My first BW music video

Unread post by Blaze Raptor »

I got this strange image in my head about DB and RT singing "Born to be Wild" so I drew that chibi pic a while ago. I knew, though, that I had to make a video whenever I got a chance and I have!

Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxCh-KG5dLE

Nice job! :D

Did you rip the video from the DVDs, or did you record them via a capture card?

I ripped it and used Windows Movie Maker to put it all together.

For some reason when I tried to cut the scenes to fit, some of them froze up on me and I'll have to figure out how to fix it.

One of the best video editors out there is Adobe Premiere 6.0. Of which I use. :D

Problem is, it's considerably pricey. So it all depends on how badly ya wanna edit video.

It's pretty sweet, though. Multi-track editing (Meaning more than one clip can play at the same time), plus multiple audios can be played. Audio and video can both be edited down right to the millisecond, plus there's all kinds of wild and trippy effects. Personally, I think it's worth how much it is. Though I kinda don't remember. ^_^;

I think it's about $300...
Is the answer to this question "No"?

Oh yeah, Adobe software is worth every penny. I love Premiere Pro 2.0. I was using lower-end software (around the $100 - $120 USD range) and I couldn't believe the difference once I switched. Although, to do everything I want to do I'm going to have to buy After Effects 7.0 (I think that's the current version) as well.

Well, I used a dvd ripping program. I searched online until I found one called ImTOO DVD Ripper. *shrug* It had a free trail that let's you rip the first 5 minutes (or something like that). I liked it and bought it the full version. Then I used Windows Movie Maker to put in all together.

Sounds cool. I think it's a little too pricey for me right now. I want to get better at making music videos first (and get the other episodes on dvd so that I can get that footage) before I buy the good stuff.

Thanks for the info! I will definately keep that program in mind and will be looking for it in the future.

OT: *Stares at Blaze Raptor's avatar*

...Do you like Ronin Warriors, by any chance? ...I love that show, and Anubis/Shuten is one of my favorite characters. 8) ..Though hafta say I like Cale/Anubis, too. :)

If you're into that show, do you happen to be a member at Samurai Fanservice yet?

OT Reply: Yep!!! I'm definately a RW fan! Anubis is my favorite anime character and second overall top favorite surpassed only by Dinobot!

>_> <_< So much so that I recently made my first cosplay costume of him as his armored version last week at the Megacon convention here in FL. http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=990536

And, no, I haven't heard of Samurai Fanservice. I'll have to check it out. Thanks! ^_^
