Basically they went with the objective of finding out information on Sonar, but got the bonus of information on the Maximal crew, a whole lot of music, and such. I assume the encrypted data that Steelclaw can't access might have something to do with Rampage, which is why we probably wont push to have it unencrypted (though could as the Predacons do have a data expert and hacker, and Tarantulus if Megatron is that desperate.) Maybe information on the Axalon as well. But mostly it was focused on figuring out Sonar, and to a degree Saber and Valkyrie as the Predacon crew has gained some issues with the extremely combat effective maximals.

Yeah.. well the original idea behind "make the whale float" basically came from that. I mean I'd have no problem with Icebreaker dragging him around on ice rafts, but if he goes on a mission with anybody else he's doomed. Plus I remembered what OOP said about "Robotic animals", which she's right.They don't have the exact limits of those animals. Though it does make me wonder about other aquatic animals.. but I assume most people wouldn't select those til at least season 2 anyway.. Too bad really, I'm sure Orcariner could use a rival til Rampage appears.. Like a Saltwater Crocodile,Polar Bear,Elephant, or Great white shark..

Hoo-rah! I'll go ahead and edit my profile. Orcariner is my only OC thus far, so I can go ahead an create a second one being a larger Predacon who can be his rival.

I think Megatron would have great use of an aquatic OC, considering the Axalon is right on a river. But an OC just so someone else has a rival...? Not contesting anything, I'm just offering a thought. In the future, however, Rampage arrives long before DC. So it's Ocariner and whoever else might intro themselves to the RP against Rampage (lol, either Pred or Maximal, technically). I wouldn't wanna be them. :'D

Ooh, I see. Well, the encrypted data....maybe Megatron can try to get to it, but it gets corrupted and all he knows is that the Maximals have a secret and that would be that; info he keeps to himself for later but it doesn't come to light until Bad Spark (or a combo episode again) where he realizes that that must be the data he'd lost. I'd recommend that others who have the data also lose it too and connect the dots later, just to be sure knowledge of Rampage's existence doesn't come in too early in the RP...? After all, Maximals are computer savvy, too.

Can someone please give me a BASIC run down on what we're doing for the next episode so I can get organized? I've lost track of all the hussle and bussle in these threads. I know we have the groups split up but how are we doing the episodes? One topic for Double Jeopardy and one topic for Fallen Comrades? Which groups belong to which episodes? And which characters are doing what so I dish out the orders correctly if I get a chance with Optimus.

Also, I'm going to be away from this Thursday to Sunday evening. I'll have my mini laptop but I doubt I'll be able to post for OP those four days. Do you guys want to start the new episodes today or tomorrow? Or just wait until next Monday when I can post and finish up the stuff we're doing now for this week? I know some of you, including me, are anxious to move on.

I say we start now. Optimus Primal gets taken out pretty early on, so if we move quick enough we should be able to give OOP her vacation without slowing down the RP.

As far as plot line goes, I remember I wrote a summary, but I can't remember the exact tweaks we made. I know that the Predacons, wen the groups split up, us the Transporter to get to BA's pod while the OC Maximals who get going use their own beast mode power.

Epi Summary

Two pods are detected early in the plotline. At the time Megatron sends Terrorsaur and Waspinator to take out Optimus, he also sends small team of OCs (Glowstick, Starshadow, Sonar,Steelclaw, Frilla who's picked up before setting off.) to retrieve a pod in a place that looks like, and might be, the American Southwest.

Just before Optimus acts rashly and steps right into the line of fire right outside his own base ( -_- ' ) he gives the order to his other fliers (Skyefire, Valkyrie, but also Ocariner and Icebreaker since they have to cross the ocean) to get to the pod in the desert first. Dinobot, however, doesn't let them leave. He insists on a scout patrol. He does his awesome glaring around. Then OP heads out and gets shot. When he's deemed incapacitated, both Maximal teams head out, splitting off into two directions. This leaves Dinobot and maybe one or two OCs behind to tend the base.

We now have two races.

The one retrieving Tigatron goes pretty much just like the show, except that that an OC or two will join them (Wintersong? Who else?). However, Terrorsaur and Waspinator might shoot her out of the sky or something and then the show an continue as planned. OR the fliers get into a fight. Either way, the Preds reach the pod first way before the Maximals do.

Meanwhile, the other team is hurrying, hurrying, and headed straight for the desert. THey get there and head right into an ambush the Pred OCs have put together. The MAximals drive off the OC Pred team but realize they've lost the pod. Boo hoo. Maybe they try to run after them, but basically the Preds are gone and BA is detined to be part of the BW.

Meanwhile again, Rattrap contacts DB and tells him they've fallen behind and the PReds will get there first. Dinobot does his tappingfingeronthechin thing. Instead of consulting Optimus's core consciousness (which was a weird glimpse into Beast Machines >_>) he and the OCs with him come up with a plan to bounce a signal off the moon to the pod to relay proper scanning instructions. They do so. (Was it Wintersong that was staying back at base with Dinobot, OP, and Saber, too? Where is she?)

MEANWHILE, (Let's rewind a little bit) Megatron gets Terrorsaur and Waspinator to Tigatron's pod. After that, he and Scorponok, and Tarantulas, pay Dinobot a visit. Dinobot gets growly then tells Megs to EAT SLAAAG (Awesome. *_* ) and then he's shot by Scorpy and Tarry. Dinobot falls and gets himself to cover while the OC Maximals activate the defense system. (They were told by Dinobot to stay inside and wait for the right moment, or maybe they didn't see Megatron, or maybe they were all outside and they all got damaged in this brief scuffle. Details, details...) Anyways, Scorpy faces the Guns of Justice alone and when he's finished getting himself shot, Megatron orders a retreat and races towards the Tigatron's Pod himself. He gets there and nearly shoots Snowstalker and Tigatron, you know the deal, blah.

As everyone returns to base, and reports are given by the OC teams, Megatron stalks into the Darksyde and is all angry and pouty. But then Tarantulas introduces him to Blackarachnia and he's appeased. For now.

And that ends that combined epi. All the empty spots (like "What do Dinobot and the other Leftover MAxi OCs do until Rattrap contact them?" or "What does Megatron do until he finds out Terrorsaur and Waspy didn't actually kill Optimus?" or "What do the Preds on MEgatron's team do until he says its time to attack the Maximal base?") ... well, that's what RP is for. :3 Improv! 8D But nothing big. D: Like, a card game or something.

As for the rest of the 'Double Jeopardy' Episode, it an be used in a future modified episode.
