Alrighty, I guess we'll dig into this.
First off, I'm impressed you selected a unique beast mode like the Hellgrammite, which.. no one really does larval forms of insects, so it's certainly different and I doubt we'll have a bunch of dobsonflies around.. or flies in general.
Techspecs add up to 50, though.... your character's intelligence is a 2. This means Striker 1 would have the mental equivalent of Transmutate and may have issues performing some basic tasks from operating his own weapon systems, speaking clearly, or even how to open a door.. Kind of like Frankenstein's monster in it's early life. Also if your character is meant to be completely fearless, you might want to modify his courage to a 10, however considering Striker 1 acts akin to a drone, not knowing to retreat may end up getting him destroyed if Night terror is knocked unconscious.
Also, Rampage was a Maximal experiment, not a Predacon one. So does that mean Hellgrammite was also originally part of that experiment? This also brings confusion as the Maximal Elders wouldn't simply shrug something like that running around.. or be scared of it considering they're Magnaboss..
Weapons wise, the laser and jaws are fine, the cluster missiles however.. Are these like large missiles that split into smaller missiles after launch for example like a cluster bomb https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Es1A1XoM5ZE , or is this like Tarantulas's micro missiles performing an Itano circus effect https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzXfVgYCxWI ?

Ha you sound like you knew what a Hellgrammite was before you googled it lol
He isn't retarded. He's there to receive orders and comply. Soooooo I think he will be ale to a mange doors lol, considering how long he's been around which I haven't specified ha!
I also did not specify how any experiments were linked in any way. Plus I remember The episode, you're not the only one with the internet, or memory lol.
Elders? What elders? Ha the whole rumours part didn't register?
Micro missiles will do that's what I mean. I forget we have an expert at everything on here.

By name? Not really, I've seen them plenty of times wandering around the rivers and swamps, So nice to know their proper name instead of "Bait"Mystrea wrote:Ha you sound like you knew what a Hellgrammite was before you googled it lol
I know you want to use intelligence as a dump stat, I'm just saying if you have it that low, Striker 1 is going to have the intelligence of an infant.Mystrea wrote:He isn't retarded. Okay then...

To be honest, I ended up learning most this stuff from the history channel, art,and years of games.

Woah woah woah chill Mystrea..NK didn't meant Striker's retarded. He's saying that a 2 for intelligence is equivalent to Transmutate's intelligence. Basically he's suggesting that you might wanna increase that a little bit more.Ha you sound like you knew what a Hellgrammite was before you googled it lolHe isn't retarded. Just for a little info of the Maximal Elders for your future uses, there are only 3 members. : http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Maximal_Imperium
Either way, just be nice and toss the snide comments aside because NK and OOP are the ones who are approving the bios so yeahhh...they call the shots.

Er.. I don't really call the shots.. I just do this since Alak and OOP are busy. Phoenix could easily jump in on some of this stuff if she wanted, but she'd demand a limit of atleast 3 on Intelligence.
I'm just saying are you really sure you want to have a character with the IQ of an infant armed like a mech from Armored core? Or typing out like Transmutate "Friend.. dark.. friend..light" "Flllyyyy" or.. maybe you'd prefer "Hulk Smash!"
I don't think you do,I do understand your trying to build a character that is the muscle to Night Terror's brains. Like how Knockout and Breakdown are. I just think you'd have more fun with someone smarter? It isn't too unusual for Predacons or Decepticons to have Enforcer types that are similar to thugs or hitmen that are of average intelligence but still tough.

Heh, I just googled hellgrammite and I'm still not entirely sure what I'm looking at Anyways, the only useful feedback I can provide right now is the Intelligence. Remember that this is a based on a scale of 1-10. 5 means the character will have average intelligence, so just imagine what it'd be like to play a character with an intelligence of 2. NOTE: I'm not saying you should change it. I'm just saying that you have to be aware of what you're getting into by picking an figure on the extreme end of the spectrum (particularly on the low end). Don't be surprised if you get called out for making your OC do (or say) something that's abnormally smart for its stat.
Other than that, everything else looks good to go. It'll be interesting to see him fight side-by-side with Tantrum considering how physically powerful both characters are compared to their minimal brain power.

You could easily mistake it for Water scavenger beetle larva http://www.massnature.com/Wildlife/Inve ... venger.jpg or a bit like Dragonfly larva http://bugguide.net/node/view/182026/bgimage but with the false extra legs missing.. and the Hellgrammite doesn't have the creepy unhinging mandibles like Dragonflys do..

Kinda dissapointed that people are getting hung up on the int value. I spent ages on that profile and this is kind of disconcerting. I hope people actually view the profile and don't miss it because of these posts.
Btw Starshadow, just because I use the word retard doesn't mean I need to 'chill'. Maybe you could shed some light on the profile?
Calls the shots, haha.
And that link elders link isn't necessarily representitive of the original tv show, which is what I'm basing some of my fiction on. So there might be many elders or may just corrupt politicians.

Myst, we're here to help you and we know you spent ages on profiles. We all do. What the bio admins are trying to say now (I think) is like "Sure we can approve but...you sure you want him to have an intel of transmutate?" All you gotta do is readjust the numbers. It's easy! :3Kinda dissapointed that people are getting hung up on the int value. I spent ages on that profile and this is kind of disconcerting.

Dude...no offence but I was kinda pointing out the snarky tone you're using. Just calm down and talk it out nicely and who knows maybe you would do some improvements on the bio.
I think the original tv show is just a small part of the beast wars world which means it has some links. I mean... have a look at this http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Tripredacus_CouncilMaybe you could shed some light on the profile? These 3 dudes are from Beast Wars II, but I have no idea why their 3D models looked so horrible and inaccurate.

I'm not changing the int value. Intelegance can be interpreted differently just like endurance and skill has in the past. In hindsight, thank you picking it up but have faith in me that I won't have him doing anything to smart. Just wait until the posts on that one.
Yeah Starshadow as I said. I'm kind of creating some of my own fiction here. While not all of it will line up with the original stuff, there's plenty here that doesn't already. So what I'm after is whether you like it or not. Is it cheesy or just boring? There's nothing which is completely ridiculous is there?

*INTELLIGENCE
As NK already pointed out, I'm a firm believer that the minimum stat anyone should have in anything is a 3. Any intelligence lower than that simply is not a functioning character, essentially a pocket calculator.. only dumber. I strongly encourage you up his intelligence to at least a 3. He can still be loyal to a fault yet be smart enough to realize that he should probably move if he steps in lava. His skill stat is fairly high at a 7, so what is it he is skilled at which doesn't require a capacity to think on his own?

There's no need to pull the character over such very minor adjustments. The rest of the profile was great, the back story interesting, and it will be fun to see a Predacon solely devoted to his boss as opposed to another scheming character.

Okay.. Can you at least explain to us how his Intelligence of 2 is justified? Because the way we see it, it would be rather difficult to accurately portray a character that low on the spectrum. I really don't understand why placing one extra point in his intelligence stat to make it a 3 is a big problem.
To compare with human intelligence since that might be a bit easier to relate to:
An average human has an intelligence of 100, which is equivalent of a 5 in our RPG intelligence stat for all intents and purposes. That makes an intelligence stat of 2 fall into the equivalent of 40 in human intelligence. Which is considered moderate retardation. An intellect stat of 3 would bring that number up to 60 in human equivalent, which is someone who is educable, can learn to take care of oneself under the supervision of someone else.
