Nemesis watched the Maximal intently, ready to take action should his body language signal that she needed to. Sure enough, he was showing all the signs of growing irritated, yet he made no sign of acting on it. Apparently not all Maximals were as hotheaded and unpredictable as the badger.

He allowed her to finish before he spoke up, his voice doing little to hide his curiosity.
"What?"
Folding her wings around herself like a cape, the avian female smiled ever so slightly at the surprised look on the engineer's face. It didn't take long before he realized what she was telling him, however.
"You're saying this shape shifter is a Maximal?"
Her smile grew a little wider, her shoulders forming an almost innocent shrug.

"You're smarter than you look," she responded a bit teasingly, expecting him to have more follow-up questions.
"How do you know this?"
She paused for a moment, thinking. The Maximals didn't need to know all the details about her relationship with Zodiac, so she'd just keep her answers brief and concise.

"Because I knew him," came the blunt response after a short pause.

The rhinoceros' irritation only grew and instead of asking her for more answers, he downright demanded it. Much to her amusement, in fact, as she let out a slight chuckle at the growing desperation in his voice.
"Tell me what you know about him, Nemesis,"
The chuckle quickly faded as she looked straight at the male, yet the teasing glint in her optics remained.

"Do you honestly believe that everything is as black and white as your precious leaders want you think? That Maximal history is as pure and free of blemishes as your leaders proclaim?"

Her reply sounded almost accusing and was delivered with a snort at the end. This wasn't the time to be subtle, although the engineer did seem more level-headed than most Maximals she had encountered. She didn't give him the opportunity to argue it either way before continuing.

"At least the Predacons are honest about their underhandedness, whereas the Maximals kept their secrets buried so deep they were never meant to resurface again. All records simply disappear."

Pausing once more, taking the opportunity to reflect on her own dealings with Zodiac, her voice was quieter as she went on.

"Many Decepticons and even some Autobots opposed the Maximal Council's enforcement of the implementation of smaller and more energy efficient technology, so much so that they colonized other worlds where they could live on as they were and had always been. Zodiac and myself were both created in one of these colonies as part of a project to empower the Decepticon race through the implementation of technology of our own."

Well.. That's what they had told them as the experimentation began, anyway. At this point Nemesis was no longer as sure of what their true goals were.

"During what was supposed to have been a routine training exercise, Zodiac was captured by the Maximals. He disappeared for a long time and was.. different.. when he eventually resurfaced. He told me horror stories involving forced reprogramming and alterations made to his form so that he could serve as a soldier in their ranks. He said he was not alone. Apparently the savagery and fierceness of a Decepticon was a welcome addition in their armies.."

She paused again, giving Rhinox a chance to let the information sink in.

((OOC: Sorry, the ending is a bit rushed, but I'm going to be busy for probably most of the day. I think this is the only time I would have to post this. I hope everyone has a safe and fun New Years. :D ))

That voice... That voice which was throwing Optimus in such a state. What was causing such a split? Was... was it the virus? She had totally forgotten about the virus. It had been so silent ever since Optimus' capture. Yes, she felt it here and there, but never did it conjure up what it was now. What was worse was the fact that it was so strong that Optimus seemed to have a hard time understanding or hearing her. The virus was supposed to give the infected their worst fears. It was causing even more aggression in Optimus.

It was like there were two sides from Optimus that she was getting. One side that was desperately fighting back yet swirls of anger and hate were fueling the fire. The fire she wanted to put out. She thought she at least cooled it down by absorbing it, but since that voice appeared, everything she was hoping to prevent and accomplish was dwindling fast.

Then... there was...

Giving up? No. No, I understand. I know of such feelings, Optimus. I... I had them before. she was surprised at herself. She never actually spoken up such feelings before. She didn't have them now, of course. There were times at Cybertron... it did occur, though. Especially, after the war. Though, it wasn't what she had done or witnessed in war that made her nearly... TyCross. He never understood. She loved her master very much like a daughter would love a father, but even he, even he didn't understand what she was going through. He always had talked about her survival, but he really asked for her own say about her life there. It was complicated and she never carried such thoughts. Not anymore. But if you give up now, the Predacons will win. And losing you... We can't. We can't lose you. Not now. Not when you are so close to us. Please, just hold on. It's almost over. You can do it. I know you can
Optimal Optimus Primal wrote: "What's the sitch? Dey ain't here yet?" he asked them as his optics surveyed the area. No Preds were detected yet. "Sure are takin' their merry old time,"
She transformed into her robot form when they arrived at their destination, which, like Rattrap was pointing out, was devoid of Predacons. She closed her optics before she spoke out, "They really are dragging this out, but they should be here shortly. I know of Megatron, Inferno, and Terrorsaur's approach, but Optimus... he is having a hard time." She opened her optics once more to looked at Rattrap. She was about to say something when...
Optimal Optimus Primal wrote:No, Primal sent coldly and firmly to Whitegrazer, finally pushing aside the virus's words and grabbing a hold of the mare's shoulder tightly with a hand he was able to recreate in his mind. I will make sure of it,
She could feel Optimus' strong grip on her shoulder. It felt so real... so real that she felt like he really was standing right in front of her, staring at her with hate and fury. Not towards her, but towards the Predacons. The ones who had beaten, humiliated and mocked him. She gazed at him with understanding eyes as her hand, softly, went over his. Optimus... she had stated before that Optimus, just like a few others, weren't trained for this sort of thing. What he had went through... He shouldn't have. Despite the guilt and wishes she had, she knew it wasn't going to do Optimus... or anyone any good. Seeing the hate and fury in Optimus, her job seemed clear. Optimus, remember what I said in the meadow? We will do what we must to protect and defend ourselves and those we love. Remember that despite all that you feel right now. He needed to remember for his sake and theirs as well. There was danger in what he felt. It could destroy everything that he is and will be. He needed to remember the good, to remember what they were fighting for. She needed to make sure he didn't do something he would regret later. That he knew that Rattrap, herself, and the others were going to do what it took to make sure they got their leader back. No matter the cost.

Her spark... something was growing. Something within her. Was it something good or something evil? Was it something that she could use or would she be the one used?

Whatever it was... she was prepared. Or at least, she was going to make sure no one here got hurt.

She looked at Rattrap, "I don't know what may happen here, Rattrap. All I know is... Watch ourselves. We need to be ready. For anything."

OOC: Sorry for the wait. As I said, I had a final exam and a project to finish up for my class. It's over now so I can hopefully post more regularly.

Here is Dinobot's post. Inferno and Arachnitron are yet to come....need to read over some of Optimus' stuff. I thought that it was all internal- I didn't realize he was saying that stuff out loud, so I need to read that stuff over again. I'll hopefully post either tomorrow or Friday.

BIC:

Dinobot noticed Ironclaw eyeing him up suspiciously, but said nothing to indicate that he noticed. He waited patiently for a message from Rattrap, but soon Rattrap's voice came over the comm. link.
"Copy dat, Choppah Face," he said via his comm. link, letting him know it was safe to speak. "Just sit tight and stay vigilant. Everybody's gonna be there soon. Keep the disk hidden an' safe with Landslide. Only six Preds should be showin' up. Six of dem, six of us," Rattrap clarified.

Actually seven of each, if their suspicions about Nexus were true anyway, but Dinobot didn't voice his thoughts. Besides, if Optimus were as badly injured as he sounded, then he probably would be unfit to fight. So they may end up being outnumbered.....assuming the Preds stuck to their agreement to only bring six, that is....

"Affirmative, Rodent," Dinobot responded. "Standing by," he added and then flipped off his comm.

He looked towards Ironclaw and Landslide. "You heard him. Six of them. Six of us. Stay on alert."

He noticed Landslide eyeing him up with a similar expression as Ironclaw.
"May I see that lad?"

Dinobot snarled in protest. Imagine, him, a seasoned warrior, being called "lad" as though he were a mere child!

"Fine," Dinobot muttered and reluctantly handed over the disk.

OOC: Happy new year!

Landslide took the disk looking it over This is the thing Megatron wants so bad? I guess macguffin's do come in small packages.. he looked puzzled examining the golden disk, noticing the strange patterns on the disk. Hrm.. seems to be math on the cover..

Holding the disk in his palm he took an internal snapshot of the cover, then turned it around looking at the back of the disk taking another internal snapshot. It might not be much, but it might be useful to have. After examining the disk, he slipped the disk away into a compartment on his heavily armored body.

As Rattrap and the others came, Landslide looked towards the group.
Rattrap wrote:"What's the sitch? Dey ain't here yet?""Sure are takin' their merry old time,"

Aye.. that they are..

Megatron wrote:Would someone just shut him up and get him out of here already!"

Terrorsaur wrote:"With pleasure..." "I've waited a LONG time for this monkey, heh heh heh, try not to die on me too quickly..."

Umbra watched as Terrorsaur attacked Optimus, readying to attack Terrorsaur if necessary..
Megatron wrote:"Don't get carried away Terrorsaur, I still have need of him"
Terrorsaur wrote:"Understood Megatron..."
Umbra then came to a halt as he observed Terrorsaur putting Optimus back on the hover platform and carting Optimus away. Umbra shook his head, then looked towards Megatron I'll watch him..

Making his way outside silently, Umbra approached Terrorsaur from behind noticing the pteranodon molest Optimus like a psychopath hungry to satiate his desires.
Optimal Optimus Primal wrote:"Your pathetic," "To have me... shackled and kick... me while... I'm down. This was... the only way... you'd ever lay... your hands on me.. With my surrender. Pathetic,"
Umbra raised his hand making a uncomfortable cough as he spoke up ... Business before pleasure Terrorsaur..

To Umbra, Terrorsaur's actions just seemed strange and dangerous, but as long as Optimus was still alive for the transaction was all that mattered to the Ninja. Though, it seemed common for the Predacons to be controlled by their baser desires and instincts.. Though he himself had performed similar acts of violence while interrogating, he never took pleasure in it.

((OOC: I hope everyone has had a great holiday season!)

Night Terror concealed his resentment at being given such a lowly task as monitor duty. From being strategic adviser for the Tripredacus Council, to being lackey for a renegade who fancies himself and emperor.

At least Dirge will be close at hand. Although Dirge did not provide the much in the way of intelligent conversation, his loyalty and destructive capability more than made up for it. If things went bad, Night Terror would require his services.

As he helped put Nexus on the platform, he saw a vile quickly handed to him. He looked up and saw Nexus nod slightly in the direction of Landslide and the others. Understanding Zodiac's idea, he gave a slight smile as response. He pocketed the vile before anyone looked in their direction.

He turned back an made his way to one of the monitor stations. Now that he had clearance he had far more information at hand. He smiled to himself. This was about to get interesting.

OOC: Just to recap, the preds are bringing Megatron, Umbra, Arachnitron, Terrorsaur, Waspinator, Quickstrike, Inferno, & Dirge to the party, just putting that there to remind everyone who's coming along. I decided to leave Tarantulas out because I'll already have Terry on scene as well so that other players can bring their characters in, & because it makes sense for Megs to not want any of the spiders near his disks, except for Arachnitron but she hasn't earned a big spot on his "slag list" yet so to speak XD

Oh, Zodiac is there as well, but posing as a captive until the real fun begins lol

BTW, would it be preferable if Megs didn't notice the vial Zodiac handed to Night Terror or is it okay if he notices that? Just checking to be sure. Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year! :D
DarkSpark wrote: Ok, Sonar thought with ringing ears. No more beating around the bush.

Sonar swallowed as best his could before looking at the video, just in time to see the creature stumbled and he smiled.

"Watch the video, my lord."

As the video went on the beast; blood dripping from it's snarling jaws, stumbled and gave a pain filled groan before it started shrinking in its own skin, becoming smaller and weaker until an exhausted Sabertooth tiger stood where the creature had been.

"M-Maximize." The Maximal commanded.

Sonar's eyes twinkled as an equally exhausted Saber-Fang morphed into her robot form. The Maximal swayed a little before leaning against a tree and that was when the footage cut out.

"That, my lord. Is the key to your victory, the former Maximal General Saber-Fang. Born with a mutation that allows her to become an unstoppable force of nature that slaughters anything that crosses her path."

Megatron scowled at the pitiful sight that was Sonar, more beggar than predacon, wasting both his time and his patience, but finished watching the rest of the video regardless, his expression unreadable as he observed the monster on the screen mutate into one of Primal's maximals, the feline Saberfang.

"Ah yessss, I'm so sure an ex-maximal general who can become an "unstoppable force of nature that slaughters anything that crosses her path" would be oh so useful in my bid to recover the golden disks, the true keys to ultimate power in the universe" Megatron replied sarcastically, putting Sonar down at last.

"Normally I would jump at the chance to turn one of Primal's own against him, but I already have him and his ilk right where I want them so unless you already have a means by which to control that freak of nature that we can use this information is useless to me, unless the maximals bring her to the exchange and unleash her against us of course, but given what's at stake I doubt they'd take the risk of her killing the hostages instead of us, nnnoooo" Megatron explained, wanting to move out already & recover his true prize, viewing Sonar's discovery as a distraction rather than an advantage, maybe if he had brought this to his attention BEFORE the Beast Wars were about to end he would have deemed it more valuable intel, but not now.

"With that taken care of, the rest of the lucky few who shall be accompanying me on this historic mission shall be Waspinator and Terrorsaur, don't look so surprised we need the air support, Arachnitron, Quickstrike, and Dirge" Megatron proclaimed with a triumphant grin, having taken care to ensure the hostages were well out of earshot first to ensure his little surprise would not be known to either of them, but also stated his plans over the private comms so he would not have to repeat himself to those outside guarding the prisoners.

" Before we arrive at the meeting place, Inferno and Dirge shall burrow underground, masking their energy signatures from the maximals and creating the illusion that there are indeed only six of us, but when I give the signal, a simple blip they'll receive on their communicators and theirs alone, they shall both strike from the ground below, taking the maximals by surprise and giving us yet another edge to ensure our grandest victory yet!" Megatron explained, already imagining the looks on the faces of the maximals when he sprung his trap.

"Enough time has been wasted, Predacons, transform and rise up!" Megatron bellowed, switching to robot mode and taking off through the roof hatch to reach the outside, expecting his troops to obey and follow him however they could.

"Remember all of you who remain behind, obey Spineback in my absence and do what I instructed you to do, many of you are skating on thin ice with me as it is, and if you want a place by my side once Cybertron is at last within our grasp, then you had been shape up and prove to me you're worth keeping around, yessss" Megatron warned, giving any and all lingering unfaithfuls something to consider should they attempt any mischief while he was gone.

Una wrote: Blackarachnia growled. Be silent, Tarantulas. You may be a voice in my head, but I will do what I want. I warn you to stay away. Then she smirked. Her optics brightened with a sudden rush of excitement and thrill. An idea had popped in her head. Tarantulas, maybe you should let me go. After all, the only reason why Megatron hasn't done anything to you or the little widow is because of me. If something were to happen to me, I wonder... How long Megatron would keep you around or your assistant? Maybe I should talk to Arachnitron. I'm sure she will understand. Because she loves you so much.

She chuckled to herself. Tarantulas was a fool. As someone as cunning and gruesome as he, he should no better than let Megatron grab those disks. Didn't anyone see? Was everyone here a moron? While they were too dumb analyzing starshadow, Megatron was getting something that could threaten their survival? Well, she only cared about her own. But still! How could Predacons be so dense? And they complained about the Maximals being dense.

Tarantulas glared at Blackarachnia and retorted telepathically "I somehow doubt Megatron lets me and Arachnitron live for your sake widow, I have skills he requires and Arachnitron provides him with extra troops, something he always craves. She also lacks our...Ahem...History of "misconduct" with him, so far as he knows. As for you, we know why he tolerates you, and that is why you're afraid, afraid once the disks are within predacon hands again no one will have any need of you anymore."

Tarantulas listened to Megatron's words and suppressed the urge to chuckle, instead whispering to Arachnitron while Megatron took off "Try your best to acquire at least one of the golden disks for me, do not let anyone catch you in the act or else it will be the end of you. Now go!"

Tarantulas watched as Arachnitron left to carry out his own agenda before telepathically bragging to Blackarachnia "If you want to share any of your little secrets my dear, now's the time to do so before you're rendered obsolete, hehehehehahahaha!"

Seeing Terrorsaur approach him quickly, instinctively Primal wanted to lift his arms to defend himself but he couldn't move them because of his restraints. He had no choice but to take each blow. Terrorsaur began with his face, the first punch hitting his mouth and causing his gashed lip to start bleeding again and knocking out some of his sharp teeth that had already been bent from Megatron's earlier abuse. Another hit hammered his nose and the third cracked his only functioning optic even more leaving his vision blurry. Then the Predacon's knee crashed into his gut, leaving Optimus coughing and wheezing before his elbow came down and struck him in the head, knocking him right off of the platform as his mangled body hit the floor. He saw blackness and red, his consciousness and rage lingering by a thread. Primal's only relief was not hearing that voice right now.
Terrorsaur cackled cruelly at the sight of Primal brought down so low, the one bot army who'd once stormed their base and destroyed the flying mountain that had granted him power over Megatron, now looked as pitiful as Waspinator after a battle didn't go his way, which alas had been often up until recently.

Painfully lifted back on to the hovering platform by Terrorsaur, he sneered at his whisper and chuckle. What goes around comes around. An eye for an eye. Optimus had lost track of Nexus and tried looking for him as he laid there while Terrorsaur pushed him out of the bridge but his eye sight was too blurry to point him out. Then the Predacon continued to torment him his fingers probing and stabbing his open wounds that were unprotected by his pieces of armor that had long since fallen off. He writhed and cringed on the platform, as little as he could with the bonds controlling him. And he groaned through his severely damaged mouth in the torture and agony of every touch.

"Your pathetic," he finally told Terrorsaur. "To have me... shackled and kick... me while... I'm down. This was... the only way... you'd ever lay... your hands on me.. With my surrender. Pathetic," he emphasized with a spat at the Predacon through his lisp and torn lip. His head pounded and his abdomen ached. Maybe if he could get Terrorsaur to kill him, then his Maximals could still keep one disk and trade the other for Nexus instead of losing both. The pain and suffering he had somehow been enduring was too much now. He felt like letting go. His Maximals would understand, wouldn't they? Would Whitegrazer? Although, he really would like to get the opportunity to beat the living slag out Terrorsaur and put him in his place. If only he had the strength right now to act as aggressively as he had when Scorponok's cyber bee was attached to him. He had been practically unstoppable. Now, he was a wreck and too weak to keep fighting on.
Terrorsaur snickered and grinned like the Cheshire Cat of earth lore at the sight of Primal's beaten face as he looked up at him, barely conscious, barely registering what he was seeing no doubt, until he opened his toothless, fluid stained mouth and ruined it all with his insipid maximal tongue! How dare he talk to him like that? Terrorsaur, King of the Air?! Terrorsaur, Future Ruler of all Predacons?! WHO DID THIS DILAPIDATED WRECK THINK HE WAS TALKING SLAG TO HIM WHEN HE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE STRENGTH TO STAND?! SLAG HIM! SLAG HIM TO THE PIT AND BACK!

"Tsk tsk, no one likes a sore loser monkey, especially one too damn dumb to keep his mouth shut when he has so much left to lose!" Terrorsaur menaced as he grabbed Primal by the throat and pulled a hand back, claws glimmering in the sun...He was about to run Primal through with his bare hands!

"Yeah yeah yeah, I know the drill, killjoy" Terrorsaur muttered as he reluctantly refrained from finishing Primal off, just wasn't worth it with Megatron's newest pet watching over him, and instead gave Primal one last smack off the back of his head and drove the hover platform onward, falling in behind Megatron and the other predacon flyers.

"That's okay, I can wait, and so can you, can't you Primal? Good day to be a Predacon, bad day to be a maximal, heheheheheheheh!" Terrorsaur crowed, looking forward to being part of the maximals downfall, even if he was stuck following Megatron rather than being the one in charge...Oh well, some may have doubted Megatron would one day defeat Primal, but he did, so who's to say Terrorsaur couldn't prevail over Megatron either?

(( OOC: Nasty Hobbitsses! They tricksed us! My Precious! ))

Giving up? No. No, I understand. I know of such feelings, Optimus. I... I had them before

Optimus seemed to calm himself ever so slightly when Whitegrazer shared that defeat with him. It didn't surprise him that she had already crossed this bridge of suffering and torture, she had previously shared fragments of it and he had yearned to learn more about her past, but this had never happened to him before. This was a whole new experience. What had damaged her and put her through the fires of the Pit had made her stronger. Of course, that didn't mean it would have the same effect on him. He had been safe on Cybertron, surrounded by security and authority during his job and duties... and "subjects". On Earth, he was vulnerable, and he was leading the front line. There were no rules here, no doors with locks to keep crooks out, no protection. It was a free-for-all. Hunt or be hunted. And this torrential torturing that the Predacons were relishing in so much was completely foreign to Primal. He had never felt so much pain like this, so much abuse, both physically and emotionally. He feared he wasn't strong enough to handle it.
But if you give up now, the Predacons will win. And losing you... We can't. We can't lose you. Not now. Not when you are so close to us. Please, just hold on. It's almost over. You can do it. I know you can
Yesss, "Unicron's" voice lingered in his mind, agreeing with Whitegrazer on one of the parts she sent. It's almost over. All of this. Your life and theirs. You will lose and take your Maximals with you. Do not fret, for the pain will pass soon. Very soon. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Primal struggled inside, fighting against the virus and trying to grasp Whitegrazer, his hand on her shoulder fading. It was true, he wanted this pain gone, but he realized that what he was going through right now might be similar to everything Arachnitron was dealing with on a daily basis. Well, except for whatever Tarantulas did to control her.

I'm trying, Whitegrazer, he finally sent the mare, though it was weak and not very convincing. ...I'm trying so hard...
Optimus, remember what I said in the meadow? We will do what we must to protect and defend ourselves and those we love. Remember that despite all that you feel right now.
You know what you must do yet you hesitate to take that step every time and now look at the position you're in. Look at the Maximals you've already lost. Fool! There's only one way to stop them and decrease their numbers. You have the power but you lack the will and courage! Now they claim you to be the weaker one. Prove them wrong! Off with their heads!

My priority is the safety of my Maximals, he told the virus and Whitegrazer in a cold, brainwashed-like voice. If they are threatened, then I must stand, I must fight. I must protect them... he clutched both of Whitegrazer's shoulders with his hands this time while he faced her as flames flashed in his fiery optics of fury, staring into her eyes before adding, ...no matter the cost. Granted, he was confused, getting lost in the deeper, darker of the voices that was taking advantage of his weakened state and giving him simpler solutions. Just kill the Predacons. Kill them all. And a very small, devious smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.
"Tsk tsk, no one likes a sore loser monkey, especially one too damn dumb to keep his mouth shut when he has so much left to lose!"
The Maximal Commander huffed under his breath but tried not letting Terrorsaur's words get to him. After all, the Predacon was merely retaliating against what Optimus had said, which must have bothered him for such a reaction. Then he felt the bird's hand around his neck, squeezing and pulling him upward. Bending his body so quickly sent waves of agony throughout it, and the motion caused Primal to gag in his coughs. His blurry optic faltered with its focusing as he tried to make out the sun reflecting on the TransMetal Predacon's fingers while he pulled that hand back, ready to pile drive it into his face. One more punch like that would knock him out for certain. But another voice broke in and stopped Terrorsaur.
... Business before pleasure Terrorsaur..
Umbra, he thought, not really conscious of relaying that information to Whitegrazer but he had. Trying to see where the unique Predacon was was useless, so Primal's audios told him his general location. Hopefully his presence will keep Terrorsaur's temper at bay.
"Yeah yeah yeah, I know the drill, killjoy"
Releasing his neck, Optimus was about to breathe a sigh of relief until Terrorsaur's hand whacked the back of his head. The Maximal cringed on the hover platform and grasped desperately onto the slippery slope of remaining conscious. Darkness then light, darkness again and then light.
"That's okay, I can wait, and so can you, can't you Primal? Good day to be a Predacon, bad day to be a maximal, heheheheheheheh!"
Yes... I can wait, the TransMetal ape thoughtfully agreed. I can wait for the day when you're begging for your life, staring into the barrel of my gun. I wonder... I wonder if I could grant you the same generosity that you've so graciously given me. There was darkness in his thought. Great darkness.

Off with his head! the virus joyfully jeered within him. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Nexus had fallen silent for some time now. Was he still awake? Where was he? Optimus couldn't see well enough around him to find his old mentor, not with one optic that didn't even work and one that had a lot of trouble focusing with distance and then up close. Not to mention it hurt to move his head or do anything with it. He had never felt so weak and useless in his entire life. ...But maybe this is what he deserved. If this was punishment, then he should embrace it, shouldn't he? Take it and make it redemption.

Nexus will be dead soon and so will you. All of the descendants of the Primes will be gone forever. Their and the Elders' oppression over the Predacons and Decepticons will crumble and a new chapter of Cybertron will begin! You can't stop it. Megatron will wear the crown!

"Dere's gotta be pretty significant information on 'em for Megatron ta want them so badly," Rattrap explained as he walked up the hill toward Landslide, Dinobot and Ironclaw. "Too bad we ain't gonna find out for ourselves, but we gotta get Optimus and Nexus back. Without them, we're gonna lose no matter what and the disks'll be pointless fer us." Turning around, Rattrap took in their surroundings, seemingly thoughtful before glancing at Whitegrazer.
"They really are dragging this out, but they should be here shortly. I know of Megatron, Inferno, and Terrorsaur's approach, but Optimus... he is having a hard time."
The rodent took a mental note of the names she listed. "Well, tell 'im ta hang in there. Tough it out. We're gonna save his monkey butt this time." He sounded confident enough but he had no idea what Nexus and Primal had been through; his confidence might shatter as soon as he sees them.

"This is a good vantage point fer us," the Spy said in his surveillance as all of them stood on the higher elevation. "Kind of a rocky terrain." There was grass but big boulders and rocks littered the ground, both above and probably deep below. From here they'd be able to spot the Predacons easily if they were coming from the Darksyde's direction.

"Ironclaw, didn't you say somethin' about havin' a plan?" he asked the badger, still curious to hear about it to see if it was actually going to be beneficial for them or put others' lives in danger.

-----
"You're smarter than you look,"
Rhinox narrowed his optics at Nemesis for a moment while she wrapped her wings around herself, slightly insulted by her words even if she was just teasing.
"Because I knew him,"
Now she admits it. Or finally remembered from any way that Zodiac might have told her or triggered a memory. Either way, he eagerly anticipated more information about this mysterious bot.
"Do you honestly believe that everything is as black and white as your precious leaders want you think? That Maximal history is as pure and free of blemishes as your leaders proclaim?"
"No," he told the Predacon straight up. Like Optimus, Rhinox was suspicious and disagreeable of the Elders' and their "ways" with control, experiments and oppression. He wasn't fond of how others were treated, especially if it was against their will, no matter their allegiance.
"At least the Predacons are honest about their underhandedness, whereas the Maximals kept their secrets buried so deep they were never meant to resurface again. All records simply disappear."
Well, she was right about that. Still, what some Predacons did and were doing was no better than the High Council, even if they were doing it in retaliation because of the Council's actions. It was an endless cycle that hardly seemed worth fighting so long as the corruption continued.
"Many Decepticons and even some Autobots opposed the Maximal Council's enforcement of the implementation of smaller and more energy efficient technology, so much so that they colonized other worlds where they could live on as they were and had always been. Zodiac and myself were both created in one of these colonies as part of a project to empower the Decepticon race through the implementation of technology of our own." "During what was supposed to have been a routine training exercise, Zodiac was captured by the Maximals.
Rhinox's face grew somber and there was empathy in his crimson optics as he listened. Clearly there were many horrors that he wasn't aware of. In his earlier years, the rhinoceros worked off of the grid as a mechanic and an engineer for some innocent crews and some pretty shady ones, sometimes getting mixed up in the wrong crowds. Fortunately, his robust stature usually deterred aggressors away from him, but there were some small battles that he been involved with. Rhinox dreamed of a day to join an exploration crew and see the worlds beyond Cybertron; the places to go were endless in his curious mind for new ideas and technology that were discovered or developed elsewhere given the means and materials that were provided by the planets and their inhabitants. But in order to do that, he had to join the academy where he honed his skills, acquired new ones like medical and science engineering, and inevitably met a younger recruit in the Science and Technology Development department named Optimus. Both having a lot in common, their friendship bonded quickly. It was a highly classified area where his new friend had already been deeply involved in certain projects. Rhinox had only just touched the surface of what was going on there before Optimus was assigned to his own ship and a crew to partake in a secret mission that only he and his younger friend were burdened with the knowledge of knowing. And to this day, neither of them had spoken of it to any of their crew members. Did it even matter now that all the pods had been dispersed across the planet? What were the chances of that protoform's survival? In Rhinox's opinion, highly probable. And the secret would show itself eventually; it was only a matter of time. In any case, Rhinox was somewhat familiar with the experiments, tests, and the reprogramming that the Elder's forced upon those who didn't want it. However, Zodiac's and her name didn't register with him, so they must have been subjugated to their horrors long before he had joined the academy. ...Just how long has this been going on? he pondered with some sadness... and concern. Now he understood why Nemesis behaved the way she did and wondered if she would have been different had she not been put through such torture and heartless experiments. Perhaps this was why Optimus allowed her to seek shelter with them because she had already told him some of this back when they were holding her prisoner and he sought pity on her or wanted to prove that not all Maximals followed the Elders and condemned all Predacons. If there was anyone who could take entrusted secrets to their grave, it was Optimus. He was a vault, it seemed.

The engineer wanted to express his apologies to her for everything that she had been through, but he didn't think she'd care too much for it or bother acknowledging something like that from a Maximal. "So, what... or who brought him here? I can't imagine that you're the only reason, or that he just enjoys cruising the universe and wreaking havoc on every planet he comes across. After all, no one seems to know where and when we are. Not even a probe from Cybertron found us before." Rhinox paused, wondering if that was all a conspiracy, too. Did someone on their home planet actually know exactly where they were? It couldn't have just been a coincidence for all of these ships to keep showing up and crashing on prehistoric Earth in the exact day and year they were in causing more problems for them. Did it have anything to do with the Vok, too? But if Zodiac wasn't hunting her, who else could he be after? Or what? Maybe the answer was on those golden disks.
"Well, that's just prime!"

Blackarachnia just rolled her optics. Arachnitron may not be on Megatron's watchlist, but she was a spider just like Tarantulas and her. Megatron would just keep a precaution on her. Ironclaw drew away from Dinobot and Landslide as he began to lose interest in the raptor's suspicious behaviour, they were about to hand it over to the Predacon's anyway. The badger had stopped listening to the beetle as he a made some distance form them and crouched down to examine the terrain. His optics lazily scanned the ground in front of him. He pushed his hand to the ground, stabbing it with his fingers. This was going to be pivotal point in the "Beast wars" as Optimus had so aptly put it in the logs. Ironclaw had decided that this was a point where he would have to show what he was really about. He wasn't necessarily bothered what people thought but he knew a motivated team was much more likely to succeed, given that emotions did run high. He'd have to prove himself. The dirtied hand gripped slightly, parting some dirt from its origins. He flipped his hand over and looked at it for a second. The Maximals had got the wrong idea about him. He did care. There was no personal connection between him and Optimus, they weren't friends, he didn't even like the ape but he was a Maximal. All that mattered to Ironclaw was. Not. One. More. He crushed the dirt in his hand and as it spilled between his fingers he rose up and turned around.

The badger approached the Maximals as more arrived, namely Rattrap and Whitegrazer. He listened to what they had to say and to his surprise the female's mystic qualities may have given them some useful information. Ironclaw noticed that Wintersong had come along for the exchange. A part of him missed her but he put it aside quickly when Rattrap asked after him.

"The disk is no mere trinket" he addressed not only Rattrap but the rest of the group. He knew that Megatron wanted it enough to even agree to a trade, it had a significant strategic value which was only emphasized by Dinobot. "I suspect Megatron will bring more with him to secure disk. Which most likely means there will be a fight. I think we should all prepare for combat, there's plenty of cover here to provide support for a small team.. or even one to go in rescue Optimus, and Nexus" Ironclaw momentarily paused to look at all the faces.

Optimal Optimus Primal wrote: "Well, tell 'im ta hang in there. Tough it out. We're gonna save his monkey butt this time."
"It is hard... It is hard for him, Rattrap." She closed her optics. One lone tear went down her right cheek. It was one tear of sorrow and one of anguish. The injuries Optimus suffered rippled throughout her body. The emotional turmoil he was going through, but there was more going on inside Optimus. It was the virus, attacking Optimus in such a weakened state. She could feel his thoughts, feel the intensity of his emotions and a heated conviction. It was so overwhelming. She tried to keep a handle on it, for Optimus' and everyone's sake.
Optimal Optimus Primal wrote:My priority is the safety of my Maximals, he told the virus and Whitegrazer in a cold, brainwashed-like voice. If they are threatened, then I must stand, I must fight. I must protect them... he clutched both of Whitegrazer's shoulders with his hands this time while he faced her as flames flashed in his fiery optics of fury, staring into her eyes before adding, ...no matter the cost.
Optimus? She saw the fire in his eyes, the voice that just sounded so automatic. She needed to fight it. She needed to help him. She needed him to focus. Who else is with you besides the ones I know already? Please, do the best you can. Who else do you see? This was her way to try and help Optimus focus on her and what was going on around him. To try and have some of his own senses, not the virus nor its voice. Umbra? Umbra is with him.

"Umbra... he is also coming."

Optimus, I know it is difficult. This can really help us. To prepare ourselves if anything happens. Who else is with you? What is going on around you? She needed to snap Optimus out of it. Hopefully, this would work. Hopefully, it wasn't too late.

You can't allow the Predacons to get the disks.

TyCross?

Do you hear me? Don't let the Predacons have the disks.

I know, but...

NO! No buts, Whitegrazer. Look at what they have done! What do you think Megatron would do with those disks? Unlike your slow Maximal comrades, he will use them. Chaos! Anarchy! Genocide! He will crush you. He will crush you all!

It's not over y-

Optimus' arms, which had latched on to her, changed into TyCross' and his entire purple and black form loomed over her with a face similar in fury and anger. Don't you understand?! He started shaking her with the ferociousness of his words. This isn't about ideology anymore! This is about survival! They will kill you! All of you! Playing nice is going to gather points in your favor! Not anymore! Those Predacons are lost! No amount of compassion is going to sway their opinions! They just want to kill you. Kill you all! LOOK AT WHAT THEY DID TO OPTIMUS!!!

Don't... Stop it.

They tortured him! They laughed! They mocked! They humilated him! You feel it! You know what that does to someone!

Stop.

Remember the pain Aurora has felt! The shot towards her spark from the shapeshifter. No remorse. No mercy. Remember the pain Optimus has been through. He has died once as that purple tyrant gloated and laughed at his face, but he is slowly dying now. A slow, painful death. Remember their pain! REMEMBER IT! Remember it as Megatron and the Predacons continue to hurt those you love. All those you lost. Watch as they all slowly, painfully die right in front of you...

I SAID- the voice she carried was calm, but there was a subtle hint of a storm within those words. Before she push TyCross off her. STOP.

Tell that to the Predacons.

TyCross disappeared like dust. She did remember. She remembered Aurora's shattered chest plate. Pieces of it still scratched her optics. Mech fluid flooding the ground. The stains of Aurora's fluid still bore themselves on her knees and hands. All the beatings Optimus endure, the words of accusation thrown at him that he didn't deserve. She started shaking in grief. Why... Why so cruel? She shuttered. Her spark beating against her chest like a war drum. Optimus...I want to heal. I want to save. I want... Let me. Let me be the voice of your anguish. Let me show the Predacons want they did to you. Let me stop them. Save your energy. Focus.

(Basically I got complaints about being able to dig through rock with a drill, even with reduced speed. So.. I was like "screw it." But yes, we can move on. Also to note, Rattrap probably wouldn't be the only one to notice, you have three diggers there and one of them actively spends his free time underground mining so as to not eat the Maximals out of supplies.. Well, guess we can use tunneling for the Maximals then too at some point. )

Rattrap wrote:"Dere's gotta be pretty significant information on 'em for Megatron ta want them so badly," "Too bad we ain't gonna find out for ourselves, but we gotta get Optimus and Nexus back. Without them, we're gonna lose no matter what and the disks'll be pointless fer us."

Landslide rubbed his chin listening Well, if you can get to them without them noticing.. But we don't know how bad their condition is..If they're too injured ta walk, you can't carry them both and protect yourself. That's why Rattrap wanted me ta come along since I can carry both of them.. but if you want to do yer plan lad.. it'd be best if you worked with someone.. like Dinobot or Whitegrazer. They should be strong enough to carry Optimus or this Nexus fella while you got yer hands full.

Landslide then pulled out one of the syringes he was carrying from the handful that Aurora had given him(I'm assuming handful because Saberfang also needs to be cured) You'll also need to make sure ta inject Optimus with this before you touch him, otherwise you'll end up infected like the others.

Landslide then looked at some of the boulders in the area and sticking up from the ground, then looked towards Rattrap. Hrm.. Would you like me to move some of these boulders closer together lad? Shouldn't be any trouble in my beast mode.

Megatron wrote:"With that taken care of, the rest of the lucky few who shall be accompanying me on this historic mission shall be Waspinator and Terrorsaur, don't look so surprised we need the air support, Arachnitron, Quickstrike, and Dirge"

" Before we arrive at the meeting place, Inferno and Dirge shall burrow underground, masking their energy signatures from the maximals and creating the illusion that there are indeed only six of us, but when I give the signal, a simple blip they'll receive on their communicators and theirs alone, they shall both strike from the ground below, taking the maximals by surprise and giving us yet another edge to ensure our grandest victory yet!"

"Enough time has been wasted, Predacons, transform and rise up!"

Waspinator and Quickstrike transformed to their beastmodes, following Megatron out of the Darksyde.
Terrorsaur wrote:"Yeah yeah yeah, I know the drill, killjoy"

"That's okay, I can wait, and so can you, can't you Primal? Good day to be a Predacon, bad day to be a maximal, heheheheheheheh!"

Umbra let out a sigh, following suit behind the others as his camouflage kicked in, taking a pattern similar to the obsidian ground. Terrorsaur had potential as a combatant, but his twisted personality would probably always be his downfall the Octopus thought to himself. He then glanced towards Waspinator as the insect flew by, he seemed to be acting fine so far, though Umbra was curious if being bitten by Starshadow would end up having any effects on the wasp, it was a curiosity that he probably wouldn't know the answer to as his knowledge of cybertronian medicine was fairly limited.. and mostly either for self repairs, or targeting vital points to take down targets. Understanding of advanced biomechanical viral strains, bacterial strains, and mutations were far out of his skill set.

((OOC: Actually there was nothing much I can do for both of my characters so yeah. Hmmm...I guess I can whip something up for Star.))

Starshadow was starting to wake up but felt like she had a bad hangover. Her vision was blurry but not as blur if she looked closer, her body could barely move and she felt like something was suffocating her, but her energy indicator stated that its levels are at 100 percent. The problem was most likely caused by the Umbra's cyber venom. As Starshadow tried moving her arms, she felt something was restraining her. She looked down and formed a grumpy cat scowl when she saw power bonds.

"When..will they..ever learn..?" she sat up and took a deep breath while trying to stay concious and sent a certain amount of voltage of electricity through her body and to the bonds. It failed for the first time due to the venom hindering her concentration. The cat bot counted from 3 before giving another shock. It failed again, twice. Thundercat let out an angry cat growl before sending out the final shock, causing a short circuit in the bonds. Freedom at la- No. She was definitely in a new brig. Starshadow noticed there was a hose attached to her arm and pulled it out, starting to slowly crawl towards the barrier, then clawed it with her glowing nails.

"Open it...I DEMAND...THAT YOU RELEASE ME!" she roared and slammed a fist on the barrier which created a ripple effect on it.

(ooc: The holidays and time thereafter weren't the most fun for me. For one I worked both Christmas day and new years eve into new years day (nearly 18 hour shift). By the time I got out on new years day, I was so tired I nearly drove off the road on my way home. By the time I crawled into bed, I'd been awake for 27 hours. Lack of sleep seems to have been a pattern for me lately. Oh and we're going on vacation this coming weeend, to Belize to see the in-laws. I've also been spending a great deal of time preparing for that trip, and to be frank I'm more than a little nervous about going flying with my family in the middle of winter. I only have a fear of flying in wintery conditions, after that plane crash a mile from our house in 2009. Anyways.. We should have some limited internet connection where we're going so I don't think I'll disappear. If anything I'll probably have more time to post, I hope. But boy, it feels strange packing bathing clothes for the family when it's a freezing 9 degrees F outside with a real feel of - 17F. Brrrrrr!!!!! )

Nemesis returned Rhinox' gaze with an empty stare, watching him as he attempted to digest what she had just told him. There was a lot more to it, of course, than she had let him know. Far from everything that had happened to her and by default Zodiac as well included Maximal warfare, albeit ultimately the experimentation would likely not have taken such a harsh turn if they had not been fighting against Maximal supremacy.

There were still Decepticons out there, on other worlds lingering in the shadows cast by the Maximals now controlling their home world. They lived in exile now, banished from their home that they at one point had been fighting to defend, their story now a distant memory to those still occupied their planet. All because they'd been too proud to allow Maximal technology to be implemented into their own, unwilling to sacrifice that part of themselves. Feeling the metallic transmetal feathers that now covered her wings, Nemesis fought back a sigh of longing for that power she'd been forced to relinquish when she'd been upgraded to this technology against her will. Beneath that transmetal exterior, she was still very much so a Decepticon at spark. And standing here, in a Maximal base, an outcast of a Predacon, caused a lingering ache within her.

Maximals and Predacons alike viewed her kind as extinct, as a mere memory of a past long gone. Perhaps it was what they needed to believe, to feel safe from the onslaught of an enemy more powerful than themselves. So blinded to the truth they were. It was better this way, honestly, as an unsuspecting enemy is less likely to put up much resistance when their forces were ready. And when that time comes, she had no question of who she'd be fighting for. Provided they would accept her in her current form and after the way she had broken away from the endless experiments, leaving several guards and scientists dead in her wake. But she just hadn't been able to take it anymore, the pain and the torment. She was still one of them, bred with a new technology designed to survive whatever the Maximals attacked her with. A new breed of Decepticon.. even if she didn't look like one right now.

And here she was, trapped with the very Maximals she'd been designed to kill, forced into an uneasy alliance to fight one of her own. A traitor in his own right, but where exactly did that leave her? The irony was not lost on the avian female.
"So, what... or who brought him here? I can't imagine that you're the only reason, or that he just enjoys cruising the universe and wreaking havoc on every planet he comes across. After all, no one seems to know where and when we are. Not even a probe from Cybertron found us before."
She let the words linger for a bit, feeling the bitter taste they left in her mouth, before she responded.

"He isn't here for me, that much I'm sure of. As far as they know, I'm dead after all.."

Memories of a violent battle in space, leaving her battered beyond even her amazing ability to regenerate, flashed through her mind, causing her to break eye contact. These memories were then replaced by the faces of scientists talking while she lay strapped to a table, seemingly unconscious. Their voices sounded distorted so she knew she had to ave been heavily sedated at the time, still she could make out bits and pieces. They were discussing their progress or perhaps lack thereof, and how it would be nearly impossible to pull off their goal of replacing Maximal leaders with Decepticon replicas capable of changing their form. Many of the scientists had doubts about the validity of their experiments, still they persisted. Perhaps they, too, had someone holding a loaded gun at their heads..

Nemesis shook her head briefly, trying to clear it.

"And don't sound so dumbfounded," she continued, her voice quieter now, "There are surveillance bases far beyond the borders of Cybertronian space. Perhaps one of them picked up signals from that quantum surge Optimus set off. Explosions are not limited to a single direction, after all, and who knows what that surge was capable of. Perhaps it crossed time as well as space, through means similar to what brought us all here to this planet."

It was all speculation, of course, but seemed to make as much sense as anything else on this crazy world she'd woken up to.

Nexus laid down on the hover platform, grabbing the chance to take a well deserve rest as he was being carried to the exchange point. A short distance away he could hear Optimus' voice, seemingly growing in strength and insanity alike. He could only assume that the virus had finally broken down the Maximal's defenses and was now wrecking havoc within him. Perfect timing too. The shapeshifter couldn't think of a better parting gift and it would certainly make what was coming easier.

As he lay there, having slowed his breathing down deliberately to give off the impression he truly was wounded and exhausted, a slight beep on his internal monitoring systems alerted him that the virus he had implemented earlier now had assumed full control of all of his target's systems. About time..

OOC: Here's my post guys! Hope it checks out, between the cold and the awful night of work I have ahead of me, I tried my best to make a worthwhile post that would hurry things along but also give people chances to do contribute as well, lemme know if I forgot anyone or missed something important.

P.S. what type of bug is Dirge again & which maximals came to the meeting? I remember Rattrap, Landslide, Cheetor, Dinobot, Rhinox, & WhiteGrazer right? Sorry if I got it mixed up >_<

She snickered and transformed back to her spider form, entering inside.

Tarantulas' eyes widened in shock as Blackarachnia drew her gun and fired at him, using his spider legs to shield himself as best he could, the blast sending him flying backwards into the control panels with a loud thud.

The damage to himself was minimal, though his spider legs were now a mess, either singed or broken depending on where the missile had hit them, and his back was killing him from hitting the blasted equipment, which made loud mechanical noises of complaint from the impact and so many buttons no doubt having been struck all at once. Once again the widow demonstrated she was more desperate than clever, willing to throw away what little lifeline she had left for the sake of a foolish gamble at freedom or power that would forever be out of her pitiful reach...Still, she hurt him, and she would be made to suffer for that, as soon as he could concentrate hard enough to punish her telepathically.

Turning to the other predacons who'd been left behind, Tarantulas exclaimed "Well, what are you fools doing?! She means to ruin the exchange! STOP HER!"

Yes, let the others take care of her, they could at least slow her down if not stop her, and even if she managed to get away after all, once he was feeling better he could lash out at her with his mind at the appropriate moment to make her pay for her treachery. He could either force her to bring him the disks after all rather than break them like she planned, or even freeze her up at a critical moment and leave her helpless and at the mercy of either maximal or predacon...Either way, she would pay for her arrogance.

Forcing himself to his feet, Tarantulas lurched over to the nearest CR Tank and eased himself inside...From here, he could both heal his injuries AND keep tabs on the widow uninterrupted by Spineback and the rest.

"Enjoy your rebellion while you can my dear, for it will not last" Tarantulas promised as he rested inside the tank while his injuries healed, not unlike a vampire in his coffin.

Meanwhile, elsewhere Megatron and his chosen few were nearly upon the meeting place, the tyrant falling back away from the head of the pack long enough to whisper covertly to his burrowers "Inferno, Dirge, submerge yourselves before we reach within range of their sensors or optics, and remember, do not spring our subterranean ambush until I give you the signal. Now go."

Primal was too out of it to pay attention to what was going on around him no doubt but Megatron was not taking any chances, he would hedge his bets and play this out perfectly to the letter, the disks were rightfully his and he would do whatever it took to reclaim them, even if he had to tear this world apart to reclaim them.

Returning to the head of the pack, Megatron said to the rest of his crew "We'll be reaching our destination soon my predacons, I suggest you are be on your best behavior during these proceedings unless I bid you otherwise. The recovery of the disks is a small price to pay for these two failures, yyyyyesssss."

Terrorsaur and many of the others shared an evil laugh with their leader then, despite their differences a good laugh at the expense of the maximals was something every predacon could enjoy.

"You as excited as I am Wasp?" Terrorsaur inquired of his insectoid comrade in arms, grinning evilly at him as they neared the meeting place, the thought of the looks on the maximals faces when they saw what had become of their beloved leaders was enough to give Terrorsaur yet another fit of cruel laughter.

Megatron grinned to himself, convinced he could actually FEEL the disks calling out to him, their one true master, that his quest for the conquest of Cybertron and the liberation of his people would finally be back on track after this day. This would be a proud moment in predacon history for eons to come, he was sure of it, and a moment recorded in the blood of the wretched maximals who had dared to thwart him at every turn and delay the inevitable rise of his, the Predacon Empire.

"Everyone be on their guard, the maximals will likely be too timid to risk Primal's and Nexus' lives by pulling something during the exchange but one can never be too careful when desperate fools and priceless artifacts at risk, yyyyyessss. Now then, let us quicken the pace, Predacons, we mustn't be too fashionably late for our date with destiny, nnnnooo, the maximals might have second thoughts about trading ultimate power for damaged goods, mahahahaha!" Megatron bragged, leading the pack onward, Inferno and Dirge already deep underground as instructed long before they came within range of maximal detection, the ground troops racing up the steps to the appropriately ominous meeting site while the flyers flew down from overhead, coming in for a graceful landing, their captives in tow upon their hover platforms.

With a thunderous roar Megatron bellowed "MEGATRON! TERRORIZE!" as he shed his bestial form for his robotic one, smiling suavely and smugly with Arachnitron, Quickstrike, and the most reliable of the three, Umbra by his side, while Terrorsaur and Waspinator landed their platforms, safely behind them, weapons drawn should the maximals try to take their captives back by force.

"A lovely day for a trade, wouldn't you say, Rodent?" Megatron asked casually, ignoring the mixed looks of absolute terror, despair, and hatred the maximals wore on their faces over the sight of their leaders' ruined frames, almost scrap.

"One of you take a picture of this, I want to mount this moment on my wall to immortalize it forever" Megatron whispered to his troops, half serious and half joking.

(Well Drige did kind of pledge himself to Megatron, there was kind of a point to. Although he truly loyal to NT he does specifically say to him to play along. However I would much prefer if he come, things would play out for me better. I was dropping it because he wasn't coming but hopefully not now.)

Dirge received his orders from his acting commander and proceded to slowly make his way to the exit. He made subtle click sound to let his true master know that they were leaving. He readied himself, his plate like armour shifting round him preparing to transform.
