Terrorsaur has grown on me

Come as a surprise, doesn't it? I admit that I didn't like him very much at first much like everyone else. I mean, he's honestly a very easy character to hate. He's arrogant, conceited, loud-mouthed, and always willing to shoot our protagonists in the back. There aren't many redeeming qualities to him at all.

Lately, though, I've started liking him more and more. I don't know how to explain it best but I've found him to be more and more entertaining and interesting of a character lately.

He provides some of the best aerial battles in the show. From Power Surge to The Spark to Dark Voyage, he's proven himself to be one of the most dangerous fliers of all the Maximals and Predacons.

He has great chemistry with Waspinator. The two of them made a really awesome duo throughout Season 1. I hate to admit it but Waspinator just wasn't the same without Terrorsaur in Season 2 and 3. They're like Yin and Yang. Separate one from the other and the universe is no longer in balance.

I genuinely find him to be an entertaining and amusing character now. He's helped to add a lot to some of the most powerhouse Season 1 episodes and it's really fun watching him try to betray Megatron and take over the Predacons. He's not on my top five favorite characters list or anything but I still like him a lot more than, say, Blackarachnia or Scorponok.

I really like him more now than I used to in the past. Dunno how it happened exactly but it did.

You may not have thought he was annoying but trust me, plenty of other people have(and still do today).

I know EXACTLY how you feel Blue.

I personally didn't like Terrorsaur when BW was still on the air... his voice annoyed me... plus he reminded me of the villan from the board game "Candy land"

Wait... was there even a villian?! Oh well... it was the licorish (however you spell that) lady... or man... I didn't ask... well anyhoo.

I've grown to love him as I've re-watched the first season! Probably it triggered in "Victory" When he went balistic in the hole.

But better him than Waspy!

I couldn't stand Terrorsaur for the longest time, but after I read Wayward's "Other Venegance" series (which I highly recommend) he definitely grew on me. He's still nowhere near a favourite character, but I don't outright dislike him anymore.

I've never hated Terrorsaur...but I've never been fond of him either.

As a character he has his good points and his bad.

When I was younger, I thought he was cool because he was a dinosaur but I still don't think he is that bad.

Terrosaur kinda was annoying. But I never HATED him. I think it's weird if yah hate a cartoon character. When he talked to much I sometimes wanted to hit my TV. But towards the last half of season one I loved him.

Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with disliking a character a lot. With every fandom you're into, there's always going to be at least one character in there that'll make you go, "Oh dear God! Why on EARTH was this character even created?!?" That's just how fandoms work. They make you into a believer and then they inspire you in many ways. If there are characters you passionately like, then there's bound to be some characters that you passionately hate and/or find REALLY freakin' annoying as well.

This doesn't just apply to Beast Wars but pretty much every fandom we're into. Terrorsaur just happens to have been one of those characters I disliked strongly in the past but not so much now. I get the feeling that there could've been a little bit more to his character had he survived and gotten further development.
