Well, if we really put singing as an ability like that.. I guess Intelligence would be the closest stat to use for that. In games like D&D/Pathfinder, you'd use a Will stat/Will roll, which is usually based off Wisdom.. but using Skill to counter it seems weird. I guess that would also work for Hacking attacks too.. hm...

Stats are fine, but your at 44 points. Transmetals are allowed 50 points if you want.

Profile: "Tries to look more human then robot"? Not sure what that entails since transformers are rather humaniod considering as a species of living machines. Ah.. I see.. big eyes.. 0_o.. Er okay. Also, if you have a Camo effect, state that in the profile under abilities.

Weapons are fine.

No transmetal feature listed, I'm assuming something to make the character move in the air or on land?

Ability of singing.. it's probably more distracting and honestly, I'd put that more as a skill then an ability.

5 is average speed, so.. not bad for swimming to be honest.

There's no problem with romance in the game, Optimus Primal and Whitegrazer have a thing going on, plus Tigatron and Airazor, and Ironclaw seems to have a thing for Saberfang. However, the most important part is how the player of Depthcharge feels about going into a romantic situation with a OC. That and.. Depthcharge is around 16 feet tall.. Aphrodite being 5'7 feet might be a bit short to child like compared to the massive Manta. That's not a problem, just a observation.

Also.. Yay for Leafy Sea dragon(The Seahorse species.)

I was watching Chobits when I created her so tried to make her like more android-like I guess. Sea horses seem to be slow so I was rying to make it accurate and I guess I should add that Depth Charge feels like she's the only thing he has left of Omicron to protect so eventually after being around her for a while, he develops feelings. I was trying to make her height and everything accurate for a sea horse since they are pretty small... I didn't think about the transmetal feature, either x.x

By singing do you mean like the mythological sirens of the sea who would lure sailors into a trance with her singing voice? If so maybe there's a way to work something similar in there, although it almost calls for a statistic to cover how well a character would be able to resist such an approach? Intelligence perhaps?

Er.. again, that depends on the Depthcharge player, to have that much control over the character's feelings, you would have to be the player. So.. are you interested in playing as Depthcharge then?


As for the singing.. if it's used as some sort of "sirens call".. I'm not sure what stat to compare to what stat for that.. I mean normally, your defense is armor, against strength or firepower, with more or less fudging from shield accessories or story. But singing.. is that skill vs.. intelligence? Have to talk with the others about that.

To be DC, you do a tryout for the character, writing a entry of you being in character as Depthcharge in http://www.bwint.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3731 this thread. Also note, we still are not in season 2, so you can't play as Depthcharge immediately. In fact.. isn't Depthcharge's arrival in season 3? Well, either way, you can get dibs on the character.

Also, you'd need two sample posts (in combat and out of combat). As for trying out DC, I guess we'd have to wait until Season 3 (a.k.a. - two or three years from now). I'm not a fan of the dibs system since a lot of people who called dibs on canons back in 2008 aren't even active anymore. We should wait until the time comes and have everyone who's active and wants to play DC tryout for the character. On an unrelated note, the new Maximal reminds me that I still have to update the Active RPG Roles list

Well, DC is'nt really romantc so he'd probably just be a bit protective during battle and actually talking to her more than the others. Like, he ha a soft spot for her cause she's hunting X as well. She arrives after he does and he's like in shock for a minute cause he thought she was dead. Ya know...The 'real romance' can remain in the fanfictions. ^_^

Slag yeah! I love sirens! Hmm...Banshees and sirens...I know Dr.Xychona can't sing like a opera singer. XD

But I thought when sirens sing, the men are the only ones who are affected and not the ladies.

It can effect the ladies as well depending on their preference. But like the sirens and mermaids, Aphrodite can be sweet and sexy one minute then evil and trying to eat you alive the next ^_~
