Steelclaw wrote: “No, no, no. See, this is a rescue mission, not a hostage-taking one. I’m not trying to take you or Frilla anywhere you don’t want to go. On that note- please, Snow Trix- let Frilla go. I understand the strategic advantage of having a Maximal prisoner in this situation, but even pragmatically speaking, it’s just too much of a risk right now while we’re trying to get someone free.

Arachnitron looked over at Frilla confused. Wait, what? They weren't taking hostages? Who the slag ever heard of a Predacon NOT taking hostages?

The one he called Snow Trix did as she was told. Frilla was free.
Steelclaw wrote: “But Frilla, there is something I’m going to have to… well, ‘demand’ is the proper word. See, we’ve also come for Nemesis, and the thing is, the longer you guys drag this out, the more repairing you’re all gonna have to on the ship by the time we’ve left.

Arachnitron was about to reply when Frilla responded first.
Frilla wrote: "You can shove it up your tailpipe Steelclaw, I do appreciate not being taking prisoner but Nemesis will stay in the brig until Optimus says otherwise and I suggest you leave now. Look we're not forcing Arachnitron to stay here, she is welcomed to choose either side or go it alone so a rescue mission seems pointless besides trying to get Nemesis, now as I said leave."

Arachnitron didn't confirm or deny this. Everyone kept saying she could choose where she wanted to go, but then why was everyone content to fight over her? This was all very overwhelming for her Maximal and Hybrid personalities, but the Predacon didn't give much regard to allegiances, friends, comrades, or "belonging."
Steelclaw wrote: “Look- no shedding mech fluid, no hurting old friends. Just call off whoever’s guarding Nemesis, open her cell and let her walk out of here.”

As Steelclaw made his demands, the lift behind Frilla and Arachnitron activated. Another Predacon walked onto the base.
Steelclaw wrote: “Sonar, we could use you right now. Would you mind heading off to Nemesis’ cell and make sure she leaves unhindered? Frilla, the rest is up to you.”
Sonar wrote: "Yeah I can do that. You really need to stop acting like a Maximal and start acting like a PRedacon, Steelclaw. Shedding mech blood is always a plus during raids."

"So... now if you excuse me. I'm going to rescue our dear Nemesis."

Arachnitron shifted her body slightly so that she was standing between Steelclaw and Sonar, but her back wasn't turned to either. But while she felt brave and in control, she had no idea how wrong she was about to be.

"If you think you're just going to waltz out of here with Nemesis unchallenged, you're crazier than I am," she said simply.

She reached around for her energon pistol to fire on the Preds, but the agonizing pain of the Predacon regaining control stopped her movement. She groaned and grabbed her side. When she straightened up, her optics glowed red.

The Predacon gazed around the bridge in astonishment. She was surprised to see absolutely no weapons drawn. She had had just about enough of conversational Predacons for the day. She rolled her optics in annoyance. "It's shoot first then ask questions!" she snapped pulling out her cybervenom gun. She aimed it at Frilla's chest plate.

She turned her attention to Steelclaw. "And what's this rescue mission, no hostages slag? Take the Maximal, leave the flier and let's blow this joint sky high! What kind of Predacons are you?!" she sassed.

OOC: Sorry, Frilla! :-(

I was going to have her just storm off towards the lift, but I couldn't resist having her interact with the preds...and I just love seeing Icebreaker's reactions to her outbursts!!

Onyx couldn't help chuckle at Cheetor's comments, but he could see that Rattrap was still suspicious but Whitegrazer only seemed to want a peaceful situation."I assure you I am not trying to spy on you, to be quite truthful I was curious of this planet. Whatever my comrades are doing is a mystery to me since I left on my own to explore though I seem to have wandered on your territory." He said kindly and reared up before transforming and giving them an assuring smile, his arms crossed in front to show he meant no harm. Though he loomed as Aurora stepped to the side, he recognized her along with Rattrap and the cheetah but this was his first time encountering Whitegrazer.

"But you are right miss, even an exploration crew needs to know defense. Your skill in diffusion would definitely do the trick, so I hear at least but it is a defensive form you don't see often." He said before looking towards some faint sounds, sounds much like explosions. Had his new comrades been serious about going to the Axalon however? Perhaps the time to transform had been an ill-chosen time.

Of course he could be wrong since the sounds were faint but it was best he didn't take the chance."Correct me if I'm wrong but this may not be the best time for a chat." He said his voice now serious.

Glancing up in surprise to suddenly see Ironclaw Wintersong could only nod before watching him head off. Testing her movement a bit the tigress nodded slightly to herself, despite slight pain and still feeling slight affects from the stun attack earlier she forced herself to stand before scanning the battle field and found that the behemoth was already destroyed so it was really no use in helping at all but she wondered really what there was more to do at all besides the Levianthan still remaining, the other Predacons distracted and really only the Levianthan remaining the most real threat. It seemed the Levianthan might be the best option to attack and likely get some damage into it though there was Glowstick as well, perhaps he would expect an attack.

Carefully pushing herself up the tigress watched for a moment as the squid seemed to dodge effortlessly every shot Orcanier fired, a little help might not be so bad after all for the orca. 'Got to make this shot count or Orcanier's toast.' She thought as she moved to a better position, watching Glowstick float higher then aiming to strike the large Maximal which she used the chance to aim, activating one of the dual wrist launchers and firing two shots and praying they would hit their mark or at least distract Glowstick from her friend.

Whitegrazer ignore Cheetor's comments despite how she felt it was disrespectful for him to call Onyx an "it". Since he was only half-serious and Onyx seemed uneffective by it, she let it go even if she didn't like it. She looked at Cheetor then noticed Rattrap protecting Aurora just in case anything happened. She didn't sense anything other than the tension from the horses. Poor fellows.
"I assure you I am not trying to spy on you, to be quite truthful I was curious of this planet. Whatever my comrades are doing is a mystery to me since I left on my own to explore though I seem to have wandered on your territory." .
"But you are right miss, even an exploration crew needs to know defense. Your skill in diffusion would definitely do the trick, so I hear at least but it is a defensive form you don't see often."
Whitegrazer nodded, "Yes, it is a rare form of fighting nowadays. I'm the only teacher of the fighting style it seems on Cybertron. Many students don't think it is effective and many other martial artists from other forms believe it is too old. Critics." She smirked and laughed.

But she stopped her laughter when she heard the faint noises. It was coming from the direction of the Axalon or close to it anyway.

"Oh no."
."Correct me if I'm wrong but this may not be the best time for a chat." He said his voice now serious.
Something always happened. She was about to go, taking steps towards there, but then decided to stay. She couldn't bring Aurora with her into that situation or whatever was happened in the direction. She was still considered a noncombatant, well, to her optics anyway, "Rattrap. Cheetor. I can stay here with Aurora, while you two can investigate what's going on."

She looked at Aurora, "I hope you understand that it would be irresponisble of me to expose you to such a chaotic situation yet." She hoped Aurora understood, but won't blame the young one if she was intent on going. Aurora reminded her of herself a bit when she was young except she was more sassy than Aurora was and totally would have fought anyone who kept her from battle.

Drawing her attention back to the direction towards the Axalon, she wondered if Optimus was there yet or knows anything and prayed that her comrades were not severely damaged.

Airazor was easily able to dodge the first two shots from the Predicon down below, but the last one just narrowly clipped her right wing as she came out of a barrel roll. A plume of feathers fell away from her metallic body as she flew further onward into safety. It had taken a lot of her energy to be able to escape such a poor position, and luckily, she was able to do it with minimal damage. The shots to her back didn't hurt at the moment due to the sheer amount of liquid adrenaline pumping into her gears, but she knew that she would feel it tonight.

Now away from any immediate danger, she slowed down to survey the brawl which was unfolding below and around her. It seemed as if their was only one other battle which was happening in the sky, and that was between Manterror and Feralnight... and it didn't seem as if the good guys were doing too well...

Image

The mantis watched as the fuzor came at him with renewed intensity. "AHAH! Maximal fool! The pain will only last a nano-click!" He screamed as she approached. His blades spun inside his claw at maximum velocity as he readied them to block and counter his opponent. When she went to attack, he was ready. Taking a slight side-step, the predicon was able to avoid the blade which came at his side and the other - which was aimed for his shoulder - he promptly stopped by putting his own weapon in the way. He smiled a large toothy smile as he easily evaded her attack. "You're no match for me! Kneel before me as I perform your final exec--" as he was about to finish screaming, a rocket caught him completely unprepared in his back. The bug faltered and almost regained control before a second struck him again and sent him spiraling towards the ground.

A few moments later, Airazor flew up next to Feralnight and smiled at her. "Did you call for an exterminator?" She chuckled, still watching Manterror foolishly try to right himself. If most of his wings hadn't been completely sheered off, he might have been able to. In his last valiant attempt, the Mantis appeared to try flapping his own arms in the air... but alas, it was no good. His body crashed into the ground with an audible "thump".

by Optimal Optimus Primal
Still no response, thought Optimus, disappointed when he didn't hear anyone acknowledge his transmission. Beginning to grow a little concerned about it, his memory replayed Whitegrazer's warning about watching Megatron carefully. Was it possible that he anticipated Primal flying out to investigate the mountain only to stop him and ask him for a cease-fire, meeting him alone while his Predacons would perform a "rescue" attempt on Nemesis at the Axalon? Could this be part of what Whitegrazer was talking about? If this was Megatron's true intention of the truce, Optimus was NOT going to be happy.

The Maximal leader kicked up his speed, flying off quicker now toward the Maximal base and trying not to fear the worst. What if they were also after Arachnitron? After the interactions she had had with Manterror, he had no doubt that the mantis had reported her whereabouts and antics to Megatron, who might just be curious enough to want a closer look at her. He had no idea who she spoke to or where she went everytime she snuck out of the Axalon. So much swirled around inside of Primal's head, he was just eager to get back and find out what was going and why no one was establishing communication with him.

-----

Rattrap glanced over at Aurora as she crept her way out from behind him, not that he was expecting her to stay "hidden" from Onyx.
"I assure you I am not trying to spy on you, to be quite truthful I was curious of this planet. Whatever my comrades are doing is a mystery to me since I left on my own to explore though I seem to have wandered on your territory."
Tss. I've heard those words before. Followed by very different results, Rattrap thought a little bitterly to himself. He almost flinched for his gun when Onyx reared and terrorized to his robot mode. But the ebony horse remained where he was, seemingly unthreatening with his arms folded over his chest.
"But you are right miss, even an exploration crew needs to know defense. Your skill in diffusion would definitely do the trick, so I hear at least but it is a defensive form you don't see often."
"Yes, it is a rare form of fighting nowadays. I'm the only teacher of the fighting style it seems on Cybertron. Many students don't think it is effective and many other martial artists from other forms believe it is too old. Critics."
The rodent rolled his bright red optics. Talk about a brown-noser. Miraculously, he was keeping all of his comments to himself. He sure hoped Onyx didn't expect to train with them.
"Correct me if I'm wrong but this may not be the best time for a chat."
"Oh no." "Rattrap. Cheetor. Something is happening at our base. I will stay with Aurora here. "
Rattrap squinted one of his optics suspiciously at Onyx and then to Whitegrazer. Leave her and Aurora alone with Onyx? To do what? Chat and spar and swap stories like old friends? Fer bootin' up cold! "We'd've been notified if there was an attack on our base by your 'friends'," the rat said to Onyx, wanting him to leave because he didn't trust him here. Yeah, he just "happened" to be there with them enjoying the scenary and spying while the rest of the Preds were attacking the Axalon. He wasn't buying it. However, notification or not, his audio sensors were picking up some faint firepower in the direction of Maximal HQ. If it was under attack, then there was no time to waste. They couldn't risk ignoring it and passing it off as just some background noise.

"Come on, Spots," Rattrap waved him over just before he reverted back to his beast mode, looking for a fast ride to get back to Base.

-----

Sneaking around under some cover, Tigatron came upon Orcariner and Glowstick, with Rhinox nearby on the ground. And Wintersong? Things certainly were looking bad for the Maximals out here. He didn't see Optimus leading any of the battles anywhere, nor most of the other Maximals. He assumed several could be inside of the Axalon, though. It was time to change the wind. "Tigatron, maximize," his voice rumbled quietly, transforming to his robot mode and immediately drawing his weapon. Jogging out into the open behind Glowstick hovering in the air, Tigatron stopped and targeted the Predacon squid's back with his gun when Wintersong suddenly started firing at him. Hoping to catch Glowstick off guard as well, he also fired two shots at the Predacon who had been attacking the orca whale. Just in case Wintersong's shots were evaded, he hoped his would hit their mark while he'd be distracted with the other white cat.

Orcariner saw a strange object being thrown towards Rhinox. Knowing Glowstick, it probably was more trouble than it appeared to be. The Maximal was about to try to dive in front of his companion to intercept it before a wide beam of light washed over him. The laser was not as strong compared to its concentrated form, but it was enough to pin the giant down due to his injuries and exhaustion. As soon as the beam relented, Orcariner's optics widened with horror as he saw Rhinox kneel over.

Predacons and their poisons...

It was bad enough that they always had to worry about the insects and arachnids, but now they had a venomous squid to deal with. Orcariner would not have been surprised if the other cephalopod was able to deal poison attacks, as well. What these opponents lacked in raw strength, they made up for with cunning tactics. Right now, Orcariner had no brute strength to use against Glowstick nor any method of defeating him aside from hoping that a stray shot would down the squid. Then, his moment of opportunity presented itself. The Predacon laughed at his success, twirling his weapon in the air with his mysterious appendage. Orcariner had by then back pedaled enough to reach the second shield he had discarded earlier, but did not immediately raise it. Instead, he crouched down as if succumbing to exhaustion and let his left hand fall on top of it. His right hand in turn dropped his carbine.

Shots were fired from elsewhere at the hovering Predacon. Orcariner did not see who had opened fire, but it was too late as Glowstick had divebombed towards his giant prey. It had took some time and the Maximal sustained a lot of a damage in the process, but the trap was now set. A list of factors quickly ran through the orca's processor as soon as the enemy's blade was extended.

His strength is probably half of his creation's...

His sword is comparable to mine, but my reach is still over twice as long...

If this shield lasted several nano-klicks against that behemoth, it'll last several cycles against this guy...

Glowstick is a living being, I have to keep myself in check...

That electricity is really going to hurt...

As soon as the Predacon reeled in his sword's swing, Orcariner shoved the shield at his opponent with equal strength. The collision halted the blade's trajectory with little effort, but the electrical current still made its way through and around the defensive wall. The Maximal had always considered his armor to be fairly well insulated, but the shock still penetrated the cracks with ease. His leg wound, in particular, proved to be an especially inviting break which allowed the electricity to swarm into his systems. Not even a second had passed since the collision of the sword and shield, but to Orcariner it felt like an eternity.

Forget the pain, just finish the job!

Pushing the sword aside with his shielded arm, the giant sent forth a quick jab with his right fist at the squid's head. The strike was not intended to be overly powerful, emphasizing speed over brute strength, out of the fear that he would accidentally decapitate his foe, but Orcariner needed to create a gap between the two. Hopefully, he would have created a major headache at the same time... preferably one comparable to the one the orca himself was experiencing at the moment.

Dinobot was frankly surprised that he'd even hit Terrorsaur. But given how many times in the past he had attacked the Predacon with no results, it was bound to have happened at some point.

Terrorsaur's dive warned Dinobot to run before the flier even started shooting, so he was able to evade the first few shots. But then one slammed into his shoulder, and another right into his chest. He reeled back, making sure to stay on his feet, and quickly retrieved his shield for whatever good it would do against optic lasers.

With Terrorsaur coming closer, there was no reason not to try to hit him again. He stopped running and put his shield in front of him while he charged his lasers. Terrorsaur's shots were still flying in. One hissed as it was deflected in some random direction, and another one found a way between the rotating metal blades, hitting Dinobot in his front again. He made a quick grunt as he dealt with the impact and pain. Then he lowered his shield and fired at his opponent again.

Rattrap wrote:I don't think he really wants to fight us, Spots. It'd be kinda stupid when he's outnumbered four ta one.
Cheetor actually was thinking the same thing. His problem wasn't being scared Onyx was going to make a quick attack. His problem was with how Onyx seemed so interested in Maximal activities- like he was preparing to make some bigger attack later on in the war.
Onyx wrote:I assure you I am not trying to spy on you, to be quite truthful I was curious of this planet. Whatever my comrades are doing is a mystery to me since I left on my own to explore though I seem to have wandered on your territory.
Oh... so Onyx had just happened to want to go to the exact same spot they were going to. Sure.
Whitegrazer wrote:Rattrap. Cheetor. I can stay here with Aurora, while you two can investigate what's going on.
Now he could be scared of a quick attack from Onyx. It seemed real risky for Whitegrazer to keep around this Pred with Aurora. What if Onyx was sinister? What if Onyx was skilled enough to take her on?

What if Aurora was taken to the base with some huge fight going on... O.k. But couldn't Whitegrazer just kindly leave Onyx behind and go somewhere else with Aurora?
Rattrap wrote:Come on, Spots.
Cheetor glared at Onyx for a little and then finally transformed to beast mode. He dashed to Rattrap and let him climb on. Then he took off without a word, going as fast as he thought Rattrap could hold on.

Glowstick was once again surprised at how agile Orcariner could be considering his size, but he was made of sterner things then himself. As his sword blow was deflected, he saw the fist coming towards him and swiftly reduced the output of his anti gravity generator, his body taking and rolling with the punch as it seemed to float towards the ground in a somersault missing the sudden hail of fire coming from the Maximals behind him, he landed infront of Orcariner.

The blow did not go without damage however, as part of the beak on his chest was cracked open with a deformed portion of metal on the left side, looking as if he was in a car accident. Glowstick swiftly swapped his sword into another tentacle, then brought both of his feeder tentacles straight up, allowing them to stretch their full length, which surprisingly extended up towards Orcariner's chin striking it with the photophore ends in a dual punch. On impact, his two laser cannons then fired narrow focused beams point blank, added further power to the dual stretching punch. (6 strength and 7 firepower, or as Glowstick nicknames it "the Double Impact")

Glowstick's arms started to recoil back to their unstretched length as he jumped back floating into the air once again, his head tilting only slightly to notice the added Maximal forces, activating his comlink he broadcasted onto the Predacon channels We can't sustain this battle any longer, prepare to fall back to the Leviathan. Cecaelia, get inside and pilot the ship.

Glowstick laughed once again, seeming to be panting Three on one? I guess your friends really don't have enough confidence in you..

______________

As Icebreaker heard Sonar's voice and his movements, he sheathed his knife at his side and holstered his pistol. Coming closer with every step, Icebreaker suddenly rushed in front of Sonar slamming both of his hands on either side of the bat transformer's head in a "clap", his hands grasping the sides of the likely surprised and stunned bat pulling his head down as he brought up his right knee into Sonar's face as hard as he could.

As Sonar started to fall back, Icebreaker swiftly pulled him towards himself and turned him around putting a arm around his neck, then drew his pistol with his left hand and pointed it to the side of Sonar's head.

Fancy meeting you two here..Hostages aren't a bad idea.. but you know.. I'm bad with hostages..Maybe Meat shield is more fitting for this scumbag.

He then heard Glowstick chirp up on the Predacon radios:
We can't sustain this battle any longer, prepare to fall back to the Leviathan. Cecaelia, get inside and pilot the ship.
He smirked under his combat mask Sounds like your boss is calling.. Maybe you should listen. Tell you what.. I'll trade you this slightly damaged bat for the lizardgirl.. But the Spider has to make the choice for herself as to where she wants to go.. Nemesis isn't on the table to bargain. Clocks ticking..

His optics narrowed under his visor watching Steelclaw, Snowtrix, and even Arachnitron. He wasn't above using Sonar as a shield and start opening fire on them, specially since if he was using his frost launcher he'd be causing way more damage and could possibly hurt Frilla and Arachnitron, but the pistol made a close encounter like this alot easier on him.

(Okay, now you can post Blaze. :P )

The last thing Sonar saw coming was a trap, but Icebreakers sudden attack had caught him completely off guard. Next thing he knew he was in a choke hold with a pistol pointed at his head, ears ringing.

Sonar chuckled clearly amused by this. "What a PRedacon way of thinking. Maybe you and Steelclaw should switch sides."

With all the confusion and the fighting, Cecaelia didn't know what to do next until Glowstick called her.
We can't sustain this battle any longer, prepare to fall back to the Leviathan. Cecaelia, get inside and pilot the ship.
As instructed, she went back to the ship and sat on the pilot seat. Powering up the engines, she pulled the throttle and flew it above Glowstick. "Hurry up! Move your afts to the ship slowpokes!" she shouted through the comlinks of the predacon channels.

IC:

Orcariner let out an audible "oof" as Glowstick retaliated with an elongated punch to his chin. The combined efforts of his laser emitters led to what sounded like a crack. Falling backwards, the Maximal giant placed his right arm on the Axalon's hull to prevent himself from hitting the ground. He instinctively unsheathed both of his energo-swords in preparation for another go-around with the Predacon combatant. To his surprise, Glowstick issued an order through his radio.
Glowstick wrote: We can't sustain this battle any longer, prepare to fall back to the Leviathan. Cecaelia, get inside and pilot the ship.
Those were just the words that the orca wanted to hear. Orcariner reached for his mouth and felt several pieces of metal fall through his fingers. Glowstick had broken through his chin guard. Feeling around the damage, he tried to diagnose his own wounds and came to the conclusion that his jaw was also dislocated. The squid sure packed a punch (or two) when he wanted to. The airborne Predacon finished his transmission and chuckled hoarsely.
Glowstick wrote: Three on one? I guess your friends really don't have enough confidence in you..
The killer whale tried to say something, but a painful grind of his mandible stopped him short of a retort. Grabbing hold of his jaw with the left hand, Orcariner forcibly snapped it back into place and moved his mouth around to test its functionality. It still hurt.

"Maybe," he mumbled, "Or they had no one else to shoot after beating your cronies."

He looked around and did not find Terrosaur, or Sonar. Manterror was laying in the most awkward position with a noticeable trail of smoke from his body leading back to Airazor's launcher. Orcariner would have attempted a triumphant smile if his jaw allowed him to.

Wait, there he is!

The Maximal's attention removed itself from the battlefield and instead was directed to his radar. Sonar did not flee from the battle. Rather, he actually succeeded in infiltrating the Axalon. Orcariner noticed that Icebreaker and the other two were surrounding him and that the penguin's signature was oddly close to the bat's. Perhaps, Icebreaker was pinning Sonar down. It could very well be the other way around. Although Sonar was outnumbered, all it took was a single Predacon to wreck havoc inside of a highly delicate bridge. Turning his attention back to the outer perimeter, Orcariner was satisfied knowing that it was secured. Glowstick was now surrounded by the orca, Ironclaw, Tigatron, and Wintersong. With Manterror out of play, both Airazor and Feralnight had no other aerial target aside from the squid himself. His scanners also revealed that Terrorsaur also did not flee, but instead chose to engage Dinobot away from the ship. Once the velociraptor was done with the flyer, that would be one more soldier to reinfor-

What's this?

A beacon of hope was registered on the giant's radar. Despite his injury, he could not help but reveal a big grin. Orcariner turned to Wintersong and forced himself to speak loudly.

"Wintersong," he said, wincing at the uneasy feeling, "Sonar somehow got into the base. I think Icebreaker's got the situation under control, but I want you to get in there just in case anything bad happens. We'll be fine out here. Glowstick and his eight armed companion are outnumbered five to two. Plus..."

He then expanded his gaze towards the others.

"Optimus is coming."

-----------------------------------------------------------

Terrorsaur continued to blast away at his opponent. Dinobot was quick to bring up his defenses, but even the spinning shield gave way to a shot. The raptor timed his retaliation well, firing an optic blast that knocked the Predacon out of the sky. However, rather than spinning out of control again, Terrorsaur successfully rolled upon impact and was back on his feet in no time. He drew his gun and aimed at the traitor with both eyes glowing bright violet. It was a sight to behold, seeing two opponents with radiant optics. Both were able to gun the other fighter down just by simply looking at him. It coerced Terrorsaur into acting more cautiously than he would with any other opponent.
Glowstick wrote: We can't sustain this battle any longer, prepare to fall...
He cut off his radio. Terrorsaur already knew how this fight would turn out after seeing both Rhinox and Orcariner on the battlefield. The Dinobot and his two pals only reinforced his earlier suspicions. The Predacons would have retreated regardless if they had lost the fight or if they had succeeded in their objective. Terrorsaur did not want to run. He had a chance to face off with one of his former teammates. Here was someone who used to give him orders, and the pterodactyl had a chance to beat him down.

"I really can't imagine the reward Megatron will give me once I give him your head," he snickered at his opponent.

He took a small step back to build space between the two. Terrorsaur tried to analyze Dinobot's defense but was unable to find any discernible weakness. The shield was large enough to encompass most of the Maximal's body. Any attempt to fight him up close would undoubtedly lead to the flyer being impaled on that infamous drill sword. If the Predacon tried to return to the sky, his foe was close enough to pin an accurate shot on him. Dinobot was someone Terrorsaur considered to be a difficult fighter to beat due to his well-balanced arsenal. The raptor was a threat at both close and ranged combat. Terrorsaur, on the other hand, only had the luxury of wielding a gun. He did not want to retreat, and yet, he could not find a way to win.

Wintersong growled as the squid seemed to have no problem in dodging attacks, but luckily the Predacons would finally be gone. Nodding at her fellow tiger she waited to see what happened, glancing as Orcarnier never ceased to fight despite the damage he had. He was one tough whale that was for sure. Though she hesitated for a moment to leave, glancing at the orca then Tigatron before nodding,"Beast mode." Transforming, though a painful change, she growled and dashed towards the Axalon, the lift lowering down just as she jumped to get on.

She silently hoped the others were alright as the lift brought her up and the sight she saw made her spark sink, it seemed Arachnitron's Predacon personality was helping the others."Let Frilla go and your rat with wings friend can go without a scratch." She spoke up, stepping onto the bridge and letting out a low growl. Damaged or not she wasn't going to let the Predacons succeed in this.

(ooc: Tired.. and got exam tomorrow I'm cramming for. But I don't want to hold anyone up.)

Aurora turned in the direction of the base, also having heard the sounds of explosions coming from that direction. Onyx had said his Predacon comrades were up to no good, essentially, so things were starting to add up fairly quickly.

"Guys, we should probably.."

That was as far as she got before Whitegrazer suggested they split up so that Cheetor and Rattrap could return to base. Tired of always being kept out of the action, even if she realized they were just trying to keep her out of harm's way, Aurora turned to Whitegrazer with an expression that could not be mistaken for anything else than a mixture of disappointment and annoyance.

"No," she said with a quite determined tone of voice. "I don't want to stay behind this time. How am I supposed to make sense of this socalled war if the only Predacon I've ever even seen is our friend Onyx here, who has made it clear he is not out to harm us? I don't want to sit back and twiddle my thumbs while my friends back at the base are in danger."

She crossed her arms and looked at the others in turn, briefly meeting Onyx' gaze as well. "We're on the same team, aren't we? So we should all go."

Onyx kept his gaze calm but could understand Cheetor and Rattrap not trusting him, but loyalty to his faction came first, it always did and could they really blame him for not giving away the motives of his teammates? Either way he said nothing on the matter and watched Cheetor take off before he looked to Whitegrazer and Aurora, giving a sympathetic gaze to the two females as Whitegrazer only seemed concerned for Aurora's safety since she was obviously quite young but it was only a matter of time before the little fuzor joined in. "I'm afraid not young one, if that were the case I would likely come along but your friends are right to be suspicious and I do not hold any ill-feelings for it, but my loyalty is to my faction and it always has been. Though that does not mean I came here as a distraction, it was indeed of my own will and curiosity of this planet and yet the timing was a bad one to come across the four of you." Onyx said kindly knowing it would be disappointing.

Looking the direction the other two Maximals had left he then gently touched the scars along his face and sighed,"Seeming as the situation has grown to a worrying one I must be going less your comrades think something bad has happened to you."He said looking back to Whitegrazer and Aurora as he felt his time with them was drawing to a quick close.

(( :D I wouldn't say Onyx is planning anything just observing. He isn't meant to be a sinister character and really just going along with how things turn out, pretty much he's mostly a go with the flow kind of mech save for times of doing things himself on occasion.))
