The players who control the important characters are also the ones who aren't active in the RPG. OOP plays Optimus Primal and while she fulfilled her role for this episode, she admitted that the RPG is not currently a high priority for her. Most BW episodes require Primal to be active since he's a pivotal character.
Pfff. You've offended me, Alak! I'm terribly offended. Just kidding! Well, I'm not giving him up that easily, noooo. I think part of my problem for falling behind was losing interest in the last episode because it was taking people so long to post. And then several players vanished again and there was just too much for me to make time to play those characters along with the ones I was already filling in for. So if we start the next episode over fresh and can rely on players who have stuck around since the beginning (I know that sounds harsh but perhaps I've been too tolerant with people constantly coming and going) to help play some canons and OC's, I think it could go a lot smoother with not so many breaks. Temporary absenses are okay, of course. And I truly, TRULY appreciate the people who communicate their absense before they disappear and never say a word until it's a few months later. :? Anyway, I will make time to post because I know OP is a key character. Like I mentioned above, the whole week and two weekends I have off from work will give me plenty of time to jump right back in and keep up in the new episode. :)
I'm still game, if I have to take on some ones canon character I will. That way the game can go some what faster.
Thank you, N-H. :D
OC mission could be an option since there are alot of OC characters around.
Have to say I agree in doing OC episodes, mean we all know what happens in the original series with minor tings changed due to the OCs. That's probably for the reason some have lost interest. But I'm up for trying the OC episodes an see what happens for it too.
I'll bite. Sounds like a great way to try something different just as long as we can have an ending to them and each one doesn't go on and on and on. Or we just have one continuous topic and after so many threads in each one, we close it, start a new topic and continue from there. But I kind of prefer closure and a point to each one so that we're not just doing the same thing over and over (like both factions bumping into each other every so often and duking it out over nothing every time).
We could do that or we could quickly finish the Blackarachnia episode, seeing how the preds already have the pod and fight is pretty much pointless. We could put the pod at the PRed base and have three Predacons stay there to protect it while the others do thier own thing or go and help Megatron.
I don't know that it's worth finishing either of those episodes at this point. I think we should just close them and work on an idea for the next one. Everyone can pretty much assume what happens.

My question is, we had someone who was really eager to play Inferno, so should we include his and Airazor's entrances in our next OC episode? Or just one at a time? Maybe I can find out if the person still wants to play Inferno; I'd hate make him wait through another episode to join. We should also make a list of all of the ownerless OC's and canons so everyone can pick and choose who they'd like to play. Perhaps some OC's will be dropped.
Hm.. an Evil Optimus eh? Sounds amusing. I wonder how Candi would like that.
I think I could have a lot of fun with that, yesss. Bwahahaahahahahahahahahaha!

Blazemane, I like all of those ideas; thank you for sharing them. The one with the Vok might be more interesting just because they really know nothing about that alien race yet. Your first idea would be great for building teamwork and working more with their beast modes (kind of like Dark Voyage).

You are welcome.

I could probably play Inferno. We could mix two episodes together so we could do two episodes in one.

Oh, I'm so game for evil Optimus.

Hm.. Evil Optimus as a prototype to Tigerhawk. I'm betting Orcariner and Steelclaw have the best shot of taking that down. I also think that if anyone wants to use a canon character in that (Or ONLY uses a Canon character) They can also join in to the BW Oc episode. Might give them an opportunity to use the character a bit differently.

Hmm.. guess I better update the profile on the Predacon transport since we attached guns to the thing (Maybe update it a bit since it has so many skilled engineers willing to work with it now) and of course give the Maximals something to use.. maybe not what I originally posted but something nice all the same.

Oh, I hadn't even thought of it looking like Optimus. But that definitely would be cool.

As for Steelclaw and Ocariner taking it down, they might be able to remind it that it's mortal- maybe it even is within their reach to destroy it (the robot is just a concept open to suggestion right now), but I think it'd be fun for the crew to have to think up some other way to kill it.
I understand... you are, after all, a predacon.

Since people have long time attachments to canon characters but OC posters are more active, how about we create OC Episodes where the original characters are featured but canons make cameo appearances. OOP won't be posting much, but that doesn't mean she doesn't post at all. Optimus Primal isn't always around in every single mission, but he's important enough to pop in and out at will. Same goes with the other canon characters.

Ok, I'm just going to go ahead and make a random OC thread about two teams going to a newly discovered energon deposit. If OOP has time, she can go ahead and bring in the evil Optimus Primal twist at some point. If canon players want, they can go ahead and bring in their canon characters. I, for one, am going to include Scorponok since he hardly says/does anything in the series and it'll be good to recognize him. If Phoenix wants to introduce her G1 character, Nemesis, then this will be a good time too. Consider it to be a test topic to see if we can revitalize this game once again.

Okay. Scorponok should be rather useful too at least.

Cool, Alak.

Can I have more specifics on the evil OP thing? I was getting a little confused where this was going in people's threads. This being isn't in fact OP, right? It's just data they pretty much stole to make something appear like OP (like they do with Unicron in the last episodes of season one)? Data that could've been stolen and used from his capture in the alien probe in "Chain of Command." So, there's still the normal OP back at the Axalon (or wherever he is), and then there will be this evil OP showing up at the energon deposit location?

Or is there some kind of Vok parasite thing that takes over the real OP's body and makes him evil?

Just looking for clarification. :P

Hmm, I'd go with the parasite idea, sounds awesome.

So do I. Hey Blazemane, do you think you can have Steelclaw run into Saberfang while she's on her way to the sight after she is finished with "patrol"? But that's up to you.

Yeah, the real Optimus Primal is still around and as noble as ever. The Vok created this new guy from completely fresh materials.

It's conceivable that the two of them could end up in a fight- which might be rather interesting- but it's not Optimus Primal himself acting evil.

I'll talk to him, but I don't always know what's going on inside his head. He'll probably nod agreeably and then never show up.

 ...That would be fun. With myself.

Any logical way this evil OP would appear on the planet, specifically near that energon desposit (I'm assuming)? I don't want to make the Vok seem like invincible beings who can do anything they want at any time. ...Or can they...? I honestly don't know much about them other than what was in the show.

Er.. well the Vok are rather powerful.. Origins wise kinda go like this. (from Wiki)

Beyond the fact that they were aliens, no real origin or explanation for the Vok was given in the animated series. The two story editors of Beast Wars, Bob Forward and Larry DiTillio have their own explanations. Forward views the Vok as the ultimate evolution of either mankind, or sentient life in general, while DiTillio conceived of an origin more closely tied to Transformer history - he thought of the Vok as the evolved, purified version of The Swarm, a destructive, dark byproduct of Transformer reproduction, as seen in the Transformers: Generation 2 comics. At the conclusion of that series, the Swarm was purified by Optimus Prime and the Matrix. Since in Primeval Dawn the Vok refer to themselves as being trapped in darkness and without purpose until seeing the Matrix, the latter would seem to be the more accurate, although it is more than likely that they are merely yet another alien race in the Transformers Universe and should be viewed as such.
[edit] 3H Enterprises

In the BotCon Beast Wars: Primeval Dawn comic, the Vok later return to Earth to create defenders against an undead Tarantulas. Splitting the recovered Spark of Tigerhawk, they revived Tigatron and Airazor in transmetal bodies. They then use the Matrix of Leadership to bring to life the suit used to control Optimal Optimus. This warrior is Primal Prime, the Prime of Justice, Living Matrix, and Emissary of the Vok. Primal and his companions must then gather new allies to face down Tarantulas and the apparently alive Ravage, who was in fact recovered and rebuilt by the Vok. The two Vok that had come from Tigerhawk into Tarantulas' body were also apparently corrupted by Tarantulas, giving him powers far beyond his old abilities.

So... yeah. As for showing up.. as a fireball in the sky or beam of light seems likely.

Thank you very much for that, NK. :D I was thinking along the same lines as an entry.

No worries, Dannn. We're starting with a new episode with no script. So feel free to do as you please with Tarantulas.
