SilverfromOZ wrote:AWESOME!! It looks like the Transwarp cell explosion... are the people in Finland Transmetal now?
Nope. But we have Heavymetal people here.
SilverfromOZ wrote:Seriously though that is quite beautiful. How often does this happen?
During winter, mostly. The most beautiful ones happen in Lapland, though I've seen some over my house. They're usually just white, weak-lighted versions. (Though on a clear night I can see the Milky Way with my bare eyes.)

Ahhh.. Goths.. I went through a semi-goth stage myself (no crazy piercings or tatoos more the black clothes and cool boots so probably more cyberpunk than goth.. I still have those boots ).
It is so cool that you can see such amazing natural phenomena from your house.. all I can see are planes flying overhead and the highway to the right. However I do have a river on the other side of the highway and about 30min drive away from the beach so it's not all bad
I'd love to witness Aurora Borealis and the Milky Way.
I remember seeing the Aurora Borealis over my neck of the woods a few years ago. It's happened twice over my section of New York. The first time it happened it was extremely clear, very colorful, and quite stunning. The second time was less impressive, mainly just faint greenish lines in the sky, no colors to speak of.
The Milky Way is a fairly regular sight over my house. Star gazing is great around here. Although I live in the country, so I don't see any of the light pollution from the city/town.
Nice. I love the countryside. My family has a holiday house on the south coast and it is so beautiful there. The sun, surf, rolling green hills and the stars are much clearer than the light-polluted city. I'd live down there if I could however for the moment it is too far from civilisation and I don't have a job where I can work from home... yet.
Heh... stargazing. ^___^ I do that on winter nights (but only when it's clear enough and not -30 Celsius). I always recognize Orion. (And I once visited an observatory in Helsinki and found out where Antares is! I really like that Scorpio constellation...)

I love stargazing when the opportunity arises (which is quite few and far between these days, I'm thinking of bringing a hammock in to work so that I can start catching up on some sleep ) Its great looking up and seeing the universe flickering, flashing and whizzing up above. Possibly a perfect summary of my character is that I look up and see and endless plain of potential, so much undiscovered territory, so many new advantures to be had and many wonders to yet encounter. #sigh# I cannot fight my Silverbolt tendencies (the exploding feathers sometimes get annoying when I'm trying to sleep though )
...I finally recognized constellations without the help of a book. Orion, Ursa Major, Perseus, Cassiopeia, Andromeda, Gemini and Eridanus.
Yeow... my head hurts... (and my frickin matriculation examination's final exams are taking place during my BIRTHDAY! 19.3.! ...That's funny. My birthday's on the 19th day and I'm turning 19. )
Oh, btw, if you wanna know (I think some of you already know), my real name is Elisa. If you want, you can call me that.
EDIT: Btw, Silver, I just had one gigglefit due to your screen-name. Because the part OZ makes me think about the organization in Gundam Wing. ...Gotta have something to do with me watching the first six episodes of the show today...

...Hey, it's not my birthday yet, feathers. It's in March. ....<< >>
That is OZ. ...And btw. You and Treize are alike. xD
Treize is the charming, charismatic leader of Oz - and of the Specials, the elite Earth Alliance taskforce which serves as Oz's disguise. He is a pure aristocrat, who lives by a code of chivalry and conducts himself as a gentleman even while plotting cruel treachery and bloody revolution. Treize's wicked schemes are rooted in a nobleman's conviction that conflict and war serve to strengthen and improve the human spirit. He is admired by Oz's soldiers; feared by his Alliance superiors; and a close, trusted friend to ace pilot Zechs Merquise.

LMAO!! I read that description and burst out laughing. It's what my mate Ted has been telling me all along. Silverbolt with a Megs streak. Well I humbly accept my fate.
Oh righto about the birthday. You know how all the number look the same (yeah and Dinobot prances around in a pink tutu when not on screen..... now that you mention it.... ) OK. Well I'll just repost the same msg when it hits your b'day. Enjoy the stupid lyrics and birthday wishes in advance.
I really have to check out this series. Treize... funny.

DOB: AC 171
Age: 24
Allegiance: OZ, World Nation [GW]
Weight: 68 kg
Hair Color: Platinum Blond
Eye Color: Ice Blue
Aside from the weight (me being more.... manly chested and all ) everything is pretty much spot on. Awesome. The world is mine!!!
The weird thing is, Treize's hair is actually dark brown. o0 Wonder where they came up with the platinum blond...?
..Know what? A huge spoiler is a-coming....
Treize allowed Chang Wufei, a 15- or 16-year-old Gundam pilot kill him. ...You're not gonna do that, are you? Also, he even somewhat resembles you... o0
(And his voice actor even is David Kaye. xD ...Original was Ryotaro Okiayu, who also happens to voice the Phantom Thief, Dark, in DNAngel. Also Byakuya Kuchiki in Bleach, Scar in Fullmetal Alchemist, Andrew Waltfeld in Gundam SEED, Gemini Saga/Kanon in Saint Seiya Hades AND Rodimus in Transformers Superlink.) Heeheehee... so your alter ego has an altered version of BW Megs's voice...
And btw. One of my favorite lines of his is "Valuable combat resources? Are you talking about our soldiers, or about mobile suits?".
"Can you still see when your head has been severed from your neck? Let’s find out…"

See that's were we differ. I wouldn't classify the troops as resources anyhow JK
OH yeah.. and the young kid killing me thing.
Was that an tinge of concern there Safeguard?
"I'm almost touched." #wipes away nonexistent tear "Fortunately such moments pass quickly."
Yeah gotta say that Dave Kay does rock. Hell they all do. But I'm sure there's a thread dedicated to that somewhere in all this crazy environment.
Hmmm... yeah that definitely does look like brown to me... however because it serves my purposes I will go with wikipedia. Although to be honest I believe that the character that really does personify me is Bit Cloud from the Zoids series.
