Here's the scoop some of you, if any, have been waiting for.
I will be attending the BotCon this year. Yay! I'm so excited to meet those of you who are attending. *dances* This'll be my second BotCon since the one in '01 but it's my fourth TFs convention in all. I'm also excited to meet David Kaye again and hand him a piece of art. I really don't think I'll be able to let go of my Megs painting so I'll probably draw something else for him, but I better start soon! XD Especially since I don't know who the other guests are yet. o.O
I just learned that my brother booked us a room at the main hotel (I told him not to mention the convention so we could actually stay right there and not run around from place to place). I know the first two were sold out already a couple months ago. >.< Anywho, if all goes according to plan, I should be driving up to RI Thursday morning. I can't think of anything else to say right now except how excited I am.
On another note, real quickly, I haven't had the Internet at home since last Tuesday. Hopefully I'll be back on-line by the end of this week.
Talk to you guys later!

Leaving in Boston: ~ 4:00 July 2nd
I'm going to/from Boston cuz it's cheaper and I'll be meeting fellow BWinters there. But I'll be at BOTCON!!! EEEEEEEEEEEE! n______n

That's awesome, Starath! This is so exciting. XD
A minor change in what I said earlier about my brother booking a room; He was on a waiting list and someone cancelled, so that's how we got a BotCon room.
I didn't talk to him until after work. So, he, his fiancé, my mom and I will be attending. Well, either my mom or my younger sister. We haven't decided on that yet.

Ok. This Botcon's gonna rock so hard our heads will asplode.
I fax-ed over my registration stuff yesterday.
Can't wait to catch the movie!
... I'm willing to bet $5, though, that during the flick, there will be a bunch of Transfans yelling out in complaint/excitment, and it will be difficult to enjoy.
Oh well. xD
P.S: My buddy DWN013 (from TFW2005) shall be joining me.
Woot.

Is the answer to this question "No"?

I hadn't thought of that, Crab, and you're probably right. But I'll be seeing the movie again sometime that week after the BotCon because a couple of my friends want to see it as well as my younger sister. I'm hoping it will be quiter that time. XD There just isn't real comoon courtesy anymore in theaters.

Eh, since this is a first-time screening, I'm willing to bet if a certain crowd gets TOO noisy, they'll be kicked out. I imagine during the really awesome and/or funny parts, there will be cheers/laughs, but I don't think (hope?) it'll go beyond that.... I'm willing to bet $5, though, that during the flick, there will be a bunch of Transfans yelling out in complaint/excitment, and it will be difficult to enjoy.

I wouldn't, coffee. I think it says somewhere on the site or the brochure how long it might take to process the probably hundreds of pre-registers they're receiving just through faxes. Although, last year I never did receive my hard copy confirmation, and I hadn't let them known I wasn't attending until the day before the convention was going to start. *shrugs* But I really wouldn't worry too much right now, coffee. After all, they STILL haven't announced all of the info on the site yet. They always seem to be slow on those things and very last minute.

So how many people are staying for a few days after Botcon? I know Sinead said Hacker was, but will there be anyone else? I'm just thinking, there's no point in going to the pre-screening if a bunch of us are going on opening day/night/whatever-insane-hour-we-decide-on, right? Ditto for splurging on the Primus package - if you don't want the toys and aren't going to the dinner, is there really any advantage? *is trying to comprehend the vastness of Botcon*
Also, since the description of the Newport tour went up, my Mom's been saying how awsome the sailing part of it sounds, how it seems like a great way to spend a day, and can we recruit a group to go? So on my Mother's behalf;
Who wants to go on the Newport tour??
*does a little dance and song to attract people* >.> >.> ^.^ ^.^ <.< <.<
*cough* >.> pardon the flashy-ness ^_^;

Quite a bit of one, if you can possibly afford it. The eBay value for these exclusives is VERY high, it'll pay for a substantial chunk of your trip.if you don't want the toys and aren't going to the dinner, is there really any advantage? *is trying to comprehend the vastness of Botcon*

Depends on how much you like TF Classics toys, really. I love 'em, so I'm keeping the exclusives I buy.
Anyways, a clarification on the whole advancing movie screening by Pete Sinclair, one of the "Botcon council" members:

IF you pre-register for BotCon and IF you purchase a movie ticket you will be seeing the movie. There are PLENTY of tickets. We made arrangements so that barring any crazy last minute massive surge in attendance, everyone who pre-registers will get to see this awesome advance screening. The exact time has not been determined but it will be Thursday evening and it will be a night to remember!
