The Intergalactic Highway

Orcariner murmured something incoherently as his optics began to reactivate. His user interface was reestablishing connection with the rest of his scanners and bodily functions. The giant felt a repetition of taps on his face accompanied by Xzuk's faded voice. The smaller Maximal was going on and on about his beast mode.

By Primus, I gotta repair myself if I want to be able to comprehend anything in the next few solar cycles.

"Beast mode," he grunted.

Returning into his killer whale form, he asked the fox.

"What in Primus' name just happened to me?"

Glowstick walked towards Snowtrix, then looked at the Energon That could be problematic.. we'll take a slight detour and continue forward. he then started to walk along, he drew his sword from his back slashing through vegetation.

Icebreaker looked at Orcariner Thats no good. I'll investigate. he then sunk into the water , a transformation sound was heard, but he came back up in his penguin mode holding a large combat knife. He then leaned low making his way to a rock, he held up the knife and started to look over the area from the reflection in the knife. This is strange.. I've never seen anything like that technology before man. I guess it's some kinda turret, but at that size it gives a heck of a wallop!

Orcariner could still feel his left side burning from the beam that struck him. Never before had the robot felt firepower that delivered such force. Irritated, he spoke up.

"Do us all a favor and kill it."

Icebreaker nodded as he hopped up throwing his combat knife with all his strength of his flipper, the blade spun then slammed into the turret. He ducked under the rock afterwords, then looked around not hearing any sounds I thought more of those things would go off..Guess we'll just have to stick to beast mode and try to disable them along the way?

Snow Trix followed, "And energon feild that big it's no wonder the planet is unstable in energy. It explains why we can't last long in our robot forms." She observed.

Such horrible logic...

"The answer is simple. It's a machine. And it has an off switch. All we have to do, is turn it off."

He took off from behind the rock and charged for the turret.

It's still not opening fire... its not motion detected... It has to detect technology...

"Don't bother," interrupted the weary Orcariner, "Icebreaker already scrapped this one."

Looking around the quiet environment, he continued.

"It seems kind of strange that there would be a gun turret hiding in the middle of the forest. My databanks don't recognize it so it's definitely not Cybertronian design. Still, guns and a damper shield? Someone's protecting something from armed visitors. Maybe if we keep looking around, we'll find the primary power source that operates the technology here."

The killer whale pushed himself into the river and was relieved to feel the water cool the burns.

"Xzuk, lead the way. I'll try not to fall too behind."

Moonshine had watched the alien technology scene unfold with disbelief. No sooner had she gotten to chirp a brief "Very nice to meet you," to the new non-flying bird ally, before their large whale companion had been shot down by the strange laser beam.

"Are you all right?," she shouted to Orcariner, the concern evident in her voice. She was in fact just about to transform and rush over to help him when her fellow maximals reminded her that this machine no doubt targeted technology.

So instead she remained in beast mode and flew down to hover over the whale to give him a quick look-over. After assuring the injuries weren't too serious, she turned her attention to Icebreaker for a moment. "Never a dull moment around here.. Thanks for the assistance!," she said in a friendly tone.

Icebreaker noded No problem ma'am! Guess I should keep this out.. he walked over to his Combat knife ripping it out of the turret with his flipper.

Icebreaker looked back at Orcariner Animals on this planet & predacons enjoy attacking those that look injured or weakened. Maybe a bit redundant but call for us if you need help. Icebreaker then looked towards Moonshine Say, can you flight up high and see if there are any more of those weird turrets?

Glowstick swiped through the vegetation fiercely Yeah, the energon levels on this planet are rather strange. After finishing slashing he raised an optic ridge coming to a clearing and sheathing his sword on his back, noticing the river seem to cut the forest from a plain.

Snow Trix paused watching the river for a moemtn, "This has to lead omewhere." She sighed They ahd been traveling for some time but so far nothing seemed to show any igns of the Maixmals or Predacons who ahd crashed there nor any source of the place.

"Will do," said Orcariner before diving once again. From under the water, he watched the other three move forward a quicker pace than what he could match. His repair systems were working quicker than he had estimated, but it would take some time before the Maximal could regain his full strength. At least the beautiful view of the underwater energon clusters would keep his mind off the pain.

(I made a Predacon now.Her name is Frilla and I just put her bio up, you guys don't mind an extra Pred do you?)

High above in the sky a stasis pod was coming through the atmosphere like a burning meteor. Eventually it crashed near the very edge of the forest, some rocks covering it on either side. Luckily the scanner worked enough to start scanning the area for any life, so far all of them seemed out of range until a green lizard looking-creature with a orange-yellow frill came down from the trunk of a tree but was scared off by the light of the scanner.

'Organic life detected, beginning reformatting sequence now.' The computer said.

Within seconds the pod opened and a slightly short arm pushe dit open letting out a slight strianed hiss.

Glowstick blinked noticing the pod crash by near them, he turned his head to the side Huh.. thats lucky. he then extended his arm coiling it around Snow trix's waist Lets go check it out.

Glowstick's flight system kicked in as he took to the air floating towards the stasis pod, landing he set Snow trix down uncoiling his arm from her walking towards it Looks like it already scanned a lifeform.. At the going rate we're going to be collecting these things..
