Final TF2 Theatrical Trailer

Devastator's new trick is awesome. I was talking about Mudflap's demise.... he's got like what 180 minutes to win my heart, and with the rumors (or actual fact?) that there will be 43 new transformers in the movie, I'm doubting if that's possible...

Most of those 40+ new Transformers (it is official, BTW) will be bit parts (I'm thinking of two scenes in particular here) or new second/third-tier Decepticons with few if any English lines (think Bonecrusher or Brawl from the first movie). Mudflap and Skids, along with Jetfire, are probably the three new TF characters that are going to get the most screentime in this movie, so you'll have ample time to love/hate them.

Well... that is.... unexpected... So... is Megsie a Triple Changer now, or is he limited to a tank now? Honestly I haven't wanted to look at Megatron's new alt-mode, and I'm trying to stay out of spoiler sites... but I'm failing a little bit...

Still a "normal" transformer, though elements of his jet mode show through in his new futuristic tank mode (such as the rocket pack you saw him get out of the ocean with in the new trailer).

So I'm a little late in posting. It's fine, it's cool. I wanted to lay the fate of the world on my Camaro (even though it's technically a toy that turns into a toy robot), but real life took control of me. CONTROL OF MY SOOOUUULLL.

So, the awesomeness of the teaser trailer, plus the ShoWest (I think that's what it's called) footage already had my mind thoroughly blown. And then this bad boy comes out. Hooooleeeee *8-bit coin sound effect*

SO MUCH AWESOME. CARS FLYING. EXPLOSIONS LIKE WHOA. SAM FLIPPING THROUGH HIS NOTEBOOK IN A NOT SO CALM DEMEANOR.

And drawing on the ground.

OPTIMUS DUAL WIELDING SWORDS. BLACKOUT LOST HIS ARM SOMEWHERE IN THAT FIGHT.

DEVASTATOR. WHIRLWIND IN HIS MOUTH. HUGE. DID YOU GUYS SEE THAT TRUCK HE CRUSHED?! THOSE THINGS ARE HUGE.

WHY IS IT THAT THIS MOVIE MAKES ME WRITE IN ALL CAPS?

AAAAHHHH SO AWESOME.

It's almost a month away, guys. And then... Phase 2 begins.

Of course the toys officially start coming out, in england at least, on the 20th May (about 2 weeks)
