Where we talk about nothing other than that. :)

Maan, I haven't watched Anime in AGES. Let alone television or anything :D Too busy reading Kelley Armstrong.
Rule 42: explosions in space are always louder because there is no air to get in the way
Nuh uh,

Rule 42: Nothing is sacred

Of course the rules of the internet and anime don't always differ..Look at rule 34 and then look at anime!

Sorry for snip that!! You sure to write very long. So I has to save a load of pages.

My! My! My! Almost as if our minds are connected as one! My thoughts exactly. But I have to respect beast wars franchise, you know? Damn it, I'm very temped to bringing some human characters being part of this story, god forbids, I don't think it would be sit too well with BW fans, but I've gotta to give it a try.

Good news, I just obtained Star Trek movie script earlier today, it's really good script. It has embedded in my head forever and story of Star Trek seemed to be really good. My thoughts stop in the track and give it a serious thought about Optimal Optimus Primal. Hell..he might be badass character.

Truthfully, I'm aimed for older audiences, because those maximals, preadcons are very mature, more serious. Hell..this could work very well. Now since you mention human characters of being part this story, I will take it under careful consideration. Too many scenes in my head that I saw them..very star trek-ish...

Take it easy! We're two months away from my official movie project I'm working on. Next week, I will need this serious notebook to write it down. Right now, the transformers movies seemed to be silly, due to Micheal Bay. I'm going to make sure that that beast wars movie looking awesome and kicking ass! I don't want Micheal Bay to control my story, we already know that he make transformers franchise looking very laughable right now.

Again, thanks for telling me. I will take it under careful consideration. Remember..it's going to be very much like Star Trek, as goes for battle, very much like G.I. Joe. I'm going to make Beast Wars in the same universe as Star Trek, that is!

I'd just like to step in here for a moment and just reiterate a my questions from before:
Sorry I've missed most of this story but the concept sounds very exciting
Just wondering from a practical front:

1) Is this project set to enter production?

2) Are there companies/individuals lined up to financially back this?

3) Have you contacted people within Hasbro? (some people who have gone to various conventions may have contacts within the forums so they may be handy as well)

4) Which production company(s) are you currently targeting/have on board?

As I know there are a number of people who are curious about this process I know this would be very educational for most of them, so any light you could shed on this would be awesome

Cheers
Now I'm generally an optimistic type of guy, and I think that anyone with a great idea should stand up and tell it on the mountain, however I have one major fear right now. All I'm seeing is a whole bunch of talk, which is vague at best, and discussion of ideas that seem to be pandering to the people who are on this thread and really excited about the concept. As a result of this, I don't to see those people be worked up into a fervour only to be disappointed. If I'm proven wrong and all this works out then I'll gladly eat my words and cheer you on from the sidelines but for the moment, I'll remain cautiously reserved about this idea.

Additionally, the statement that Michael Bay has made the "franchise looking very laughable right now" is offensive to those who really do appreciate the movie AND the work that everyone has done on those movies. I know there are people who aren't fans for the Bay-formers, but it was a necessary step to resurrect the brand AND bring it back into the mainstream light. Don't get me wrong, I occasionally felt nauseous as I was try to work out if it was Bumblebee's or Barricade's foot crossing the screen at this time, but all in all, I have enjoyed the movies for what they were. Can the Transformers movies be done better? Maybe? Have the movies damaged the line in any way? Definitely not. Transformers are back IN and I lose count of the amount of Autobot and Decepticon decals I see on cars as I drive around in my day. There are popular clothing lines using Transformers imagery and Hasbro is sitting quite comfortably as a result. Laughable.. maybe from from Hasbro's side.. all the way to the bank :D

Finally though, if you are claiming that Bayformers are laughable and insist that G.I. JOE is a better movie I think you're mad. I loved the G.I. JOE movie, but completely understand that it was terrible. But terrible is what I wanted when I went to see that movie. Logic like "Oh. We have a four month old photo which contains a discarded coke can dropped at an angle of 45.67 degrees and the shadow somehow looks like a teddy bear which is what Destro used to have when he was a child. ERGO! THE COBRA BASE IS IN EGYPT!!" is exactly what I wanted out of it and I got it. Terrible. Definitely. But its definitely JOE :D

Please don't take any of this the wrong way. I am not trying to attack you or your idea, however I don't want to see anyone who is a part of this community get excited over an idea that can't happen. After all we are here to have fun :D
It's ok sir. I'll be fine...

Just listen to your commander, bonebrain!

Yes dear...

Oh Silver, that's what most of us do here anyways, is pipedream :D

I'm well aware of that, I like doing 'what ifs'.

And yes I agree with you that G.I Joe was atrocious! And to be honest, I'm not a Bay fan either. Then again, I'm not a fan of most movies nowadays because of all sorts of reasons.

The biggest being lack of intelligence in a movie and expecting me to sit down and enjoy big explosions like that makes up for the thousands of plot holes, bad acting and bad story telling.

^ That was a reference to ALL movies (almost all) and yea, sorry it includes Bayformers.

I'm going to have to take the side of caution on this thread for numerous reasons. Silver does have some very solid points, and while this may just turn out to be a pipe dream, I have some very valid concerns regarding the possibility of a live-action Beast Wars movie. I'm quite the skeptic regarding "rumors" like this.

Prime Boss, I'd be curious to see if you will answer Silver's questions in regard to your movie idea. However, I have a few big questions myself.

1. Do you have a college education, and if so, where? Can you prove that you're going to that college?

2. If you are in college or have graduated from college, are you going to a school that is/was geared specifically for those who wish to create movies?

3. What are you majoring in?

4. Will you have all the right stuff to actually pull this together?

5. Have you even done any film projects in the past, and can you point us to where we can see your work?

I'm actually quite curious to know if you're going to acknowledge either Silver's or my own questions, and if you're going to answer them.

Or Cubic, perhaps they could mention the site, with Sapph's permission in the movie!
