Correct. if you don't have a gun you don't use firepower as a stat. Though I'm not sure how that'd work out for you since you said you wanted to atleast be able to borrow weapons or have accessory mounted projectiles?

That's what I'm trying to figure out. TM Orcariner isn't going to have any guns of his own. If a mission requires it, he'd be able to mount bombs made by the Axalon crew. I'm thinking that guns and rockets will just have to come from passengers.

Hmm... I guess the firepower rating would have to be based off who made the bomb setup then. So probably firepower 6 from rhinox or firepower 7 from Icebreaker.

This reminds me.. I was talking to Nem earlier and she was going over what things should effect what stats.. so I guess I should sit down and organize that to make things easier?

I guess so, but that'll only be for episodes where he utilizes them. So that means Orcariner's Firepower is going to vary depending on the mission. It'll be a 0 for when he flies solo without passengers. If Orcariner carries Icebreaker on one wing and say Rattrap on another wing, then his total firepower would be... a 13! Bombs would probably have to be based on the maker, but I don't see him using them until the end of Season 3 when everyone attacks the Darksyde.
***EDIT***
Ok, so I think I've figured this out. I'm going to give TM Orcariner a rating of zero for firepower, even though he will be capable of having gunners and weapon mounts. I looked at Dinobot as a precedent since he's the most notable character to have used guns that are not his own (rifle and a pistol). His firepower rating was a 6. When he used the rifle, Dinobot's display of firepower evidently rose. I guess you could say the same for Optimus and Cheetor using shields to boost their endurance stats.
Then again, balancing issues come to mind. I'm listing Orcariner as a 0 for FP which pushes all these excess numbers to his other categories, and then he ends up mounting a gun and suddenly his stat total surpasses all the other OCs. Right now, I can only think of restricting use of automated weaponry and have Orcariner require a gunner to operate mounted weapons. If they use the same guns that Dinobot used in the show, they'll have an ammo limit. I might say no to rockets altogether unless if the passenger is equipped with a launcher.

Well, Rockets are dumb fired so it's not like using a missile which has a targeting system. But okay. Only thing is.. can Orcariner even use one of those guns Dinobot used? He's twice Dinobot's size, so his hand may be too big to pull the trigger. As for shields, generally they do boost a character's endurance, which is why Icebreaker does so well with a shield on his shoulder.
As for weapons, they do have a ammo limit, usually either physical ammo or energy stored in the weapon or in the user.
Oh and Orcariner's firepower with Rattrap and Icebreaker on board wouldn't stack like that. Level 10 firepower=BIG BOOM, Rattrap and Icebreaker could probably make a big blast (considering how much explosives both of them carry..), but the damage output would still be weaker then a level 10 weapon. So focusing on a weakpoint will be important for those two depending on the situation.. and if not, then Icebreaker will probably just fire unguided missiles for area of effect damage.

Orcariner can't use miscellaneous weapons in robot mode. The only time he'd be able to use those spare rifles is if they were mounted on his pectoral fins in helicopter mode. If rockets are dumb fired then I'd guess it'd be ok. I'll have to make it a rule that if Orcariner has any mounted weapons or passengers, he won't transform into robot mode. Passengers would get squished. Weapons would make things too bulky lol.

I have decided what I plan to do to my character and based on what she is and her personality, I will play her as a maternal figure. She has already showed signs of being this mother figure and I will love to play her out like that.
Also, the talk about her command abilities and stuff like that, I think she should stay as the moral center of the Maximals and only be a back-up if Optimus, Rattrap and Orcainer are busy and indisposed (is that the right word? XDD I hope so).
They do it well anyway. XDD
So, yeah, Whitegrazer could help the Maximals mentally and everything especially since we know this war is going to get even darker and grittier. In other words, she is that wise older woman/mother/spiritual character.
I hope that's okay.
(I hope I got my idea across okay.
She doesn't have to be a commander. I think we are good with those. XD )

Oh good. I just feel alittle guilty. Whitegrazer is this experienced Maximal and she is tough not to mention tall and only Megatron and a couple of others match her height. (Rampage would be though but I dealing with who we have now. XDDDD)
It makes her seem very powerful(maybe too powerful) so I think it would be best if mostly, we see her teaching, socializing, and maybe sparring with people. XDD When she is in battle, we see her teaching to good use. XD
(Blazemane, I would really love to have Whitegrazer and Dinobot spar! We got to make that happen somewhere XDDD That would be interesting if you like to. I would even love to see Whitegrazer teaching the whole team moves and stuff.)
I'm glad it sounds good!
