First of all, I never said the movie was based on the Cybertron series. Second, I never said the robot in the teaser trailer was Soundwave. Third, nobody outside the movie producers know who it is.

so he might look like the transformers cybertron optimus prime

I read some ware official that the scorponoc of the movie will be more like BW's Scorpy than G1's. YAY. Also, any hope of any real BW cameos is blown out of the water by the fact that the movie, in telling the old transformers story in a new medium, looks as if it is going to be extreemly diferent. If it is succesful enough, count on its own universe. Although if we start a petition, we might be able to get the megatron to say "yess" at least once. that would be Uber.
