Wintersong finally got the remaining pollen off and shook her head a bit, sneezing again as some lingering pollen remained as she headed back to the ship. Though she got the transmission from Orcanier she wasn't in much of a hurry, but taking time to take in the scenery around her, finding nature one of the best things of this planet. But as she came through some bushes she realized Optimus and Whitegrazer were likely meditating and wondered if she had disturbed them, "Morning Optimus, Whitegrazer. Sorry if disturbed your meditation time." She apologized as she walked over.

Snow Trix's ears went forward slightly as the monitor showed signs of the unusual signal. What could be causing it this time? Surely wasn't a stasis pod or Maximal activity, even they didn't make this kind of signal that she could recall. Perhaps some alien activity was going on again. Shrugging she didn't think much of it and turned away from the monitors though made no move to leave yet as she thought of what to do until this signal was actually seen as significant.

Scorponok and Terrorsaur quickly entered the room where Megatron was.

"We heard your voice being raised," said Scorponok, "Is there distressing news?"

Terrorsaur said nothing and merely stood behind Scorponok with a feint look of concern. He actually thought that Megatron was engaged in a fight with a fellow Predacon and wanted to see the former get defied. To his disappointed, the pterodactyl was greeted with the sight of his leader wading in a recovery pool talking to a computer... and a duck.

Optimal Optimus Primal wrote:"Report, Orcariner,"
Orcariner was unsure with how to explain the situation to Optimus. He had called everyone to the bridge in mind that Rhinox would be the one briefing the crew on the anomaly signature. They were fairly confident that this was a transwarp signature, but there was no way to be sure about it. The orca did not want to spread false news and raise false hopes.

"Uh," he began, over the radio, "I think... but I could be wrong... the Axalon may have picked up the ignition signature of a transwarp portal south of our location. Maybe. Rhinox confirms. He thinks."

Even with a hint of caution, Orcariner had essentially told his leader that this was their opportunity to go home. No amount of hesitance could conceal the significance of such good news.

Steelclaw looked at the bullet between his fingers, reflecting the morning sunlight back at him as he gave it a final inspection.

With the small lapse in fighting that had come in the past few days, the Steelclaw had been afforded the chance to do some munitions work beyond the usual tasks of inspection and cleaning.

His gauss rifle handled moderately ranged conflicts rather well, but he had come to notice that, aside from the occasional well placed head-shot, his sniping had thus far had little effect in the war besides making Maximals fall over for a few moments. And the largest Maximal, if he was remembering correctly, had once hardly even noticed getting shot in the leg.

So he decided to develop armor piercing rounds. The work wasn't too complicated for the Predacon- it was just time consuming. Tironium was a stubborn metal to try reshaping, and the other elements he needed (the softer metals for creating a jacket around the tironium, the explosive material to place in the tips) had to be searched for and excavated. Then, of course, making sure things were shaped just so to ensure accuracy also took a lot of time. It was this issue of time which had prevented him from setting about the project earlier.

As it stood, he now only possessed three of his new rounds, and he was about to use one.

Off in the distance, to the west, he'd set up (or, rather, dragged) a thick metal slab which he expected his new rounds wouldn't even be able to make it all the way through. He just wanted to see how deeply one would penetrate in.

After loading the round into his rifle's barrel, Steelclaw put an optic up against his scope and started aiming for his target. That's when he heard a noise... something rustling in the brush nearby.

There was no shortage of wildlife on the planet, as he well knew, but he still refused to make any assumptions. "Beast mode," he whispered quietly, and as he transformed, his sniper rifle seemed somehow to fit in with the rest of the mechanics of his robot mode. Silencing his com-link (though not deactivating it), he stole off into deeper vegetation.

* * *

Dinobot started down the halls of the Axalon as soon as heard Ocariner's message. On his way there, he noticed a doorway had been left open by one of the other Maximals, and he turned for a moment to look inside it. A brief look at the room told him it was Icebreaker's quarters, but he continued to stare inward when he noticed what condition it had been left in. He would have stayed there for a while more, lost in thought, had Cheetor not suddenly rushed by him, barely avoiding the raptor.

"Coming through!" he shouted as he came through. Dinobot turned in his direction, ready to fire something back, but Cheetor was already far enough away that Dinobot would have had to shout after him to be heard. Instead, he curled the claws on one of his hands as he bared his teeth and growled. Dinobot took one last look into Icebreaker's room before continuing on to the bridge.

(( OOC: @ una: I had a feeling you might have.

Hm. I fear Venatrix has disappeared on us again. :| ))
"One thing at a time."
Optimus would focus on that the next time a distraction would occur.
"Very true." "This war seems to be more than meets the eye. I feel that it won't just be us that will change but Cybertron as well." "I fear we may have taken the forbidden fruit."
Whitegrazer offered an interesting perspective. What would Cybertron be like once they returned? He supposed that depended primarily on how long they would be away from home, which had been quite some time already. And what would happen to him and his crew? Optimus was growing fond of Whitegrazer's company more and more, although he attempted to deny showing it because it would only put her more in jeopardy with the Predacons. Megatron would just love to take advantage of such a situation and Optimus couldn't do that to her. He was already at the top of their hit list and he didn't dare bring anyone else along with him.
"You did well." "Better than me when I first did it."
"Really?" the gorilla smiled at her, surprised. "Thank you. Where I lack in leadership, at least I make up for in meditation," Primal lightly chuckled. His voice grew a little more serious when he said, "This war... This was not what I was trained for. No one among my crew was. But if we have come this far, then I must be doing something right." I'm just not sure what that is, he thought. The important thing was that his crew followed him and supported him. Without them, he would be in pretty bad shape.
"Meditation is also useful in the battlefield either to help calm yourself or to block pain." "It is more difficult but it can be learned."
Optimus gave her a thoughtful look. Interesting. "That could be quite an advantage."
"Morning Optimus, Whitegrazer. Sorry if disturbed your meditation time."
"Good morning, Wintersong," the leader smiled. "It's quite all right. It seems we would've been interrupted anyway." Primal got to his feet and noticed something on the tigress's face. "Wintersong, you have a little... something on your nose." He assumed that was the culprit of her sneezing. Then, as everything always happened so quickly within their team when problems arised, Orcariner answered him. As commander, Optimus felt it necessary to get a general guideline of the urgency that the orca had announced. He didn't have to explain it in detail, - that's what the meeting was for - just enough information so Primal could prepare himself mentally of the situation. He could tell he caught him off guard a little but Orcariner was about to return the favor.
"Uh," "I think... but I could be wrong... the Axalon may have picked up the ignition signature of a transwarp portal south of our location. Maybe. Rhinox confirms. He thinks."
Bewilderment and uncertainty washed over the ape's face. He looked in the southern direction as if he'd be able to see something from where they stood, but he saw and heard nothing. Impossible. He knew what this meant. This could be their ticket home, or it could be help. Had Cybertron finally found them? No. This was too easy, wasn't it? What was the catch? Or was it simply a trap? Either way, if the Predacons received the same data, then they would be after it too. The Maximals had no choice but to try and procure the source of the signal before Megatron did. "We'll be there shortly," was all Primal said to the largest Maximal over their transmission. His tone of seriousness was recognitiion of the state of emergency.

"I'm sorry to cut off our first session so abruptly, Whitegrazer, but we need to report to the command center immediately," Optimus said reluctantly, looking at her before glancing at Wintersong as well. It would figure that the first time in a long while he actually had time to do something such as learning these techniques from Whitegrazer, he would be forced to deal with another situation that held great importance for the entire team. Such was life as a commanding officer. He was sure she understood. "After you," he politely motioned with his hand to the two females, encouraging them to make a little haste. Not far from them, he noticed Frilla running in quickly as well. Good. He expected to see everyone there for this.

-----
"He's in a hurry today."
"Oh, really? I hadn't noticed," Rattrap said sarcastically to Feralnight. And unlike her, he remained in his beast mode and found a spot on the main bridge while waiting for everyone else to show up. He stood up on his hind feet and leaned his back against a console, folding his front legs across his furry chest.

"Anybody know what dis is about?" the rodent asked those who were present.

-----

Tigatron had surprisingly stayed at the Axalon over night as well, like many of the others. He exited his quarters in robot mode, pondering the situation that Orcariner reported. Seeing Airazor just ahead, he walked up to her to give her some company on the way to their destination. "Good morning, Airazor," he smiled kindly, walking beside her. "Have you been acclimating well to this metalic structure?" the tall and teal Maximal inquired.

With Optimus' acknowledgement, Orcariner swerved his chair and stood up. Stretching his body for a moment, he proceeded to walk towards the bridge. From the sound of things, there was quite a commotion in the hallway. Orcariner was unsure of if it was due to everyone finally waking up or if it was due to his call. Nevertheless, he was glad that everyone was rushing to the bridge. Before taking another, less crowded, hallway, Orcariner noticed that Icebreaker was not with the migrating group. He did not recall his penguin friend leaving on a mission, but perhaps it was one of the officers who sent him outdoors.

With this many bots living here, it's hard to keep track.

Arriving at the bridge, Orcariner chose to stand at the doorway he came from. At group meetings, it was usually a wise choice to stand rather than to occupy a seat. Being at the edge would give more room for others. The Maximal's presence was noticeable anyhow, so it was no big deal to him.

"Good morning, Airazor, Have you been acclimating well to this metalic structure?"

"Better now than when I first arrived." She replied and turned towards the Tiger walking with her. She smiled softly, happy to see that someone cared. Her response was true, in a sense. When in her room with the flowers, plants and roof hatch, she felt perfectly fine. Being surrounded by Nature made her feel at home and put her at ease. The moment she entered the other parts of the ship, she began to feel uneasy. If she stayed too long in them she would start to either develop a sharp headache or feel nauseated. Luckily, as time passed, the symptoms have taken longer to develop. "I still prefer nature though. My quarters are almost a alive with all of the flora I've found."

Moving through the halls together, the pair soon arrived at the bridge. They were among some of the first to arrive, but still, Airazor decided not to take a seat. Instead, she leaned up against the wall of one of the CR Chambers. While she wouldn't have minded taking a seat, most of the spots felt almost reserved for specific people. Rattrap always took the console to the right of her, often times playing video games of some sort. Rhinox and Cheetor generally took the others.

Manterror woke up early that day to prepare for the next phase of his masterplan. Flying away from the Darksyde, the Mantis scanned the horizon for traces of energon. While Megatron often had more than enough for his own, he rarely provided it to his troops unless they needed it. In order for Manterror to usurp command, he would need to keep his subordinates happy, thus, lots of energon would be needed. With enough of it, he may be able to convince certain members of his team to do him favors as well.

Unable to find anything of use, the predicon almost turned around to go back until he finally spotted something. A glowing blue crystal lay broken on the ground just ahead of him. "That's right, come to pappa! Where there is one, there has to be more!" He spoke to no one in particular. Losing altitude, he soon landed softly on the surface of the planet and picked up the broken piece of energon. It was stable and completely useless. Still, he looked around, hoping to hit the jackpot. If this piece was here, it must have come from something...

Wintersong smiled and nodded, "I know Optimus, pollen is a bit difficult to get off." She said and tried rubbing the pollen off again though her ear twitched slightly. It seemed this was important for Optimus to sound serious again but she did as ordered and headed to the lift to wait for Optimus and Whitegrazer to follow.

Icebreaker rushed towards the bridge, his head turned as he heard Rattrap Sorry! I'm in a bit of a rush!
Rattrap wrote:"I'm walkin' 'ere, fer bootin' up cold!"
He then raised one of his large yellow eyebrows in response What does that even MEAN? he then responded, moving into the bridge.

Icebreaker transformed to his robot mode, rhinox turned handing him a magazine of ammo, which Icebreaker quickly took and loaded into his gun, he then holstered the gun at his side. Icebreaker's expression was rather serious, and as he walked towards one of the ammo racks and pulled it out, he pulled out a few smoke grenades strapping them to his chest, then took one of the maximal standard issue pistols and attached it to his other hip. He looked like he was about to go to war.

He pulled out a small bag, like a backpack and loaded a smoke grenade into it, as well as a pair of binoculars, then pulled out a strange looking dusty tan tarp with a camo pattern on it and bits of dead grass and sticks tied to it.

Rhinox looked at the gear, rather surprised I knew you'd be good at this.. but I didn't expect this much.

Icebreaker nodded Well it's not exactly easy for me to sneak around being black and white. Alright, I'm off, when I'm done I'll radio you guys and regroup with you, if I get spotted and the situation is going to slag, I'll retreat. Beast mode! he then said transforming to his penguin mode, putting the backpack on, then the tarp like a type of cloak. It was a descent camouflage at least and helped him deal with the heat of the sun.

Rhinox nodded You'd better, No reckless stuns on this Icebreaker. We need to find out what she's been hiding.. and if we could ever trust her.

Icebreaker waved one of his flippers, then promptly exited the ship.

Outside he looked over the ground, the smell of the crew was everywhere and their footprints the same, however the roof hatch didn't usually have that much activity around it, he moved towards that direction looking around as he noticed none on the ground directly, then looked towards the river with his eyes zooming in to notice the hard impact of cat prints in the dirt on the other side.

From being around the group, he managed to memorize the walking gates of the group, as well as foot print sizes. Cheetor's was the easiest to detect because of the larger rear paws, while Wintersong and Tigatron's prints were nearly identical, Saber's on the otherhand was most visable by the abnormal walking gate of the Smilodon, the creature was essentially built like a bulldog. Rushing across the river, he made it to the prints. He moved one of his flippers down into a print lifting it and sniffing the soil, then narrowed his gaze Well.. You can run.. but you'll never hide. Icebreaker, maximize! he said to himself transforming to his robot mode, he adjusted his cloak and took the backpack off his shield, then threw his shield down as it transformed hopping on and riding off swiftly following the trail.

Glowstick looked at Cecaelia still in her beast mode falling asleep on the Leviathan, he assumed since the Leviathan was regularly cleaned it probably did taste better then the floor. Though.. perhaps you just need something to motivate her. Like.. offer a date with Icebreaker or something.

Looking towards her he responded I'd be more concerned at the moment with you. Why are you down here? he then said with a narrowed optic band, he would of assumed some sort of security system he set up would of gone off, but she got past it easily enough. As much as he hated to admit it, she was smart, and it was a quality he often did not like.

Megatron looked towards Scorponok Yes.. There appears to be a transwarp signature on this planet. Perhaps just a ship crash, but if any remains of that technology fall into Maximal hands.. the Beastwars as we know it would be over! he then squeezed his ducky again in rage as he stood up, then dropped it in the tub. He then raised his left arm gesturing to Scorponok Scorponok, Gather my forces. We will not stand to let that technology fall into the Maximal's hands, I don't want a single bolt left of that entire ship! he barked the order in a tone of rage, he'd become rather frustrated lately this being a third ship coming to this planet since the beastwars started, it was posing to be a problem keeping the maximals from calling their allies back on Cybertron if they kept showing up like this.

(OOC: Hey, N-K. In order for this to work, can you keep Icebreaker hidden and just have him listen?))

As Saber entered a clearing in the middle of a forest, surrounded by thick undergrowth, she quickly spotted Sonar waiting for her on the other side of it, sighing quietly she walked over to him.

No more lies after this. Optimus is my commander and he deserves to know the truth. She told herself as she walked deeper into the clearing.

When she was standing in front of him, she transformed into her robot form before speaking. “Sonar, I want out.”

Sonar looked at her with a mild look of surprise. “Out? My dear, there is no out, you’re in far to deep as it is. It‘s too late for you to back out now.”

“I know,” She said quietly before saying a little louder. “But… I can’t keep doing this. Sneaking out at night and lying to my team mates, I just want out.”

Sonar narrowed his optics before speaking, fur along his shoulders brisling. “Need I remind you that it was you who willingly sought me out? That it was you and you alone who just as willingly betrayed your kind so I could help you gain control of that thing inside you!” He snarled teeth bared.

Saber lowered her gaze, he was so right. She had betrayed her fellow Maximals to seek out his help. “I know but, Sonar-”

The bats tone suddenly became deadly serious as he cut her off. “I just want you to remember one thing, General Saber-Fang. All I need to do is send this footage of you as that creature to Megatron, then every thing I’ve done, everything I’ve worked on to help you will have been for nothing! Remember that before you even think about turning against me. Are we clear?”

Scorponok saluted and turned to the radio switch at the nearest monitor. He had been itching to return to the battlefield.

"All Predacon forces report to the bridge! Megatron demands your presence! Those who don't show up will face severe punishment! Do as he commands!"

The message should have reached all personnel inside and outside of the base. With all the wanderers nowadays, it was prudent to reinforce commands with reprimands.

Feralnight rolled her optics at Rattrap's sarcasm but said nothing glancing around as the others began to show. She wondered what could be going on still but waited patiently for the others to arrive, just content to remain in the spot she was at.

Seeing Optimus, Whitegrazer, and Wintersong ahead Frilla guessed they were off to the main bridge as well to hear about what Orcanier had discovered. When she got close the frilled lizard slowed and moved on four legs this time to catch up with the others. Though she was still wary due to the device from the previous missions since she was unsure if the others would still be suspicious. Shaking her head Frilla sighed, needing to get past that and focus on now. "Morning sir." She said as she caught up to Optimus.

"It's action time as usual..." Starshadow put the energon cubes in a corner then jumped on the Leviathan's wing and grabbed one of Cecaelia's tentacles, "Wake up, mission time."

"But what about my beauty sleeeeepp?!" Cecaelia's remaining tentacles wrapped around the catbot's back to prevent her from being a swinging ragdoll after the cat rushed to the bridge.

(( OOC:  at una! River dance. Awesome. I did your first post before it vanished and I was like, "What the?!" I thought the board glitched. ))
What does that even MEAN?
"It means I'm tired of everybody runnin' over the little guy," Rattrap muttered at Icebreaker. Watching the penguin grab tons of gear and pack it up, he wondered what the heck was going on.
I knew you'd be good at this.. but I didn't expect this much.
Well it's not exactly easy for me to sneak around being black and white. Alright, I'm off, when I'm done I'll radio you guys and regroup with you, if I get spotted and the situation is going to slag, I'll retreat. Beast mode!
You'd better, No reckless stuns on this Icebreaker. We need to find out what she's been hiding.. and if we could ever trust her.
Observing their conversation back and forth which pretty much didn't include anyone else who was on the bridge, Rattrap squinted one of his black eyes with suspicion. "Where's Icebreaker goin', Rhinox?" he questioned.

-----
"Better now than when I first arrived." "I still prefer nature though. My quarters are almost a alive with all of the flora I've found."
Tigatron smiled at her. He didn't keep much in his quarters because he was rarely in it. If he had had any plantlife in it, it would surely die from neglect, and he could not doom such life. "I am glad to hear that. I do not spend much of my time within these confined walls either. The beauty of this planet is too remarkable to be ignored or taken for granted. That is something many of us have in common."

When they reached the main control room, Tigatron didn't take a seat either. It seemed like no one would, really, but he felt the others who spent more time in this ship had designated places and he didn't want to be in their way. He decided to stand next to Airazor, arms to his sides, and wait patiently for the news.

-----
"It's a shock, trained or not. No one is ever ready for war." "All I can say is that we will learn in time. It will not be a easy ride but in the end, we will prevail."
Optimus nodded at the white mare. Yes, we will, he thought defiantly.
"I have faith in you that you will fight the good fight, Optimus. The biggest thing is that you have faith in yourself. You may not be experienced but when I came here, you could have fooled me."
The gorilla smiled lightly, looking at her. "Thank you." He would remember her encouraging words when situations and battles would get dark in this war.
"It's all right. There is always another time, another day. Though, I wished I had more time to teach you what I mentioned before."
As do I, Primal thought. Especially for what they were about to face today.
"I know Optimus, pollen is a bit difficult to get off."
The leader chuckled at Wintersong. "I'll keep that in mind the next time I inhale a blossoming flower."
"Morning sir."
"Good morning, Frilla," Optimus smiled to the frilled lizard as she approached their group who were about to head inside the Axalon after Icebreaker had already left. "This was a pleasant morning for research," he observed, assuming that's what she was doing outside. It didn't really matter to him what she was doing because he trusted her, but he wanted to be involved with everyone's interests since he learned something with them as well and to show that he cared. ((OOC: I'm going to fast forward just a tad here and save the trouble of going up and down the lift and whatnot. Hope you guys don't mind. Also, I'm not going to count Valkyrie right now because Ven seems to be missing again, and she can rejoin later.))

Entering the command center, still in his beast mode, Primal immediately took count of the present Maximals. He quickly grew displeased to find some faces missing, which excluded Cheetor and Dinobot because he could hear their footsteps approaching down the corridor. "Where are Saber-Fang and Icebreaker?" he asked impatiently, standing on his feet and looking at Rhinox for the answer before they would get the meeting started.

Rhinox sighed as he heard Rattrap and Optimus Primal, Saberfang made one of her infamous runs again, this time I caught it on video after doing some personal modifications for monitoring unusual entrances on the ship. Icebreaker is currently tailing her, it's a dangerous mission but I feel he's up to it. Hopefully all our suspicions are wrong, but I have a feeling that isn't the case. Saber may be involved with the Predacons, or rather Sonar specifically.. that's be the suspicion anyway.

Rhinox then typed into the computer, the holographic display then powered up showing the map location of the transwarp signature Since Orcariner found it first, I guess we'll let the explanation to you this time. Rhinox still felt drowzy from waking up, but he'd get over it in a bit.

Night-Hunter wrote:“I know,” She said quietly before saying a little louder. “But… I can’t keep doing this. Sneaking out at night and lying to my team mates, I just want out.”

Sonar narrowed his optics before speaking, fur along his shoulders bristling.

Huh.. sounds like he's blackmailing her.. interesting..Hrm..so it was Sonar.. he thought to himself silently, but didn't act. But why would Megatron care if she transforms into a creature?.. Can Sonar mass produce those things?..Why would anyone do that..? He then thought, finding the situation to be strange to say the least.

Tarantulus rolled his optics at the statement, she wanted something and was making it obvious. Flattery will only get you so far.. What are you really after?

He then stopped as he heard Scorponok on his computer Oh well.. look at the time. It appears we may have to save this for another day..

______________

Glowstick watched Cecaelia and shaked his head Well knowing how often we end up using the transport, you can just sleep on the way. If not, I guess I'll just use you as a backpack.. I rarely fight in the front anyway. he floated following Starshadow towards the bridge, wondering what was going on as he wasn't near any computers this time.

Megatron climbed out of the CR tank, walking towards the bridge, he then sat down in his chair, waiting for his troops to show up.
