As he was about to respond, he found he was suddenly interrupted by Nemesis as she walked in.

Umbra smirked handing out the other cup to Nemesis I don't believe we have, as I would remember someone as enchanting..and deadly He then unscrewed the cap to the bottle, distributing the oil to each cup.

He then placed his hands together vertically, then twisted and moved them horizontally, lifting one his upper hand as a square cup appeared visible on his palm. It was a simple slide of hand trick, but still amusing to the Octopus. He then poured out a portion of the oil for himself and took a sip, the flavor of motor oil with a hint of radium washing over his pallet. The radium of course accounting for the light glow the bottle was making. New comrades and beautiful women always make a drink taste sweeter they say.. Though I'll admit, with that truce your group has, my jobs should be rather interesting..

Continuing to pour armor-piercing rounds into what little cover the Predacons had left, Rhinox was not attentive to what has happening below him. His body involuntarily convulsed as electric shocks shot up through his systems. It must have been some evil trick played by his foes, but the officer did not have much time to think about it, nor was he able to do so through the searing pain. His arms lost focus and the shots were now spraying all over the room.

"Must... stay..."

Rhinox's words trailed off before the world went dark all around him. His massive frame collapsed to the ground with an audible thud.

Starshadow heard noises outside her quarters and decided to take a look. Slowly walking down the hall, she peeked at the scene.

The spiders.. she thought. She could still remember the "partnership" they made earlier on. Right now, she needs to wait for the present Maximals to be knocked out before she could make her appearance.

Cecaelia just looked around and hopped off the stasis pod. "I'm going to my quarters." and with that, she crawled to her room and to the tank and snuggle inside the cool liquid.

"The shields are still active. Everyone should be inside by now. They're probably researching what they can from the Vok anomaly."

It made sense that was the reason for the silence. She thought she felt something going awry, but it could just be this situation, feeling everyone's solemn emotions.

"The aliens, the Vok," he began explaining to the group, "intend on destroying this entire planet, including us and the Predacons." Shaking his head slightly, Primal went on to say, "I tried reasoning with them but they weren't interested. I suspect that the fake moon will be their final attempt at defeating us." His gaze turned upward, staring at the dark sphere as if anticipating it to begin turning into some kind of a giant weapon that was powerful enough to wipe out a whole world. "And this time... I fear we have no way of stopping them..."

Whitegrazer turned her gaze towards the second moon that was still dark.

The Vok...no matter how hard Optimus had tried, they just disregarded him without any compromise or understanding.

Are they so protective of their project that they would destroy them or maybe even half of this planet to make sure they all perish? How far are they willing to go to make sure they all go away?

"I think we should all get inside the base," Dinobot suggested out loud. "We may know better how to deal with this alien threat if we can discuss it in the company of the rest of our comrades."

"I agree with Dinobot," she nodded, "It's inevitable, but it's not over yet. There is still some time left that we can figure all this out. We just have to wait for the Vok to make the first move and hopefully, we can make one ourselves."

(( OOC: I will have OP enter the base first in my next post and catch up with Rattrap; I'm just trying to give the spiders more time to get to the pod and at least get most of the programming and functioning done before they're caught in the act. ))

The sudden movement by the little droid made Feralnight jump by reflex, though not enough to avoid the force of the explosion. The force of it sent the fuzor flying backwards and slamming into a tree with an audiable thud, some the tree cracking from the collision. Whether or not anyone would hear or see it wasn't a thought however, the winged wolf at the moment trying to regain some focus and the only thing she could see were stars in her sight.

It took some minutes before at last the world around her was no longer just stars, but she wasn't quite yet focused enough that she would be getting far. Shaking herself to get moving again the fuzor dropped to her paws followed by a painful yelp, feeling pain from her legs, chest, and back from where she had collided with the tree and from the explosion itself having been close enough to do some damage. "Least I can fly." She mumbled while spreading her wings, knowing now it had merely been a set up and quickly took flight to return to base.

It took her much longer then she needed to complete the mission Megatron gave her, but she used her time alone to hone her skills till she reached a new level.
Her stalking abilities where enhanced, along with her swift and silent movements in the trees.
Not to mention, even without having a real opponent to test and lift her skills with, her martial arts where more sophisticated.
Her former style was directly related to Dinobot, who she still idolized, but her combat skills where more her own now.
Adapting to new situations came easier to her now.
So to her, this mission was more successful then she first had thought it could be.

The black panther sneaked into the Darkside, avoiding the sensors until she reached the main hall.
There Venatrix transformed into her botmode and approached Megatron.
"Megatron, i have secured the 7 locations you had sent me to without a hint of anything that could mess up my mission."

The black female sensed a much more stressful vibe around her then usual.
Her fellow Predacons where slightly more on edge then usual.
But the reason behind this was simple.
She was on her way back from her mission when she noticed a strange beam of light hit one of the moons. A beam shot from this planet.
Quickly she wondered if Megatron or Tarantulas might have built something like this, but what happened soon after the beam hit the moon made her think otherwise.
The aliens they knew as the Vok must've activated something that started a reaction that caused the moon to somehow..... transform.

She waited patiently for Megatron to respond to her report, if he ever would.
He was much to busy with the current situation she knew.

Nemesis gave Umbra a somewhat amused look which turned to a smile as he poured a drink to each of them.

Enchanting.. Although Nemesis had gotten a fair deal of attention from males in the past, that all tended to end once they realized she was different. It was if they then feared becoming her next target so they tended to seclude themselves from her after the truth came out. The winged female had learned to pay it no heed.

She accepted the drink as it was passed to her, raised the cup into the air, and proclaimed; "A drink for our new comrade!" After taking a sip of the brew she paused to watch as Venatrix came barging past them to report to Megatron, raising an optic ridge as she did. The female panther was just as seclusive as Nemesis was and would often disappear for long periods of time between visits.

Nemesis looked back as Umbra spoke up again.

"The truce is over," she remarked matter-of-factly. "Megatron hasn't been able to debrief the rest of the team yet but certain events took place recently that resulted in the changes made to one of the moons."

She pondered whether she should tell them about what Optimus had said in regards to the termination sequence but stopped herself. It might be better to simply let the others draw their own conclusions about this grim situation. Most of them seemed to be gathering at the base, aside from a few blatant exceptions.

Where were those creepy spiders anyway?

Aurora avoided looking any of the others directly in the eyes. Instead she waited in silence as Optimus pointed out that the base was surely secured due to the force field still being in place. Yet the others weren't responding which seemed a little odd regardless of how chaotic things might be inside.

"Maximize." She said the command silently, not wishing to disturb any debriefing Optimus might want to do before they proceeded inside. Once in robot form she typed a few commands on her wrist mounted computer. The screen flickered on showing current footage from the security camera in the command center. That is where she would expect the other Maximals to have gathered, yet at first glance she couldn't see anyone there. Then she noticed the mess left behind after the spiders attacked.

The small fuzor froze up as she started accessing some of the other cameras to see what was going on.

@phoenix..... I don't think the spiders have left the bridge. Rhinox is down, Frilla is down, and Silver Streak is down, but so far not Winter or any of the others. I believe we are waiting on Winter song, Una , and Mysteria.

Umbra watched as Venatrix moved by, his head tilted slightly.

He gave a smirk Well that doesn't surprise me in the least. To be honest, I found the Maximals to be abnormally violent compared to what I'm typically used to.. or what I little I remember in those regards. I gave them the same opportunity as Steelclaw, but they seemed less interested in my function and terms of service. I'd almost say they had a air of desperation.. yet not desperate enough to hire a Cyberninja..Which by the way, if either of you ever need someone for spying, murder, children's birthday parties, or any other service, I'm always willing to take up a job, confidentially ofcourse.

There wasn't much Wintersong could really say or do now, Arachnitron was with the spiders and there was no changing that. Though with her apology done and over with the tigress turned her focus to what was going on in the bridge and quickly backed up to avoid being hit by bullets from Rhinox who was down shortly after. "Slay this isn't going well." She said as she went to grab her own laser gun at her side but heard Tarantulas suddenly yell which captured her attention just before the cybervenom dart struck its mark into her chest which made her growl and attacked her systems.

Struggling a little to hold off the affects of the venom she managed to raise her weapon and fire a few shots toward the spider before succumbing to the cybervenom and collapsing to the ground like her other teammates.

"They plan to terminate us through their weapon that was once the moon, but globes are old and out dated." Megatron said, for once having no joy in the panic his subordinate was feeling. "No, this time they plan to use some other method which my theory is some kind of ray of sorts." Even he had to admit there might not be any chances of them surviving this attack by the Vok if the spiders couldn't go through with their own goal.

None the less he would remain calm for the time being, "It the spiders can do their part correctly we will be able to retaliate Steelclaw." But his attention was once more taken by Venetrix making her way into the room. It had been many months since they had seen the panther and it was good timing if this plan worked out. "Excellent work Venetrix and good timing I must say, for your return." His tone was still calm and curt.

Onyx nodded towards Nemisis in greeting and listened as they talked, sipping his oil which had a hint of radium in it from the taste. Though the stallion merely wanted to listen as they spoke and thought back to the alien crash site and of how the Maximals had been acting and it made him wonder if there was something else behind their behavior. "There seemed something making them act in such a way if you ask me. They have been fairly okay bots." He commented quietly, taking another swig of his drink for a moment.

"As for a cyberninja there don't seem to be many around anymore so I'm sure the Predacons would be more then thrilled to have you as a comrade Umbra." Onyx said since they seemed to need some good fighters. But once more his thoughts turned back to how they acted since some of Umbra's ending words made him weigh his options again of remaining with the Predacons at all anymore.

Turning his gaze towards the direction of the Axalon he was beginning to tempt the inevitable and taking off to the Maximals before the time of dooms day. Well now or never was the best way to say it. Gulping down the remainder of his drink he set it down on a crate while nodding politely, "If you two will pardon me there is something I have to do." He said before walking from the hanger and transformed to beast mode before galloping away at the fastest he could go.
