(( OOC:
Also, I'm going to bypass Blackrose here since she hasn't been around and just say that Dinobot gave him the coordinates for the second disk. I'd send Dinobot to go there and guard it but I have no idea if she's coming back but she'll likely fall behind again if/when she does. So to save anyone from relying on Dinobot for that mission, I'm going to keep him out of the picture for now. ))
"Rattrap... It's Optimus... Nexus... is with me. He was just... returned to his cell," as if that could have any significance to anything. Perhaps not yet but he was simply letting him know he hadn't seen him for quite some time. "We're alive... We're... hanging in there." His voice was weak and soft. It hurt to breathe and to move pretty much anything. "Is everyone... Is everyone alright? ...Aurora?" Whitegrazer had already informed him of her condition but since the Predacons were listening to their conversation, maybe Rattrap would catch on and take advantage of using a little white lie.

While Megatron motioned to someone else off-screen and Rattrap and Whitegrazer waited to hear their fellow comrades' voices, Rattrap sent a text message to Dinobot, Ironclaw, and Landslide that read, FROM RATTRAP: Dinobot, take Landslide and Ironclaw to coordinates NU-ZERO-ZERO-TWO-ONE now and secure the other golden disk that's hidden under a rock. It's neutral territory where we'll meet for the exchange. Don't draw any attention to yourselves. Landslide will keep possession of the disk until we arrive. Do NOT damage the disk! END TEXT He really hoped he cold trust them with that. He'd sooner send Rhinox but he had slim pickings with whom he could spare that wasn't already busy.
"You do what... you have to do," Optimus enforced to Rattrap. "No matter... the cost."
Rattrap knew what he meant since he had heard him say that before in relation to a dire situation and nodded a few times as he lowered his head for a moment even though Optimus couldn't see him. "Just hang in dere a little longer. We're gonna get ya back."
Besides a little cough and a soft groan of pain, Primal grew silent since he knew he also needed to speak with the Admiral. He laid there thinking about Aurora's condition and how well, if at all, that they were getting along with Nemesis or visa verse.
"Nexus?" Rattrap asked for him despite his suspicions. "How're they treatin' ya?"

"Cheetor, thank you for your assistance," Big Green told him kindly.
"Aurora, I don't know if that nanogel is going to have any long-term effects, but you should get to a CR immediately to finish your repairs, get some rest, and regain the energon you lost," he told her as he stepped out of her way and held his hand out for her to grasp and help her down off the table. No doubt she was quite weakened from such a traumatic affair.
"Did you encounter Darkwind?" he asked Nemesis. "Did you learn more about him?"
No reaction to Rattrap and Rhinox telling everyone to leave the med bay and actually have your character walk out? Or is she just waiting for Landslide to move? They could at least gather in the command center to hear Optimus and Nexus. Rattrap doesn't care so long as no one causes trouble or goes and gets themselves killed.((OOC: Nothing to post for Banban. Moving on~))

In case these Predacons hadn't noticed, Primal wasn't like many Maximals on Cybertron. Granted, he learned the hard way about the real musings of the Elders and how oppression was making Predacons like Megatron rise from the shadows and react so violently and ruthlessly by being stranded on this planet for so long, but it might surprise most of them about his involvement with Protoform X's creation and that the unstoppable spark was brought here with the rest of them, still out there somewhere. Optimus tried to practice fairness and equality with both factions, but it was difficult when these Predacons' leader was bent on conquering the universe and using the same oppression on everyone else that the Elders had been using. An endless cycle perhaps. Maybe there was never meant to be peace and it would always be this way no matter who was in charge."Really? Well, at least, you have sense."
That was an interesting opinion coming from someone who was once a Maximal protoform. Tarantulas had likely wiped her memory when he reprogrammed her so Blackarachnia would have no recollection of Cybertron or a previous life. All she could do was read the files about her home planet and listen to the stories - quite possibly inaccurate and embellished - from her fellow Predacons, told from their perspectives. ...Or maybe not so far off from truth after all. More recently he had been getting a better look into their world and how they perceived their lives and lack of freedom. Slavery. In a way, Optimus agreed with that. But even within her own Predacons and no apprehension or oppression from the Elders since they were not here with them, Blackarachnia was still a slave. Did she not see that, or was her answer really a hint at telling him what she was enduring now and that was all she knew?"Slavery."
It won't be the same, he sent Whitegrazer. He felt her hand on his face but he couldn't move. He couldn't help but let his physical condition restrict his abilities in their connection. I've learned something here... and an ominous, dark shadow of anger and resentment briefly blew across their sunny meadow emerging from him. You needn't take the blame for my suffering or anyone else's, Whitegrazer. There are some things that couldn't have been prevented with or without your involvement or mine. All we can do is move forward... And do everything and anything we can to survive. Anything, he emphasized darkly and coldly. You will soon be with us again, Optimus. What I said earlier... it is true. I am. I am responsible for what happened to Aurora. I was the intended target due to our link, but it was she... She will survive, but the pain she had suffered, it is because of my actions. I must atone for that. As well as everyone else's. Including yours. I know why I'm part of another war.
This was the first time Primal had seen one of the new Predacons as he escorted Nexus inside and gave him shove, resulting with the Admiral crashing to the floor. Optimus frowned, or tried to. One couldn't tell if he did or not because of his smashed face. This may have been the Predacon Rattrap told him about that Nexus was speaking to when they had landed here. After the older bot's coughing, he spoke again, and he still held a witty attitude for the insults."Silence, you laughable excuse of a soldier! How you achieved the rank of admiral, I will never know."
Although he feared for his mentor's well being and injuries, the Maximal leader tried to maintain a lot of focus with his one optic and audio sensors on the new Predacon, taking in his voice, mannerisms, body, armor, joints, whatever he could to add to the Axalon's files later. ...If he ever made it back."And.. such ignorance.. is why.. you shall never.. have such a title.. bestowed.. upon you."
"Oh Optimus, Nexus, I do hate to disturb you two, I know you must be enjoying your alone time together profusely, but you have a call waiting, some buck toothed yokel wants a word with you. Speak up, he can hear you, though you may want to be quick, I fear your caller might be too cheap to afford a very lengthy discussion, nnnnoooo"
Nexus Prime was just as how Optimus remembered him. He never gave in, never quit, ever the optimist, he never gave anyone special treatment no matter who they were, and he was very defiant. He was certain he had picked up a lot of the same qualities from his old teacher. However, Primal didn't care much for his antagonizing Megatron at this point. He really didn't need him coming in there again and beating them to death and losing his chance to speak with his Maximals. He was trying to survive this. Physically, he couldn't fight back anymore. Mentally, he was drained and weak and a bit of a wreck. But back to Megatron's announcement, his cruel description of their caller lead him to believe that it was Rattrap who, according to Whitegrazer earlier, had a plan and a cure and the disks. What could possibly go wrong? As for why he wouldn't be able to see Rattrap, perhaps there was a reason behind it, either on his Maximal's end or Megatron's who may not have wanted them to see what he had done to him and Nexus."Afraid to show.. your face.. Megatron? Surely .. you must be.. for sending.. your lackeys.. to do.. your dirty-work .. for you.."
The torn ape in robot mode glanced up at the black widow. Unlike Nexus, he wasn't going to waste his words badgering Megatron. Instead, he ignored him and focused on Rattrap."Better make your words count."
"Rattrap... It's Optimus... Nexus... is with me. He was just... returned to his cell," as if that could have any significance to anything. Perhaps not yet but he was simply letting him know he hadn't seen him for quite some time. "We're alive... We're... hanging in there." His voice was weak and soft. Nano machine gel? And where had the nanobots used for it come from, Rattrap wondered. Was that the same glow he had seen on Optimus before he left? Who developed the gel, Aurora? He assumed it was her. As good an idea as it seemed to be a quick healer, he'd never want that stuff on him. What if it caused people to act like Nemesis? He shuddered at the thought. Had it even been tested, or was Optimus the first guinea pig? Aye.Some sort of Nano machine gel for use in repairs.
"You actually think Nemesis is gonna share anythin' with us?" the rodent asked Whitegrazer with his mic muted so the Preds couldn't hear anything. "Yeah, I guess they know now. Lucky fer us," he said sarcastically. "Nothin' we can do about it I guess. It is what it is." he added with some disappointment."Maybe it doesn't seem helpful, but the emotional state and actions always show character. Like it or not, the shapeshifter showed more to us than he thinks. Also, I'm sure Nemesis has more details to give us," "The shapeshifter used Aurora because he knew of how much Optimus and I, all of us cared about her. Optimus... The shapeshifter pretended to be Aurora and when I relied to Optimus it wasn't her, that's when they suspected something. Though, he was trying to hide it from them. I don't think Megatron brought it. They have their proof now."
Rattrap rolled his optics and glanced at Whitegrazer. They didn't have the second disk yet but hopefully Megatron wouldn't do anything rash since the rat had never explained why one was missing or that one missing at all. Rattrap would have to finagle his way around that part, hoping that the t-rex wouldn't catch on and start looking for it at the meeting ground before the Maximals showed up. Actually, maybe he should send a small group to the second disk's location now and retrieve it and keep it safe until everyone else shows up."Glad to hear all is well, I am all too happy to allow you a chance to speak with your friends, you have much to catch up on, I'm sure. Do keep in mind however the price of your long distance call shall be two, mint condition golden disks, onscreen, where I may see them, yyyessss."
The Spy simply sneered at Megatron's rude words as he turned his mic back on. Why anyone would want to follow that mongrel was beyond his understanding. He ruled with an iron first, a pure dictator. Rattrap may have had his doubts about the monkey's leadership when they had crashed here, but after seeing the Predacons gravel at the tyrant's feet and the way he treated them, he sure was glad he was under Primal's command."Oh Optimus, Nexus, I do hate to disturb you two, I know you must be enjoying your alone time together profusely, but you have a call waiting, some buck toothed yokel wants a word with you. Speak up, he can hear you, though you may want to be quick, I fear your caller might be too cheap to afford a very lengthy discussion, nnnnoooo"
The rodent listened very carefully to his Commander, even leaning in toward the speaker. He frowned as he could hear the pain in his voice. Well, he assumed it was him. It saddened him and his imagination was endless as to what the Preds had done to him. Rattrap looked at Whitegrazer for verification since she'd be able to sense if it was really Optimus speaking to them and not the shape-shifting Darkwind jerk. "Hey, Fearless leader," he said gently and as warmly as he could given his personality and the circumstances. It was really good to hear him, which caught Rattrap a little off guard. He assumed Optimus meant "everyone" as in all of the Maximals and Nemesis but they were still avoiding specifics so he continued to do so. "Yeah. Yeah, we're good," he said and then added with some worry, "Well, Aurora's in surgery and...," he paused for dramatic effect, "we're not sure she's gonna make it. I guess if we lose her, it's only fair ta lose a disk," he shrugged against the Predacons' unlawful and careless actions, hopefully adding a little thorn in Megatron's side. Of course, they were all figuring out why Aurora was shot and not Whitegrazer, but had Megatron given the order or had someone executed all of it on their own?"Rattrap... It's Optimus... Nexus... is with me. He was just... returned to his cell," "We're alive... We're... hanging in there." "Is everyone... Is everyone alright? ...Aurora?"
"You do what... you have to do," Optimus enforced to Rattrap. "No matter... the cost."

Rhinox nodded at Aurora as he took in her fatigue. Focused on her spark chamber and soldering and molding it back together to help strengthen it, he also didn't notice Nemesis standing at the entrance and watching them. Satisfied with his work, he finally pulled his hands and tools away from the Fuzor and moved the bright light that he had hanging over her, turning it off."Exhausted..,"
Smiling back at her, he said, "Just like I knew you could find a cure. Piece of energon cake," as if it had really been that easy but he just made it look that way with all of his years of experience and practice. "Some day it will be second nature to you, too.""I knew you could do it,"
"Cheetor, thank you for your assistance," Big Green told him kindly.
Rhinox took a step back at her sudden jump, sitting up so quickly, and was about to answer her when another voice rang in. A rather unexpected one."Whitegrazer.. is she okay? They didn't shoot her too, did they?"
For a moment, the engineer looked as taken aback as Aurora did when his crimson optics landed on Nemesis and her words. The expression faded as he realized what she was explaining. "He will," he agreed, "But they'll be prepared for it. I doubt Megatron understands the complexity of such a bond if he hasn't had one himself. It's rather unique." Having an Empath on their team was a rarity."There was no need to," "Make no mistake. That bullet hit its intended target." "Attacking you was merely the method he chose to reveal the connection between Primal and Whitegrazer. What you should be worrying about is how he plans to use this knowledge to his advantage. And rest assured.. he will. That's how he operates."
"Aurora, I don't know if that nanogel is going to have any long-term effects, but you should get to a CR immediately to finish your repairs, get some rest, and regain the energon you lost," he told her as he stepped out of her way and held his hand out for her to grasp and help her down off the table.
