Starshadow was scanning the area, looking for an animal. "Terrorsaur, it's time we land. I think we're close.." then the cat bot noticed something white and stripey hiding from something then looked ahead. The energon deposit. she thought.
Then, the energon surge finally occur. "Gah! Hurry!"

"With a loose cannon like Starshadow anything could be true or a bluff, guess we'll just have to see in the future." Frilla said still checking her weapon and listening at the same time. She finally looked up and added, "Then again we can't always rule out everything about someone and their claims of things."
------------------------------------
Feralnight nodded, "alrihgt." She looked forward again, wings spreading slightly then folding back, hoping they were close enough to detect any Predacons. But she overheard Cheetor saying they had caught Tigatron's signal so the fuzor was a bit relieved yet also tense. Anything could happen.

Snow Trix listened again and turned to curiously look at the others hearing Waspinator being a stowaway but was a bit more interested in the claims. She wasn't sure what to think of the crazy feline really, in truth she really never talked to the others entirely only noticed some seemed secretive, others calm, and others just plain crazy. Seemed the Predacons had all the weirdos on their side. Not to mention some of them were here for crimes back on Cybertron, least most. Giving a side glance to Frilla the Arctic fox finally spoke, "You say you can't rule out everything about someone Frilla but I am curious. What reason are you here for? Crimes? Stowaway? You never really gave much indications." She said slightly curious of the lizard.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wintersong flicked her tail, looking restless and seeming to almost leap out of her chair. Getting close to the energon deposit and hearing of the possible threat was making the feline anxious and wanting to do something n matter how much she tried to calm herself. But she then reminded herself of her job and finally sat still, though her tail continuously twitched in anticipation.
Terrorsaur quickly descended towards the rim of the energon field. Finally landing, he allowed Starshadow to hop off his back to recuperate from the surge. Transforming now would lead to him having to sit out and rest his dampers when the real fight actually begun. However, his beast mode was ill-equipped to stalk someone through the patches of energon.
"We're going to have to hunt the Maximal in beast form," he whispered to Starshadow, "Think of this as a game. I'll fly around and call out his position. You weave your way over to the called position and terminate the pest."
He began to flap his wings to return to the sky.
"No, Big Bot- nothing so far. I don't think we're clo-" "Scratch that- I'm picking up Tigatron's signal just on the edge now. He's gone a little east of the energon, probably went there after you told him to find cover."
Optimus nodded.
"alrihgt."
Glancing at Feralnight, Primal decided not to wait until it was too late. They may not be close enough to detect any Predacons, if they were out there, but Tigatron could use some company.
"All right, Feralnight. Go. Head for Tigatron's position, and keep an eye out for any Predacons." Optimus wouldn't last very long in the air in his robot mode with all of that energon. For now, Feral would be flying solo but the Maximals still had the
Nomad's scanners to help her should any signatures show up.
One of Tigatron's ears turned toward the sky. It wasn't a natural sound he heard but it was too far away to make it out.
I do not think I am alone any longer, he thought. Stealthfully, without making any sounds, he stalked among the trees' shadows across the forest floor, crouching back down on his paws several feet away from his previous spot. He was ready to either pounce or run.
The truth was, however, that Tigatron had never been alone ever since he arrived to the site. Something unseen had been following him and observing him. Something that was now drawn to the two Predacons and could not be detected by radar.
Frilla paused hearing Snow Trix's question then looked up, "Does my past really have any significance?" She said. There was nothing she had to hide in her past but did not think it was very relevant to anything nor did anyone give a care. Unless someone asked again only would she give any information, but for now she only looked away again.
---------------------------------------
Feralnight smiled and gave a quick salute, "Yes sir." She replied before moving away from icebreaker and the anxious looking Wintersong towards one of the side doors leading to the upper deck. Opening the door she stepped out, closed it and climbed the ladder, pulling herself up but was careful of the crane nearby. Spreading her wings she quickly took flight, trying to avoid falling and flew ahead of the Nomad, "Beast mode." With a growl she transformed and flew a bit faster, saving her energy for the battle that would surely come soon enough and flew towards Tigatron's location.
Searching as she went she sniffed the air for any scents as she dew nearer yet the wind was blowing against her preventing any good chances of smell the Predacons. "Feralnight to Tigatron, I am on the way to your location, do you read?" She asked over the com-link system.
Starshadow transformed into her beast mode as soon as her paws were on the ground.
"We're going to have to hunt the Maximal in beast form. Think of this as a game. I'll fly around and call out his position. You weave your way over to the called position and terminate the pest."
"Understood." the panther looked around and stalked around the trees, sniffing the air to catch any familiar scent while following Terrorsaur.
New Moon wrote:"Does my past really have any significance?"
"None of you are significant!"
Scorponok's optic twitched again as his bad mood returned from all of the discussions around him. The outburst was not exactly the best thing to say before going into battle, but it was an involuntary reaction due to his negative emotions. Realizing that he just created another awkward situation for himself, the lieutenant barked once more.
"Get back to your monitors and prepare for duty! We're getting closer to the field! Keep the turret in sight! Pay attention to the radio for Starshadow's report! Energon disturbance won't make her voice any clearer! Do as I command!"
He plopped himself back in his seat and glared through the bridge's window, mumbling random insults regardless if they made sense or not.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Seeing Feralnight leave, Orcariner exhaled as he ran their current situation through his head. If Tigatron was already there, then it was not illogical to assume that a Predacon scout may have been present in the same field. After all, it was large with rocky terrain and hills with trees bordering the region. Tigatron and any potential opponent could easily miss one another. Energon was concentrated and raw, therefore, personal radar systems were jammed from the environment. On the other hand, maybe there was no present scout. Of course, that doesn't mean that a recon force wasn't on its way. If the Maximals could have a lock on Tigatron's signature, however weak due to the energon and his beast form, it would mean that the Predacon force could detect it. They did have a transport of their own with its advanced technology. Orcariner had severely damaged it in their last encounter, but that would only mean that Glowstick would have rebuilt it and reinforced its weaknesses. It would easily detect Tigatron's presence, and soon Feralnight's, and proceed to send forces of its own. The optimistic situation would be that the Predacons were not going after the energon, but logic and experience told him that optimism had no place in war.
"Optimus," he said, turning to his leader, "I think we should prepare a part of this hanger as a medical bay. Feralnight and Tigatron may find themselves in a confrontation before we arrive. Not that I doubt their victory, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to prepare for the worst."
Ocariner wrote:Optimus, I think we should prepare a part of this hanger as a medical bay.
Ocariner was on the level below, but there was an open space between both floors, and the Maximal's voice was pretty easy for Cheetor to hear.
"No kidding," Cheetor interjected, looking at the radar. "I just picked up two Pred signatures, and they're getting closer to Tigatron."
Frilla looked back at Scoponok and shook her head, "What's got his wires in a knot?" She said under her breathe as she looked back at the monitor near her. She never could understand why some seemed to be in a good mood one moment then the next go biting your head off.
While travelling through the forest, Starshadow spotted a white tiger ahead of her. It seems to be crouching, ready to flee or attack. Hmmmm....it could be a maximal...the panther thought.
She slowly took afew steps back silently and comlinked to Terrorsaur. "Starshadow to Terrorsaur, I've found a tiger. Should I attack it or wait for you to distract it?" she kept her voice as soft as possible. She would not want the target to be aware about her presence.
Glowstick shrugged to frilla, then as Scorponok requested, he focused the ship channels on Terrorsaur and StarShadow, then broadcasted the radio signals on the bridge speakers.
starshadow wrote:"Starshadow to Terrorsaur, I've found a tiger. Should I attack it or wait for you to distract it?"
Glowstick turned his head thinking for a moment.
Tiger... the Maximals have two or three Tigers..two of which are nearly identical. Could be Saber, Tigatron, or Wintersong.
Information wise they knew about Saber, and to what little the maximals wrote up about Wintersong, but Tigatron was a mystery with only data recorded from Megatron's battle in the Tundra.
____________
Icebreaker heard as Feralnight left, then noticed Wintersong again.
Alright, I guess I'll just show you then. The controls are rather straight forward. You use the joystick to control the rudder movements, and the two thrust levers for forward thrust, neutral position sets them to off, and pulling them back is to engage the retro thrusters which are the only means other then turning the grav lifts off and scrapping up the bottom for stopping. That is why we don't want to make the Nomad go too fast, the stopping distance is.. horrible. However there are some tricks to compensate that. By using the thrust levers and effecting the power levels of the grav lifts, you can cause the vehicle to do strafing or some rather hard turns by tilting the weight of the ship and using the grav lift as a means of propulsion.
Icebreaker then points to the joystick infront of Wintersong's seat
That is the control for the crane. Stick movement controls the lift and turn, while the two circular buttons control extension of the boon. The trigger and top button control the cable. Then the rest of these buttons are things like camera controls, standard autogun controls.. things like that. Got all that?
Wintersong listened closely to Icebreaker, making sure to familiarize herself with the controls he pointed out just in case there ever came a time they would nee dot be used. "Think so. Shouldn't be too hard to remember." She replied with a nod taking a quick look at the remaining controls.
Snow Trix was about to say something before Scorponok wet off again and shook her head turning back to the monitor and listening to the transmissions or watching for any other Maximals that might show up. For a brief moment she thought there was another signal, faint like the other maximal signal. "hey Glowstick think there is another Maximal, I could be reading the radar wrong but seems a weak signal." She said.
Icebreaker smiled towards Wintersong Good, took me a bit more time to get used to these things myself. I was kinda worried I'd crash today. But I seem to be going okay so far! Icebreaker then looked ahead into the distance, he pulled back on the throttle a bit to start reducing the crafts speed as he noticed the terrain was a bit more bumpy showing signs of grass and trees.
__________
Glowstick looked towards Snowtrix and nodded I see, maybe it's a scouting party? The signal is going to have interference, much like our Radios, Energon interferes with radars since they use radio waves to bounce off a surface, the energon absorbs the electromagnetic wavelengths. However even worse alot of materials can interfere with the radar like mountains and trees. Similar problems exist in parts of space as well as higher parts of this planet's atmosphere and underwater but for different reasons. Can you give a estimate of the maximal's location? We could attempt to scout it out.
"Your doing fine so far Icebreaker." Wintersong assured him with a small smile before looking forward a bit. They had to be getting close with the terrain becoming this bumpy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Not a total estimate but it seems the signal is heading for the tiger and as far as I can see it's only one Maximal coming. Could be a scout or back up." Snow Trix replied as she looked again. She was sure however this one might be coming to aid their fellow Maximal that was for sure.
