"Gargh!" the Vok Primal cried out. The pain caused him to release the leader, but he also slowed down his speed before coming to a hover in the sky and watching the Maximal fall as he rubbed his wrist.
Letting go of his wrist as soon as his clone released him, Optimus fell incredibly fast back down toward the energon field. But he was prepared. "Optimus Primal, maximize!" he commanded, approaching the ground quickly. His body transformed while free falling, and in just enough time, he ignited his prime jets before reaching the earth, hovering above the energon crystals. He could already feel the raw power razzling his circuits. He wouldn't be able to stay in robot mode for long while he was this close to the energon.
The Vok narrowed his optics and dived down after Primal, recloaking. This will be easy, he thought with a grin. He expected to blast him right into the energon field and anniliate him along with the rest of the Cybertronians.
Optimus glanced around the sky, realizing that the clone had vanished. SLAG! Quickly he grabbed the weapon that Icebreaker had given him. To his surprise, his vision automatically changed and he could see all of the firepower from the weapons in the battles nearby and the heat trails from the fliers that relied on engines to fly. Turning around and looking up, Primal spotted the alien clone. Taking his time for such a critical shot, he lifted his arm with the gun in his hand and aimed straight at him, firing the icy weapon on the setting it was last fired with by the penguin.
The "Ghost's" grin wore off when he noticed Primal was looking up straight at him. He can see me? How could he see him?! IMPOSSIBLE! he thought angrily. Despite the Maximal's shot, the Vok growled and fired his functional pair of wrist cannons at the ball of ice, turning slightly at the same time. The explosion did the same as before, only the ice covered more of his chest and side than it did his back and prime jets. Keeping as much control as he could, the invisible clone screamed as he flew right into Optimus, hooking him with his arm around his waist and throwing the both of them into the ground, narrowly missing the larger energon crystals.
Suddenly grabbed by the alien, Primal was thrown backwards into the earth, dropping Icebreaker's gun, scraping his back along the small rocks and throwing up a trail of dust before stopping. When his red optics lit up, he could see he had his normal vision back. Where was the gun?! Cautiously getting to his feet, he realized the very dangerous situation he was in. Raw energon surrounded him. He could feel the anxiety of the power growing stronger in his robot mode. Not good.
Rolling a little bit farther than Optimus had, the Vok decloaked and examined the coating of ice on his body. Much of it had broken off in the tumble, but there were still some frozen patches on his torso and side. Standing up, he spotted the Maximal commander and unsheathed both of his swords, walking toward him. He clanged them together to get his double's attention.
Turning around at the sound, Primal was relieved he could see his clone again, and apparently he wanted a sword fight now. Primus. He couldn't waste any time around this energon. His dampers were on the verge of failing already. But if he tried to retreat, he was sure the Vok would fire him out of the sky and he might be put in a worse situation than he was now. The arm that had been shot earlier by Steelclaw still had the bullet enlodged in his armor, as it had gone right through his beast mode's, and the damage that the alien had done with his punching on it made it worse. More fluid seeped from it, dripping on to the dirt at his feet. That arm wouldn't handle well in a sword fight, but he'd have to try. Pulling out his twin swords, he readied himself to block the alien's offensive move.
The Vok grinned and charged at Optimus, swinging one of his swords upward and the other around to his chest. Neither of the 'bots could be seen real well from the ground with the large deposits surrounding them.
Stepping sideways, Primal swung his arms and blocked the attack, his wounded arm showing the weaker block but stopping his opponent's swipe nonetheless. After the sharp weapons clanged together, they broke off and clanged again for another attack. Both of them avoided firepower because of the energon that surrounded them, although they had to be careful with their footing and the space around them, but Optimus was beginning to think of a desperate resolution to end this chaos. It might kill him, but if it puts an end to this violent and unremorseful creature, it would be worth it. For the time being, while Primal's time lasted, they continued to fight.
(( OOC: I'll give everyone more time to play before the big-badda-boom.
