Pretty sure it's not the former. Unsure if it's the latter. All I know is it's been confirmed that Transformers: Prime is the last season of the show, though I would be surprised if it's the last Transformers show/line in the "Aligned" continuity encompassing the WFC/FOC video games, the recent "Exodus/Exiles" novels, the Prime show, and the upcoming Universe MMORPG. Hasbro's been working awfully hard on getting things set for this new continuity for some time so we don't have the continued reboots every couple years. I imagine we won't know for a while, though, as Prime is ending for the TF4 movie. Whatever show comes after that, my bet's it'll be a "kinda sequel" where knowledge of the Prime show helps you a bit here and there, but it's not required (i.e., BW to BM, Armada to Energon, etc.).

Ah I see now, guess we'll have to wait and see what happens..."cringes at the thought of another Bayformer film" >_<

Well, the movie is inevitable, but it's kinda odd that they would end Prime with season 3 when it was leaked that they were working on season 4... though maybe they changed their minds.

Its just sad that a movie franchise as AWFUL as that keeps making more movies, and while Prime isn't perfect, its above and beyond superior to Bay's work (so its sad Prime is ending while the Bayformerverse is continuing)

Has anyone watched the First three episodes of Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters or at least the first episode?
I watched all three and I'm not sure I like where they're going by the end of the third episode.

Only part one unfortunately, I live in the States. I like the idea of the cons really and truly having the edge this time (I know they've always had the bots outnumbered, but I feel like some of their dignity has been restored lol). Though i wonder why Megatron's bothering to "call a truce" with humanity when he clearly has the edge over them, and has never had a high opinion of them, I kinda figured he'd be launching a full scale invasion at this point (otherwise, I like most of his decisions so far). Shockwave's return was cool and I look forward to where that leads...Though I dread what may become of Optimus...and STILL can't believe the sleeping Airachnid survived that explosion
I haven't seen parts 2 and 3 so I can't judge them yet
P.S. Jack was uncharacteristically stupid for texting his mom XD, I mean, I know he was worried about her, but REALLY?! Seemed more like a Miko mistake than something he, the most responsible and sensible of the kids, would do lol.

I finally caught myself up on Season 3 (didn't realize it already started). So far, I'm loving it. When you compare the amount of details that they've modeled into each scene compared to Season 1, there's a huuuuge difference and it's nice to see improvement with each passing season. The new paint jobs are cool and I think it's fun to have a character like Ultra Magnus contrast the typical high-rolling wild wrecker attitudes. While I was afraid that Smokescreen was going to be the next Prime, I can say that I enjoy his character a lot more now than I did when he initially joined. Although, I'm not entirely sure what his fascination is with that phase shifter device. Shockwave is a pretty cool character who I find is a really necessary addition to the Decepticon team. They've been lacking in serious threats for a while now, but it's kind of sad that Megatron wants to confine him away from battle. Megatron, Soundwave, and Shockwave are all combatants who can easily take on 2 Autobots and win, but they have the least amount of combat time. Now, we'll have to watch Starscream hand over some easy victories to the Autobots.

Yeah...The more i see the new Starscream in action, the more I miss pretty much every previous incarnation of the character. I mean...This is the dumbest, weakest, and most cowardly version of Screamer I've ever seen, and even when he pulls off something impressive, its usually downplayed by the next episode. I mean, how the hell did someone like him get to be second in command to Megatron for so many centuries if he literally embodies everything Megatron hates in a soldier? The original screamer may have lacked subtlety, but at least he was a legit threat to bot and con alike.
I'm also grateful Smokescreen did not become the new prime, he really does remind me too much of Hot Rod, so that would have been unbearable (I'm guessing the show's makers enjoyed torturing us with the implication he may pull a Hot Rod on us XD). Ultra Magnus is a welcome addition as well, I like his no nonsense attitude and how he FOLLOWS the rules instead of breaking them (watch out Miko, Magnus is on the job lol).
I do wish the Cons had more named characters to match the bots in the field (since the rest are pretty much cannon fodder). But yeah, if Shockwave, Megatron, & Soundwave entered the fray at the same time, the bots would be in deep trouble.

I will admit that I do enjoy watching the artistic team animate Starscream. I laughed out loud when he was irritatingly tapping his side after Shockwave was announced at the head scientist.

That was one of his VERY rare good moments, basically showcasing his barely contained psychotic rage over Shockwave's new status...Unfortunately most of his moments make me wish he'd be killed off already XD

Currently watching "Plus One". Agent Fowler is hilarious in this one. It's the kind of funny where you're embarrassed on behalf of the character, but I still cracked up a lot.

Fowler is definitely one of the better human characters :3...Though after catching up with the last two episodes, I've bared witness to the last shred of Starscream's credibility/dignity as a villain being crushed underfoot after losing to Miko of all people...a HUMAN CHILD...In a mech suit designed for cybertronians, not tiny little organics >_<...Prime Screamer is officially the lamest Starscream ever (and Miko even more mary suish than before).
On a more positive note, Predaking appears to be...More than meets the eye

Yeah, I definitely can't wait to see how Predaking plays into the story. I'm hoping he'll be a threat to both Decepticons and Autobots.

Yeah, its weird to think he's actually sentient, mostly cuz it makes ya wonder how Shockwave missed something like that while he was cloning him in the lab...Unless he's in on it? dun dun dun!
P.S. I hope Megatron gets an upgrade soon, just cuz at the moment we seem to have a repeat of season 3 of Beast Wars going on, in which the good guy leader receives a badass upgrade while the lead villain ends up waiting til the tail end of the season to reach the same level of power lol. I like Megs and Prime best when they're evenly matched and the battle could easily go either way.

So that last episode got me a bit confused at the end. Did Airachnid get bit or did she have that leeching ability this whole time?
