Sonar flinched from the sudden high pitched scream, thanks to his ears his hearing was pretty sentitive.
He looked through his view find to see that Starshadow was pinned to a tree and he couldn't help but smirk. Serves that cursed feline right. He thought.
"Looks like the penguin's coming for us."
"Yeah i can see that." Sonar said.
He then sent out a web of sound surrounding himself and Steelclaw from being seen or scanned by any one or any thing.
(( OOC: The bullet fired at Valkyrie still did get fired at Valkyrie, but I'm moving ahead with Steelclaw, assuming any actions taken by Valkyrie will sort of fit into the battle's timeline ))
"Yeah, I can I guess... if you really need me to..." Cheetor replied. "But I can't walk at all in beast mode. Some nutty Pred' shot my shoulder out."
For what it was worth...
"Beast mode!" he shouted, and then transformed.

One of the missiles came dangerously close to Steelclaw, and while it technically wouldn't have hit him, he ducked out of precaution anyways. About 20 feet away, a tree erupted in an explosion from that missile, and Steelclaw held up a hand to shield his face from any debris that would manage to make it's way to him. Only a few wood chips did.
Quickly looking back into his scope, he saw the penguin with the cheetah. The Maximal who had fired the missiles was now holding up a grappling hook with energon attached. Fascinating.
Steelclaw aimed right at the hook and fired off a round. Maybe he could cause a chain reaction, and damage both Maximals in the process.
Icebreaker shifted as the bullet went past the gun and slammed into his right shoulder coming out the back, he then stood up grabbing the gun from underneith with his left hand gritting his teeth from having his shoulder shout out. His sheild covering most of his vitals as he then pointed the gun in an arc That's fine.. in a few seconds it all wont matter.
He then fired the grappling hook into the sky, the line seen unreeling as if it was a giant fishing line with hook heading in the general area of the predacons, he then lifted his left arm quickly pulling the lever to switch the gun to it's ice setting, then grabbed it from under the barrel leveling and focusing on the in air grappling hook.
A sudden white wide blast came from the gun across the sky, the air pressure in the area with a gust of wind blowing violently from the rapid cooling. He lifted the beam as it swung into the grappling hook, flash freezing the energon causing the crystalline nature of it to become brittle and explode in midair. (Yay, thermal dynamics.)
With a massive blast, the energon discharged a shockwave over the plains and woods.
Icebreaker dropped down to one knee dropping his gun as the surge ran over his body, in strained voice Beast mode! Argh!
He then transformed while grabbing his gun and knife, laying on his stomach in penguin mode.
Valkyrie knew she couldn't spend to much time in the air like this.
The Predacons who had been sniping at her and Cheetor would eventually get a lucky shot, and clip her wings.
Then a sharp pain caught her attention while she was turning in the air, while observer the on-goings on the ground.
One of the 2 snipers fired a shot that gazed her back, leaving a deep wound.
More feathers fell, as some effort was needed from her to keep her flight pattern under control.
The good thing was, in the time between the 2 shots that where fired on her, she figured out the location of the sniper that took shots on her.
It was time to disable this Predacon.
Well, disable at least his means to be a threat at such a range.
She dove down while transforming, and fired 3 missiles at Steelclaw.
Not much later she saw Icebreaker fire a few shots at her target as well, and decided it might be a better strategy to vanish from his scoop.
And so she did.
The Maximal transformed back into her beastmode, and dove into the trees.
Not much later, after her and Icebreakers missiles struck the tree the Predacon was in, she moved through the trees towards her target.
While Steelclaw stared through his scope, and fired at both Icebreaker and Cheetor, she dove down from the tree behind the one Steelclaw was in, and used the speed she gained with the dive, she climbed straight up again.
This move would've been impossible in her robotmode, and so she did this in beastmode.
And before the shock wave reached her, she already reached her target.
She didn't waste energy or time by saying something to the bear, as she swiftly dug her sharp talons deeply into the rifle only a few inches from his hands.
She calculated, in this situation, the larger Predacon, simply didn't have the time to react to her assault.
But her plan was foiled as the shock wave hit her, and blew her into a direction she did not intend to move to.
At least the bear wouldn't be using his sniper any longer, as a large part of it was still in her clutches.

(( OOC: Yeah, I'm fine with you disarming Steelclaw, although... technically I think Valkyrie would have a hard time actually tearing the gun into more than one piece. Also, he's not in a tree, he's on the ground. The reason he can see the Maximals is that I've been envisioning the forest on a sort of uphill slope from the plains [I guess we all probably have a different map in our heads of this location, and I might have not have described Steelclaw's location well enough]. But whether he's in a tree or not doesn't really matter since she could just swipe by instead of up. So, sure disarm him. ))
Steelclaw watched in shock as the crystals froze. When they shattered, a huge, fearful energy emitted from them.
"Predacons, Beast mode!" he shouted in a fit of panic. He hadn't meant to bark an order, but it really sounded like it. Of course, the only one in hearing range was Sonar.
He hadn't had time to even consider putting his sniper rifle away, and even as he was transforming, an incredibly fast shape whipped by, reaching for his gun. Almost immediately afterwords, the shock wave hit both of them. The energon had actually detonated close enough to push him back a little bit, though not dangerously.
In that small moment, when he had been between modes, his field dampeners, already taxed from the fight, gave in. They would need a recharge.
But the bird was still there, and she might have been in beast mode when that wave went by (in all of the confusion, he hadn't had the chance to see), so she'd be right back into the fight.
"Steelclaw," he stated reluctantly, "terrorize." As he was transforming, it occurred to him that transforming to beast mode even for a second hadn't been a waste. The proximity of the wave may have taken him completely out if he had been in robot mode.
As soon as he was back, blue energy made a quick appearance on him. He hoped somebody could back him up. What about Starshadow? Oh... she had screamed. Was she alright? Had she been protected from the energon wave, or did it hit her?
Well, this was turning out to be a fun day.
"Ma'am," Steelclaw addressed Valkyrie, "Would you happen to have my gun?" Then a shock from the radiation hit him again. He grunted, and doubled over, landing on a knee and a hand.

Cheetor shouted as the energon swept over his exposed joint. But it was gone pretty soon.
"You think that'll send 'em packing?" he asked Icebreaker. Of course, it wouldn't be good enough if they just decided to leave. Cheetor wanted them to have a learned a lesson- to leave the battlefield humiliated.

Sonar growled at the sudden shout, as much as he liked being able to hear very well, it also drive him nuts.
"Beast mode." He said quietly still hanging upside down.
He had made it into his beast mode before the energon wave hit, it just washed over him like a breeze.
"Ma'am," "Would you happen to have my gun?"
Sonar rolled his eyes. Is Steelclaw a pred or a Maximal?! He wondered then let go of the branch, opened his wings and went for Valkyrie.
Icebreaker got up with his flippers shaking his head, he then looked towards Cheetor I wish it was that simple. All I've done is bought us time to escape. Icebreaker then scooped up Cheetor putting him over his shoulders, then walked into the woods. First thing first.. I need to get you to Orcariner. I can do feel repairs to keep you going but.. most arn't that suicidal.

Glowstick watched in horror as the energon shockwave ran over the landscape, after it cleared he noticed activity by Steelclaw and Sonar, as well as Valkyrie missing. Slag it all.. Terrorize! he then shouted transforming to robot mode, the heavy mini gun pulled up onto his left shoulder tentacles as he went into the air flying towards Steelclaw and Sonar as he could confirm them as living units. Starshadow on the otherhand was in the back of his mind, wondering what sort of damage level she was at.
Starshadow managed to get back in concious state. She roared in pain as the energon wave hit her. "THIS, IS THE THIRD TORTURE IN MY WHOLE LIFE." she cried out loud. "BEAST...MODE!!" she transformed to beast mode. Fixing her gaze on Icebreaker and not caring about the cheetah, she charge herself towards him with her tail spikes extended to a length of long daggers and impaled him through the stomach.
Icebreaker raised a large yellow spiky eyebrow as her tail went flying at him, he simply jumped up over the strike, then landed behind her as he seemed to be running away while carrying Cheetor still Sorry Kitty cat, but I have no time for your S&M games! he then shouted behind himself.
While he has no problem with fighting in penguin mode, he was more focused on helping his wounded ally.
A rumble echoed in the distance followed by a blue hue that appeared over the mountain line's horizon. Orcariner stood in front of the cave with a grim expression on his face, knowing that the thunderous light came spawned from an explosion of some sort. Diving into the river a few meters below, the Maximal returned to his killer whale form and opened up communications with his teammates.
"Scout to team," he spoke, "An explosion of high magnitude has been detected from your direction. What's your status?"
Along the shore of the river, Icebreaker became visible carrying Cheetor, he stopped as he heard Orcariner Radio's still out big guy, as for the explosion.. don't worry about that.. I haven't seen Valkyrie though.. Can you see what you can do to help Cheetor? He got a pretty bad hole in him so he can't walk around too easily..
Icebreaker then set Cheetor down I have a feeling the enemy may have her..StarShadow is in no shape to fight and I probably weakened the snipers with that Energon bomb. Only one we have to worry about in top shape is Glowstick.. Orcariner, can you detect Valkyrie on your radar?

"I definitely want back in." Cheetor declared. He felt a bit awkward being carried around on Icebreaker's shoulder, and he was glad to be put down, though still embarrassed.
He took a step towards Ocariner, but his shoulder wouldn't support his weight, and he fell back to the ground.
"I can do this. We don't fight them in beast mode. If you can get me moving again, I'll teach those lamers."
Orcariner transformed into robot mode and picked Cheetor up into his arms. He climbed the small ridge up in front of the cave and placed the feline inside for protection. Turning towards Icebreaker, he asked his comrade.
"Radio's out? Did you guys shut them off or is it the squid again? Anyhow, I'll start initiating long range scans but it may take a while. The energon interference over the mountains may skew my data."
