Beast Wars: Fan Audio/Video

Unread post by CyberMegatron »

Would anyone like to see / hear Fan episodes of Beast Wars? I am involved in a Fan Radio Play called Beast Wars: The Device which is a 3-5 parter, can't remember which. But I play Megatron, Rhinox, Tarantulas.

This is another one of the alien devices and set in Season One time. It is not released yet but will be in December. I will post details on it when it gets released.

As for the Fan Produced Video it is being made by Adaptations GJ of TFCog and my SCP21|Studios of GeekCastRadio.com and we are making from the old fan comic in 2000: Dark Glass.

I am doing the voice direction which auditions close on Dec 1st and my friends at Adaptations GJ are doing the animation and music for it. They have images too and I will make a video for it soon on youtube of the images. The video for this is a long way off but will be in the vein of Season 3 Beast Wars when released and have awesome spot on visuals.

If anyone has questions lemme know.

Also the cast is yet unknown for the video but I am posed to be Megatron and Waspinator and a possible few others.

I'm really not interested in seeing remakes of Beast Wars. The story was pretty self-contained and near perfect; I don't see how anyone can improve on it.

What I am interested in seeing these days are explorations of the expanded Transformers universe that Beast Wars came out of, 300 years into the future. The Maximals and Predacons are engaged in a subtle cold war, the old generation Autobots and Decepticons are giving way to the new generations of Maximals and Predacons, and Cybertron is (theoretically) allied with humanity. I'm frankly shocked that there's not more fan-speculation of that setting. There's so much untapped potential.

I see your point. What I was getting at was one there is a fan audio production set to take place in Season 1.

As for the Dark Glass that was the cancelled episode that was later replaced with Go With the Flow in Season 3. That was almost a real episode and will be at least by the fan version of the script. There is a legit copy of it out as well but no one can get their hands on it.

So it's not a rehash or remake it's adding a missing piece back into the grand scheme.

Hijacking CyberMegatron's topic, I am. Offended by this, unlikely it is, that Steven will be.

In doing so, to keep you informed, my purpose is. Of the project's progress, by these links, will you be teased.

WOW Absolutely brilliant! I'm looking forward to this! I just hope the voice actors can live up to the impressive work the modeling and animation team has done!

Any updates on this project? I watched the audition results on YouTube and was pleasantly surprised.

We have almost all the recordings in the box now. We're fiddling with a few last takes and some of the smaller parts are taking their time, knowing that they are not really holding us back.

We're looking at our fist complete scene soon (only missing some extra textures on Depth Charge). I'm more than impressed with Rampage, Depth Charge, Rattrap, Megatron, Waspinator, Blackarachnia and Silverbolt's performances. Can't wait to hear the rest but so far, it all ties well together.

Wishmaster, the magic man behind the Mainframe accurate models, is using Anim8or to model and pretexture everything.

I texture on 3DS Max 10 and a little on Gimp when I need to make mappings

Lynx rigs on 3DS Max 10, and I also animate in it
