Now why would you need to ask that? Sure it may have more then one exit, but we already know a way out. Besides.. I doubt I could live with myself leaving a cute little girl to wander this place alone in the dark.
Starshadow just smirked at that and replied, "I like it dark than bright."
And we'll need to get out of here soon.. Even with life support.. I'm not sure how long Glowstick is going to last. Cecaelia is pretty torn up about it..
"Glowstick being a hero? Ugh..Then let's go. I'd like to have a little chat with Cecaelia..in private....." she shook her head and followed the others..

((OOC:
"Wazzzpinator cannot swim!"
Hah!))
Steelclaw secured his mini-gun to his back again and took up his gauss rifle since it had the light affixed to it. The next moment, he was following the Maximals at a slight jog. The faster they got out of the cavern, the better.

Venatrix wrote:And you call yourself a cat? If you had spent a bit more time studying your beastmode you'd know you to have the ability to see quite well in the dark.
Cheetor growled. Someone
else was mocking him. He turned the flare in Venatrix's direction so he could see her better.
"If could see well in the dark, I would see well in the dark. I can't. There isn't any bit of 'studying' that's gonna help me with that."
He turned around quickly and followed the rest of the group.

Dinobot was sent rolling by Sonar's attack. He got to his feet carefully, looking for any signs of the Predacon. He quickly found him lying in stasis lock on the ground. Dinobot was glad- he knew he wouldn't be able to fight much longer. His systems were already warning him of imminent energon surges.
He took a glance at the battlefield and saw that Optimus was flying towards Megatron. His thermal vision also picked up the alien clone flying for Valkyrie. Deciding he'd rather see the Optimus
and the alien go down, rather than just Optimus, he fired an optic blast at the clone, hoping to help Valkyrie in her fight.
As soon as he had done this, the energon build-up became too much for his systems to handle. He growled in pain as the surges appeared over his frame.
"Beast mode," he grumbled. He didn't wish to leave the fight.

Moving closer to Whitegrazer Feralnight came from the bushes and next to the mare,"How are you holding up Whitegrazer?"She asked with concern seeing her struggling to stand. Though the fuzor glanced towards Optimus and Sonar before they separated again and Optimus seemed to have a new target in mind and her ears went back hoping Tigatron or Valkyrie might have a chance of stopping him. Doing a self diagnostics Feralnight found her wing joints still had a short while before they could even be operational at all.
But she didn't want to remain grounded when her comrades could need back up form the air,"Come on wings."She said spreading them and giving them a few flaps for a test though winced from the pain and folded them again. It seemed this time Feralnight was going to have to give ground support if needed.
((OOC: Thanks for answering me, NK =) I would have posted yesterday but there were paint fumes or whatever it was those maintenance guys did outside my house. So horrible. I had a headache the whole night. Breathing in that stuff is not good. o.o))
"Two of my legs are broken during the tumble and legs are very important for a horse." She smiled lightheartedly despite the situation, "Are you all right?"
Whitegrazer saw that Dinobot was hit by an energon surge too. She hit her comm again, "Tigratron. Dinobot. With all of us, I think we can handle Optimus. No need for violence towards him. If I can get up..." She looked at Feralnight and smiled, "Can you help me with that?"
All she needed was alittle jolt and then she will maximize swiftly before her legs would give out again. Her levels were still low but she will just have to improvise. Also, seeing Inferno firing at Optimus, that distraction could be what they need if they do it correctly.
She then continued her conversation, " With all four of us, peacefully, we may be able to get through to him. You guys game?" She asked, hoping they were. Time for action was now or they were all going to get worse.
Okay what if they say no? Peacefully usually means getting your skidplates beaten?
Wasn't you that just said that the right way is always the hardest?
Just seeing if you know what is going to happen. That Optimus guy is a pit to take down it seems. Whoa...wished I had him back in Colony Gaz. I remember back...
I love your stories but can you tell them later?
((OOC: I hope this post is all right.

Just keeping the game going with a small post to show Whitegrazer will be getting back on her feet soon. XD For a couple of days, it seemed so silent here. Or maybe that was just me and the fumes? XD))

(( OOC:

at Tarry.
))
I told you Maximals to keep him under control!
Landing with a heavy thud on his feet just a few feet in front of Megatron, Primal took a blow straight to his shoulder. The impact made him swivel a little and open his mouth plate, with a painful growl escaping,
"Argh!" but he immediately faced right back at Megatron and fired one pair of his wrist cannons directed at his upper chest and head. The damage from the Predacon leader's weapon was extensive and left his shoulder black with several sparks from spliced wires in the open wound. It didn't seem to slow the Maximal down.
"Hiya!!! FOR THE ROYALTY!!!!"
Optimus turned his head to see Inferno attacking him now. Unsheathing one of his swords, he gripped the long, curved blade in the hand of his good arm and deflected his shots, ricocheting them back toward the fire ant in spontaneous directions until one shot came quicker than he anticipated and he miscalculated his swordmanship. The shot hit his hand causing him to drop the sword and pull back his arm toward his stomach with a quick inhale.
Alerted by a locking warning, the clone, who was approaching Valkyrie, looked down beyond his feet to find a missile from Tarantulas chasing him. Frustrated, the projectile most likely gave away his location, and now the Vok had to maneuver and try to outfly the missile instead of attacking the Maximal bird. Zipping off in a different direction, away from Valkyrie, he increased his altitude until he felt a sudden pain to his shoulder - when Optimus was hammered by Megatron's fusion blast. Grabbing his shoulder, he barrel rolled but regained his orientation until Dinobot's lasers hit the injury he had sustained from Megatron earlier on his torso. This caused him to lose control and cut his thrusters, rapidly falling from the sky, with or without the spider's missile still following him.
Suddenly holding his side with one hand, Optimus nearly doubled over in front of Inferno and Megatron, sharing his clone's pain from Dinobot's blast. And when that wasn't enough, his systems started surging from the energon fields.
"Warning: Energon build-up. Return to beast mode immediately," his internal computer informed him. He was ordered to ignore it. Struggling to remain on his feet, a little hunched over from the overwhelming aching, energon build-up, and agony, the white-eyed Maximal lifted his good arm and fired more shots at Inferno and Megatron.
Primal's clone didn't feel his energon surges but he crashed onto the ground, sliding shortly to a grinding halt across the rockier terrain not too far from Whitegrazer's group.
-----
Watching the events unfold, Tigatron saw Optimus ignore his own energon warning, and was tempted to jump out and do something, but he witnessed something crash not far from Whitegrazer and Feralnight. Could it have been the invisible clone? Some dust had been kicked up and was now carried away in the calm breeze but he didn't physically see a body laying there.
"Tigratron. Dinobot. With all of us, I think we can handle Optimus. No need for violence towards him. If I can get up..." "Can you help me with that?" "With all four of us, peacefully, we may be able to get through to him. You guys game?"
"Understood, but be on alert. I think the alien has crash landed near you to your left," the white tiger whispered through his comm. link. In the meantime, he waited for any instructions from Valkyrie now that she might have to improvise her plan. It sounded like Whitegrazer might have an idea to execute as well. Two were better than one in case one of those plans failed. He waited patiently on the edge of the forest.
-----
"Come on, guys, keep movin'," the vermin called back to the others. He had gotten past the point of any more ceiling falling on him, but those closer toward the back of the group may still be in danger of being buried. He moved quickly, following his nose, keeping his beaty eyes open for any surprises and markings of traps.
(( OOC: Sorry, I'm too tired to come up with anything else with Rattrap. Barely keeping my eyes open. Time for bed!

Feralnight watched the battle for a moment before looking back at Whitegrazer,"I'll be fine but let's get you on your feet.Maximize!"With a howl Feralnight transformed and moved to Whitegrazer's side helping the white mare to stand and giving her support so she wouldn't slip again like before. The fuzor though looked as something crashed nearby watching dust being kicked up by the impact,"Perhaps going for the clone may be best."Feralnight suggested,"Or at least trying to get that link gone between them."

Orcariner felt much relief as soon as they broke away from the crumbling hallway. There was no turning back now. Checking his radar, he noticed that the transwarp signature was getting closer to their party. While tempted to warn the group to watch for an increased frequency of hazards, Orcariner knew it was unnecessary to state the obvious. They may not know where they were, but the group's last couple of encounters with danger had put them on edge. With knowledge on how to detect these traps and firepower to face them, the killer whale had no huge concern over their odds of survival. Looking back at the box in hand, Orcariner turned it over multiple times to see if he could find a way to open the item. Boxes such as these were normally used to help others recover vital information from the deceased. Even Earth had them many centuries ago, given them the simple name of "black boxes". While not black, Orcariner still knew what this was. Grinding the device on the edge of his blade, the Maximal decided to strike up conversation with Predacon jogging next to him.
"So how'd you end up with your crew?" he asked, "The Darksyde's crew, I mean. You don't seem like the typical street criminal."
He was, of course, referring to Megatron's status before the Beast Wars. The mighty leader was once a notorious criminal who was the star pupil of a crime lord known as Cryotek. Megatron was intelligent and charismatic, able to recruit a loyal following who desired power and the ability to escape court through influence in the underworld. From Orcariner's perspective, Steelclaw did not seem the type to submit himself as a lackey or common thug. Granted, he was surprisingly easy to cooperate with. Despite having two Predacons in the group, the Maximals have yet to face any hardships due to their presence. The bear's claimed ideology also seemed to clash Megatron's.
He could be lying, thought the orca, or maybe he's actually a spy planted in Megatron's team?
The more ideas that popped into Orcariner's mind, the more mystery seemed to shroud this Predacon's identity.

Airazor didn't think twice about following the Rat. If Anyone was going to get them out of this dungeon, it was him. She trusted his instincts. Airazor turned and ran away from the falling dirt and rock. Her muscles soon began to ache as she did, her old injuries reminding her that she was still damaged. Ignoring the pain, she simply kept running. The last thing she wanted to do was get swallowed up by the earth. If she was to die, it would be in the clean fresh air above ground.
As the group ran, the ceiling behind them began to cave in. Dust from the falling rock and dirt soon infiltrated the caverns. Luckily, only a small part of the cave collapsed, and they quickly ran passed it. Where they had once stood was now a blockade, no longer could they turn back. Still, the group ran on.
"So how'd you end up with your crew? The Darksyde's crew, I mean. You don't seem like the typical street criminal."
Slowing down to a jog, Airazor listened in to hear the conversation. She had become very interested in Steelclaw's story, and this question had been on the back of her mind as well. She hadn't had time to ask it before and she was glad Orcariner brought it up.

Waspinator stayed close to the whale and Steelclaw, they were so close to leaving this death trap he could taste it.
"Come on, guys, keep movin',"
He knew that Rattrap would find them a way out because of his rodent instincts.
"So how'd you end up with your crew?" he asked, "The Darksyde's crew, I mean. You don't seem like the typical street criminal."
Waspinator turned his head slightly, like the whale was also interetsed to know about the Bear, he just wanted to get to know Steelclaw better.

Inferno's optics widen when one of his own shots was thrown back at him.
"AHH!" He was thrown several feet away.
It didn't take him long to recover from being shot with his own projectile. Growling, he went to once again fire at Optimus when energon build-up suddenly seized his frame.
"Beast mode!" He commanded then reverted back into his beast form.
He maybe not be able to fire shots at Optimus but he still could fight the Maximal Queen, he just needed to surprise him. Laughing quietly, he quickly dug a hole and using the vibrations in the ground, he tunneled his way toward Optimus. He came up behind him and went to attack him with his powerful pinchers when he was suddenly blind sided by the large Maximal cat.
"You will not touch him!" Saber snarled, keeping herself between Optimus and Inferno.

Whitegrazer grunted a bit. The blast from Sonar still stung abit but ignoring the slight discomfort, she quickly transformed and gave Feralnight a thumbs up, "Thanks."
Her computer warned her about her energon levels, "Computer, divert power to shield dampers." Also, her left shoulder was still damaged from Optimus' shoulder cannon.
"Understood, but be on alert. I think the alien has crash landed near you to your left," the white tiger whispered through his comm. link. She looked to her left to see the clone laying there, "I see him. I'm going to try something here."
This was her chance to speak to the clone directly. It was worth a shot. Since the Predacons weren't attacking him, maybe they can have a conversation.
This should be interesting.
Standing over the clone, she stared at him calmly but carefully as he was a dangerous bot especially from who created him. The aliens really did want them all dead. But all this carnage? Wasn't there a better way? Even if there was, would the aliens, this clone listen? Beings of higher power like these enigmatic species always seem to act the same pattern of callousness or indifference to individuals. Maybe it wasn't that at all, could they just have a problem with Cybertronians? Of course, that was speculation. These aliens were just so unpredictable and dangerous.
"Make things easier on yourself. Help us severe the link between yourself and Optimus. There is no need to continue this act of violence. Can't you see what it is doing here? Can your powerful creators see it? There is always a better way." She tried to reason with the downed clone calmly, "You have the power to stop this madness."

Blackarachnia was glad to see that Scorponok and Terrorsaur were too busy to look and see the strange writing. Studying to her memory processor, she will be able to try and decipher them.
Many of these writings were imprinted on the island but the meaning could be anything.
Knowledge was power though and if she could use any of this, she would gladly do it. After all, ever since that day in the island, she wanted that power back. She wasn't going to arrogant and reckless about it though.
She was going to be cautious. Something in the back of her processor told her Tarantulas knows something he isn't sharing with her or any of the Predacons. The pod on his screen could be anything. A project? An escape ship? She needed more details and spending more time with him will be a smart idea.

Watching Optimus taking on Megatron and beginning to falter, Dinobot realized the severity of the situation. The Predacon leader had said at first that he would take on the clone, but with Optimus attacking him directly (and seemingly without any choice), Megatron would almost certainly change his mind and take the opportunity to kill Optimus.
And that, Dinobot calculated, meant one of the Maximals would have to intervene on Megatron's behalf. He shuddered visibly, hating the idea of coming to Megatron's defense, but it was truly Optimus he would be protecting.
"I'm willing to try anything," Dinobot replied over his com-link as he began picking up speed, "But we must hasten. I do not believe Optimus will be able to withstand much more damage."
That was a fact he would have to be mindful of himself. Perhaps it was for the best that he had been forced into beast mode after all.
"Tigatron," he called on his com-link, "do you not have some manner of instant-freeze weapon in your arsenal? While I lack full knowledge of our alien enemy's capabilities, it may be that you could solve all of our problems with only one shot."
As soon as he finished his sentence, he was barreling into Optimus' side, throwing the cannons Optimus had just been firing at the Predacons off trajectory. He scrambled quickly back onto his hind legs and stood between Optimus and the targets the Maximal leader was being forced to hunt.
Now he needed to ward Optimus off long enough for the other Maximals to stop the clone.

Ocariner wrote:So how'd you end up with your crew? The Darksyde's crew, I mean. You don't seem like the typical street criminal.
So he
didn't know? Maybe the none of the Maximals knew. It would certainly explain a lot. But Steelclaw had spent the whole war thinking the Maximals knew all there was to know about him. He thought that investigators on Cybertron would have thrown together the identities of the
Darksyde crew rather easily.
Maybe Megatron really had conducted things more skillfully than Steelclaw had given him credit for. He decided he would have to re-read the Golden Disk theft report he'd lifted from the Maximals whenever he got back to base.
His first instinct was to give Ocariner the whole story then and there. He had enjoyed the supposed transparency of his past, and now that it was revealed that the transparency wasn't actually there, he felt like re-creating it.
But then, the newly-discovered confidentiality was a potential asset. And like all assets, he didn't want to just throw it away without giving at least some thought to the benefits and risks of doing so. In short, he didn't necessarily want to be secretive- he just wanted time.
He kept his gaze forward, making sure his light was illuminating the cave properly. His systems silently informed him it would be fine for him to remove the shard of metal in his neck, and he immediately did so, making a quick noise of complaint in reaction to the sharp pain. Then he threw the piece of metal disdainfully.
"None of the 'bots in our group are what I'd call 'typical'," Steelclaw responded. "Would you, Waspinator?"

"AHH!" "Beast mode!"
Primal showed a smile that pulled on the corner of his mouth, despite the energon surges that were quickly growing worse. Watching Inferno revert to his beast mode, the Maximal commander bent down and picked up his sword, ready to chop off the ant's antennae and legs. However, Inferno's superior digging skills had himself under ground in no time, so Optimus faced Megatron again.
"You will not touch him!"
Feeling the ground shake a little, and hearing Saber-Fang holler, Primal turned around to find the saber tooth cat intervening Inferno's surprise attack. A part of him knew what she was doing but couldn't express his gratitude. Distracted by this scene, Optimus was suddenly blown off of his feet by Dinobot, feeling a hard thud to his torso where it had already hurt through his clone's link. He landed on his severely damaged shoulder, dropping his sword again, coughing and rolling slowly onto his back. Laying there, the immense pain of everything made him incoherent for a moment.
"Danger: Stasis lock imminent. Transform to beast mode immediately," his computer announced again. His bright white optics dimmed, forced to suffer, forced to fire upon his crew, forced to remain in robot mode. His breaths were short and quick.
"Make things easier on yourself. Help us severe the link between yourself and Optimus. There is no need to continue this act of violence. Can't you see what it is doing here? Can your powerful creators see it? There is always a better way." "You have the power to stop this madness."
The Vok slowly pulled himself up to kneel on one knee when Whitegrazer strolled over. Still invisible, he wasn't sure how he could see her but by this point it really didn't matter. He had seen what both allegiances could do, both with fighting the clone and those solving the traps under ground. Whether or not they worked together, both the Maximals and the Predacons had great potential interfering with their grand scheme, and this new realization will force the alien race to make the final call; to unveil their greatest weapon and exterminate the entire planet. It was the only way.
Decloaking, the clone stood up and faced Whitegrazer, his optics returned to red. He could feel the pain Primal was experiencing and rolled his shoulder twice before tilting his head at the female before him while she spoke. Straightening his head, the alien finally said, "We are not interested in speaking with you," completely disregarding any answers Whitegrazer sought.
Regaining control over himself again, Optimus's eyes flashed back to their normal red color and he took a deep breath as the energon fields were straining his systems.
"Bea.... Beast-t-t mode!" After his body shifted and protected him from the raw energon, he grabbed his injured shoulder and sat up, glancing at Dinobot, Feralnight and Saber-Fang before finding Whitegrazer with his now visible clone.
No... What was she doing?! Was she crazy? The alien wasn't going to listen her. They never wanted to listen! She has to get away from him!
"WHITEGRAZER!" the gorilla called out to her in a panic. But because of that, it made his clone aware, and re-established his control over the leader. Primal's eyes didn't change from their brown color but his demeaner did, and he reached over picking up his sword and stood up, glaring at Dinobot and cracking his neck, ready to fight.
"Tigatron," "do you not have some manner of instant-freeze weapon in your arsenal? While I lack full knowledge of our alien enemy's capabilities, it may be that you could solve all of our problems with only one shot."
Receiving the raptor's transmission, Tigatron thought about it and nodded.
"I will see what I can do," he responded to Dinobot.
"Tigatron, maximize," the tiger said quietly, and stealthfully transformed. Pulling out his weapon, he targeted the clone who was not too far from his position. He was glad Whitegrazer was not in the way because he was not a master marksman like Rattrap and he would not risk hitting his own teammate. This was a shot he would take. Setting his gun to freeze, he placed his index finger on the trigger and fired at the fake Optimus.
After Primal's plea to the female before him, the clone, whose eyes had turned back to white, lifted his arm to fire his wrist-mounted cannons at her stomach. Just before he fired, he was hit by Tigatron's shot which pushed him to the side. His cannons' shots narrowly missed their target, whizzing by Whitegrazer's side and leaving her unharmed. Surprised and furious by this, the clone watched his arm freeze over. But Icebreaker wasn't around. Who...?
Stepping out of his cover, Tigatron started to walk toward the alien and Whitegrazer, keeping his aim on the intruder and firing another shot.
The next blast hit the clone's chest and the ice branched out to his shoulders, neck and torso. The sensation was freezing and immediately slowing down his internal systems, significantly decreasing the temperature he needed in order to function properly and blocking his joints. He glared at Tigatron, falling to his knees.
The Maximal Commander began involuntarily shivering, feeling the extreme cold temperatures over his chest, stomach and arms - when Tigatron froze his clone. But he managed to keep a grip on his sword and remained standing ready to battle the former Predacon.

Icebreaker rolled his optics hearing Starshadow mention she liked the darkness, ofcourse she did. It was in her name, just like he liked the cold. He then nodded and followed her back towards the others, That's fine, though Cecealia is carrying the little hero, but with his extent of damage, coming online at the moment is impossible.
Returning to the others, he looked them over Hope you guys didn't do too much fighting while I was gone. Come on, we'll have to walk a ways to the exit. He then walked ahead of them towards the pit they first had to deal with Strangely, we go down through here, then there's a tunnel which leads to a room with some strange monitors. From there, there's a hole in the ceiling. After that, we just have to follow the walls marked in paint and.. mech fluid and we're home free. Well.. You guys are anyway. I still have a large group to find. Alright, any of you that has trouble climbing those walls or that rope, I'll help you down with my winch, make sure to speak up about that.
_____________
Megatron was knocked onto his back from the hits to the chest and head, he leaned his head up slowly watching with a low growl. He watched the events transpire, then got up and quietly spoke to himself Well this drama has certainly played out long enough.. beast mode. he transformed to his t-rex mode, then moving towards Optimus swiftly spun around swinging his massive tail into Optimus.
Tarantulus watched as his missile missed, then observed Whitegrazer's interactions with the clone. Foolish maximal.. she clearly doesn't understand.. none of them do.. he thought to himself, loading another missile into his launcher. His optics widen in surprise seeing the clone then frozen in place, such an opportunity.. the rapid freezing would render the clone's metal brittle, easy to shatter with a well aimed blow. He moved closer towards the clone raising his gun and leveling his aim, then fired off a grappling hook shaped missile, even if the ice didn't make his metal brittle it wouldn't matter, the sharp missile would sever his head clear from his shoulders.
____________
Rhinox followed Rattrap, listening to the others question Steelclaw. There were plenty of questions to ask about the Predacon, but Rhinox himself doubted he would say any words of truth so easily. It wasn't in a Predacon's nature after all, and he would know.. after what they put him through.

Feralnight hoped Whitegrazer was right about this but she watched as the white femme attempted to speak with the clone only for it to nearly blast her before it seemed someone intervened. Luckily it was Tigatron. Turning away she let them handle the clone and turned to the Predacons but just in time enough to see Tarantulas fire a grappling hook shaped missile towards the Vok Primal."Oh no you don't spider!"She growled and grabbed the pistol at her side and began to fire towards Tarantulas, hoping to distract him while her teammates dealt with the clone.
-----------------------------
Frilla looked as Icebreaker and Starshadow returned, listening to what he said but raised an optic ridge at the sound of mech fluid."Where did mech fluid come from?" Though the frilled lizard had a suspicion from where having been with the Predacons long enough to know some of their habits, especially a few her and her teammates were with now. "Actually don't answer that." She said and looked towards the hole her and Scorponok were nearly turned into kabobs.

Wintersong came near the stretcher Glowstick lied on, never seeing the squid in such bad shape and even though she never particularly liked Glowstick she couldn't help feeling a little saddened that he may not make it. Due to the extensive damage it didn't seem likely. "Hey Cecaelia,if I heard your name correctly, why don't you carry your comrade instead? You seemed to be upset, at least you can keep a better watch on him."She offered looking at the blue ringed octopus. Being nice to a Predacon was still surprising to the tigeress but Cecaelia had seemed truly upset with Glowstick gone so it seemed only fair.
Looking as Icebreaker and Starshadow returned she turned to them and listened,"Maybe we'll be lucky and avoid more traps or even meet up with the others."She said trying to be a bit hopeful but deep down she had a feeling there wasn't going to be an easy way out. The aliens always seemed to have something hidden, waiting for the Maximals and Predacons to be lured into one of the many hidden traps. Ears going back at the thought she approached the hole,"Think we could use a test to make sure nothing is lying in wait, see you guys below." She said grabbing the rope.
Giving them a final look she half stepped off the ledge and gripped the rope before dropping down a bit, using a firm hold to slow herself until she reached the bottom and let go, using her night vision though limited to see a bit ahead slowly moving forward and looking for signs of hidden traps they had not seen before.
(Not sure what traps you guys would want or if any so that's a pretty open place if we wanted more in this. And yes Winter is reckless but doesn't hurt to check for traps.

*shrugs*If that's okay.)

Cecaelia nodded and lifted the stretcher. "Where to?"
Starshadow brushed her hair cables backwards and looked around. "So...now what? I don't enjoy being bored you know.." she said as she followed Wintersong, not using the rope but her claws to reach to the bottom with a few small rocks and dust falling.
"Hi Fluffy, watch for the ceiling and the floors." the catbot then flashed the light to the ceiling.
