Whitegrazer nodded at Primal, still carrying her smile, "That is what I was here for."

She couldn't wait to start instructing again...at least the people who wanted to learn. Her style of fighting is more soft than the others and there are other bots who fare better with the brutal, more direct approach. Even those people come to her, for the defense part of course. It's all about beating their opponents these days. None ever show consideration that some could see the light if shown. Though she knew from experience, some are just to stubborn, which was their choice.

She was grateful that she was able to transform again, "All right. Whitegrazer maximize."

She transformed back into her robot form, giving Nightmarist a thumbs up then staring at the others she hadn't been introduced to yet and the now Maximal Frilla, "Hello!"

"Guess it could have been worse then if the pressure would have made you implode. Luckily the pressure was only bad enough to break a seal or two and slow down my systems." Wintersong replied glancing at her leg as it poured out water. She hadn't mind water considering her beast mode allowed her to go through it easily but such frigid temperatures made such depths very dangerous and caused more problems. Looking back to Icebreaker she nodded taking the Canteen he offered, "Here's a definite note, don't attack head on at an opponent with several arms." She sighed having a bit form the canteen which was rather warm.

Feralnight growled once more at Glowstick and then at Snow Trix before flapping her wings, remaining low, and flew to the shore staying near the tent and watching the two Predacons with deep dislike but knew there was nothing they could do. She only hoped Orcanier would make it soon.

---------------------------------

Frilla nodded at them, "It's nice to meet you all at least a bit more properly then on a battle field." She replied not sure whether to be shy or cautious or try and be calm. This was new to her and take some getting use to.

Snow Trix only watched until the Maximals left and turned to look at her teammate, "Go ahead and find whatever that object was Glowstick, I'll be fine up here. And if I'm correct they're one Maximal short which means that whale Orcanier must be looking at it or looking for it." She said observing the Maximals from a distance. She remembered earlier Glowstick had said something about there being three Maximals coming to help the tigers and one of them was missing.

Steelclaw noticed Tarantulas catching up to him, and he acknowledged his presence with a glance.
Tarantulas wrote:He'll be fine.. he just needs to walk it off..
"Oh, o.k.," Steelclaw replied simply. He certainly didn't have a medical opinion to give, so if Tarantulas said Megatron was alright, he'd take his word for it. Another question came to his mind. It was a bit tangential, but he didn't mind coming off that way.

"Say, what do you make of Frilla switching sides?"

Optimus Primal wrote:I'm all right, Cheetor... Thanks for keeping Sonar off of my back.
Cheetor smiled at both the things Optimus said. He was surprised that a fight that hadn't been that heroic could feel as fulfilling as it did.
Optimus Primal wrote:Agreed... She has her communication link disabled. Dinobot. There is something very wrong with her but I don't know what it is. She instructed me to stay away, and I fear whatever it is, it could be something she can't control. If you find her, do not approach her. Contact me immediately. Is that understood?
"Affirmative," Dinobot replied deliberately. He immediately took off running towards the depression in the land where he'd seen Saber last. He'd noticed, however, that Optimus had made no specifications about Starshadow, or Sonar, who had followed her. He would attempt to avoid the two Predacons in order to save all the time needed to find and catch up to Saber- he had genuine concern for the issue at hand. But if a situation were to arise that demanded a confrontation with the Predacons, well... surely Optimus would not begrudge him the indulgence of his warrior instincts?

He soon came to the hill. He found it surprisingly steep, but still charged down and reached the bottom without collapsing on his legs. Pausing for a moment, he sniffed the air. He growled quietly as he caught a scent, and then he charged in that direction.

The Beast lumbered into a thick grove of trees leaving behind the body of a grizzly bear, it's body bore savage wounds but the killing blow had been to it's throat, as it had been torn out by powerful jaws. The other animals in the area were smart enough to stay out of the beasts way so not to share the same fate as the massive grizzy.

When Sonar entered the Darksyde he placed Starshadow's body near the CR tank before transforming into his beast mode and heading to his quarters for a long nap, it was to late to give Saber an injection now that the beast as surfaced. He had no idea how long the General would be in that state, but he was postitive that it wouldn't be able to control Saber for very long. Sooner or later she would fight back and once again gain control over her own body.

((OOC: The beast is pretty easy to find, just follow the bodies that got in its way. lol.))

((OOC: Did some Googling and found some interesting maximum dive specs on our marine beast forms:

Killer Whale: 900 feet (Tested by Sea World)

Firefly Squid: 1200 feet (According to Wikipedia)

Emperor Penguin: 1755 feet (According to Wikipedia)

Icebreaker might actually be able to compete with Glowstick underwater. Then again, they’re also Cybertronians and not just animals so the durability specs will differ from their natural counterparts. Also found out that killer whales are faster than penguins which I never would have guessed, and firefly squids only live for about a year… *insert sadness*))

Orcariner continued to stare at the Decepticon body not knowing what he should do. If he brought her back to the Axalon, there was a strong possibility that she could thaw and awaken. Then again, the femme bot looked damaged to the point that the orca could even presume she was deceased regardless. The damages on this one’s body were strong indications that she was in terrible shape long before crashing into the arctic. Orcariner did not know how a Decepticon made it to this planet, but he was confident that it was not intentional. Still, he just could not simply leave her here for the taking. If Megatron found a way to somehow revive this machine, he would have yet another weapon in his arsenal. Then again, what would the Maximals do with the body if they managed to retrieve it?

What would Optimus do?” Orcariner asked himself, “Destroy it for good? Force a reprogramming chip into its system? None of those are his style.

His radar was now indicating that the Predacon signatures were breaking away from the Maximals. It seemed to him that the Maximals had lost that fight. The giant was now on a timer. The falling snow was strong enough to slow Glowstick and Snowtrix down as well as give Orcariner somewhat of a visual cover. However, snow can only do so much against Predacons who were adept to water and cold.

He asked himself once more, “What would Optimus do?

Unsheathing his energo blades, Orcariner stood over the corpse.

I can’t let you come back to be used as a weapon against us,” he tried to explain to the Decepticon, “I also can’t bring you back to base where you could destroy us from within. Sorry, girl, but I have to do this.

Bringing his luminescent swords to the body’s neck, the Maximal prepared to remove its head. He could at least return that to the Axalon for study and leave the Predacons with a non-functioning body. He exhaled as the two enemy signatures were a little over 800 meters from his location. Spark pounding from within, Orcariner closed his eyes and flexed his jaw. Opening his optics to look at the Decepticon in the face, he saw that his swords had withdrawn. He could not kill this Cybertronian. She was not yet a soldier in the Beast Wars, and striking her down now while she was at her most vulnerable point would be textbook murder. It was not the Maximal way and Optimus would not have wanted this.

Primus help me,” he whispered.

Time was running short and the orca had to decide what to do. The Predacons were not taking any breaks in their advancement and the Maximal signatures were still not moving from their location. His friends needed help and he needed to do something with this body.

Someone once told me that Primus has a reason for everything that happens,” he told the unresponsive femme bot, “You made your way to this world through means I probably can’t even fathom. If you have a role to play in this war, then I will be there to witness it… and I will gladly greet you in battle should that be the case.

Wrapping his arms around the Decepticon, he hoisted her slippery figure upright. With a grunt, Orcariner dived into the water bringing the body with him. With the current temperature of these regions, he would not have to worry about her defrosting underneath sea level. Using his robot mode’s vents, he propelled the both of them deeper away from the surface. His scanners had not picked up the Leviathan in the vicinity and as far as he knew, Glowstick was the only one of them who could swim. Orcariner alone had trouble moving the Decepticon’s frozen body on the surface. He could only hope that the considerably weaker squid would have just as much, if not more, trouble bringing her out of arctic depths. With a muted roar, the Maximal pushed the corpse as hard as he could downward towards the dark abyss.

See you later,” he said, informally saluting the fading body.

Now, there was another matter at hand. There was no point in trying to delay the Predacons. Even if he did manage to defeat the both of them, Megatron would undoubtedly send more troops the next day and Orcariner was not in the position to play body guard that frequently. The killer whale left a very noticeable hole in the ice where the Decepticon was lodged in, so once they find it the Predacons will know where the body is resting. Realizing how futile it would be to struggle against the inevitable discovery, Orcariner chose to swim in the direction of his comrades rather than make his presence known to his foes. Now was the time as good ever to start coming up with an explanation as to why he was returning empty handed.

(Yeah, generally all cephalopods only live for about a year or two, after breeding they all die. There's even points in the year where none of a certain species are alive. The longest live cephalopods are Nautilus which have been known to live up to 20 years, mostly since their breeding systems are different from the others though I imagine the shell also helps. Ah Nautilus.. 90 tentacles of doom. And you guys thought Glowstick had a lot of arms.

I assume yeah, they'd probably be able to swim a little deeper then that.

as for Killer whale swim speeds, yes I did know that they were probably the fastest of the three since they're basically a giant dolphin. So I assume Orcariner's slowness is mostly because of being on land 98% of the time)

Tarantulus looked towards Steelclaw as he spoke
Steelclaw wrote:"Say, what do you make of Frilla switching sides?"

Tarantulus simply snickered I was never close to that lizard girl, but I believe your Cephalopod friend may have the answers you seek. I just overheard his mubblings one night on a bit of information, "It made sense because we found her again" he said, whatever that means..

Starshadow started to wake up after a few minutes. She was aghasted when she found herself in the base.
The last bot she saw was Sonar. She searched for him everywhere. Now, she was outside his quarters. The angry cat kicked the door open and saw the bat then grabbed his fur, throwing him out of the room and stomped a foot on his chest.
"I have plenty of questions for you and you will answer them or else..." the feline charged up her gun, pointing the barrel infront of his face.

Sonar had just gotten to sleep when the door to his quarters was kicked open and the next thing he knew he was on his back with Starshadow's foot on his chest.
"I have plenty of questions for you and you will answer them or else..."
Sonar sighed pinching the bridge of his nose. "Fine, but I after my nap. I wasted alot of energy carrying your aft back here."

"I didn't ask you to carry me back!" Starshadow snarled.

"I want to know why did you stop me from going after Saber. Why waste your time on me? Why did you say that rusty oversized pussycat isn't Saber? WHY?!" she had a feeling that Saber and Sonar knew each other a long time but wasn't certain as there were insufficient evidence.

"I didn't ask you to carry me back!"
Sonar rolled his optics.
"I want to know why did you stop me from going after Saber. Why waste your time on me? Why did you say that rusty oversized pussycat isn't Saber? WHY?!"
Again Sonar pinched the bridge of his nose, the bat was going to regret saying this but it might keep her from asking questions about Saber.

"I stopped because aside from your craziness, I rather enjoy your company. And the reason I'm wasting my time with you is because I like you."

That left a foul taste in his mouth.

"As for the last question, I have no idea why I said that. It was probably to keep you from being torn to shreds. Happy?"

Starshadow laughed at the reply as her optics turned brighter.
"No..." she grabbed his neck, "I know when a bot is lying.." after that, she released her grip.
"You would be overjoyed without me around and of course, you're not a trustworthy-" beeping sounds were coming from her quarters. Starshadow quickly rushed to her quarters and shut the door with a slam.
"At last..I've detected my comrades.." she looked at a small device that was lying on her table. Then, there was a loud static.
"NO!! The signal!"

((OOC: Lol. I thought she would fall for it.)
"No..." "I know when a bot is lying.."
Sonar rolled his optics again.
"You would be overjoyed without me around and of course, you're not a trustworthy-"
Well, your not the first bot to figure that out. He thought.

He narrowed his optics when he heard beeping coming from Starshadow's quarters, he got up when she bolted for her quarters and slammed the door.

"Maybe this time, I'll be able to get some sleep!" He said before re-entering his quarters and this time locking the door.
