He got his aft continually kicked in the Beast Wars and survived it on top of that, I think that was enough. But I'm not flamming you for your post, I'm just pointing out a simple fact, I respect your opinion.

I sort of expected either Grimlock or Jazz to win this year, but I'm still glad that a Beast Wars character won it. Still, you have to wonder... of the entire BW cast, did Waspinator really deserve to get in this early? BW Optimus and BW Megatron probably had more impact over the entire G1 universe than most Autobots, Decepticons, Maximals, Predacons, etc.

I have to admit, I really thought Grimmy was going to win it. I hope Gregg wasn't too disappointed. He posted links to vote for Grimlock everyday on his FB. It was really cool to see him get involved like that.

I completely agree with you, Alak. Unfortunately, it would seem neither of those characters show enough popularity on the boards to be recognized. A shame. Megatron was the greatest villain, I think. He accomplished a lot, and was quite merciless in the process. Not to mention he had great vocabulary. Primal is just one of a kind, and he still kicked Megatron's skidplate in the end. Very formidable characters, I should think. Oh well.

They're treating BW Megatron as the same as G1 for some reason, along with all other characters called Megatron too, but I guess Primal would be separate from Optimus

Yeah, I want to see Optimus Primal and BW Megatron win the Hall of Fame too. Just gotta vote them in XD

It's hard though. In some websites I have seen, both characters get pushed aside or get put together with their other incarnations which I think is unfair since they are different.

Awesome! I'm glad that Beast Wars is doing so well in these votes. This series has some of the best written characters anywhere. Dinobot and Waspinator are the two most recognizable ones, but we also have Rattrap, Inferno, Tarantulas and a few others which can easily compete with the G1 guys! Megatron was incredible in BW as well, but in my opinion, Optimus was a pretty generic character (Not a bad thing, that was what his role called for).

Next year, we're going to have to vote for Rattrap I think.
