I want the movie to do what it does best-- mind-blowing action, which I'm sure it will deliver in spades. Anything else is just icing on an already delicious cake. If I want deep story arcs and developed characters, I've got the various TV series and comics for that, ones that don't require such an exorbitant amount of money to produce.
Also, is it just me or does that red tank look like Warpath to anyone else? I really hope he's in this movie and maintains G1 character.
It's Warpath. Also you'll notice Soundwave has an earth mode (he's the guy you see the back of on the island-- plus you can see wheels on his shoulders during the shot where Laserbeak rises above his head).

I'm not sure why you'd be underwhelmed, I LOVE it. And barring Optimus, he's the closest to his G1 incarnation out of any of the movie TFs-- purple, one eye w/ antennae, big gun-arm with hose, no Earth alt mode.
And granted it's only been three issues (2 from Foundation and 1 from Rising Storm), but from the prequel comics so far he seems rather Marvel Comics Shockwave-y.

Here's a preview of the game from IGN:

I think this will actually be the first movie game that I'll invest in.

I don't know if this is a good thing or not but Transformers Dark of the moon will be in theaters not July 1 but June 29th.

According to the hands-on preview from IGN, they say that the DOTM game is exactly like War for Cybertron but with the Bayverse characters instead. Shooting mechanics, character classes, weapon damage, etc. will be extremely familiar if you've played WFC. They didn't try out the multiplayer, but hopefully with a bigger budget they'll have better servers this time around. I'll probably just rent the game since Transformers titles lose online population real fast. I loved WFC and did well with it (4.00+ k/d ratio and a 13.0+ w/l ratio) but the day before I traded it back in there were only 2 other players online.

Ooooh man..... Transformers - Dark of the Moon was awesome!!!
Cant describe it any better then that.
No more Megan Fox! Bonus points 1
Wheelie and his side-kick brains where very cool as well. These 2 pint-sized Autobots where not only funny as hell. They took down a Decepticon warship by them selves. "Yo Brains! Lets bust this ship up!"

I wont go into details yet, as hardly anyone had seen the movie yet. I was just lucky to have a friend who had a spare ticket to the premiere in Amsterdam yesterday.
The best part was that i actually met Antonio Banderas at the amphitheater. He was there for the premiere for a new movie of his.
He's sooooo handsome.... *drooooool*

Anyway, back to TF3....
People all said that this was probably the best of 3 TF movies so far. And i cant say i'd disagree.
The 3d effects where very good as well.
Gonna watch it again soon. :P

I just came back from it myself, and I agree. It was awesome.
