I want the movie to do what it does best-- mind-blowing action, which I'm sure it will deliver in spades. Anything else is just icing on an already delicious cake. If I want deep story arcs and developed characters, I've got the various TV series and comics for that, ones that don't require such an exorbitant amount of money to produce.

I'm not sure why you'd be underwhelmed, I LOVE it. And barring Optimus, he's the closest to his G1 incarnation out of any of the movie TFs-- purple, one eye w/ antennae, big gun-arm with hose, no Earth alt mode.
And granted it's only been three issues (2 from Foundation and 1 from Rising Storm), but from the prequel comics so far he seems rather Marvel Comics Shockwave-y.
It's Warpath. Also you'll notice Soundwave has an earth mode (he's the guy you see the back of on the island-- plus you can see wheels on his shoulders during the shot where Laserbeak rises above his head). Also, is it just me or does that red tank look like Warpath to anyone else? I really hope he's in this movie and maintains G1 character.
