able to react with the mantis. Heck, he should've been able to fly above the hole before falling in it and then flying out.

una, I think after you do one move, you should probably wait for Manterror to react, especially when he has some "precious cargo" in his hands. For example, you had Whitegrazer come down and "tackle" Optimus out of Manterror's grasp, and then you immediately took off with him. You didn't give WorpeX a chance to block her move, or try anything on Whitegrazer before she was already out of reach. Like the choice you made with her not falling in his pit, he should have had a choice giving up OP or not before he's just automatically snatched out of his hands. He could have just as easily flown away with him if he wanted to, depending on Manterror's wounds and how much weight he could carry. I'm actually disappointed that out of all the times it could have happened, the Preds never captured Optimus and held him hostage in their base.

So can we just take our posts one step at a time? There are too many things happening at all at once in each post and people aren't getting a chance to react with their characters before others are already moving on in theirs. ))

(OOC: Thanks OOP, I couldn't think of a nice way to put it, so I just didn't say anything. Although, it didn't really bother me until the most recent post. At this point, the only thing I can do with Manterror is have him walk home. Kind of a buzz-kill.

You're right about having heard twigs breaking on the forest floor as well, I hadn't thought of that. But like I said, I had wanted to get Tigatron involved in this more since hes just been standing around since Manterror arrived. I figured since Whitegrazer and Frilla would be tending to Airazor (whom they didn't really seem to care about at all. I would of thought they would have at least ASKED where Manterror had went instead of just knowing that he went to Optimus right away), I would let Tigatron save the day and make some good of him leaving Airazor alone. I hadn't intended on Tigatron turning out to look like a panzy who shoulda have just went to Airazor's side in the first place. :/ )

((OOC: Oh dear. I'm sorry. I did get too carried away there. I just had the idea of her swing in on the vine for the LOLs but as I look at my post, yeah, too many moves. Yikes. My thought processes on the post was that since Whitegrazer was a soldier, I thought maybe since Stealth shouldn't be that much of a shock that she would be able to track Manterror by the disturbances on the forest floor and using nature to help her and all that. He was invisble so I thought maybe that he still can make noises and tracks unless he can masked that too. IF he can, I'm sorry. I should have asked.

That would have have been funny if she did fall in but it was already hinted that she knew not to go in there. I mean if she went in there, she would looked like a moron then. That would have been a good laugh for Manterror. XD

For Whitegrazer always jumping to help, well...I was reacting to New Moon's post that said Tigratron was unconscious and Frilla was on Manterror's tail. Whitegrazer isn't the person to wait so she wanted to help. In her mind, she was doing what she thought was best since Op is injured and like OOP put it in her post was getting passed like a hot potato. I mean I'm only reacting to what is going on like you guys are. I'm used to writing for RPs with fighters. Like if one fighter did what Whitegrazer did, the next poster could write he or she took the elbow but dodged the flip or saw the elbow coming and counters everything and I post to react to the post the other person did and we keep bouncing back. That's how I used to writing. Someone writes the action but the other person can chose to take it or take some or dodge it all if the situation looks like they can.It just flows like a river. All depends on the type of situation. Like in my post when I wrote Whitegrazer appeared after Manterror transformed which told everyone that she got him before he charged but people wrote that he charged after she did. That would made no sense but I rolled with it. Maybe I should have said something. I have that habit. I hope you understand what I'm saying so what I'm basicially saying is that Worpex, you could have Manterror take the elbow but countered her flip or he could have saw the elbow coming and flipped her in the hole. I would have had no choice but to put her in the hole then because she expected to get it right but nope, in the hole she would go. XD Since Tigratron was unconscious from teh last post, what was I supposed to do? Have Whitegrazer stand there, just watching? Whitegrazer swinging on the vine, she could have missed or got Manterror or Frilla instead. XD That would have been funny. XD

So do you guys want to rewrite so Tigratron isn't unconscious so he could track Manterror instead or have me shorten my post to involve Whitegrazer same reaction but wait to do the vine thing later? Whatever you guys want, I will do it. My character has done alot in this episode anyway. I wouldn't mind if Tigratron or someone else. I don't want to hog. I'm not trying to. ))
