Glowstick blinked, having thought he turned the mic off. Maximal location is currently around your blown up ship, we're just south of that location. We're going to scout the area with the transport and set up sniping points. I believe you also carry one.. so that'll make that easier.


Glowstick then looked at Steelclaw and the gun I have no problem using that, but do you think it's possible to hit that bird chick with it? he then slid the canisters away in a compartment of the vehicle.

"That ship should be nothing but smoldering medal by now. And yes i due carry a sniper rifle. I'll be you there a few minutes. Sonar out." Turning off his COM Sonar looked over a Badger.
"I'll see you later." He said with a small smile then grabbed his sniper and took off heading toward the Squids location.

"No more possible than with any other weapon. Of course, if that's what she got hit with, it'd hurt her the most. But I think our best bet, considering her unfortunate potential for avoiding weapon's fire, is to see her through the scope of a sniper rifle before she sees us. You don't dodge what you don't know about."

After securing his weapons, Steelclaw transformed back into a bear.

"Do you mind if I scout the area near Sonar's ship? I think I'm going to sweep around to be North of it's position so I can observe it from an elevated position."

Sonar hadn't quite left yet, his right ear twitched when he heard a noise.

A beast in a lair? No one's home so...I could help myself with the free food...

He growled quietly.
Cursed feline. He growled.
He waited for the right moment before grabbed Starshadow by the neck and slamming her against the wall.
"Well, well well. I thought your mother taught you better then this." He growled his ears back.

"My mother is already dead...." Starshadow's spikey tail went under Sonar's legs and colied around his ankles and held him up high with him upside down. She smirked as she tossed him outside of his lair. "And she's doesn't teach how to sneak in you slagtard...."

Valkyrie landed next to Cheetor, and looked around.
There wasn't much valuable left here as far as she could tell. They where to late.
"Orcariner, Icebreaker. Was this the ship's location?" It was only a question to confirm her calculations.
And the Predacons wouldn't just blow up a perfectly good ship.
It would've been senseless unless he, or she, had a very good reason to do so.
She felt she needed to get to know these Predacons to find out what the reasoning behind this act was. Even though she'd had to admit that the chances where that they'd never uncover this information.
Plus a tactical withdraw would be the wisest move as the last battle did not go well.
She counted 4 Predacons at the battle field. 3 where visible to her, and she could identify them easily. The one that eluded her sights needed to be identified at the very least.
But to do that now would be risky as the Predacons had more time to explore the direct area.
If she was a Predacon in this situation, what would she do.
Right now the Maximals where fighting in a defensive position on 2 fronts. So calling for reinforcements would be pointless.
She know it, and knew the Predacons knew this as well.
The standing stones was the area where the Predacons had most to gain, so the main force would be concentrated there.
The best way to weaken the Maximal defenses was to get her team out of the fight, though that would only work if Optimus was taken out of commission.
The thought disturbed her greatly, as she would be in command if that would happen. And she wasn't around.
No, she thought, there must be a way to use this situation to gain something out of it.
Her data banks where being searched at a rapid phase to find the answer.
"Cheetor, scout the area directly around us and map the area for me. Icebreaker, gather as much resources as possible from the destroyed ship, and try to make something that would imitate an energon surge for us all. Orcariner, find the best defensible location where you'll have direct access to the river. You'll be our base. Stay alert Maximals! If my calculations are correct, the Predacons will return rather sooner then later. We failed to recover recourses from this ship to fix the Axalon, but we still need some information about the 2 new Predacons we encountered here earlier. One is that squid-bot, the other is still unknown to me. I'll expect the Predacons to hit us hard, and we do not have the recourses to fight them for a prolonged period of time. Make sure you stay near Orcariner, and be sure to have an option open for a quick withdraw."

It's going to be a hard night.
Her systems slowly started to cool down, as her action to cover the retreat of her team took more out of her then she had planned.
Chances are her systems could crash and reboot again if she's forced into an identical situation.

He investigated the debris starting to pick up scraps with his flippers, he then turned his head hearing her mention the squidbot Orcariner and I know him.. Glowstick..He was one of the Predacons that arrived on the planet when we did. The guy seems to specialize in electronic warfare. Don't trust your radios or radar. Don't recognize whatever it was attacking Cheetor earlier though.

Glowstick raised a tentacle Sure, I'll stay in the western area and wait for when you guys start picking them off. When the bird takes to the air I'll try to intercept and jam their communications. he then drove off with the vehicle heading towards a wooded area hoping to be able to hide the vehicle in the trees and bushes.

"Beast mode." Steelclaw stated plainly. His direct objective was a fast trek, and that did not require weapons, so he didn't want to expose himself needlessly to energon fields.

It was not likely than the Maximals could actually see Steelclaw from the distance they were away from him, but just to make sure, he cut into the woods as well. He would make his loop in the trees' cover so he wouldn't be detected.

Where the heck was Sonar?

"I'm on it." Cheetor stated. He was actually glad to have been attacked by Sonar. Sonar was a new Predacon, and that meant there definitely weren't any Maximals aboard the ship. It wasn't cool that the Preds' got another walking scrap heap, but that was better than the thought of having a lost a Maximal to the fact the Preds had gotten there first.

Cheetor was weaving between a few boulders strewn on the ground. They weren't cover- they were in his way. But he could already make out the basic lay of the land. Back just west of the crash site was the river, to the north were the woods, which also reached around to the east for a while. In front of the woods both to the north and south was a basic grassland with those annoying rocks, which continued for a long while southward. And from North to south, there was a definite sloping downward in the land.

Yeah, whatever. Where were the bad guys?

After a few cycles, Steelclaw found a relatively serviceable spot North of the ship. He couldn't be very deep in the woods, or trees would get in his line of sight, but he was in about two trees deep, and he had picked a spot where the different trunks in front of him still stayed far enough to the left and right to give him a straight visual sigh. It spanned a large distance to the East and West of the ship.

"Steelclaw, terrorize." he whispered, as if the Maximals would hear him otherwise. He looked down the scope of his rifle, and had to admit he was a bit confused.

The Maximals came for the ship. They had managed to get to the ship, and were currently investigating it unhindered. That was fine. They had already seen Sonar, and they could see now that there wasn't anything left in the ship's debris to salvage or analyze, couldn't they?

Perhaps they just needed a little more time to analyze. But the Cheetah was running off, with nobody chasing after him? He had obviously, therefore, been told to do so.

To hunt for their enemies? To scout out the land? Either way... they didn't want the conflict to be over.

"Glowstick..." he stated in his com link tentatively. "They're waiting for us. Got any theories that would explain why?"

"My mother is already dead...."

Sonar suddenly found himself upside down which didn't surprise him.
"I'm sorry to hear that." Sonar said with a smirk.

And she's doesn't teach how to sneak in you slagtard...."

Sonar snarled when he was thrown from his lair, growling he attacked Starshadow and threw her out of his liar.
"I suggest you leave, half breed.... now. Or i promise you, you will end up in the CR tank for a long, long time." He snarled activating his fully automatic.

Glowstick parked the vehicle in the woods, watching over the area. He raised an eyelid receiving message from Steelclaw. To be honest, considering how odd the last battle was.. I wouldn't be surprised. Maybe Orcariner has us detected on his radar system? I assumed we were far enough out of range.. if I used the jammer it'd just be broadcasting we're here.. Maybe it has something to do with their weird commander?

Glowstick then went onto Sonar's frequency We're in position. How's it on your end?

"Sorry, Squid. But your going to have start without me, a certain feline is truspassing in my lair." He hissed on his COM without looking away from Starshadow, his ears back.

"Well, yes, both of those ideas are possible, and even if they couldn't detect us or see us, they could just... assume we're here, and that we want to attack them. But I mean to say, why do they want us to come to them? Shouldn't they be retreating if there's nothing left for them here?" Steelclaw clarified.

Glowstick frowned, then closed Sonar's frequency I'm not sure. Maybe they figure the best defense is an offensive? I just got word from Sonar.. StarShadow got out of her CR tank early and is attacking him.. looks like things just got more difficult..

"Also had a unique taste in music," Orcariner added, transforming back to beast mode, "Nothing I've ever heard on Cybertron. Get used you it, though. You'll be hearing it a lot."

Sliding in the river, the killer whale kicked away from the wreckage and proceeded downstream. Considering how quickly their last makeshift base fell to ruin despite the amount of work put into it, Orcariner was not too keen on finding a picture perfect hideout. He was a bit fearful that laziness was overcoming his processor, but it just seemed pointless to put in so much effort finding a secure location when everything can go to the pit within nanoklicks.

"HOW DID YOU KNOW I WAS A HALF?!" Starshadow was in total shock. The only one who knew her dark secret was Saber. Things could be difficult for her because if the bat reveals her secret to the predacons, she fear that she would experience the moments of her past again.

Starshadow started to get anxious and afraid. She got up and transformed into robot mode. "Pfft..You're a stingy one." she pout alittle as she had a lame plan to keep the bat's mouth shut. The cat just smiled at him with her fangs shown.

"HOW DID YOU KNOW I WAS A HALF?!"

Sonar raised an eye brow.
"I didn't. You just look like one." Sonar said with a slight growl.

"Pfft..You're a stingy one."

"I'm only protecting what is mine. Now if you don't want the other predicons to know about your little secret, leave my lair... now." He said dead serious.
