Two more bits of show trivia:
* In "Optimal Situation", Optimal Optimus scolds Megatron with the line "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings." This is yet another reference to G1... though it was a line never actually spoken in the original series (or comic.). During G1's era, the toys' Tech Specs not only had their power stats and personality profile, but a motto that defined the character's personality (even if they were never actually said in the show). G1 Optimus Prime's Tech Spec quote was in fact, "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings."

* Here's a similar principle, but it's even more obscure. In "Other Voices, Part 1", the Vok-projected image of Unicron's head speaks the line, "That which does not become part of the one, shall become void." This referred to the motto designated for Unicron in G1; however, a Unicron toy was never produced during that era. The only official reference to this quote was in a four-part set of G1 character profiles called "Transformers Universe" by Marvel Comics (it was similar to "Marvel Universe" and not to be confused with the TF toy sub-line of the same name). Unicron's exact quote was, "That which does not become a part of me, shall become one with the great void."
