I also gotta wonder what became of Airachnid...Was she evacuated as a prisoner? Did they leave her to die? Did she (hopefully) get blown to bits along with the base or is she roaming freely again?
I imagine since they went out of their way to remind us she was still in the Autobase several times (when they just as easily could have ignored her existence), we'll find out once Season 3 starts. I imagine Megatron and/or his Decepticon troops will find her and either A. Kill her or B. Give her a second chance like Starscream.
My money's on option B, particularly since she's kind of a "beast" and the whole Season 3 subtitle thing, but the show's surprised me before. (I thought they were building up to a Dreadwing defection instead of just killing him off, for example.)

Yeah, you're probably right, though I'd like to think Megatron wouldn't be dumb enough to spare yet ANOTHER backstabber since he's obviously sitting pretty at the moment & has little need of her (Airachnid doesn't even care about the decepticon cause, just wants to go back to the life of a lone wolf serial killer, she even killed Breakdown...Knockout would want her spark for that). Granted, given recent events, it wouldn't surprise me if he did spare her despite all the reasons why he shouldn't spare her >_<
I can't remember, did the Autobots evacuate the forge of Solus Prime? Or was it buried under the rubble of the destroyed base?
Yeah, if you'll notice there were a bunch of gaps (via cuts in between in-base and outside the base) when the different members left. They weren't just like, "Bulkhead & Miko, go!" *changes spacebridge address* "Bumblebee & Raf, go!" *changes spacebridge address* etc.) I think that was done on purpose. I particularly think Smokescreen has some special mission, considering A. They cut RIGHT to him without any previous dialogue in the scene, B. He saluted before leaving, C. He was alone, and D. They didn't show where he was going, unlike most of the others.
Now that I've had time to think it over, assuming the cons didn't destroy or recover the forge of solus prime, Optimus COULD conceivably use the hammer to repair the Omega Lock and revive Cybertron afterall...Though that might be a stretch since Optimus mentioned once before that he couldn't use the hammer to forge anything that was beyond his knowledge & understanding, namely the Omega Keys, so it stands to reason the Omega Lock would be above and beyond his ability to repair.
I cannot wait for season three. I've even calculated for when it would air if The Hub is waiting for Teletoon to air season three for March 15, 2013 (subject to change due to possible gaps from holiday specials)
I'll look out for any trailers for season 3 (that's not already been aired or leaked)

Prime: "Any last words?"
Demolisher: "not the face, NOT THE FACE!"
Yeah, I am seriously loving this new direction for Prime. Although there were some gem designs last year (like the deluxe Vehicon, Wheeljack, and Rumble), in general I felt like they were the designs were a step down from the few years' previous, and I was getting a little tired of semi-realistic vehicles. Mad Max vehicles and mythical beasts? It's like they asked ME personally what aesthetics I wanted the most!
Hopefully the new season won't disappoint, though I'm still having trouble accepting the whole "Optimus Prime doomed Cybertron" aspect lol.
And hopefully we'll get some new cons who'll stick around as main characters and not get killed off within a season of their introduction, like poor Dreadwing >_<
