Terroraur pushed Night Terror along till eventually they came to a door where a bot stood guard.

Night Terror stood patiently and listen the Predacons interactions. He took notice of mannerisms of each bot, guessing at their rank, specialization and even personality. Terrorsaur and Waspinator he knew from their files, but some of these others he knew very little about. He quietly scrutinized every bot they came across to to get even the slightest bit of information.

This Inferno holds himself very rigidly. The way he refers to Megatron as royalty... Night Terror glanced back at Dirge and noticed the similarities between the ant and his own minion. Clearly a trusted and loyal bodyguard.
Starshadow said: "Er..Welcome back! I see you've brought "friends". Megatron is waiting inside."
Terrorsaur: "Yeah, he's with Umbra and a seriously slagged maximal right now...Whats up with you?"
Night Terror observed the new bot, something did seem out of place to him. Sadly he knew so little of the cast of characters in front of him, so he wrote off the bot's odd behavior as nothing of consequence. This just made him more determined to get better intelligence on the soldiers under Megatron's command.

Night Terror could hear the sounds coming from behind the door, clearly the sounds of interrogation. He wondered exactly who was behind the door, but had a good guess. Especially if everything was going to plan. When the door opened Night Terror tried to get a look inside, but could not see anything other than the spider bot that was blocking the door.

She handed Inferno the bonds, who handed them to Terrorsaur. The old bat raised his arms up to Terrorsaur so he may put the bonds on.
Megatron said: "Attention Predacons, I shall explain the details later, but you may consider the two newcomers pardoned, their bail has been paid so to speak, yeesssss."
A crooked smile ran across Night Terror's face as he shrugged and lowered his arms. Taking back his sword from Waspinator he readopted his regal stance.

"Well now that is settled, I believe I need to speak with your commander."
Inferno gasped in surprise. "How did you escape?!" he blurted out. "Terrorsaur! Secure her with the power bonds! She is a Predacon prisoner! Terrorsaur, Starshadow mustn't be allowed to escape! You and Waspinator....and the new recuits must go after her!"
Needless to say, Night Terror was a little surprised by the sudden turn of events. He ducked under Inferno's shots, making sure he did not take any more damage in the cross fire. He stared after the escaping prisoner with a look of grim determination. He fired an eyebeam in here direction. She was already so far, he knew he would not be able to catch up to her, especially in his wounded state. His internal repair system could only repair so much in a short time.

"Dirge, engage and recapture that prisoner! Someone needs to get the external autoguns train on her now!" he said turning to his former captors, now comrades in arms.

His head felt warm and congested like someone who was holding their breath under a great deal of pressure and he involuntarily re-opened his connection with Whitegrazer as he lost his concentration for withholding it from her. "All right..." Optimus finally managed to say. "Sentinel... co..." He coughed and gasped for air. "Sentinel's codes." He swallowed and hesitated to elaborate on what he was about to share with them as if it needed any suspense, but all he was looking for was a distraction. He finally opened his optics that settled on Tarantulas with surprising calmness as he stammered, "Ha... Have you... ever... tried... Open-saysa-me?" It was false of course, but while Tarantulas would be thinking about that, Primal immediately shifted his gaze to Blackarachnia and painfully rolled on to his side again, igniting the thruster on one of his feet which spun his body on the floor, and his stretched out leg gave a quick sweep-kick to her ankles to knock her over. Deactivating the thrust ((assuming she fell to the floor)), he swung his leg over her abdomen and slammed it hard on to her stomach, as hard as he could given his current condition. Angrily, he lifted his leg to do it again to expel his pain and rage on her since Tarantulas was out of his reach.

"...Your sense of humor needs work Primal" Tarantulas scowled, shaking his head in disgust at the maximal's bad joke even as Blackarachnia allowed herself to caught offguard by the blasted ape, who was shackled and in worse shape than ever, a foolish mistake.

Regardless, Tarantulas was glad he'd remained out of reach of the maximal leader and sent an expendable pawn into the cage, better Blackarachnia than himself after all. He had made up his mind at this point, he would have to tap into his processor directly to extract the information he wanted, just as soon as he punished the mammal for his insolence. Tarantulas turned the dial up again, trusting that the bonds would exert more than enough crushing force to stun Primal into submission, seeing as that he was testing the limits of his durability enough already.

Una wrote: Before she realized she was too close to do anything, Optimus had pulled some stunt she should have saw coming! He ignited his jet thrusters which made her step back. His robotic monkey foot sweeped her across the floor. She let out a shout of surprise, growling at her own stupidity. For a Maximal who had been tortured, he still carried a punch. Or maybe it was just the transmetal forms? They were still foreign to her and it was aggravating that she DIDN'T HAVE ONE! She tried to get up, but he swung his leg again and it landed right on her stomach.

She felt the wrath of the Maximal leader. She couldn't even breath, move, or do anything but scream in pain at the weight being pressed into her agile form.

"For Spark's sake compose yourself Widow, you can get out from under him now" Tarantulas chided, amused that Primal had paid the spider femme back for mocking his own embarrassment earlier for him.

Phoenix wrote:
Zodiac smiled, an authentic yet bewildering gesture. "My dear Megatron, why do you think I informed you about this issue?" He left it at that, briefly turning around to watch the monitor as the tyrant ordered his troops to release his companions. The Predacon commander's mood was ever changing, going from rage to something resembling content within moments of each other, sometimes he even appeared to be both upset and with a lifted spirit all at once. Zodiac made no mention of this erratic behavior, merely filing the knowledge away like he always did.

"Indeed" Megatron replied, noting how he answered his question without truly answering it, reaffirming his resolve to watch this dragon and his crew like a hawk from hence forth.

Phoenix wrote: Indeed. The shapeshifter placed his hands on the console and leaned forward a bit, lost in concentration for a moment as he accessed all the information he had gathered on the fuzor. She was considerably smaller than him, her frame petite and fragile compared to his much larger and intimidating presence. He closed his optics for a moment, allowing the nanites to take over. The changes occurred rapidly, his size shrinking down to the point he could no longer keep his hands comfortably on the console, then his trunk and limbs took on the daunting task of replacing his own scales with fur as white as snow, ears appearing to grow out of his head, and a tail extending from the fur now covering his head. As the tip of the tail turned black, his impressive dragon wings began the transformation as well, taking on the delicate appearance of butterfly wings, and finally his eyes opened again to reveal the bright green color.

The fuzor drew a sigh as she turned around to face Megatron again, he was now an exact replica of the Maximal. And yet visually perfect as he looked, his voice remained the deep, powerful pitch of Zodiac's when he first addressed his Predacon ally.

"What a strange choice for an alternative mode," Aurora commented in that same deep voice before that, too, started changing. "But I digress.. We do have important business to take care of after all. Now then.."

By now the voice was also an exact match to the real Aurora, bringing about a rather twisted grin on the fuzor's face as he admired his work.

"Let's twist that knife.."

Megatron watched on as the towering draconian predacon Zodiac slowly shrank down into the diminutive, ridiculous form of the fuzor Aurora, perhaps the least imposing out of all the maximals. Zodiac's ability was impressive to say the least, it allowed him to grow or shrink at will, and assume whatever shape or form he desired it seemed...He would make a useful tool for now, but only time would tell if he could be trusted in the long run or would become a liability he would need to dispose of sooner rather than later.

"Maximals traditionally have poor taste in beast modes, though most protoforms, especially fuzors, have little choice in the matter. Still, it is a rather pitiful form" Megatron agreed, smirking in amusement at Zodiac's disguise, especially how his deep voice changed to that of a young femme.

He was half tempted to just incinerate the troublesome triple agent now while he was small & weak and be done with all his cloak and dagger nonsense, but decided he was still needed for the time being, and he wanted to see how this plan would plan out...Primal's reaction to Zodiac's performance alone should be quite...Engaging.

"Yes, lets...Oh what now" Megatron growled as he received a transmission from Inferno.
Blackrose wrote:
"Terrorsaur," Inferno interupted. "Starshadow mustn't be allowed to escape! You and Waspinator....and the new recuits must go after her!" Inferno said frantically! Oh....the Royalty would have his head!!

Inferno opened up a link to Megatron. "Royalty. I am sorry to interrupt," Inferno said over the comms respectfully. "I must alert you to the fact that Starshadow has escaped!"

Inferno anxiously waited for Megatron's response.

"Its always something isn't it? Come on boys, if ya got wings, use them!" Terrorsaur crowed, taking to the skies in pursuit of the traitor, firing a swarm of energy signature seeking missiles after her while he and his fellow flyers raced to catch up with her.

She wouldn't get far, not with the best fliers the predacons had to offer right on her tail!

Meanwhile, Megatron responded as well as you might think....Angrily.

"INCOMPETENCE! MAN THE AUTOGUNS AND DISPATCH THE FLYERS, STOP HER!" Megatron commanded, amazed yet again at how so many things could go so right only to go so wrong later...Was it really so much to ask for competence from his subordinates?

What made it worse, was that he had the wild card that was Zodiac to worry about as well, he didn't care of course about what the spy thought of him, but he hated to be made to look bad in front of a potential ally, or enemy for that matter, especially when it was out of his hands. Granted, if Zodiac learned to underestimate Megatron because of the circus act that was his crew at times, he would be sorely disappointed when he tested his real strength.

"Umbra, go ahead of us and make sure nothing else goes wrong while Zodiac and I attend to Primal" Megatron ordered the octopus, who'd remained silent thus far during his discussion with Zodiac but had done his duty, something certain others under his command could stand to learn.

Turning back to Zodiac, Megatron said "Lets get this over with, I need both amusement and results after all this drama" as he exited his chambers and stormed down the hall, making sure to keep at least one optic trained on Zodiac at all times, regardless of how small and weak he may have looked in his current form.

Blackrose wrote: Her head ached with all the conflicting emotions, but she had heard Blackarachnia's comment about the chip possibly failing....how she knew about the chip, though was beyond her...it was probably something they shared between each other with that fancy psychic link. She seethed with jealousy as she thought about what else they might be talking about with the psychic link. Arachnitron figured all optics in the room were on her. So she took a deep breath and spoke again. This time her optics came back to their usual Hybrid hue and her voice didn't falter. "Let me just make one thing clear," she began, her gaze didn't leave Optimus as she spoke. "I am technically the one on guard duty here," she admitted, though didn't mention that it was a position given to her after tricking Inferno into believing it was what Megatron wanted. "If I feel like I need to shoot you I will, but I will more than likely be punished for that so don't make me do it. You will let Blackarachnia up and then you will stand up nice and slow. No more of this funny stuff. Just answer Tarantulas' questions." She was still conflicted about what she was feeling, but she knew the other spiders were nervous that her chip was failing. She wanted to be sure they knew that the Hybrid was still in control of the body and that she would do what she needed to do. She didn't want to, but she didn't want them to think that she was getting soft or that she couldn't handle being around Optimus. More importantly, she didn't want to disappoint Tarantulas.

"I appreciate your efforts my dear, but the ape is subdued, no need to trouble yourself" Tarantulas explained, still wary of his assistant due to having noticed her optics change color earlier.

Granted, they had changed back now, but with all the chaos that seemed to keep happening all at once around the base, he couldn't afford to let his guard down around her should the chip fail and either her maximal or predacon personas resurfaced at a most inopportune time. It didn't help that she appeared somewhat conflicted about her role in all of this...She could have, SHOULD HAVE, just shot him rather than issue a warning, but didn't...He would have to examine her chip later when he had the chance, for now, he had more pressing issues.

"Help Blackarachnia up and prep Primal, its been fun, but we're running out of time and I'm done playing games. It is time to extract the information direct from the source" Tarantulas explained, putting on a visor and extracting some sync cables, intending to go diving into Primal's mind just as Blackarachnia had done with him back on the Axalon.

"I nominate anyone who can't fly or isn't already airborne!" Terrorsaur said in response to Night Terror's suggestion, already in hot pursuit of the target, and honestly, as the fastest flyer they had, he was more needed in the air than at the controls of an autogun, he figured the ant or some other slowpoke would handle that.

While Dirge was not restrained, he did as his Predacon escort told him. He followed his master all the way to the poor excuse for a base. He was still recoesing was said and all interactions, Dirge knew that his master was keen to understand the individuals around him.

The large bot had remained relatively unphased by what was going on around him until his master gave him orders. He swung round, getting his single eye into view. Single Predacon. Airborne. He did not say anything but he knew it would be difficult for him to retrieve this Predacon without completely destroying her. However he moved in her direction, like he was told.

(Random question.. considering all the force being sent on Star.. the predacons are trying to capture her alive right? )

Waspinator looked towards Starshadow raising an optic ridge.
Starshadow wrote: "Er..Welcome back! I see you've brought "friends". Megatron is waiting inside."

Waspinator was then surprised to hear Megatron on the coms speaking
Megatron wrote:"Attention Predacons, I shall explain the details later, but you may consider the two newcomers pardoned, their bail has been paid so to speak, yeesssss."

Terrorsaur wrote:"What? Seriously?" "Guess you losers are free to go. Ugh, what a buzzkill"

Waspinator handed Night Terror back his sword as he took it.
Night Terror wrote:"Well now that is settled, I believe I need to speak with your commander."

Inferno wrote: "How did you escape?!" "Terrorsaur! Secure her with the power bonds! She is a Predacon prisoner!"
"Terrorsaur," "Starshadow mustn't be allowed to escape! You and Waspinator....and the new recuits must go after her!"

Waspinator's optic twitched as he took to the air, he hadn't even had time to get into the CR tank. His wings buzzed as fast as they could as he soon caught up with Starshadow, then brought up his toxic stinger but didn't open fire as Terrorsaur had already filled the air with missiles. Catbot, stop!

Umbra silently observed the rest of the conversation, watching as Zodiac as he claimed himself to be changed his appearance into that of Aurora, the small fuzor that had shot himself in the back in a prior mission. Umbra tilted his head slightly. Having a similar ability to Zodiac, Umbra himself couldn't transform into someone like Aurora, as his body couldn't compress his mass down to that size,Much like how he couldn't take the appearance of the Maximal's largest warrior Orcariner either since he didn't have enough mass for that body type either.. Yet somehow Zodiac's nanomachines got around these extreme limits. It made the Ninja feel even more cautious of this supposed ally.

Megatron wrote:"INCOMPETENCE! MAN THE AUTOGUNS AND DISPATCH THE FLYERS, STOP HER"

"Umbra, go ahead of us and make sure nothing else goes wrong while Zodiac and I attend to Primal"

Umbra looked towards Megatron and gave a silent nod, then casually walked out of the room towards the bridge. At the bridge, he looked around noticing Quickstrike on the floor. The Ninja shook his head and pushed Quickstrike over a little as he went to the console, starting up the Autoguns and having them start to shoot at Starshadow.

(I'm assuming that's what Megatron meant. Unless Umbra just has to watch the entire base.)

Rattrap wrote:"Dat'll work," "Good. No, the hard part will be ta actually hit the right guy on target.""Sure am," "See what you can do with dat UV dye,"

Landslide gave a nod, then turned walking past Banshee giving the small female a nod as he made his way down the hall, unlocking and scootching his way into the Armory once again. Now he started to rummage through more supplies, getting some more empty grenade shells, when he happened on the supplies for pellet rounds, most notably for making Frilla's acid pellet and ink pellet rounds..

Scooping up the materials, he then made his way out of the armory and back down towards his workbench in the Cargobay. Sitting down at his bench, he took out the bottle of UV dye, then pulled out a syringe and started to fill each empty pellet with the dye. He then sealed the small hole with a dab of glue. While he was going to use ball bearings as shot for the rounds, since they had acid pellets around it'd be easy to just mix the dye rounds with the acid pellets. As he worked, he then started to arrange the pellets inside the empty shells in a pattern of 6 acid pellets and 6 UV dye pellets to evently distribute them, then crimped the shell to keep the pellets from falling out.

She looked at Nemesis who seemed to be unsure by the question she asked, remaining silent. But it was the logically thing for her to do. She knew it.
Optimal Optimus Primal wrote:I will still be paying for my mistake if he awakens,
Who was Optimus talking about? What sort of bot or being caused so much doubt and fear in him? She wanted to know so badly yet she never pushed too hard. She understood there are certain things in people's pasts that caused such agony that no matter how experienced the bot was or how far away such memories were, they always caused pain and sadness. She had certain things in her past that caused her similar feelings. No matter how calm or peaceful she always was, she was not immune to such. She gazed at Nemesis. Her past, whatever it was, caused her lots of pain. Pain that she reacted to with bitterness and hate, lashing at anyone. So much anger. Anger she once felt. Anger that she had to train hard to transform into something constructive, not destructive. Calm. Serenity. She knew she always had to come across as such because her friends, those she cared needed a calming and soothing presence to help them. She was a healer. People's pain came first. Hers was nothing. She rather feel than nothing.
Optimal Optimus Primal wrote: "Of course he was aimin' for them! Without Optimus, dey think we can't stand on our own and we'll just fall apart. Dat won't be the case this time,"
Whitegrazer was having trouble breathing for a second, still composing herself. Her breathing soon calmed down, "Overconfidence breeds recklessness. That's our advantage."
Optimal Optimus Primal wrote:Well, you can sorta keep track of how much time we got, right 'Grazer? I mean, if ya know what's goin' on with Optimus, den we have a pretty good idea how much time we got left ta work with. By de way, Optimus was infected, too, but how's he copin' with the virus and the Preds? And what was dat glow on his chest he kept zappin' himself with?
Whitegrazer had closed her optics, "There is no concept of time. I can only deduce what I feel and judge based on how Optimus is doing. If it gets too much, too dangerous, I will know, but that can be any time. I do know that they need Optimus alive for now."
"Just an experiment of mine," she said, attempting to sound reassuring, "I've been working on this healing gel to assist us on the battlefield and Optimus volunteered to be a test subject."
Phoenix wrote:]"I.. actually have no idea," she grudgingly admitted, "It's a possibility I certainly can't rule out, and a very intriguing idea to boot! There's so much we still don't know about this virus, so much we have yet to understand. We don't even know where it came from, for instance, did this Darkwind guy make it himself?"
"I know our first priority is the cure. We must do what is best to minimize the risks for both Optimus and Nexus as well as those we send in to rescue them to the best of our abilities." She smiled at Aurora, watching the young one's mind at work. That healing gel was actually a great idea. See, Aurora? Look at all these different possibilities. So much to explore.
"He didn't make it. What he did was improve on a technology that already existed, one that he himself had been exposed to. As a result of this exposure we are both immune to it."
She opened her optics, glancing at Nemesis who seemed uncomfortable. Was all this talk conjuring up memories of her past? Whitegrazer really wanted to know about her past, but that was for Nemesis to decide, not her. Dealing with nanomachines that roamed her form, it had to be procedures that were... violating and hurtful. From what she had saw inside Nemesis, that one split second of seeing those nanomachines crawling on her rather than feeling them, it must have been terrible experience riddled with her seeing horrors she didn't want to.
"I.. I think I need to confer with Rhinox. Nemesis, please meet us in the lab as soon as you can,"
Whitegrazer watched in awe as Aurora rushed away. Almost reminded her of how hyper Cheetor was in... about everything. She chuckled to herself. She hoped Cheetor and Banshee were healing up all right. She turned her attention towards Nemesis, still smiling about Aurora, "Something tells me we better follow her."

She saw Banshee entered the bridge. Their new comrade seemed to be doing better than she last saw her. And despite Rattrap's little paranoid comments, Whitegrazer gave the new one her warm greeting, "Hello, Banshee, I'm glad to see you are much better."

Her face then contorted in shock. She bend over, wrapping her arms around her body, breathing erratic to the point her own spark pounded against her chamberless chest. Her body was being pushed to its limits: cracks formed against her shell. Cracks in the armor. Suffocating. Suffocating to the point she couldn't utter one sound like walls building around her, closing into her spark, squeezing it. The images of herself being bonded like Optimus tore her from the safe space of the green meadow to a cell. With the spiders, laughing at her. Laughing at his-their pain. Humiliating their own codes and beliefs. Violations of a bot's dignity and boundaries just to satisfy morbid curiosity or sadistic pleasure. Tears from the agony she was feeling from Optimus rolled down her cheeks, which she hid in the palms of her hands. They were for all the agony he was going through, those spiders mocking and spiting at everything that made her love him. She wanted his pain to stop. She wanted this pain to come to her. Let her take it all away from him! She would rather be tore to pieces, shredded inch by inch than to let Optimus go through more of this!

Easy. Easy, Whitegrazer. Pain can overcome, overwhelm anyone, especially for us Empaths. Especially us! You're just in shock. Just remember, it's not you. It's him.

She felt through Optimus, feeling their connection. She was trembling in all of his pain, bent over to the ground, forehead touching cold steel. So cold. So cold like torture. She hated torture. With every inch of her being. Her hand went over her mouth. She felt like she was about to heave, but with what little she heaved, it was only dry. She needed to keep her head in the game despite the trauma. Her spark wept and hurt. Then she felt something happening. A surge of energy. Anger. It was Optimus, attempting to escape. She maintained her posture, closing her optics. If he could a escape on his own... She decided to tell the others what was happening, "Optimus is attempting to escape." She took a deep breath that was met with a slight cough.

That slight cough turned back into gagging. Breathe. Breathe. She took breaths, but soon, that suffocating feeling overcame her again. This time...ten times worse. Her spark was beating rapidly, pounding inside her body to the point where she could hear it in her processor and auditory sensors. She placed her head against the cold steel again. Her computer was running diagnostics, telling her that her spark was experiencing too much pressure. Beat. Beat. Beat. The sound of metal bending mixed within.

Slag it! Whitegrazer, too close, too close! Listen to me! Green meadow! Green meadow! Optimus needs you to be with him! NOW! NOW! Do you hear me? Imagine yourself with him! If he saw you right now like this? What do you think would happen? He would freak! You would freak, but you got to shake it off!

You need to set an example, remember? You can't have your comrades seeing you like this! This is weak and pathetic! Are you going to succumb to this pain? No! Pain is our existence, Whitegrazer. Get a hold of yourself.

Trembling, shaking, she placed her hands over where her spark, caressing it. Her pain was nothing compared to Optimus's. Her spark pressuring inward like the bonds that wrapped around his body. She was imagining the green grass of the meadow, placing herself back in the meditating stance. Hands still over her spark. If her spark felt the pressures of his body, her caresses should be like she was right beside him, rubbing the pains that the bonds caused them. Radiating warm and gentle hand rather than the cruel grips that were given to him, spreading through out his body. Washing away the agony as best as she could from Optimus.

There you go. Keep control. Keep fighting their cruelty. Fight it with your healing.

((OOC: I will have my post for Ba later. I promise! ))

"Just an experiment of mine," she said, attempting to sound reassuring, "I've been working on this healing gel to assist us on the battlefield and Optimus volunteered to be a test subject."

Dinobot was intrigued by this revelation. He turned to Rattrap expecting an indignant outburst from the rodent. He could only imagine what the paranoid little spy would think about that!!

The conversation returned to the prospect of using the virus against the Predacons.
"That's just it!," "The virus is going to be debilitating for the Predacons, too much so for them to pose much of a threat to our guys. We'll work on a cure for ourselves, of course, but this could potentially give us the edge over the Predacons." "Of course. Rhinox and I will get working on an antiviral agent that can be used as a cure," "It shouldn't take too long now that we've started to figure out how this thing works."

Dinobot was surprised that he actually agreed with Whitegrazer on this one. The peace loving equine was usually the one at odds with Dinobot who would sooner fight than talk things over. But in this instance, he felt the horse was correct. It may do more harm than good.

"On the contrary," Dinobot spoke up. "I witnessed the effects of the virus for myself. The infected Maximals and Sonar were so delusional that they lashed out at Rhinox and myself mistaking us for a part of their delusion. Any infected predacons could do the same." Dinobot remembered how Sonar had hallcinated things that weren't happening and were reacting to them in real life as if they were happening such as when his head whipped around as though he had been struck yet no one had struck him.
"I have no doubt of it's effectiveness as I felt what Optimus has been though since he was infected by it," "Aurora, is there a way you can change the effect of the virus? Maybe instead of inducing fear, induce a state of stasis or paralysis for as much time as we need to get Optimus and Nexus out?" "I know there is such a thing as paralyzing fear, but maybe we use the same type of thing...except without the fear component? Can that be done or would it take too much time?"

"I see....yes....perhaps that is a possibility..." Dinobot muttered, more to himself than anyone else.
"I.. actually have no idea," she grudgingly admitted, "It's a possibility I certainly can't rule out, and a very intriguing idea to boot! There's so much we still don't know about this virus, so much we have yet to understand. We don't even know where it came from, for instance, did this Darkwind guy make it himself?"

"No."

Nemesis' gaze hit the floor as she spoke up.

"He didn't make it. What he did was improve on a technology that already existed, one that he himself had been exposed to. As a result of this exposure we are both immune to it."

Aurora's jaw dropped.

Of course! How could she have missed such an obvious solution? Their cure had been in their clutches all along! "I.. I think I need to confer with Rhinox. Nemesis, please meet us in the lab as soon as you can," Aurora stuttered out as she started backtracking her steps back to the lab.

"Fascinating," Dinobot mumbled.

Auroa retreated from the bridge and headed back down to the lab. Meanwhile, Rattrap responded to something Dinobot had said earlier.
"...we coulda traded the disks fer Cheetor and Banshee instead of Optimus an' Nexus since you already had 'em. At least it coulda been something for the boss monkey ta bargain with but he had nothin'."

"And I would have," Dinobot assured the rat. "But I don't recall anyone asking for the disks before now!"

Dinobot was again surprised when Whitegrazer came to his rescue.
"Dinobot, you couldn't have known about what will transpire today," she said calmly to the raptor. "It seemed Megatron was aiming for Optimus and Nexus personally anyway. Asking him about the disks was just a ploy to try and break him. I'm positive Optimus will forgive your actions." Optimus would.
Dinobot nodded sullenly. "Agreed. Had he really wanted the disks, Megatron most certainly would have asked for them as ransom." Which, to Dinobot, this meant that the spiders were after the information for themselves. But why? What would Tarantulas want with the golden disks?
"Of course he was aimin' for them! Without Optimus, dey think we can't stand on our own and we'll just fall apart. Dat won't be the case this time," he said defiantly.

Dinobot remained silent at that. He respected the Maximals for their headstrong attitudes...the fact that they rarely gave up....but this time was different. They still didn't know how to cure the virus. Without that, it may not matter if they got Optimus back or not. He may be lost to them because of the virus...not to mention, they could lose Rhinox, Orcariner and Saberfang to the virus as well.

Rattrap again studied Sentinel's records.
"Huh," he said as he noticed something. "Sentinel's signatures logged Optimus out of the base with Orcariner while the 'fake' Optimus was here releasin' Sonar. ...Or vicar verse. I don't see any indication of Nexus leavin' until those new Preds showed up and he left with me, Aurora and Whitegrazer. Dis guy's tricky but ain't nothin' gettin' past dese espionage eyes."
"Well, it certainly seems that this Nexus is our prime suspect," Dinobot answered....no pun intended. "Who else was out of the base at the time? Perhaps we can narrow down the list of suspects...." Dinobot, of course, was anxious to clear his own name from that list, but it certainly seemed that Nexus really was the shapeshifter. He had been in the base at the time of Sonar's release.
"Sorry to interupt your discussion but as I've clearly been away for too long, I need some answer to keep myself...updated."

Dinobot looked up at the sound of a new voice in the room. It was Banshee, the new Maximal recruit that had landed on the planet recently.
"Banshee, right? Optimus knew who you were so I'm gonna assume you belong with us. Uh, you can only get answers with questions, You're on de Axalon... or what's left of it. It's prehistoric Earth. I'm Rattrap, dis is Whitegrazer, Dinobot, Aurora, Landslide, and Nemesis here is a Pred but she allegedly got exiled by somebody who's tryin' ta frame her and mess with us. We think he might be a shapeshifter since he seems to have flawlessly disguised himself as Optimus, unleashed a hallucinogen virus dat infected some of us and our Predacon P.O.W. Sonar. So don't touch anybody who's infected 'cause it might be contagious. Uh, none of us are, o'course. We're workin' on a plan ta get back our fearless leader since he exchanged his life for your's and Cheetor's. Questions?"
"Prisoner..of war?! Since when did the exploration expedition became a war?!"

"Perhaps I can answer that one," Dinobot spoke up. "The Predacons stole an important artifiact from the Great War....it was the golden disk. The Axalon pursued Megatron's ship in order to get it back. Both factions' ships crash landed here. We have been at war ever since."
"Now, let's have a brief introduction from me before we discuss about our rescue mission. I am Doctor Xychona but you can call me Banshee since that was a name given to me by my old colleagues. I'm a previous soldier of the Cybertronian Army, a qualified psychologist and a Predacon but a crew member of the Axalon," she opened her subspace and took out a datapad, containing a brief information of herself and gave it to Rattrap, "my absence will be explained later after we rescue Primal. If you have any objections about me being your colleague, save it for later. How do we get our leader back?"
Dinobot snarled. "That is what we have just been discussing and it concerns the golden disks that Megatron stole and I subsequently stole from him," he said.
"Which one is hidden in your quarters, Dinobot,"

Whitegrazer asked referring to the aformentioned golden disks.

"The alien disk is the one I kept. I meant to have Rhinox study it with me. He would be able to decipher some of the symbols on the disk and may even have access to certain files that tell of the original disk's origins," he explained. He wasn't sure how that changed anything. Megatron would want both disks back...Dinobot was sure of that.

Suddenly, Whitegrazer doubled over in pain. Dinobot's hands reached for his weapon out of habit, but he stopped himself when he realized there was no intruder, it was Whitegrazer's connection with Optimus that was causing her such pain.

"Whitegrazer....?" Dinobot started to say, but he realized he didn't know what to say or what to do. No one could see what was causing any of this nor could they feel any of that pain. What were the spiders doing? (OOC: I'm pretty sure Whitegrazer mentioned the spiders so he knows it's them....if not, I'll edit....")
"Optimus is attempting to escape."

"What is he hoping to acheive?!" Dinobot shouted. "He is outnumbered!! He would be killed!"

(OOC: Hope I got everything important....)

"Perhaps I can answer that one. The Predacons stole an important artifiact from the Great War....it was the golden disk. The Axalon pursued Megatron's ship in order to get it back. Both factions' ships crash landed here. We have been at war ever since."
Seems logical. She might want to have a word with Primal.
"That is what we have just been discussing and it concerns the golden disks that Megatron stole and I subsequently stole from him."
Banshee simply blinked at Dinobot, unsure what to say next.
Optimus is attempting to escape.
Now that is just suicidal. Come on Banshee...think! How does one rescue without trading? "Hm...I suggest not to trade the golden disks," now to support her statement, "there is no need to. If Megatron's going to be a stubborn fool. I can be stubborn as well...My plan is we form two teams. The first team will be for diversion, any of you sharpshooters must take out their ship's autoguns while the rest focus on taking them out. The second team will sneak in to their base while the Megatron's lackeys are distracted by our attack but one of you must know the ship's layout inside out and quick on his feet," she paused, thinking deep again.

"If they realize what we're up to, diversion team will have to move in to keep them busy but becareful of the 'polite one'," Banshee did notice Landslide from the corner of her optics. Maybe he can be useful..

===================================================================

Rockets and missles..why them?! Starshadow flew to the side to avoid Inferno's flying rocket missle and an unknown laser and turned around only to find more missles on her tail and the autoguns online. To the left! To the right! Some of the laser shots from the autoguns brushed against her, making her hiss. Terrorsaur was already catching up.

ENERGY AT 50 PERCENT. This is bad.
Catbot, stop!
Starshadow noticed Waspinator catching up with his battle buddy. Time to recharge. She soared high in the sky, setting her thrusters to its maximum speed while Terrorsaur's missles are still chasing her and flew towards Waspinator, tackling him from behind, holding him tightly by his chest and bit his neck with her energy draining fangs while sucking his mech fluid. Once her energy was increased by 10 percent, she slowed down, turned around and kicked the useless bug to the missles, watching him explode. (Asked NK about Waspy and he agreed.) One down, and one more flyer to go.

"Hey Terrorsaur!" she flew behind him, "taking out your missles was a blast! Allow me to return the favor!" she charged up her arms and fired a stream of electricity at his thrusters, "go crash and burn sweetheart!"

((Hope I didn't miss anything out again.))

by Optimal Optimus Primal
"What's going on inside you, Optimus Primal?" "I wonder if Megatron wouldn't mind if I cut you open and see what's inside?"
You could call it an experiment, something you'd be quite familiar with, he thought angrily as he recalled the touch of her sharp pincher slicing into his chest and dragging it, drawing a large scratch across his paint that was already peeling and flaking from the bonds' contorting his armor.
"Keep fighting it, Maximal. You are just making this all-too-fun for us and all-too-harder on you. But that's fine. I like dumb, tough guys sometimes. It's amusing." "Spill it out, Optimus. If you give us the codes, I will fetch you a banana!"
"Release me from these bonds and we'll see if you'd be wise to revise your rather inaccurate statement!" Primal managed to growl loudly without stuttering as he brought his leg down on her abdomen again when the widow's words re-surfaced in his mind. He almost ignored her screams of pain as they had ignored his. Rage was overwhelming his logic and once-peaceful nature. He completely ignored the banana remark. Optimus was tempted to slip Blackarachnia's neck between his knees and use her as a hostage but he doubted it would have worked in his favor at all. First of all, she was expendable to Tarantulas and Megatron, so they wouldn't care if her life was in danger. She did know this, right? Secondly, Tarantulas would still be in control of the situation; a simple flick of that remote and Optimus would continue to writhe in pain on the floor which in turn would force him to release the black widow.
"Optimus! Stop!"
The Maximal Commander did in fact stop when he heard Arachnitron's plea. With his leg in the air ready to drop down on Blackarachnia again, he hesitated as his orange optics studied her's and her weapon that was targeting him. "YOU DARE ASK ME TO GRANT HER MERCY WHEN IT HAS NOT BEEN GRANTED TO ME?!" he hollered at her. It was pure anger, not necessarily directed at her but rather all of them for what they had done and said to him, however, he quickly realized that her hesitation to shoot him was an act of mercy. Maybe. Maybe she just didn't want to fire at him in fear of Megatron punishing her for her action. But there was something in her voice that told him there was a little compassion in her after all. In any case, the mangled Maximal slowly lowered his leg away from Blackarachnia to let her alone because Arachnitron was right; he was merciful. Always. Was it a weakness or a strength? Optimus continued to lay there on his back, his arms forced at his sides by the energy bonds, constricted and beaten, his TransMetal body weakening more and more by every squeeze. He tried to slow his breathing from his recent aggression while Arachnitron went on to speak more, observing her optics changing colors and hues.
"Let me just make one thing clear," "I am technically the one on guard duty here," "If I feel like I need to shoot you I will, but I will more than likely be punished for that so don't make me do it. You will let Blackarachnia up and then you will stand up nice and slow. No more of this funny stuff. Just answer Tarantulas' questions."
"No," he told her firmly, maintaining his defiance, and used the fluid from his cut lip to spit it on the floor as a physical act to show his determination. It stung greatly and his crooked teeth ached. They just didn't get it, did they?
"...Your sense of humor needs work Primal"
True, but he wasn't the comedian of the group. He wasn't looking to be funny, he was looking for a distraction, and it had worked. Unfortunately, it cost him the pain he was expecting. Optimus suddenly gagged, coughing, and cried out, "AAAAARRRRRGGH!" His back arched from the floor as he clenched his jaws, baring his teeth despite their pain from Megatron's earlier punch, and with what exhaling he could manage bits of saliva and fluid from the gash on his bottom lip sprayed into the air with each puff, decorating himself and the floor as gravity pulled the tiny droplets back down. He rolled onto his side again and pulled his legs up toward his chest as if the fetal position would somehow comfort him in this horrible anguish. He couldn't stop the tears of torment and pain from escaping his optics again.
"For Spark's sake compose yourself Widow, you can get out from under him now" "I appreciate your efforts my dear, but the ape is subdued, no need to trouble yourself"
Although it was extremely difficult for Primal to concentrate, he was certain he recognized some suspicion or concern way in the back of the tarantula's voice toward Arachnitron. Should he have cared? Perhaps not. The she-spider had made her choice and this was what she wanted. And yet, Optimus couldn't help feel that this was not everything Arachnitron had hoped it would be with Tarantulas's help.
"Help Blackarachnia up and prep Primal, its been fun, but we're running out of time and I'm done playing games. It is time to extract the information direct from the source"
Primal knew what that meant but he had to keep delaying them somehow. He could feel some of his joints and bearings popping and snapping under the pressure now. It was so much pain. Incredible pain. But he refused to give up because he knew his Maximals would be coming for him. He remembered how sad, disappointed and angry Aurora was when she turned away and left him. He never had a chance to say anything to her or even hug her. So he was determined to make it back to her, to all of them. But this pain was tremendous. Optimus gathered enough strength to see Tarantulas slip on a visor over his head and pull out some cables. It seemed as though he was finally intending on invading the Maximal's privacy. Despite his efforts of securing the information as well as he could in his processor with encrypt coding and the like, he was tempted to erase all of it because he knew how intelligent and handy Tarantulas was with data and overriding obstacles. Where was Megatron? He would sooner suffer the tyrant's physical abuse than let this invasive spider get inside of him.

"Stay... out of my... head," the leader struggled to say in a much softer voice now that he could barely speak. And before Arachnitron and Blackarachnia could put their hands on him in order to "prep him", he ignited the thrusts in both of his feet this time and blew himself across the floor, the loud sound of his metallic body scraping and creating some sparks echoing around in his cell. He didn't care where he went so long as he was further away from them, so he ended up driving himself right into a wall, slamming into it with his back. He deactivated his thrusts as his make-shift bonds flickered, probably from the dramatic force of being squished between his body and the unbreakable wall, but they remained intact and functional. Unfortunately. He laid there on his side with his back against the wall while his mind wandered to Whitegrazer.
"Optimus is attempting to escape."
Escape wasn't the word he would have used to describe it. He had been in a fit of rage, after all the pain and bullying from the three spiders, Optimus simply just needed to exert the fury and resentment that had been building up inside of him. He had no intention of escaping because he couldn't, not while he was outnumbered and wrapped up tightly in these bonds. At the time of his little attack on Blackarachnia, he almost couldn't control himself. Had the nanogel helped peak his aggression? He didn't know. What was Nemesis's warning about the nanites again...?
Breathe. Breathe.
It felt as though Whitegrazer was panicking, unstable from everything she had been feeling from Primal as of recently. Didn't he cut off their connection? It must have been re-established under all the excitement. He could sense her spark pulsating erratically like his while he gasped for air and searched for some comfort in his forced confinement. He stretched his fingers and moved his hands as though he was feeling for Whitegrazer who was just out of his reach. There was someone else with her... TyCross? It had to have been. If things had been getting that far out of control for her, then Optimus wanted to stop it. Her panicking made things even more difficult for him causing frustration, anxiety and grave concern.

With a gasp and his optics closed, the Commander suddenly envisioned the green meadow again. There was a warmth and calmness that settled over his spark that was nearly sputtering under the constrictions of the bonds as they closed in on crushing his spark's chamber. He swore he felt Whitegrazer right beside him but when he turned to look in his mind, she wasn't there. Still, he knew it was her, and as her hand caressed her own spark, he could sense them sharing his suffering and distress. Even though he despised allowing her to feel his discomfort, he had to admit that it helped greatly if he shared his torturing with her. There was a sigh of relief that Primal sent her and a slight replenish to his mind and strength thanks to Whitegrazer. But just as quickly as this transpired, he realized that he was letting his guard down in his cell, so Optimus immediately pulled himself further away from the mare when he opened his optics to make sure the arachnids were still keeping their distance from him. His TransMetal body frame was continuing to buckle under his restraints but it appeared as though he wasn't succumbing to as much pain as he previously was now that Whitegrazer was absorbing some of it with him, but he couldn't let it go on for too long because she needed to concentrate on the other Maximals. Quickly, he sent her his knowledge of the two new Predacon arrivals and that they had been pardoned by Megatron, that he still hadn't seen Nexus, and that there was a ruckus going on judging by the faint gunfire beyond his walls although he did not know who it concerned.

-----
"Rhinox... I know you don't trust me as far you can throw... Me..." "But... I ask that you let go of my arm as..."
Rhinox blinked and looked at Sonar beside him. He studied him carefully, searching for any sort of trickery or doubt with the bat. He hesitated to let go.
"I feel another episode coming... Not the main event, but it's still going to be pretty bad. Again, I ask," "Please let go... of my arm, I'd rather not claw out your optics due to some illusion. Not when I'm trying to help cure this..."
The engineer shifted his crimson gaze from the Predacon to the badger. "Ironclaw, secure the exit. Hurry!" Rhinox demanded. The TransMetal badger would get there faster than he could since Big R would likely trip over his own feet because of his warped visionary state. "From the outside! I don't want to risk you getting infected or Sonar getting accidentally shot down while he can still help us." Big Green would remain in the lab with Sonar since he was already subjected to the virus and take the precautions needed to calming Sonar down, whether it was verbally or physically. He was just afraid that Ironclaw's trigger finger might render Sonar for repairs and they could not afford that right now.

Rhinox had no choice but to release the bat and see what would happen. "Aurora, Sonar has warned me of another episode coming," he called her over his comm. link. "We must secure the medical bay in fear of him escaping."

-----
"Just an experiment of mine," "I've been working on this healing gel to assist us on the battlefield and Optimus volunteered to be a test subject."
Rattrap still peered at Aurora quizzically but didn't dwell on the subject, although it sounded intriguing to him. It probably wouldn't have had the same effect if he had known she had used some nanotech that had come from Nemesis. So very dangerous. It didn't surprise him, however, that Optimus would have volunteered himself. If it was working, he hoped it was helping him now under his circumstances.
"I.. actually have no idea," "It's a possibility I certainly can't rule out, and a very intriguing idea to boot! There's so much we still don't know about this virus, so much we have yet to understand. We don't even know where it came from, for instance, did this Darkwind guy make it himself?"
"I know our first priority is the cure. We must do what is best to minimize the risks for both Optimus and Nexus as well as those we send in to rescue them to the best of our abilities."
"No."
The rodent's optics zipped from the ermine Fuzor, to the mare and straight to Nemesis.
"He didn't make it. What he did was improve on a technology that already existed, one that he himself had been exposed to. As a result of this exposure we are both immune to it."
"You know that but you don't know who he is?" He sighed with some annoyance on the matter until his mind backtracked to what she said last. Immune? His eyes brightened at the same time Aurora's mouth fell agape.
"I.. I think I need to confer with Rhinox. Nemesis, please meet us in the lab as soon as you can,"
"Fascinating,"
"I think we just found our cure!" Rattrap announced with more excitement than Dinobot. He certainly hoped so because then it would be one less thing to worry about, and a huge step forward in helping their own comrades.
"Overconfidence breeds recklessness. That's our advantage."
"Ain't that what we always use against Megajerk and his goons?" the rat smirked until he watched her having trouble breathing for a moment.
"There is no concept of time. I can only deduce what I feel and judge based on how Optimus is doing. If it gets too much, too dangerous, I will know, but that can be any time. I do know that they need Optimus alive for now."
Rattrap's face held some disappointment but he understood. As long as they knew Optimus was alive, there was still a chance of getting him back.
"Something tells me we better follow her."
"Yeah, Whitegrazer. You go with Nemesis and Aurora," Rattrap agreed with the white mare. That was, until the Maximal equine doubled over. Grabbing his gun from his lap, he jumped up out of his chair and rushed to her side. "Whitegrazer! Are you okay? What's happening?"
"Optimus is attempting to escape."
"He's crazy," he said as he placed his free hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her as he watched the mare tremble and appear to be in sheer agony even though no one was harming her. It was the oddest sight Rattrap had seen in a long time. It was like she was suffocating or drowning. He didn't quite understand what she was going through. "But sometimes crazy works," he finally added, remembering the crazy stunts Optimus would pull but would almost always turn out all right. "Hang in dere, 'Grazer," he told her although he wasn't sure she could hear him, and he didn't know what else they could do for her. For the time being, he remained at her side while the rest of them conversed.
"What is he hoping to acheive?!" "He is outnumbered!! He would be killed!"
"Yeah," Rattrap semi-agreed with Dinobot. "You sure you're readin' 'im right? I don't think he'd do anythin' that drastic until he knew we were on our way."
"And I would have," "But I don't recall anyone asking for the disks before now!"
Rattrap found that to be irrelevant. Dinobot should have told them about the disks as soon as he had them in his possession because the Predacons were bound to start searching for them sooner or later if they wanted them back, and he was sure they knew it was Dinobot who stole them.
"Agreed. Had he really wanted the disks, Megatron most certainly would have asked for them as ransom."
The Spy wasn't so sure. Maybe Megadump was going to get around to asking for them later.
"Well, it certainly seems that this Nexus is our prime suspect," "Who else was out of the base at the time? Perhaps we can narrow down the list of suspects...."
"You an' yer team," Rattrap answered as he recalled the list from memory even though it was still up on the monitor, "if dat's what you really wanted ta know."
"Prisoner..of war?! Since when did the exploration expedition became a war?!"
"Perhaps I can answer that one," "The Predacons stole an important artifact from the Great War....it was the golden disk.
I'm a previous soldier of the Cybertronian Army, a qualified psychologist and a Predacon but a crew member of the Axalon,"
Rattrap threw up his arms in air for a moment at the Predacon part but refrained himself from actually saying something insulting or offensive. After all, they just gained a new recruit. Still, what was this place coming to?! Although, he had to admit that her other name, her real name Dr. Xychona, sounded much more familiar to him than her alias. They could probably look up her name in the Axalon's roster and find it just verify her story. Optimus must have known both names if he knew her by Banshee. She was lucky that that subdued any further suspicions he would have had about her. In fact, they were all lucky for that.
"That is what we have just been discussing and it concerns the golden disks that Megatron stole and I subsequently stole from him," "The alien disk is the one I kept. I meant to have Rhinox study it with me. He would be able to decipher some of the symbols on the disk and may even have access to certain files that tell of the original disk's origins,"
"Hm...I suggest not to trade the golden disks,"
"Agreed!" Rattrap jumped in. "Well, at least not actually hand them over," he added.
"there is no need to. If Megatron's going to be a stubborn fool. I can be stubborn as well...My plan is we form two teams. The first team will be for diversion, any of you sharpshooters must take out their ship's autoguns while the rest focus on taking them out. The second team will sneak in to their base while the Megatron's lackeys are distracted by our attack but one of you must know the ship's layout inside out and quick on his feet," "If they realize what we're up to, diversion team will have to move in to keep them busy but becareful of the 'polite one',"
"Look, either way, as soon as we show up, dey're gonna know we're up to somethin' and the only thing we want is Optimus. ...And maybe Nexus so he can answer some questions. So matter what, we're not gonna be able ta catch 'em by surprise," the Spy-turned-Commander explained. "I think we're all on de same page with ya, Banshee, but we gotta find out if the disks got any value to the Preds, specifically Megatron. If so, maybe we can draw some of 'em away from the Darksyde ta meet for a trade in neutral territory or even at our base since we got our autoguns and shields to help us out. I'd hate ta give them the actual disks without us studying them first or make copies of 'em. If we can't get Optimus back with just the golden disks, then I say we use the virus, infect a few Preds with it, and offer the antidote."

"By the way, who's 'the polite one'?" Rattrap asked Banshee. "'Cause I ain't aware of any polite Preds."

When Optimus dug into her again, she realized how weakened her position looked, but that didn't mean she was going to allow this pathetic Maximal leader get away with such an act towards her, "Get. Off. Me! You oversized monkey!" Her words came off with struggling breaths, trying to get some sort of words out of her vocal processor without draining her strength while she was at it! She tried herself to get the monkey's foot off her body when Arachnitron started talking to Optimus.
Blackrosefencer wrote:"Let me just make one thing clear," she began, her gaze didn't leave Optimus as she spoke. Just answer Tarantulas' questions."
Optimal Optimus Primal wrote:"YOU DARE ASK ME TO GRANT HER MERCY WHEN IT HAS NOT BEEN GRANTED TO ME?!"
That was the first time she actually saw the rage within the Maximal leader. Well, this much of it towards them. Many times in the battlefield she noticed his frustration or sarcasm towards Predacons, especially her or the other spiders. This actually made her frightened a bit. Of course, she was going to hide it. She wasn't scared of him. She knew he was all talk and no bite. No way he will kill any of them. She smirked and laughed despite her position undernearth him, mocking his agonized fury towards Arachnitron, "Aww, what's the matter? Don't like our generosity?"
DarkSpark wrote:"For Spark's sake compose yourself Widow, you can get out from under him now
"Hey!" She sneered at Tarantulas, struggling to get up and noticed the sctrached her form had now due to Optimus's stunt, "Maybe I should let you get underneath him and see how you fare!" She gripped her scratches. Her finish was ruined! Grrrr, she will take great pleasure in letting Tarantulas dive into his mind. He didn't know how much she really wanted someone else to be Tarantulas' little toy for awhile.
Optimal Optimus Primal wrote:"Stay... out of my... head,"
"Don't you ever give up?" As the Maximal was laying on his side, she gave a humiliating kick to his body, where the bonds let their marks, as she helped in making sure he will be a good little experiment and be still for Tarantulas' little extraction.

Ironclaw stiffened up as Sonar's mental state started to deteriorat. Rhinox had one hand on him but that did not reassure him much at all. The badger deployed his forearm cannon. It folded out and the barrel hung from his wrist and over his hand. His arm raised like lightning and and remained trained on Sonar as the soldier walked backwards towards the door. Rhinox was right, threat of infection was too high, isolating them in the room should do for now. He passed through the door, closed and locked it from his side. He stood and stared at the door for a few seconds when he foot steps scurrying through the hall way. Ironclaw put his hand out to catch Aurora as she passed him.

"Maximals traditionally have poor taste in beast modes, though most protoforms, especially fuzors, have little choice in the matter. Still, it is a rather pitiful form"
Zodiac, in Aurora's form, chuckled lightly to himself as he eyed the tyrant's movements and reaction. He took note of an opportunistic gleam in the other's optics, even if he didn't say anything that would indicate he was thinking anything other than agreeing with the shape shifter. That didn't prevent the imposter from keeping his guard up, however, his very livelihood depending on his ability to read others. Of course it would be very unwise of Megatron to underestimate him, even in this form. Whereas he might look frail and pathetic, all of his power still lurked on the inside. He might look like the fuzor on the outside, but on the inside he was very much so capable of a strength the fuzor couldn't even dream of. Taking on the form of another did not automatically give him their strengths and weaknesses as much as he put those limitations on himself to keep up the facade.
"Yes, lets...Oh what now"
His interest peeked, the ermine fuzor's ears perked up, especially when the message he received visibly angered the tyrant.
"INCOMPETENCE! MAN THE AUTOGUNS AND DISPATCH THE FLYERS, STOP HER!"
A slight smirk appeared on the fuzor's face as he watched his ally bark out orders to his underlings, part of him feeling fortunate that his own crew was more competent than the impression he was getting from many of the Predacons. "Relax, my friend," he told him with a confidence unheard of from the real Aurora, "These rogues are of no threat to either of us. Let her flee, for she will pay the price for her treachery soon enough."

Aurora kept up with Megatron's accelerated pace as he stormed down the hallways, albeit perhaps with a bit more difficulty given her shorter stature.
"Lets get this over with, I need both amusement and results after all this drama"
The fuzor figured it was time to put on her best show, the facial expression changing to a much more frightened one, as she spoke with a less confidant voice.

"Yes... sir."

Oh yeah, he got it. This was going to be easy.

Grabbing the shackles from the floor as they passed them, Aurora did her best to reattach them onto her now much smaller frame. Unable to make them work the way she intended, she merely took a portion of them and slapped them onto her wrists as she held her hands out in front of her. Then she moved her cuffed hands up to her head, ruffling up her fur a bit.

"Just the finishing touches..," she assured Megatron, stopping at his side as they were approaching the brig where Optimus was being held. They could hear voices from inside. From the sound of it, the spiders still had not finished up with Primal, something that didn't surprise the dragon-in-disguise in the least. Well.. they were about to give the stubborn Maximal a powerful boost in the right direction anyway.

Nemesis briefly glanced over at the white mare once more, taking note of the fact that the other female seemed very uncomfortable all of a sudden. From her time standing there, overhearing the Maximals talk among themselves, she was already well aware of the fact that this other female, Whitegrazer, was in contact with Primal somehow. A fact that could certainly contribute to the obvious pain and conflicting emotions the Maximal seemed to be going through now.

Noticing that the other female was calming down and was now staring right back at her, Nemesis felt as if she was being violated somehow.. so intense was the other female's stare. It certainly didn't help that she was now aware of the confusing set of powers the other female possessed, even if she didn't quite yet know the full extent of those powers, leaving her very uncomfortable as the other female attempted to read her.

Another female had joined them now, one that identified herself as Banshee. Nemesis didn't recognize her by either of the names she gave, but then again.. she wouldn't know much about most Maximals anyway nor did she care to. Being here among them was little more than a means to an end.
"The alien disk is the one I kept. I meant to have Rhinox study it with me. He would be able to decipher some of the symbols on the disk and may even have access to certain files that tell of the original disk's origins,
Well.. now that tidbit of information could be useful. All she needed was the opportunity to sneak away, which didn't seem to be an option this very minute. But Megatron would certainly appreciate having those disks back, even just one of them.
The second team will sneak in to their base while the Megatron's lackeys are distracted by our attack but one of you must know the ship's layout inside out and quick on his feet,"
So many plans and they were still no closer to completing a rescue. Nemesis could not help thinking that the Maximals were going to spend so much time discussing these options that by the time they finally saw one of them come to fruition, it would be too late for their goal. Meanwhile that obnoxious little fuzor seemed to have taken her words to heart, realizing something. It didn't take long for that same thought to dawn on Nemesis too, as she hadn't really considered using her own immunity to aid them. They were Maximals, she was a Predacon.. or Decepticon.. sometimes she wasn't even quite sure anymore. But here she was, and she was almost certain they were about to ask for her assistance on this matter. And sure enough..
"I.. I think I need to confer with Rhinox. Nemesis, please meet us in the lab as soon as you can,"
"Something tells me we better follow her."
"You know that but you don't know who he is?"
Nemesis sighed. "We share a history, that much is evident, but until I get to see his true form I really have no way of knowing for sure who he is," she said, not that it would persuade the rodent in the least. Truth be told she didn't know who had stayed behind after she so abruptly left the facility, as she didn't get to interact much with the others outside of the cells. The scientists went to great lengths to make sure their subjects didn't get the chance to join forces against them, treating them worse than the humans on this world would come to treat animal test subjects in the future.
"I think we just found our cure!"
Nemesis shrugged at that, her gaze following the path the fuzor had taken down the halls. Well..She would have to follow, she supposed, so she grudgingly followed after the overly excited ermine. As she stepped past Whitegrazer, the other female seemed to almost hit the ground from another burst of intense pain. Nemesis tilted her head slightly, for a moment wondering how anyone could possibly benefit from such an ability. It certainly seemed to hurt this female more than it did her good.
"Aurora, Sonar has warned me of another episode coming," he called her over his comm. link. "We must secure the medical bay in fear of him escaping."
Aurora was hurrying so much that she barely even noticed Rhinox' warning, only slowing down as she saw Ironclaw blocking her path. And he looked serious, perhaps even more so than normal, his hand reaching out as if to stop her. It worked, causing the fuzor to stop in her tracks and look at him in confusion and with a bit of concern visible in her green optics.

Had something happened? Was Ironclaw infected now too?

Her answer came when she took a moment to think about what Rhinox had been attempting to tell her, his words playing over again in her mind now that she wasn't so purely focused on one thing only.

Another episode.. Secure the medical bay..

Aurora made one attempt to get by Ironclaw but quickly gave up when the taller male wasn't budging. "We may have a cure," she then told him, attempting to persuade him to let her pass. When he still didn't move, she opened a channel to Rhinox only to repeat that same statement.

"We may very well have a cure. Do what you can to restrain him, but we do need access to that lab!"

((OOC: I'm pretty sure Sonar's mental state has always been questional, lol.))

The moment Rhinox let of his arm, Sonar fell to his knees and gripped his helm. His right wing shot out on it's own and he screamed as he "felt" it being torn out of it's socket.

He kept telling himself that this wasn't real, it was all in head, that it was all an illusion. That this phantom pain he was experiencing was false, but it felt so real!

OOC: here's an image of the ammo type Big T uses to shred up Primal's thrusters, I dunno if they're bullet or beam fire or whatever, I just remembered he used them against Silverbolt & appeared quite painful. http://tfwiki.net/w2/images2/b/bf/Cross ... erbolt.jpg

If there's any problems with anything let me know, I worked very long on this one

Starshadow wrote:

"WASP!" Terrorsaur gasped in surprise as his partner was sucked dry by Starshadow like one of those vampires straight out of a Fleshling horror film, then tossed into the missile fire.

"YOU SICK FREAK! What did you do to him?!" Terrorsaur demanded, wary of Starshadow's apparent vampiric tendencies, even as she snuck around to zap him from behind, shorting out his thrusters.

"You first Nosferatu!" Terrorsaur spat back as he twisted around to fire his lasers right into her chest on his way down, hoping she'd come crashing down to earth with him, or at least wound have a big, ugly burn mark on her chestplate to remember him by.

"Its always something on this dirty planet" Terrorsaur thought as he hit the ground with a loud thud, groaning from the pain of the impact, wanting to pursue the traitor further but in no shape to do so with his thrusters still shorted out and the fall he'd had.

OOP wrote: True, but he wasn't the comedian of the group.
"Ah, music to my audio receptors" Tarantulas mused, swaying his head side to side slightly as if humming a sweet tune to himself as Primal cried out in agony, the sight of him writhing on the floor in agony a feast for the optics.

OOP wrote: "Stay... out of my... head," the leader struggled to say in a much softer voice now that he could barely speak.
"I would have if only you had cooperated with us, but that's no longer an option for you, so now I have to take matters into my own hands" Tarantulas replied calmly and coldly, his shoulder mounted weapon's platform shooting up Primal's thrusters badly enough to render them inoperable, but not enough to make him bleed out all over the floor.

"You bring all of this upon yourself Primal" Tarantulas explained, raising his hands as if to say "what did you think would happen stupid?" before snapping his fingers and ordering "Hold him ladies."

Una wrote: "Hey!" She sneered at Tarantulas, struggling to get up and noticed the sctrached her form had now due to Optimus's stunt, "Maybe I should let you get underneath him and see how you fare!" She gripped her scratches. Her finish was ruined! Grrrr, she will take great pleasure in letting Tarantulas dive into his mind. He didn't know how much she really wanted someone else to be Tarantulas' little toy for awhile.
"No thank you witch, I prefer to be on top, & Primal simply is not my type" Tarantulas retorted snidely, chuckling at his own joke and its implications, amused by Blackarachnia's condition and her distress over her precious finish.

Una wrote: "Don't you ever give up?" As the Maximal was laying on his side, she gave a humiliating kick to his body, where the bonds let their marks, as she helped in making sure he will be a good little experiment and be still for Tarantulas' little extraction.

"He does not alas, foolish though it maybe. It matters not, once I'm in his mind he'll be unable to hide anything from me. The mental plane is where I am stronger, not him. Now, as I said once already, restrain him" Tarantulas said menacingly as he approached Primal, visor donned and cables ready, grasping one of the ornaments atop Primal's helmet to hold him still while his free hand reached for his dataports, his poison green optic staring into Primal's as though he was looking straight through him.

"Its okay, I'm a doctor, bwahahahahahahaha!" Tarantulas cackled wildly as his claws graced Primal's hide, the cables inches away from accessing his core processor as he pried open the side of his helmet to gain access.

Phoenix wrote: A slight smirk appeared on the fuzor's face as he watched his ally bark out orders to his underlings, part of him feeling fortunate that his own crew was more competent than the impression he was getting from many of the Predacons.

"So you say, that particular rogue holds secrets of her own potentially more dangerous you or Nemesis, and I have had more than enough unwanted variables interfering with what had been a straight forward plan!" Megatron growled back, his patience long since expired with every new piece of drama that kept throwing itself into the gears of what had been the well oiled machine of the predacon operations.

He knew if his plans succeeded he wouldn't have to fear renegade elements for much longer, but that didn't mean he had to allow such rogues to roam freely & possibly endanger his plans further than they have already, especially since Starshadow maybe a plague carrier.
Phoenix wrote:

Megatron rolled his eyes at Zodiac's "finishing touches," but still looked forward to the show they were about to put on for Primal, especially if it got him the results he wanted. Megatron grabbed Zodiac by the back of his tiny neck and hid him behind his back as he strode in, face breaking out into a smile again at last as he took in the sight of Primal's mangled frame, truly a delight to behold.

"My word, what mischief have you been up to in my absence?" Megatron mused, stifling a laugh as his minions turned to face him.

"Primal has been uncooperative, so I decided to extract the information we require directly from his core processor" Tarantulas explained, annoyed by the interruption, angry he had missed his chance to access Primal's mind before Megatron.

"Is that so? I trust you intended to contact me first for permission? Yesss?" Megatron inquired smugly, knowing the spider had not and his timing had been perfect as usual.

"Of course Sir" was all Tarantulas could say in response as Megatron nodded and repeated "Of course. Did you learn anything at all of importance?"

"Primal was apparently ignorant of the Golden Disks theft, in regards to both the culprit's identity and their current whereabouts. No access for Sentinel yet either" Tarantulas admitted, hating to list his own failures, knowing he would have had the info he wanted for himself and enough to pacify the tyrant if he hadn't returned so soon.

"Unfortunate, but perhaps an unexpected visit from one of his friends shall loosen Primal's lips, hhmm?" Megatron said with wicked triumph as he revealed what he had been hiding behind his back, Zodiac, or rather, Aurora, to the optics of everyone else present in the room.

"Care to rethink your oath of silence now Primal?" Megatron added darkly, awaiting Primal's reaction, knowing it would truly make his day.

"Unfortunate, but perhaps an unexpected visit from one of his friends shall loosen Primal's lips, hhmm?"
Zodiac in Aurora's form, whimpered as Megatron pushed her out in plain view of the others, looking for all the world as a hesitant and scared youngster. Tugging at her chains, she initially looked a little confused as her gaze crossed the room, green optics widening in horror as she saw the mangled form of Optimus on the floor a short distance away.
"Care to rethink your oath of silence now Primal?"
The fuzor's optics darted from the wounded Maximal to Tarantulas before finally settling on Megatron. "You.. monsters! What did you do to him?," she demanded, voice sounding quite desperate. Then she attempted to make a run for Optimus, obviously not getting far before the tug of the chains brought her to an abrupt halt. After pulling at them a couple more time, the teenager appeared to realize how futile this approach was and settled down, merely staring wide-eyed and pouting at Primal.

Oh yes.. With a display like this, even Optimus would break in no time. On the inside Zodiac was quite pleased with his performance thus far. If this didn't tug at Primal's strings, nothing would. It wasn't even so much whatever Maximal secrets Primal could reveal that intrigued the shape-shifter, but more so the act of breaking him down. Yes, Zodiac had gained access to the weapon systems controlled by Sentinel, however there were files even Sentinel did not have access to. After all it would have been foolhardy to let a single system control absolutely everything at the Axalon, given how flawed even the best of defense systems had been known to be. Still, he had learned enough about the overall Maximal presence through the files he had acquired on the Akira.

No, this was a matter of a more personal nature. The pretender wanted Optimus to suffer as much as possible before ending his pathetic existence. After that, after that portion of his mission was complete, well..
